ROMANS 2:13
|
13) For not the hearers of
the law are just before GOD,
but the doers of the Law shall
be justified
|
FOR NOT THE HEARER OF
THE LAW ARE JUST BEFORE
GOD BUT THE DOER OF THE
LAW
For the hearer of the law are
not just before GOD, that is
hearing without doing it or
obedience to the word of
GOD
But the doers of the law,
shall be justified; by whom
are meant, not such who
merely literally and
externally fulfil the law, for
the law is spiritual and
inward, which requires
internal holiness, as well as
external obedience.
To know and learn the law
was not sufficient, unless in
all things they yield
obedience to it, and hearing
without doing is not justify in
the eyes of GOD.

DOING THE WILL OF GOD
NOT WITH EYE SERVICE
Not merely having respect to
your master’s presence
That is not with service

AS MAN PLEASERS: As if it
were main object to please
people, The object should be
to please and honor GOD,
such as make it their only
business to please their
master, right or wrong, and
even though they offend
GOD
DOING THE WILL OF GOD
FROM THE HEART
That is , GOD requires
industry, submission,
obedience, trustworthiness

To do the will of GOD is the
necessary condition for
receiving the promise and
reward, not merely having to
be a believer in CHRIST, but
also the steadfast
continuation in faith unto the
end
That having believe GOD’S
promises, obeyed his
teachings, endured his trials
and continued in all,
according to the good
acceptable, and perfect will
of GOD

heavenly wisdom, that

true knowledge of GOD,
since to know him is eternal
life, let him ask for it faith, in
all purity of intention, for the
horn and service of GOD it
shall be given him, the
eternal fountain of wisdom,
as well as of redemption and
grace, in all prudence and of
his Son JESUS CHRIST, who is
the wisdom of GOD
UPBRAIDED NOT
He gives to the humble ,
without upbraiding him with
past sin , ingratitude or
transgression, with former
misconduct or his former
kindnesses suggesting he
had given already
encouraging to go to GOD for
wisdom it is JESUS CHRIST

DOERS OF THE WORD OF
GOD
We are then doers of the
word, when, being
enlightened by his doctrines,
and encourage by his
promises, by receiving the
word of faith in your heart
They are such, who spiritually
understand it; gladly receive
it, and from the heart obey it,
and make a sincere and
imaginative profession of it;
and submit to the law direct
to, and keep them as they
have been delivered; and
live, and walk it them

the will of GOD

THAT HE NO LONGER
SHOULD LIVE IN THE FLESH
That is, he has become,
through the death of JESUS

not to live in the lust of the
flesh
But to the will of GOD- In
such a manner as GOD
command, The holy will of
GOD revealed to us in his
law, which is the rule by
which we are to walk, in
opposition to the lust of men

MY FOOD TO DO THE WILL
OF THE FATHER AND FINISH

That which satisfies my
strongest desire, and

Not my will but the will of the
FATHER who sent me and
finishing his work
And to finish his work; one
part of which was to preach
the Gospel, and for, which he
was anointed and sent and
which he with great diligence
and consistency and another
part of it is to convert sinners
by it whom he sent to call

COMMANDMENT
A new encouragement is to
keep his commandment is
proof of our love to JESUS
CHRIST.
IF YOU LOVE ME: No not
show your love by grief at
JESUS departure merely but
by obedience
KEEP MY COMMANDMENT
This is the only proper
evidence of love to JESUS, for
mere profession is no proof
of love; but the love of him
that leads to his will , to love
each other, to deny self and
take up our cross and follow
him

commandments as a means,

servants; for the servant
knoweth not what his LORD
doeth- The salve may see
what his LORD does, but he
does not know his purpose
and act and now there are
friends.
The character of JESUS
friends belong to those who
love him believe in him, and
obey him to whom he
showed himself friendly, by
laying down his life for them
Friends means those who
JESUS CHRIST love and those
who love him is conditioned
of their doing whatsoever he
commands them

HE THAT SAITH I KNOW HIM
AND KEEP NOT HIS
COMMANDMENT
He who professes to be a
acquainted with JESUS
CHRIST and a
believer/Christian and keep
not his commandments
those that do not obey him
is a liar
IS A LIAR
Makes a false profession is a
falsehood, because there can
be no true religion where
one does not obey the law of
GOD
He that saith I know him
GOD or JESUS CHRIST, who
pretended to even the
perfected, knowledge of
divine things and keep no
this commandments, which is
above the persons had not
regards is a liar, he contradict
what he says and betrays his
ignorance and no truth is
found in him
BUT WHOSO KEEP HIS
WORD_ That is he JESUS has
spoken or commanded, the
“WORD” Include all that he
has made known to us as his
will with regards to our
conduct

17) And the world passeth
away, and the lust thereof:
but he that doeth the will of
GOD abideth for ever
|
BUT HE THAT DO THE WILL
OF GOD ABIDES FOREVER
THE WORLD AND THE LUST
VANISH AWAY:
The lust which the world
exhibits the sinful nature,
greed , falsehood, mammon
cannot endure but already in
dissolution:
Kingdoms, cites, town,
houses, families, estate,
possessions are continually
changing, the riches and
honors of the world are
fading away perishing and
transitory things nothing is
permanent and the lust is
passed away and the object
of love is feeling.
THE WILL OF GOD
This is the exact opposite of
all that is in the world
