THE ONLY HONOR IS TO GOD
That all men should honor,
that is to exercise of all
authority, and power being
committed to GOD , that he
might have honor given by
men to esteem, reverence,
praise, do homage to GOD.
We honor GOD when we
obey him and worship him
right, when we ascribe our
heart to him
Even as to the same extent,
in the same manner, the SON
is to be honored even as the
FATHER,
Everyone will keep honoring
the Son with the same honor
and worship they give him, if
a person does not honor
CHRIST, he does not honor
GOD, and if he does not
worship CHRIST, he does not
worship GOD.

SEEKING MANS APPROVAL
PRIDE AND SELF
CENTEREDNESS
Men seek the approval and
honor of mere men, they
seek approval the acceptance
and approval, the recognition
and honor, of other men.
They do not seek the
acceptance and approval, nor
recognition and honor of
GOD,
When a man measures
themselves against other
men he dose not come short
often, when he being praise
and honor by others, he feels
accepted, complete, fulfilled,
and often sense no need for
GOD.
Is only when men measured
themselves against GOD do
they notice that they are
short of the glory of GOD,
and will appreciate and
humble with humility and
beg always for forgiveness
and cast themselves upon
the mercy of GOD
Each man , receiving glory
from another, was in the
place of GOD, they sought
not the glory which was a
divine attribute, each man
receiving glory from another,
was in place of GOD, they
rendering to a fellow man
that which belong to GOD
only, they are robbing GOD
of his glory
They seek the praise of men
and not the praise of GOD,
which is the only true praise,
which is in opposition to all
earthly possession, live in
pride, ambition, and
vainglory
A man cannot believe the
gospel while he is solely
under the influence of
ambition.

approval of human beings,

Men must guard and be
alert to the deception of
giving and doing good before
men, on which he has got his
reward
*JESUS said that take heed
and guard yourself, do not
give for recognition, or you
will lose your reward, it
keeps men from receiving
anything from GOD
Our LORD JESUS CHRIST
never forbid us to give alms
before people, but only
forbid our doing it to be seen
of men and receive the
praise of men, which must be
done in the right attitude and
motive, to do good should be
seen to glorify GOD.
*Other wise if your only
motive for doing it is to be
seen by people, GOD will not
reward you, take heed,
therefore, that you do not do
it to be seen and praised by
men, other wise GOD will not
reward you
THE WRONG MOTIVE OF
DOING GOOD:
There are several wrong
motives for doing good:
!. A person may give for
recognition and prestige; to
be praised by men during life
and to be remembered by
men in death
2. To be praise by men, their
thanks and appreciation,
honor and praise, esteem
and glory
3. A person may give for self
admiration, self-satisfaction,
and self applause; to feel
comfortable with what he
has done and see himself at
his very best
4. He may wish to boost his
ego and to glory in himself
5. A person may give to
fulfilled the sense of duty
*It is wrong to do righteous
act (do good) so that men
may see us, a person should
guide against how he gives
and does good
Giving by recognition of men
is characteristics of
Hypocrites, giving out of
wrong motives sounding
trumpet before oneself,
blowing one own horn for
self praise, seeking the praise
of religion and on the street
for praise in the public
Given for recognition is for
the earth only, a person
perceives the recognition of
men only, which attracts
temporal satisfaction
GIVING FOR THE RIGHT
MOTIVE
The right motive of doing
and giving, is do not allow
your left hand know what
your right hand has doing
Giving unconsciously, pay no
attention to what you are
given and doing , do it with
the love of GOD to do good
and to help the ravaging
world, not giving to benefit
or receive, but just love and
care as you give and do good
*Give secretly, quietly, and
privately, do not let others
know what you giving and
doing, keep quiet and a low
profile, avoid recognition if
possible, fleeing recognition
is critical.
*The other member of the
family is the hand that must
not know
*When a person face the
real truth of the world, he
forget himself and set
himself to meet the need of
the world through the power
of JESUS CHRIST
*There is only one right
motive for giving and doing
acts of righteousness: is to
help those in need.
1. A person knows and lives
with an awareness of the
misery, misfortune, and
desperate plight of the world
2.A person loves and care so
much that he wishes to help
those who need help
3. A person literally throws
himself into meeting the
needs of the world and
helping all he can

JESUS CHRIST says that a
man who prays to be seen by
men loves to pray, but he is a
hypocrite
The hypocrites have where
he loves to pray out in public,
in synagogue(church), and in
the street( restaurant, and

by men is a hypocrites
-The hypocrites loves to pray
publicly, representing group
and vocalizing their praise

prayer model yet they lack
the essential love for private
prayer as commanded and
practiced by our LORD JESUS

- Religionist display prayer

a private and solitary prayer

The man who prays only in
public prays for only one
reason; not because he loves
prayer but because he loves
to pray for recognition to be
seen by men

not GOD
PRAYER THE RIGHT MOTIVE
The willingness to take time
to pray, go it alone to pray as
commanded and practiced by
our LORD JESUS CHRIST
A closet( room) is a necessity;
the believer must have a
private place to always pray
for a personal relationship
with GOD
*JESUS CHRIST says that a
man who is want his prayer
answered, is to pray to GOD
not to men by:
a. Get alone: Unnoticed
out of every body

GOD:s Word and law can be
imposed upon men in such a
strict and serve way that
mercy is lacking
Religion and men can add to
GOD”s word through rules,
regulations, rituals,
observance and tradition,
which in most cases stand in
place of GOD

take away GOD from the
world, leaving men to
stumble around with these
false prophets

Their desire was that of self

Beware of religious dressing
that seek to attract attention
to give false image of
righteousness.
The false teachers sin
is the more focus on
covetousness, to obtain
possession (money) of their
property, while they make
long prayer to deceive and
don’t even spare widows in a
show, make long prayers, to
cover their wickedness,
pretending great devotion
and religion
*They are some false
teachers who attract the
attention to raise and secure
large donation for widows
through endowments, trust,
investment, and gift for the
widows that is converted to
personal and their
institutions
*The same shall receive
greater damnation: they
openly blaspheme sinner;
doing such wickedness under
a cloak of religion, will
aggravate their
condemnation
