laden with iniquity, a seed of
evil doers, children that are
corrupters: they have
forsaken the LORD, they have
provoked the Holy One of
Israel unto anger, they are
gone away backward

AH SINFUL NATION A
PEOPLE LADEN WITH
INIQUITY
AH: It implies both wonders,
and anger and grief, and
shame, that they were such.
The Lamentation over their
wickedness, a nation called
to be Holy, but sunk in sin
and wickedness, their
condition is almost hopeless;
the corruption pertained to
the nation, not nearly part
but had become general, to
be heavy with guilt there are
oppressed and borne down
with the weight of their sin,
but with the guilt and
bondage of sin .
They multiplied offense,
they are heavy with them
A SEED OF EVILDOERS
CHILDREN THAT ARE
CORRUPTED
They have degenerated to a
wicked generation of men
children that are corrupters:
of themselves and others by
their words and action: who
had corrupted their ways, an
evil doing seed, the children
of wicked parents, whose
guilt they inherit, and whose
evil example they follow

LORD: they neglected the
hearing of the word of GOD
and worship strange gods,

he was a righteous man who
feared GOD and looked for a
sincere effort to walk with
GOD, Noah wasa preacher of
righteousness and Noah

7) The likeness of the sun,
moon, stars or any of the
host of heaven
These the pagan made Idols
and worshipped them as
their gods
LEST YOU CORRUPT
YOURSELVES
For worship or for the
representation of GOD in a
corrupt manner by falling
into idolatry, which is
abominable to GOD lest you
corrupt yourselves and make
the things, graven image ,
which GOD prohibited
people still wanted the
familiar gods they could see
and shape into image they
desired and image or
representation to be made
for the purpose of worship,
make a graven image in the

similitude of any figure or
idea of which they had
formed in their minds
We must remember that idol
worship was not just keeping
statues around the house
harmless limp of clay, wood,
or iron, it is the commitment
to the other evil principle and
practice, the Idol represent,
Mammon worship,
covetousness, craving and
lusting after the desire of the
flesh

THEY RETURN CORRUPTED

The generation of Joshua
knew the LORD, they are
generation who first
inherited the promise land
they were faithful in obeying
GOD, and when the LORD
raised them up as Judges and
delivered them out of the
hand of their enemies all the
day of the Judges because
the LORD had compassion on
them, but the generation
after the Judges , failed to
follow GOD they turned away
from GOD and began a cycle
of compromise, of worldly,
carnal failure, wickedness,
greater backslidings ,
hardness of heart
characterized their
successive regime , they
turned and acted more
corruptly than their fathers,
turning again to Idolatry
more grievous than their
father has done under
previous Judges.

serve them, and to bow
down unto them and
increased their sacrifice and
act of devotion to them, they
were bent upon and
determined to continue in
the hard way which their
heart has chosen they
obstinately persisted in,
being stiff-necked and ceased
not from their stubborn way

called, because it was
abominable and made them
abominable to GOD.

CORRUPTION
It is called Mount of
Corruption because of the
idolatries connected with it,
there Solomon had
promoted the idol worship of
his wives, the idolatry and
corrupt worship performed
in it, for the gross idolatry
there practiced, which is
often expressed by the name

deny their maker and have

flesh had done in old world,
they work in so abominably
as to deny their maker.

which are offspring of desire
of deceit , expresses the
steady advance of the inward
process of decay and
deterioration , which is
always a life subordinated to
these desires, always to be

CORRUPTION OF THIS
WORLD
The corruption that are
prevalent in the world
through lust under the power
and dominion of which the
relies on and follow after,
particularly the sin of
sodomy, incest, adulatory
and like filthy and unnatural
lusts, which are abound in
the world, which leads to
destruction, to which the
greatest part of the world is
detestable though lust, all
the wickedness of human
nature which reign and
predominate in the world,
through worldly men, which
is the spring and root from it
proceeds
The precious promises, being
graciously bestowed and
powerfully applied, have and
influence on purity of the
heart and conversion, and
teach men to deny
ungodliness and worldly
lusts, and to live soberly,
righteously and godly; such
are powerful effect of
promise of the Gospel under
divine influence, as to make
man inwardly partakers of
divine nature and avoid
dominant corruption and vice
of this times

The false teachers with
great swelling words, who
profess to be strangers of
freedom, are bond under the
power of the yoke of sin as
the slaves of gross and
corrupt desire, these lusts
and craving appetites have
obtained the entire control
over them and brought them
into the cruelest bondage of
corruption
Sin which has corrupted all
mankind in soul and body
and the lust uncleanness,
which these men themselves
walked in and in which they
not only corrupted
themselves, but the good
conduct others and tender to
lead them to destruction and
ruin
