MAN MOTIVE IN SEEKING
JESUS IS SELFISH:
The world motive, is that
man motive is corrupt
Man seek a Messiah(Savior),
but not to worship and serve
him, he seek him for what he
can get from him
Man is interested in getting
his need met, whether by
someone human or divine.
Man is interested for himself,
not in acknowledge and
honoring JESUS to be LORD
and to serve him and making
him known to a lost world.
The thought of the crowd
was focused on how
wonderful it was to be saved
from hunger and their needs
met.
He was a Messiah who could
meet all their needs, who
could satisfy and give them a
complete and full life, he
could deliver them from
enslavement and enemies.
MAN THOUGHT ARE
FOCUSED
LABOR NOT FOR THE MEAT
WHICH PERISHETH
Man seek food that spoils ,
he centers and focuses his
thoughts, energies and effort
upon the moment that is his
year on earth man seek:
Ø Feeling and pleasure
Ø Comfort and ease
Ø Recognition and
honor
Ø Position and power
Ø Fame and self
Such self-seeking is foolish,
for all things pass away, even
man himself, a day is not
guaranteed, the things of the
earth with all do not satisfy .
They still leave man totally
empty, incomplete,
unfinished, hungry,
dissatisfied, seeking more
and more.
The earth and all the things
withal their pleasure and
feeling will pass away, they
will age, deteriorate, die and
decay.
SEEKING JESUS THE GREAT
PROVIDER
JESUS said that is the SON of
Man is the One who can give
food that last forever, the
one who can give life that is
both abundant and eternal
JESUS said believer should
work and labor for food that
endure, that gives or last” to
eternal life”:
*An abundant life, a life that
is complete and fulfilled full
of love, joy, peace and all
good thing of life
Man should be interested in
the JESUS CHRIST for who he
is and not for what he can
get out of him, JESUS is not a
tool to be used; he is should
be sought and loved by:
JESUS IS SEALED
That is guarantee by GOD
that is the Son of GOD who
can give life more abundantly

HO, EVERY ONE THAT
THIRSTETH:

salvation is true and genuine
spiritual hunger and thirsty
for forgiveness and for right
relationship with GOD
Hunger and thirst for
righteousness
Hunger and thirsty for GOD’S
righteousness and power of
his kingdom continue to be
vital condition for receiving
the fullness of his Spirit
WHEREFORE DO YE SPEND
MONEY FOR WHICH IS NOT
BREAD
All your time, and strength
and cost For that which is not
bread- For those things
which can never nourish or
satisfy you such worldly
goods, pleasure, foolish
things, superstitions and
idolatries
Your labor for that which will
not satisfy, world things, such
labor in vain.
HEARKEN DILIGENTLY ON TO
Hear with utmost attention
and commitment to my
doctrine and counsel
EAT YE WHICH IS GOOD: But
the good word of GOD, the
Gospel, which being and
eaten by faith, or mixed with
faith by them that hear it,
and so digested, is the joy
and rejoicing of the heart
An let your soul delight in
the scripture, in goodness of
attending to the LORDs word
and law with spiritual
pleasure and delight of the
gospel.

AND MATERIALISM
Lay not up for your self
treasures on earth- where is
man focus earth or heaven.
TREASURE:
A treasure is that which man
takes and ascribe value to
them, anything that
dominate owns life
JESUS CHRIST warned that
believers should not be
earthly focus after money,
possession and material
thing which is centering our
live around houses,,
furniture, cars, lands,
building, all things that make
security and wealth on this
earth
*The reason, nothing in this
earth is secured and lasting,
it is aging, decaying and
wasting away, it is
corruptible and temporal.
JESUS CHRIST said we must
focus our live around himself
and heaven, for everything
about himself and heaven is
life and security
STORE UP FOR YOURSELF
HEAVENLY TREASURES
Store up for yourselves
heavenly treasures/riches are
incorruptible, can never
perish, spoil or fade- Kept in
heaven for you
Every one should lay claim
and set his heart on his
heavenly inheritance ,
heavenly riches.
*Thieves cannot break
through heaven: they cannot
penetrate the Spiritual
dimension, no one nor
anything can takeaway a
person’s heavenly riches,
Heaven is worth more than
all the wealth in the world
A man must leave all to
follow JESUS CHRIST or else
he is not JESUS disciple

WORRY AND ANXIETY
The believer is not to worry
about necessities, about food
and drinks, about body
clothing.
Do not be too concerned or
preoccupied with the many
fall trap of centering their
mind and thoughts on
material possession of life.
A believer should not center
or wrapped up and entangled
in the affairs of this world, he
is not to first to seek the
things of the world, anxious,
disturbed and sleeplessness,
which can cause serious
health problem ranging
headache, high blood
pressure and heart attacks
JESUS is talking about being
so consume with getting that
and think little of GOD
*The basic problem of man
is to setting priories and
determining what is to be
first in his life, the first
priority of every man is to
take care od his life
eternity.
*Why should a man
concerned about few short
years when he has
opportunity to sustain
himself for ever in life
eternity, why seek things that
will sustain and adorn his
physical body for a brief time
and then fade away
We are to seek the God and
his righteousness should be
the first priority of every man
NECESSITIES OF LIFE
Do not worry about food or
shelter , God gives food and
shelter to the birds of the air,
LOOK AT THEM AND STUDY
THEM- use your eye and
learn through- Lean from
what you see around, the
providence of GOD take care
of Birds- Lean that GOD will
always take care of the
believer
The believer is better than
birds and GOD will likewise
take care of the believer
The believer is better than
the birds.
Man is a higher being, on a
much higher level of
creation, than animals, he is
more noble and excellent, a
spiritual being made in the
image of GOD and capable of
a personal relationship with
GOD
*The believer is a child of
GOD, GOD is the creator of
birds but he is the FATHER of
believer, the believer is an
heir of GOD, he is to receive
all that GOD possesses in that
glorious day of redemption
*GOD known every bird on
the earth, the innumerable
number of every sort and
size, and he feeds and shelter
them all, God knows every
believer on the earth, even
the most minutes details
about him(the number of his
hair), therefore the believer
need not fear, GOD will
shelter him if the believer
will seek him first(MATHEW
6:33
*The believer is worth more
than many a Sparrows /birds
(MATHEW 10:31), the
believer must be rest assured
that GOD will feed and
shelter him GOD will not
starve him.
The believer responsibility is
to seek ye first the kingdom
of GOD and his
righteousness, but GOD will
not pamper license a person,
that is laziness, slothfulness,
and lack of planning and
initiative and effort, GOD
Man must work extra enough
to have enough to help
others EPHESIAN 4:28
WORRY-ANXIETY OF LIFE
Do not worry about your
lifespan, for worry is
pointless, but lean to trust
GOD, do not your
concentration your mind and
heart and effort on the world
that is senseless concentrate
and focus upon GOD and his
righteousness, Such
assurance will perfect a
change in your life in this
present world and the world
to come Life eternity, which
is every believers goal.
First it is senseless for
believer to seek to add an
inch to their height, and to
worry about their body here
and neglect life hereafter ,
wall through life, ignoring
His FATHER LORD JESUS
CHRIST and not trusting in his
care and love
TRUST AND BELIEVE IN GOD
SHALL HE NOT MUCH MORE
CLOTH YOU O YE OF LITTLE FAITH?
CLOTHING- Do not worry
about clothing, Lilies do not
labor or spin at spinning
wheels to decorate
themselves with beauty,
their beauty come naturally
as they go about their
purpose in the world
Believers are to be consume
with marital things with
laboring for material things in
order to beatify themselves
with much artificial and
superficial
covering of appearance
They are to labor after GOD
and his righteousness, letting
their natural beauty shine
forth, trusting GOD to
provide “All these things”
LILLIE DIE -from the weather,
they drop to the ground,
decay, pass out of existence,
and are gone forever,
CLOTHING- Fade, wears out,
goes out of fashion, and is
laid down, clothing just cease
to exist, but not man
BUT MAN- But man unlike
the lilies and clothing’s, man
is immortal; he exists forever,
therefore, he is to center his
life on GOD and his
righteousness not on
material things on material
possession, physical beauty
and clothing.
GOD will provide necessary
clothing to person who
diligently goes about life
putting his priorities in order:
seeking GOD and his
righteousness
Man is as the lilies of the
filed: here to day and gone
tomorrow, there is little
time; he dose not have time
to become entangled with
worldly affairs, he must be
seeking first the kingdom of
GOD and his righteousness
It is foolish to focus one’s life
life and body on beauty and
nice clothing, while
abandoning the Kingdom of
GOD and His righteousness
WORLDLY WORRY AND
ANXIETY
JESUS CHRIST says, Do not
worry, do not be thinking and
talking about food, drink and
clothing because the believer
is different from the
unbeliever, the worldly
people, for they run after all
this things, do not of belike
them, for the true believer is
to be different.
*Those who follow after
such are lost and wrapped up
in the world and things of the
world, they know nothing
else, all they know is seeking
and securing all they can of
what the world has to offer,
they seek the good life that
come from possession, life to
them is : house, money, food,
cars, television, building,
recreation, property- All
materials of the word, that
gives comfort, pride, power,
fame and recognition
*For this purpose, the
unbeliever is stranger and
foreigner to the things of
GOD, they have nothing to
seek thing of the world.
FIRST SEEK THE KINGDOM
OF GOD AND HIS
RIGHTEOUSNESS
DO not worry but seek the
kingdom of GOD and his
righteousness, by seeking
means to desire, to go after ,
to strive,; to pursue, to aim,
at; to search for; to endeavor
to get.
*The believer’s life is not to
be preoccupied with material
things, as necessary the
believer is First of all to be
seeking after the kingdom of
*GOD and his righteousness,
he to seek an become
citizens of GOD’S kingdom ,
and to encourage other,
them to be come a citizen of
GOD’S kingdom , this is the
first pursuit in life.
