if ye continue in my word,
then are ye my disciples
indeed
32)And ye shall know the
truth, and the truth shall
make you free

IF YOU CONTINUE IN MY
WORD
If you continue to obey my
commandments and to
receive my doctrines and
abide by it.
The true believer is to
continue to seek the doctrine
that profited more and more
in knowledge and
understanding of the word of
GOD.
The person who really begins
to believe will abide in the
LORDS word. He will continue
both to study and to do the
word.
A person continue and abide
and dwell in the LORDS

THERE ARE SAVED THROUGH
BELIEVING AND HEARING
THE WORD
Believers are saved by
hearing JESUS word, by
commitment and obedience
to it, in order to be saved,
believer must hear and
follow JESUS and doing
exactly as he says
Believers are saved by
believing GOD, that he has
sent his SON JESUS CHRIST to
save them3
JESUS word that is the
doctrine and teaching of both
him and the FATHER
The result of being saved:
eternal life- A man passes
from the state of death into
the state of life, from the
state of condemnation into
justification, when a man is
truly saved, he is never
condemned to die

19)When any one heareth
the word of the kingdom,
and understandeth it not,
then cometh the wicked one,
and catcheth away that
which was sown in his heart.
This is he which received
seed by the way side
20)But he that received seed
into stony place, the same is
he that heareth the word,
and anon with joy receiveth
it
21)Yet hath he not root in
himself, but dureth for a
while; for when tribulation or
persecution ariseth because
of the word, by and by he is
offended
22)He also that received
seed among the thorns is he
that heareth the word; and
the care of this world, and
the deceitfulness of riches,
choke the word, and he
becometh unfruitful
23)But he that received seed
into seed into the good
ground is he that heareth the
word, and understandeth it;
which also beareth fruit and
bringeth forth, some a
hundredfold, some sixty,
some thirty

WHEN ANY ONE HEARETH
THE WORD-The seed
represents the word of GOD
communicated in any
manner to the minds of
people, by preaching or by
direct influence of the holy
spirit
AND UNDERSTAND IT NOT
And understanding it not
with his heart, either he is
careless and inattentive,
neglect, nor his judgment
informed by them or
forgetful, or has some slight
notions of things as he hears,
but pass away as they come;
his affections are not at all
touched, nor his judgment
informed by them, but
remains as stupid, and as
unconcerned as ever; his
heart is not open to attend to
and receive the word, but
continues hard and adamant.
THEN COMETH THE WICKED
ONE SATAN THE DEVIL
whose whole work and
employment in wickedness,
and who was the original
cause of wickedness that is
among men, catheth away
that which is sown in his
heart; not the grace of GOD,
which being once planted in
the heart, can never be taken
away by Satan, but the word
which was sown, not in his
understanding,
*So as to love the word,
delight and take pleasure in
it, and the word did not fell
into his heart, as in good
ground that is inwardly
received, but as soon as
every droop, was taken away
by the enemy due to
persecution, as stony ground
hearer; nor by filling the
mind with worldly cares, as
the problematic ground
hearer, but by various
suggestion and temptation
diverted his mind from the
word, and fixed his attention
else where, which is done
once, an unawares, secretly,
and without any notice of the
person himself, so that the
word is entirely lost to him,
and he does not so such
remember the least thing he
has been hearing
HE THAT RECEIVED THE SEED
INTO STONY ROCKY PLACES
Such a hearer, who is likened
to the stony ground on which
the seed fell, is one that
heareth the word, and
immediately is fill with joy
receiveds it, he is careless
and negligent
HAS NO ROOT IN HIMSELF
He is not grounded himself
in the word and prayer, he
has not learned the doctrines
and principles of Christianity,
he began in the emotional
joy of the word and knows
little about sacrificial
obedience
Do your best to present
yourself to GOD as approved

He has little spiritual strength
to withstand the trials and
persecutions of life, pressure
from circumstances or from
former friend of the world
HE ALSO THAT RECEIVED
SEED AMONG THE THORNS
These represent the cares,
the anxieties, and the
deceitfulness of riches,
pleasure of this present life,
worldly lust or the way in
which a desire to be rich
deceives people, it take their
time and attention
HE THAT HEARETH THE
WORD AND
UNDERSTANDETH IT
But that on the good ground
are they, which in an honest
and good heart, having heard
the word, keep it, and bring
forth fruit with patience
To make a good Christian all
these things must take place:
1. Hearing of the word
2. And understanding
3. Keeping it
4. Bring forth fruits
5. Bring forth fruits with
patience
Only a small number allows
the word to take permanent
root, a person who allows
the word to take permanent
root represents the honest
and good hearth his heart Is
soft and tender towards
GOD, so he listens, meditates
,concentrate, and thinks, he
bear fruits of GOD’S word

JESUS AS THE MASTER
BUILDER AND THE
FOUNDATION
The believer comes to JESUS
CHRIST, hear and does what
JESUS CHRIST says, a true
believer is a builder, has a
life to build once you are in
the world.
*A sensible sinner, desirous
of building his life, and the
salvation of it must dig deep
into the scripture, diligently
searches them, till he finds
out the truth of salvation in
JESUS CHRIST
*A true believer hears and
follows, our destiny depends
upon how we respond to the
saying of JESUS CHRIST OUR
LORD
*The believer digs deep to
lay the foundation a good
footing, great energy and
effort are demanded to build
on the rock, which is the right
foundation for a house, he
must choose the most
secured and sure foundation.
*The believer must dig deep
willing to put his time , cost
effort to lay on the
foundation of the rock ,
which JESUS CHRIST that is
the sure foundation, upon
which we structure our lives,
which has already been laid
by our LORD JESUS CHRIST,
the LORD is not a lifeless rock
but a lively stone
1 PETER 2:4-5
*A believer must build upon
JESUS CHRIST, there is no
other foundation that can
withstand the coming storms
of trouble, problems,
afflictions, evil, and death
*The believer is exempted
from the storm of life; it will
come in all kind of storms:
Sickness
Sin
Temptation
Suffering
Disappointments
Tension
Mistreatment
Abuse

DOING THE WILL OF GOD
True kingship is based upon
the word of GOD- hearing it
and doing it, the person who
is closest to GOD is the
person who obeys GOD, who
take his word seriously.
The deepest relation in life is
not determined by blood
relation, but by hearts and
mind, which is found in
behavior of care.
GOD takes the believer’s
heart and life welds it
together with the heart and
lives of other believers
spiritually and
*supernaturally, they
become the adopted children
of GOD; therefore, the
person who hear the word of
GOD and do it are spiritually
bound together in the family
of GOD
AN ADOPTED REDEMPTION
Believer become a people
who search GOD’s word out,
absorb it into their lives and
do it, his word becomes their
life and behavior
*Believer become new
GOD’s new community, new
society, new race, new
nation of people, his new
creation-Spiritually born
again, who comprise the true
family of GOD
