To gain a following
To gain acceptance
To gain the satisfaction of
being in a reputable

They the false teachers were
not living for Christ not
following after the truth,
they are teaching a false and
lying doctrine teaching right
inside the church, leading
believers to follow their lies
TEACHING THINGS THEY
OUGHT NOT FOR FILTHY
LUCRE’S SAKE
They were gluttons, that is
greedy and seeking to fill
their lust for whatever they
were after: recognition,
following, money, self-image
but honoring JESUS CHRIST
and reaching people for
Christ and sharing the truth
was not the focus of their
lives
FALSE TEACHER MUST BE
REBUKED
They must be rebuked, they
are in the church, professing
to be followers of JESUS
CHRIST, but they were not
following CHRIST fully and
wholly.
*There, they had to be
sharply rebuked, that to be
corrected with sternness and
even severity.
*This is because false
teaching affect believers as it
turn away men from GOD
and JESUS CHRIST and
destroy the mission of the

The man made approach to
GOD is that they enslave and

with all the rules necessary
to eat the right food and to
take care of their bodies and
to live a clean life, but this

TOUCH NOT, TASTE NOT

Prohibit one from touching
certain kind of food, or
testing certain kind of drink
philosophies and the ideas of
man enslave us; they force us
to commit our lives to them
and focus upon them, man
made ideas do not free us.
*Life in CHRIST is not slavery;
it is freedom, life in CHRIST is
a life free from corruption
and death- it is a free, a life
already acceptable to GOD,
man is to please GOD by
being enslaved to JESUS
CHRIST, not because we
merit it is because of JESUS
CHRIST and what he has
done in dying for man.

own motives and purposes
and with pushing their own
thoughts and formulas for
succeeding in life
*They lead in intelligent and
creativity or knowledge and
ability but have their own
formula false Gospel, they
use media screen: radio, TV,
journals, magazines, books,
newspapers, pamphlets and
tracts.
THEY ARE FALSE TEACHERS
They have not been made
new( regenerated/born
again) in the attitude of their
minds nor put on new self
They have not been put into
the ministry by GOD,
A false prophet sometimes
does not know he is false, he
is being deceived
BY THEIR FRUIT YOU SHALL
KNOW THEM
A false teacher is known by
their fruits he feeds upon and
feeds to others- He feeds
himself on thorn bushes and
thistles and not on grapes
and figs
Thorn bushes and thistles are
false food-worldliness while
Grape and figs are true food
There is only one true food
for the soul of man, the LORD
JESUS CHRIST and his word.
