COMMANDMENTS:
Do not show your love by
grief at my departure but
show it by your obedience,
to what I have command
you in keeping my
command ,is only proper
evidence of love to JESUS,
to love him will leads us to
do his will, to love each
other, to deny ourselves,
If a person loves JESUS, he
will keep the
commandments of JESUS,
by obey what he command,
the believer have no option
but to love JESUS CHRIST
with all his heart, that he is
the SON of GOD, therefore
he diligently seek JESUS
CHRIST, and seek to please
him in all that he does, to
love JESUS CHRIST is a
matter of the heart and of
the Spirit: the matter of
man’s most vital part, man
innermost being, all man is,
the heart causes a man to
give himself either to good
or to bad, to love JESUS is to
focus our affection and
devotion upon GOD ,
cherishes and attached
himself to JESUS CHRIST,
sacrificially give all to him,
commit all he is to severing
CHRIST and freely accept
JESUS CHRIST
AND I WILL PRAY THE
FATHER AND HE WILL GIVE
YOU ANOTHER
COMFORTER
JESUS will ask the FATHER
to give the comforter only
those who are serious of
their love for him and their
devotion to his words
the greatest help the
believer is to receive is the
very presence of GOD
himself in the person of the
Holy Spirit the acceptance
of the Holy Spirit is
conditional, it is the person
who loves JESUS who is
given the Holy Spirit and it is
given because JESUS prays
for us, he is our intercessor,
who pleads our case, JESUS
makes it possible for us to
receive or accept the Holy
Spirit, the counselor or
comforter, Helper,
Advocate, strengthener,
I WILL PRAY THE FATHER
Therefore JESUS CHRIST is
also another advocate,
comforter will replace him
and to carry on his work, he
had been to them a
counsellor, a guide, a friend,
while he was with them on
earth, he instructs them,
the other comforter was to
be given as compensation
for his absence, who will
comfort the believers during
CHRIST absence, to teach
them, or remind them of
the truth , the Spirit that
enables you stand before
magistrates and to aid them
in their work by taking the
things of CHRIST and
showing them to the
believer by putting the
love of the FATHER and the
son into their hearts, by
opening and applying the
promise of the glorious
Gospel to them,
our LORD tells of this strong
continued presence , which
will be a permanent
companion, who will abide
with us forever.
If a person truly loves
JESUS, that person is given
the Holy Spirit,. the word
Comforter combines the
idea of comfort and
counsel, and could be
translated as Advocate,
encourager, working for
and with us, that possession
of an abiding and indwelling
Spirit is the gift of JESUS
CHRIST to believers heart,
The source of the Holy
Spirit is the FATHER, he
gives the Holy Spirit to
those who love the son, he
puts his Spirit in the person
the holy spirit abides for
ever with the believer, his
presence continues JESUS
work, by defending, advising
and protecting the believer
and never ends, the Holy
Spirit who is the comforter,

all our actions, the heart

devotion, it causes us to

we are to love GOD

as well in public, we must
love him, with a sincere
love: not in words and in
tongue only; saying that we
love him, when our hearts

inwardly, and in truth,
delighting ourselves with
him with a strong love , our

towards him, with great
passion and fervency of
affection, trust and
obedience to him . fear and
worship and serve him, we
must love GOD above every
creature., we must love
GOD with our soul and our
strength , which is a
personal relationship, GOD
seek fellowship with his
people and gives them this
one indispensable
command that is attached
to himself, we shall come to
know him in covenant
relationship, which is the
first and greatest
commandment along with
the second which is love our
neighbors hangs all the law
and the prophets, true
obedience to GOD and his

faith in and love for GOD

YOUR HEARTS
The believer is to place the
commandments in his
hearts, where true love to
GOD exists in the heart, it
will manifest itself in
regards to his will, and in
the diligent keeping his
commandments, it should
be preeminent in the
believer’s life, he is to
cherish the commandment,
put them in their heart,
It is GOD’S firm desire that
his word be in the hearts of
the believers, this can only
be accomplished by daily
meditating and searching
the scripture and continue
in it

spiritual relationship and

GOD, and doing it.
We become a member of
GOD’S family by doing the
will of GOD, which proves
that a person has become a
member of GOD’S family;
that a person has entered
into the kingdom of heaven
, the new spiritual
dimension of being, a
person who seeks after GOD
who seeks to do his will,, is
a person who develops a
relationship with GOD, he
becomes an adopted child
within GOD’S family, a
mother, brother and sister
to CHRIST, which has
rebirth of the Spirit of GOD

commitment to JESUS

HE THAT HATH MY
COMMANDMENTS AND
KEEP THEM
Having CHRIST
commandments and
keeping them; they must
both concur to make a true
indication of our love to
CHRIST, and if any man
declares his love to CHRIST,
he had not merely the
external revelation of them
in the Bible; but has them
written on his heart, by the
finger of the Spirit of , and
keep them under the
influence of grace and
strength received from him,
he it is that love CHRIST and
he that love me shall be
loved of my FATHER GOD
The full manifestation of
CHRIST is the moral
apprehension and practical
obedience of our LORD’S
commandments,
permanent possession and
lofty privilege and
adequate standard of the
commandment in our
consciousness, keeping
them ,observing them in
life, is the prove and
expression of love, and this
love finds its response and
reward in the love of the
FATHER , and of the SON,
and in the manifestation of
the son to the individual
believer.
The true love of JESUS
produce obedience, that
those who love him will be
love of the FATHER, showing
that there in a unique union
between the FATHER and
the SON, JESUS also will
love them, , the love of one
holy being is the love of all,
the kingdom of GOD is one,
The believer who has
JESUS’ commandment

manifestation of the Holy
Spirit, to have his
commandments means that
the believer has searched
and possessed the
commandment of JESUS
CHRIST, he has them in his
heart, knows them, he has
made them his own, the
believer who does these
two things shows that he
shall be loved of the FATHER
and the LORD will love him
as well and will manifest
himself to the believer who
puts the commandment in
his heart , it means that he
shows, manifests, himself,
he disclosed his person, his
nature, his goodness, he
illuminates himself within
their hearts and lives and
gave special consciousness
within their soul

IF A MAN LOVE ME HE WILL

If a man love me he will
keep my words, which is my
doctrine and his
commandments,
our LORD states the
condition necessary on the
part of a man in order that
the abiding presence of
GOD to the believer may be
possible, is an answer to the
question of Judas, not
Iscariot , due to the world in
its unbelief reject CHRIST
words , CHRIST promises
that he would continue his
care of his disciples and
believer, I will not leave you
comfortless , for though I
leave you, I will come onto
you by my spirit after my
resurrection.
The abiding presence of
GOD the FATHER and the
SON and the Holy Spirit is a
condition to obey CHRIST,
that is love and keep his
words, the person who love
JESUS will want to do what
he says,, is the condition of
the abiding presence of all
three the FATHER, The SON
and The Holy Spirit, will
come and make their home
with him the believer, all
three live and dwells with
the believer,

If a man love CHRIST, he

that is he will study and
endeavor to keep the
commandment of CHRIST,
that is evidence of true love
and perfect obedience to
his will, that is when he is
loved, obedience proves
inward love
The keeping of the words is
certain importance of holy
love and my FATHER will
love him, the three will
come the FATHER and JESUS
CHRIST and Holy SPIRT will
take up our abode, make for
ourselves a residence or his
dwelling
It implies that GOD and
CHRIST would take up
residence in the believer, it
would be the privilege of
believers to enjoy their
presence continually,, they
will take up residence in
their hearts as their
dwelling- place, as a temple
fit for their abode,

THE LIVING GOD

habitation; for the believers
are the dwelling places or

The condition of receiving
the indwelling of the three,
which is the revelation is
loving obedience: those
who don’t love CHRIST and
reject his words, cannot
receive the abiding
presence of GOD, this
shows that the abiding
presence is not universal,
and cannot be shared by
those who hate and disobey

IF YOU KEEP MY
COMMANDMENT, YE
SHALL ABIDE IN MY LOVE
Keeping his
commandments not only
proves of love towards
CHRIST by securing his love
for us, this is the method
and secret, the stimulus and
proof of abiding in the love
of CHRIST, doubtless there
is a love which dictates
obedience to the loved
one’s will.
JESUS said, if you keep my
commandments ye shall
abide in my love, the
obedient spirit of true
believer cherishing and
attracting the continuance
and increase of CHRIST’S
love, and was the secret
even of his own abiding in
his FATHER’S love.
The LORD kept the
FATHER’S commandments
always, doing those things
which please him, offering
up his precious life, laying it
down that he might take it
again; and the consequence
is that he was filled with all
the fullness of divine love,
obedience to the
commandments of CHRIST
being the only way to show
and declare the truth of our
love to CHRIST.
JESUS says, I abide in my
FATHER’S love; I do not
show love to my FATHER by
mere words and expression
only nor by performance of
some ceremonial rituals
service, but by fulfilling his
whole will and counsel, by
yielding and obedience to
him in all things, but to such
that observe the
commandments of CHRIST
he will continue to make
further discoveries of his
love, and let them see more
clearly and largely what a
value he has for them, and
how much he love them

FATHER’S
COMMANDMENTS
The commandments of the
FATHER kept by JESUS
CHRIST were not only the
precepts of the mortal law,
and the rites of the
ceremonial one, but the
preaching of the Gospel,
and submitting to the
commandments of it, doing
of miracles, and laying down
his life for his people, in
which the FATHER testified
his approval of them and
how strongly he was
affected to him, what an
abiding he had in his love;
so CHRIST showed his
constant and continued love
to his FATHER; and which
was done by him, that the
world, might know how
much he loved him.
JESUS said that it is up to
the believer to continue in
his love, by doing what any
person does when he wants
someone to love him, the
person draws near to the
person he loves; he does
good and tries to please the
person, so with the believer
continues in the love of
CHRIST by drawing near and
doing good seeking to
please him, abiding or
remain in the love of CHRIST
has a standard, a supreme
example; it is CHRIST
himself, he was perfectly
obedient to GOD: therefore
he continue in his FATHER’S
love, believer must do
something if he is going to
follow CHRIST and remain
abide in CHRIST, the
believer must study and
learn and remain abide in
the word of GOD, in the
commandments , doctrine
and life of CHRIST, a person
cannot keep the
commandment unless he
knows the commandments

The Jews who believed him,
they were just converted
and accepted the Messianic

them not by his word, but

their faith should abide the
test, it should produce
obedience to his words

commandments, which is

truth of GOD , every
believer must continue daily
in the learning and daily
living to grasp the truth
which is in that word and
that word was GOD
revelation to man.
Believers who are newly
converted are greatly
encouraged and as well
warned not to make the
mistake of a temporary joy
and be carried away by the
moment of receiving the
word of GOD, and that it
must become permanent
condition of life, the
believer must continually
obeying the teachings and
living in accordance with
them, then you are truly my
disciples Of JESUS CHRIST
A person who really begins
to believe will “abide” in the
LORD’S word, he will
continue both to study and
to do the word, the proof
and evidence that a person,
really believes, is that he
does continue and abide
and dwell in the word of the
LORD
AND YOU SHALL KNOW THE
TRUTH
And you will know the
truth, the truth of the
Gospel regarding salvation,
that they should have a
larger knowledge of the
truth; but by the Spirit of
the truth should lead them
into the truth, and life and
the sense in it, they should
know more of him, of the
dignity of his person and
cause them to grow and
increase in the Gospel of
light and knowledge of
JESUS himself, who is the
way, the truth and the life
and the excellency of his
righteousness and the
fullness of his grace.
The truth sets men free
from bondage of sin, from
the shadow of doubt, and
bondage of death and the
bondage of judgment and
hell, the darkness of an
unknown future and
apprehension of an
impending judgment
constantly face man.
The truth sets men free to
be saved to the uttermost,
existence, love, joy, peace,
satisfaction, hope, the truth,
is able to save man to
complete, perfect and
eternally , all have to come
to CHRIST to be free from
penalty of sin for salvation
and life eternity

JESUS press for obedience

means, by which we can
declare our love to CHRIST:
and also by their continued
obedience , they assume
the state and dignity of his
friends, being a friend of
JESUS CHRIST is conditional,
a person has to know and
do his commandments in
order to be a friend of his,
to be a friend is to know
what JESUS CHRIST says, it is
his word that tells men
about him, therefore a
person has to diligently seek
to learn his word and to do
what he says in order to
know him and become his
friend.
The character of friends, is
applied to the disciples of
CHRIST; and belongs not
only to his disciples, but to
all that love him, believe in
him, obey him: to whom he
has showed himself friendly
, by laying down his life for
his people, which is of great
love, which appear sto be so
by their cheerful obedience
to him ,
HENCEFORTH I CALL YOU
NOT SERVANT:
For servant know not what
his LORD do: design to do,
or is about to do, he receive
the command of his master
without knowing the reason
why this or that ordered,
he is not privy to all his
counsels and purposes .
But I have called you
friends; that is accounted,
reckoned of them, used
them as his friends and
familiar acquaintance, by
them more and more, into

The friends of CHRIST are
built around the word of
GOD, is the word of GOD
that gives birth and
structure to the bond of
friendship.

WHOM THE WORLD
CANNOT RECEIVE
It means all who are under
the influence of things of
the world, pride, ambition,
craving for carnal pleasure,
the Holy Spirit cannot be
received by them, but can
only be by those who have
the Spiritual ability, who are
regenerated, the
unbelieving world, caring
only for things of the world,
has lost its Spiritual
perception, it has no eye to
see and no heart to know
spiritual things, for they are
Spiritually discerned.
It is impossible for the
world to accept the Holy
Spirit, because the
unbeliever does not see or
know the Holy Spirit, the
world lives only for what he
can see and know, only for
the physical and material
things, only for what he can
touch or feel, taste and
consume, think and use,
they reject JESUS, they do
not love him, and care little
or nothing about him.
The unsaved cannot receive
him, therefore all men who
do not have the Holy Spirit,
refuse to understand him
nor receive the Gospel or
permit the work in their
lives, due to their carnal
and natural mind who can
neither receive the Spirit or
things of the Spirit
BUT YE KNOW HIM FOR HE
DWELLS WITH YOU AND
SHALL BE IN YOU
The Holy Spirit he is the
spirit of illumination,
regeneration and
conversion, lives with the
believer: giving assurance,
looking after, caring, guiding
and teaching, the Holy Spirit
is in the believer:
communicating,
fellowshipping, sharing, and
conforming the believer to
the image of CHRIST

If a man keep my saying: or
doctrines, receives the
Gospel in love of it, obeys it
from his heart, and cordially
embraces and firmly
believes it; and retains and
hold it fast, having a
spiritual and comfortable
experience of the doctrine
of JESUS CHRIST, and
yielding a cheerful and
ready obedience to his
commands in faith and love,
this keeping is more than
abiding in the word, there is
the additional notion of
watching, keeping, in the
heart, obeying and doing it
He shall never see death:
eternal death, which is
everlasting separation of
man, body and soul from
GOD: he never ceases to
experience life and never
loose consciousness this
death shall have no power
on such person, he shall
never be hurt by it, but shall
rise again and live eternally

indwelling presence of the

new birth, the Spirit direct
the lives of the believers ,
they are not carnal, but
spiritual men who are
regenerated in the state of
grace, the inhabitation of
the Spirit is a distinguishing
character of a regenerate
man in a way of special
favor, as sprit of
illumination, sanctification,
faith as a comforter, a Spirit
of adoption, an intercessor
for he dwells in the
believers.

IF ANY MAN HAVE NOT THE
SPIRIT OF CHRIST HE IS
NONE OF HIS
Now if any man have not
the spirit of CHRIST, he is
none of his ,that is the
unspiritual carnal mind is
the mind of man’s flesh or
body controlled by sinful
nature, is the mind which
man is born, the fleshy mind
inherited from his parents,
it is given over to sinful
nature, that focuses upon
worldly urges and desires
that give his attention to
material and physical things,
power, house, fame,
money, lands, furniture,
recognition, position, which
dominate the mind and
heart of the unsaved and
unregenerate state are
without CHRIST, such don’t
particularly belong to
CHRIST, and has no special
interest in him, is no true
member of him and don’t
believe in him, if a man is
not influenced by the meek,
pure, and Holy Spirit of the
LORD JESUS, if he is not
conformed to his image, if
the life does not resemble
that of the savior, and does
not manifest his Spirit he is
not of him.

3)And hereby we do know
that we know him, if we
keep his commandments
4)He that saith, I know him
and keepeth not his
commandments, is a liar,
and the truth is not in him
5)But whoso keepth his
word, in him verily is the
love of GOD perfected:
hereby know we that we
are in him

AND HEREBY WE DO KNOW
THAT WE KNOW HIM
To be sure you are a
believer and belong to GOD,
obedience is one clear
indication that we are
believers, that we love him
and belong him, is to keep is
commandments, sincerely
endeavors to live in
obedience to all his
command, to show our love
for him by keeping his
words, and loving one
another, we surrender all
we are and have to JESUS
CHRIST and to loving one
another, unless we are
involved in these aspect, we
cannot claim that we know
him, we must not kill, steal,
covert neighbor good, wife
and do anything else against
our neighbor.
If a person really knows
GOD, then he will want to
please GOD, he want to
know more and more about
GOD and do the thing that
GOD does, to walk and love
as GOD as GOD and our
knowledge of him will grow
towards completeness and
maturity, we will live as in
union with JESUS showing
love for others.
To be saved one must keep
his commandments, it is
absolutely impossible to
know GOD and not to bey
his commandments not the
commandment of men, for
not keeping of them arise
from the ignorance of
knowledge of GOD, one
must continue to keep and
do them , that is one of the
bases that GOD can bless
and any one, if any one
profess to be saved and
does not keep the
commandment is a liar
BUT WHOSO KEEPETH HIS
WORD
The one in him is the love
of GOD perfected, he is the
one who love GOD in his
heart, and the love receives
it completion by obedience
to the will of GOD, the
obedient man obeys GOD’S
word and know GOD’S love,
cordially embraces and
retain it fast and stand fast
in it, that is when we know
we are in him,
The obedient person is the
one who knows JESUS
CHRIST and keep his
commandment, he is the
persons who know the love
of GOD, he knows all the
fullness of life that GOD’S
love bring, no matter what a
person may professes, no
matter religious that person
may be, if he refuse to obey,
he does not know GOD or
love GOD

AND HE THAT KEEPETH HIS
COMMANDMENT
DWELLETH IN HIM
He whose whole soul is
thus formed to obedience
of the divine will , of those
instructions declarations
concerning their faith in
CHRIST, and love to the
brethren and acts according
to them, hath most intimate
union with GOD in CHRIST.
The person who believes in
JESUS CHRIST and love
others dwells in CHRIST and
CHRIST in him, a clean heart
produce by the Holy Spirit
dwelling within us., the Holy
Spirit of GOD seals and
guarantees us, gives us
absolute assurance, he lives
within us, which means that
he talks to us, share with us,
leads and guides us,
discipline us, convict us and
convinces us, all that is
involved in living, the Spirit
of GOD does with in us, he
is our constant and
permanent companion, he
never leave us or forsake us,
he is always infusing us with
the assurance and 25
confidence of GOD with his
presence and power.

at any time, if we love one
another, GOD dwelleth in
us, and his love is perfected

we dwell in him, and he in

NO MAN HATH SEEN GOD
AT ANY TIME IF WE LOVE
ONE ANOTHER
GOD is not known by sight,
no person has ever seen
GOD face to face, GOD is
known only by love the
Spirit of GOD is the Spirit of
love, he that does not love
the image of GOD in his
people, has no saving
knowledge of GOD, for GOD
nature is to be kind,
merciful, compassionate
and loving, GOD, whom no
man hath seen at any time,
hath appointed his children
as visible recipient of our
outward kindness which
flows from love to himself, if
GOD so love us, we ought
also love GOD, and we also
to love one another by
yielding ourselves to the
power of his love, so as to
transformed by it.
We know GOD by love, if
we love GOD then we
accept what GOD has done
for us in CHRIST, GOD puts
his spirit in us, when we
accept him, GOD’S love
became perfected, that is
complete and fulfilled in us
,we continue to grow in the
love of GOD
IF WE LOVE ONE ANOTHER
GOD DWELLETH IN US
If we love one another
GOD dwells with us , we
draw the real love we bear
to the brethren, GOD had
never been seen by mortal
eyes, we as believers are
not to be acquainted with
what he is, but is only when
we have a thorough
knowledge of him by
evidence that we love one
another and by the
presence of the Holy Spirit
in our heart.
If we love one another GOD
dwells with us, though we
cannot see him, yet there is
a way by which we may be
assured that he is with us
and dwells with us
