YEA RATHER BLESSED ARE THEY THAT HEAR THE WORD OF GOD, AND KEEP IT

( LUKE 11:28)

LUKE 11:27-28
27)And it came to pass, as he

woman of the company lifted
up her voice, and said unto
him, blessed is the womb
that bare thee, and the paps
which thou hast sucked
28) But he said, yea rather
blessed are they that hear
the word of GOD and keep it
BLESSED ARE THEY THAT
HEAR THE WORD AND
KEEP IT:
JESUS CHRIST- Declines to
enter into any discussion on
blessedness which earthly
relation to him might bring
it was not for public
discussion
The LORD in his reply tells
her, that whoever there is
something even more
blessed than that earthly
relationship to which she
was alluding is , the chief
happiness , the highest
honor, was to obey the
word the word of GOD and
keep it and being prepared
for heaven
MATTHEW 7:21
21) not every one that saith
unto me, LORD, LORD, shall
enter into the kingdom of
heaven; but he that doeth
the will of the FATHER which
is heaven
NOT EVERY THAT SAID
LORD LORD SHALL ENTER
THE KINGDOM OF GOD
That is making mere of
GOD’S religion outward
rituals, ceremonies, rules,
church program and
regulation .
Not every one that calls
JESUS CHRIST his LORD and
Master, professes and call
upon his name, or makes
   
use of his name in the
public ministrations, to
only gain credit and get
affection and good will from
the people; but have no
heart of love to JESUS
CHRIST, nor true faith in
him, or it is their concerned
to preach the Gospel,
advance his glory, and
promote the kingdom of
GOD
Their chief concerned is to
please men, glorify
themselves and set up
power of human nature
focusing on mans doctrine,
mammon and covetousness
CONDITION TO ENTER THE
KINGDOM OF HEAVEN
JESUS Clearly thought that
carrying out the will of his
FATHER is the condition of
going to the kingdom of
heaven
LUKE 6:46-48
46) And why call ye me
LORD, LORD, and do not the
things which I say
47) Whosoever cometh to
me and heareth my sayings,
and doeth them, I will show
you to whom he is like
48 He is like a man which
built a house, and digged
deep, and laid the foundation
on a rock; and when the
flood arose, the stream beat
vehemently upon that house
and could not shake it; for it
was founded upon a rock
AND WHY CALL YE ME
LORD, LORD
JESUS pointed that those
who call him by his title of
respect acknowledged
AND DO NOT THE THING I
SAY
but ignore his teaching and
refuse to abide with his
words commandments,
such words in their mouth
would be of no use to them,
since they neither did his
FATHER will, which he
taught them, nor observe
his commandments, there
are guilty of hypocrisy and
shall not enter the kingdom
of heaven
   
the heart, the center of our
being, determines our
outward behavior and must
be regenerated and
changed
HE WHO COME TO ME AND
HEAR MY WORD AND DO
THEM(WISE MAN)
That the wise man “digged
deep” make it deep and so
brings out the toil and
labor by laying a good
foundation by hearing the
word and doing it.
LUKE 8:21
21) And he answered and
said unto them, My mother
and my brethren are these
which hear the word of GOD,
and do it
THOSE WHO HEAR THE
WORD OF GOD AND OBEY
IT
Those who hear and obey
the word of GOD are
personally related to JESUS
and are part of GOD’S
family who hear, and put
them into practice
JESUS announcing that
spiritual relationship- being
part of GOD’s family
supersede blood family ties
JOSHUA 1: 7-8

believer/ Joshua to be
strong and courageous in
obeying GOD, in obeying his
Law, his word, is to obey
everything and to do
exactly what GOD told
Joshua:
* He is to obey all
GOD’s Word
* He was not to turn
away from GOD’S
word
 
thou make thy way
prosperous, and then thou
shalt have good success
* He was never stop in
the sharing of GOD’s
law and word
* He will meditate on
GOD’S word day and
Night
GREAT BENEFIT
§ That you may
prosper wherever
you go (v- 7)
§ That you may make
your way
prosperous ( v-8)
You shall have good
success
The assurance of obedience
in the word and law of GOD
is prosperity and to have
good success .
Those who know and
follow GOD’S word and Law
will be prosperous and
successful in that they
possess the wisdom to live
righteously and to archive
GOD’S goal in their life.
*The goal for prosperity
and success are:
To be diligent in the word
of GOD by making GOD’S
word the authority that
guides your believe and
action
Study and meditate daily on
GOD’S word, determine to
earnestly seek his
presence throughout our
life.
GOD said to Joshua the
strategy for achieving
prosperity, Is to be strong
and courageous, obey
GOD’s Law and word,
   
constantly read and study
the word of GOD
*You may not succeed by
the world’s standard, but
you will be a success in
GOD’S eye- and his will is
most important.
*We must be strong and
courageous in obeying
GOD, we must keep his law,
his commandments and his
word.
*We must never turn away
from this word; rather, we
must meditate on it day and
night, if we obey GOD, living
in his word and keeping his
commandments, we will
proper and be successful in
whatever we do.
Whatever we put our
hands to, will be blessed by
GOD, GOD will give us
purpose, achievement and
fulfillment though out our
life, this promise is given to
those who obey GOD by
meditating in his word day
and night only to those.

righteous by GOD, love,
obedience to GOD’S word
and separating from the
world, the blessing is a gift
from GOD, it is as a result of
GOD’S approval,
acceptance, and favor upon
an obedient believer’s life
*The righteous man can be
distinguishing by their life
style and association, they
avoids or separated himself
from the wicked and
worldly persons in :
a) Their counsel
b) Their sinful way
c) Their mockery
The righteous man avoid
evil influence, deeds, and
attitudes
He is devoted to GOD’S
word
a. Love it and take
great delight in the
word of GOD
b. Meditate on it day
and night
To became rooted on
GOD’s word only then ,will
he be given a fruitful life
just like well watered tree
and GOD will cause him to
prosper
BE DEVOTED TO GOD’S
WORD
The blessed person by
GOD not only turn from evil
way, but also build their
lives around the instruction
   
of GOD’s word, they take
pleasure in GOD and
patterned their lives
according to his word, they
motivate the love and
action from for GOD and his
word and draw life from
GOD, they live fruit bearing
lives, they heeds the
counsel of GOD’S inspired
word, guided by the light
and wisdom of GOD’S word,
through life full of joy,
peace, happiness and hope
(a) Love it take great
delight in it, by an
emotional
involvement with
GOD’S word
(b) The blessed person
has genuine
affection,
passionate feelings
for the word of GOD
and must have
emotional relation
if we wish to
receive GOD
enhance favor and
long to be blessed
and happy will,
delight in:
i)
Reading the
word of
GOD/Bible
ii)
Studying it
iii)
think about it
iv)
hearing it
preached and
taught about it
v)
obey in doing it
The person seeking to live
under GOD’S blessing, they
must meditate on GOD’S
   
word/LAW in order to know
GOD by revelation and to
shape their thinking,
attitudes and Actions, they
read the word of the
scripture, ponder on them
and compare them with
other scripture when
meditation on a passage
THE RIVERS OF WATER
The out come of the person
who faithfully seek GOD
and his WORD is life in the
spirit and be always useful
and productive to GOD
PSALM 112:1-3
1)Praise ye the LORD,
blessed is the man that
feareth the LORD that
delighteth greatly in his
commandments
2) His seed shall be mighty
upon the earth; the
generation of the upright
shall be blessed
3)Wealth and riches shall be
in his house; and his
righteousness endureth for
ever
BLESSED IS THE MAN THAT
FEAR THE LORD
The blessing in store for a
God-fearing and righteous
person, GOD promise to
bless those who fear him
and delight in his
commandments and
written word
The great word of GOD are
studied with great pleasure
by them that fear him
They are but few who truly
fear the LORD GOD, only
such who have the grace of
GOD; these are happy men:
they have an interest in the
heart of GOD, in his love in
his delight, great
discoveries are made unto
them; the secret of the
LORD is with them, he
shows them his
commandments, and are
guarded and protected by
the LORD.
His eye of providence and
as well as, is upon them,
and love that delight
greatly in his
commandments: in
righteousness, purity and
holiness of them: in keeping
and doing them, after
inward man, he observers
them from a principle of
love, and find peace and
pleasure in them
HIS SEED SHALL BE MIGHTY
UPON THE EARTH
The true seed of the
righteous are those who are
Successive generations of
GOD-fearing men who shall
   
be strong and influential in
society and shall have
dominion, and those who
follow after them in their
virtues, even as believers,
who are upright in heart
He who fears GOD and lead
a holy life, is as a rule, doing
the best he can for the
future advancement of the
house whole and the
kingdom of GOD, no
inheritance can have
compared or equal to that
unblemished name.
WEALTH AND RICHES
SHALL BE IN HIS HOUSE
Through rather this
signifies spiritual riches, the
rich towards GOD, the
riches of grace, the
unsearchable riches of
JESUS CHRIST, durable
riches and righteousness,
the new man which is
created in righteousness,
the inward principle of
grace of the righteousness
of JESUS CHRIST that was
imputed to him as an
everlasting
PSALM 119:1-2
1)Blessed are the undefiled
in the way, who walk in the
law of the LORD
2)Blessed are they that keep
his testimonies, and that
seek him with the whole
heart
BLESSED ARE THE
UNDEFILED
They are people of integrity
who follow the path of
divine instruction, they
obey GOD’S revelation and
search for it with all their
heart and reject the form of
evil
They have love of GOD and
obedience to his
instruction and express
commitment to it by
keeping them and doing
them.
WHO WALK IN THE LAW OF
THE LORD
They walk within the
boundaries and limit of the
word of GOD, in accordance
to its direction, with great
delight; and cheerfully obey
its commandments, as
influenced by the love of
GOD, and assisted by the
Holy Spirit and grace of
JESUS CHRIST, the word of
the law or doctrine, which
may design the revelation
of the divine will, which
believers should abide in,
and not transgressed; and
should walk uprightly
according to the truth
ISAIAH 48 :17-18
17)Thus saith the LORD, thy
Redeemer, the Holy One of
Israel; I am the LOD thy GOD
which teacheth thee to
profit, which leadeth thee by
the way that thou sholdest
go
18)O that thou hadst
hearkened to my
commandments then had thy
peace been as a river, and
thy righteousness as the
waves of the sea
I AM THE LORD WHICH
TEACHETH THEE TO PROFIT
A character peculiar to
JESUS CHRIST, who engage
in covenant to be the
redeemer of all the people
who came into the world
for the purpose, and has
obtained eternal
redemption
JESUS teaches and guide us
the believe, which from
time to time have made
known unto thee, all
necessary and useful
doctrines; which, if believed
and observed to do them,
would be profitable both
for the present life and that
to come
WHICH TEACHETH THEE
PROFITABLE THINGS
Who teaches us in respect
of the doctrine relating to
the knowledge of GOD in
JESUS CHRIST, and the
operation of the Holy Spirit
and the knowledge of man
his lost and depraved state;
having sinned in Adam, the
guilt of his sin imputed to
and a corrupt nature
These are profitable
doctrines, of JESUS eternal
love, which serves to
display the riches of divine
grace.
