THE GREAT
COMMANDMENT
36) Master, which is the
great commandment in the
law?
37) JESUS said unto him,
thou shalt love the LORD thy
GOD with all they Heart, And
with all thy soul, and with all
thy mind
38) This is the first and great
commandment
39) And the second is like
unto it, thou shalt love thy
neighbor as thy self
40) On these two
commandments hang all the
law and the prophets

THE GREAT AND THE FIRST
COMMANDMENT:
Loving GOD is an act that is
alive and active, we must
love GOD with all our –
Heart, soul mind and
strength.
*Loving relationship involves
commitment and loyalty
*Loving relationship involves
trust and respect
* Loving relationship involves
giving and surrendering
oneself to GOD
*Loving Relationship involves
knowing, learning, working
and serving GOD so closely
LOVING YOUR NEIGHBOR
AND YOURSELF:
*Considers other better than
yourself, do not esteem self,
but considers others more
highly
* Is a command not an
option

28) And one of the scribes
came, and having heard
them reasoning together,
and perceiving that he had
answered them well, asked
him, which is the first
commandment of all
29) And JESUS answered
him, the first of all the
commandments is Hear, O
Israel; the LORD our GOD is
one LORD
30) And thou shalt love the
LORD thy GOD with all thy
heart and with all thy soul,
and with all thy mind, and
with all thy strength this is
the first commandment
31)And the second is like,
namely this, thou shalt love
thy neighbor as thyself, there
is none other commandment
greater than these
32) And the scribe said unto
him, well, master, thou hast
said the truth: for there is
one GOD; and there is one
other but he;
33) And to love him with all
the heart, and with all the
understanding, and with all
the soul and with all the
strength, and to love his
neighbor as himself, is more
than all whole burnt offerings
and sacrifice
34) And when JESUS saw
that he answered discreetly,
he said unto him, thou art
not far from the kingdom of
GOD, and no man after durst
ask him any question

LOVE GOD WITH:
With all thy heart, and with
all thy soul, and with all thy
mind
*That is with all the powers
and faculties of the soul or
with the affections, as under
the influence and guidance of
more noble faculties of the
soul, the mind
This commands our
intellectual nature and
emotional nature
All the fullest exercise of an
enlightened reason
WITH ALL THY MIGHT: That
is, with the greatest
vehemence of affection, in
the strongest expression of
it, and with all strength of
grace a man has
LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THY
SELF to love our neighbor is
not and option but a
commandment and if the
commandment is not obey
GOD is not please and we
stand guilty of having broken
the law of GOD
WHO IS MY NEIGHBOR
*A good neighbor is the one
who show mercy on any one
who need mercy
*Everyone in the world
needs mercy, therefore our
neighbor is any one who
need mercy no mater who he
is, or circumstance

39) JESUS CHRIST GIVE
ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH
DILIGENTLY KEEPING HIS
WORD AND
Only JESUS CHRIST can give
eternal life
* A person receive eternal
life by loving JESUS , keeping
his commandments,
believing and giving his life
and heart to JESUS CHRIST
*That life is to be obtained in
JESUS CHRIST, he is the way,
the truth and the life and he
only can save us
*That, we must come to him
according to the appointed
way as a lost sinner and be
willing to be saved by him
only
42) MAN HAVE NO LOVE OF
GOD BUT SEEK APPROVAL
OF MEN
*The first and great
commandments is you shall
love the LORD your GOD with
all your heart and with all
your soul and with all your
might and it shall be on your
heart
NOT THE LOVE OF GOD
You pretend a great deal of
religion, and do many evil
things cheating, stealing in
the name of GOD, laying
heavy burdens on man’s
shoulders, devouring
widows house instituting
Man’s doctrine and
commandments love the
praise and honor of man in
all your activities instead of
honoring GOD and his
Commandments

Commandments, so as to
receive the indwelling of the
Holy spirit
* If a person truly love JESUS
is conditional to keep his
commandment, that is when
a person is given the Holy
SPIRIT
*The Holy Spirit abide in a
believer forever.

They believe on JESUS, that
he is who he claims to be the
true messiah
But failed to confess him for
fear of:
*They will be
excommunicated from the
Synagogue due to their
position, job, authority,
recognition, honor,
profession and security
* They failed because they
love the praise of men, they
would rather be accepted
and approved by man than to
be accepted and approved by
GOD

JUDGE US AT THE LAST DAY
The unbeliever is not judged
by JESUS CHRIST, CHRIST
come to save the world, not
to judge it
*The unbeliever is judged by
the words of salvation, the
very words which men
rejects, will stand as witness
against them.
The unbeliever rejects the
word of salvation, so they
will be his judge
*The unbeliever is
condemns and Judges
himself, because in the last
days when the man stand
before GOD, the words of
salvation will not be found in
him

universal diligence, steady
and constant obedience to
the words
MANIFEST OF THE HOLY
SPIRIT
It means his presence, is
revealed , illuminated
quickened in the life of the
believer
