YOU ARE THE SALT OF
THE EARTH
You are the salt of the
earth, through the grace
of GOD bestowed on the
believer, the believer is
called to preserve the
earth from moral
rottenness and decay,
believer such as salt, are
to cleanse and preserve
the world, salt is
distinctive, it is totally
different from the food or
object upon which it is
put, the power of salt lies
in this difference,
believers, just as salt, are
to be different from the
world, they are to keep
themselves from being
polluted by the world,
they are to penetrate the
world and insert a new
life into it, salt is available
to give flavor and to
preserve it from
corruption , salt render
food pleasant and
palatable,, and preserves
from rotting , the power
which counteracts
corruption, appointed to
be the means of
preventing or curing the
growth of that
corruption, the character
and principles of the
believers are to so flavor 3
and influence the world
for CHRIST , they are
brought into close
contact with the world,
they are designed to
arrest the decaying of
corruption of humanity
and season its, dullness
and lust, which prevails
in the world, hence
believers by their lives
and instruction, are to
keep the world from
entire moral corruption,
by their influence and
example, they save the
world from universal vice
and crime, must be godly
examples in the world
and must resist the moral
decay and corruption
evident in society, he is
destine by the
communicating of the
Divine truth, moral
soundness and power of
life and the oppose of
Spiritual corruption, false
doctrine of fake teacher,
salt bring out the best
flavor in food
WHEREWITH SHALL IT BE
SALTED TO BE TRODDEN
UNDER FOOT OF MEN
but if the salt the
believer has lost his
purpose, if they become
lukewarm, quench the
power of the Holy Spirit
and cease to resist the
prevailing spirit in the
world, how can it be
made salty? It is no longer
good for anything, they
will be destroyed by the
ways and lust of the
ungodly society, but to
   
be thrown out and
walked on by the wicked
and evil people, if a
believer makes no effort
to affect the world
around them they are of
little value to GOD, if a
believer is too much like
the world, the believer is
worthless the, believer is
not to blend with
everyone else, instead,
they should affect others
positively, just as
If the gifts, graces,
blessing, a high calling
fails, what remains for the
believer

Everyone there is no
limitation the good and
the evil shall be judged
“Salted with fire” the fire
shall try every man’s work
of what sort it is of,

Salt and fire have
properties in common,
salt, like is refined
penetrates all that is
corruptible, and
separates that which is
sound, fire here denotes,
fire destroys that which is
perishable, and thereby
establishes the purest
perfection, leads to new
and more beautiful forms
of being, which affects a
kind of transformation
EVERY SACRIFICE SHALL
BE SALTED WITH SALT,
Every sacrifice was
offered with salt as a
symbol of preservation, 5
(LEV. 2:13), so here salt is
mentioned with
reference to the idea
that the everlasting fire is
not only unquenchable
fire, but will have the
property of making
whatever is in it
inconsumable like itself,
every sinner will be salted
with the fire of Hell, like
every sacrifice was salted
with salt, as Divine
justice to eternal
regeneration that will be
born in the new heaven
and new earth (ISAIAH
66:24)
self-denial, sacrifice,
trails, in keeping
ourselves from the
gratification of the flesh,
making ourselves a living
sacrifice holy and
acceptable to GOD
ROMANS 12:1 as a living
sacrifice, shall be salted
with salt, with the salt of
Divine grace, which
purifies the soul, though
frequently with pain and
preserves it from
corruption, so the
believers are devoted to
GOD, we make ourselves
a living sacrifice, we are
offering to GOD in His
service, to make us
acceptable , everything
must be done to preserve
us from sin, and to purify
us, through self-denial
subduing the lusts,
enduring trails ,every
person who offers himself
unto GOD in repentance,
faith and obedience
   
By his entering upon a
course of self-denial and
renunciation of his sin,
and so submitting to the
purifying fire, preserving
in the service of GOD,
doing it , and will not be
lost eternally
SALT IS GOOD
To make food appetizing,
and keep flesh from
corrupting; and so is the
grace of GOD, to season
men’s hearts, make their
discourse savory and
preserve them from
corruption of sin, and so
men made partaker of
the grace of GOD; they
are good and useful to
others,, both by their
words and actions, and
especially of preaching
and teaching the Gospel ,
who are the Salt of the
earth, JESUS used salt to
illustrate qualities, the
Salt cleanses, arrest
corruption, which
impends over the dead
masses, sweetens and
purifies, and so preserves
from decay and
dissolution, it stands as
an emblem of the
cleansing , it should be
found in people , we
should make a difference
in the flavor of the world
we live in, just as salt
change food flavor,
believers should
counteract the moral
decay in society , just as
salt preserves food from
decay.7
Salt operates, applies
and penetrates:
ON WHICH IT OPERATES
This is its individual
application comes to the
affirmation of sinful
tendency and actual sin
as having its seat and root
in all our souls, so that
the present condition is
corruption, and the
future issue is destruction
THE APPLICATION AND
CLEANSING
In salt we may include
the whole divine energy;
the word of GOD, CHRIST
and Holy Spirit, so the
intention of the Gospel is
mainly to make clean,
THE PENETRATION
The inward penetration,
that the great peculiarity
of the believer, is that the
inner life is dealt with
first, the will of the heart,
we must have in
ourselves the preserving,
purifying, principle
always, the principle of
denying ourselves, of
suppressing pride,
ambition, contention,
lust, greed selfishness ,
covetousness,
when we believer loose
the desire to “SALT” the
earth with love and the
message of GOD, we
believers become useless
HAVE PEACE
The believer is to be the
salt to season others,
they themselves should
first be had to be first
salted with gracious
habits of knowledge,
   
faith, the doctrine of
grace, and word of
CHRIST, holiness of heart
and life, love fear of GOD,
restrain from contention,
and quarreling, struggling
for places, honors, and
office, and seek each
other’s welfare, salt is the
emblem of firm union,
concord, agreement
hence covenant of peace
is called a covenant of
Salt NUMBERS 18:19

is that the Messiah came
to bring peace on earth,
he brought peace with
GOD to man’s heart and

man’s life, but CHRIST
brought not only peace
but fire on earth that is
judgment, who will bring
of the chaff with
unquenchable fire , for
judgment to those who
refuse to accept Him.
The fire which He came
to send, is the fore of
judgment , the baptism of
fire which shall purify and
cleanse as well destroy ,
for the fire is beneficial as 
well as punishing; it
warms and purifies as
well as consumes

desire, this does not
mean that we must reject
what we have, but that all
that we have must be
placed at CHRIST’S and
under His guidance and
service, we must be ready

SALT IS GOOD:
Salt is good, it is useful, it
is good to preserve life
and health, and to keep
from corruption or decay,
salt stands for the spirit of
self-sacrifice, self
renunciation, self-denial
BUT IF THE SALT HAVE
LOST HIS SAVOUR
When in a man ,or in a
nation and a church, that
salt is savorless, then that
Spirit is dead; the savor,
his saltness, it becames
tasteless that means no 10
hope for that person, the
people of the nation or
the church, a man must
have the salt of
discipleship which is self
denial, sacrifice, ransom
life and giving an,
halfhearted choice is
worthless, it cannot
season or penetrate; it
cannot help anything or
anyone, he is to be cast
out, Salt that is worthless
and useless is always
thrown out, for it is good
for nothing
HE THAT HATH EARS TO
HEAR, LET HIM HEAR
He that hath ears, you
are to understand that he
that has not the grace in
his heart, who merely
makes a profession of
religion, and who sustains
by rituals, rules
regulations and
ceremonies, is useless
and will be rejected
A man with ears needs
to hear the invitation,
hearing Spiritual truth is a
choice which a man must
make, he chooses
whether to hear or not to
hear the truth

are truly transformed,
the word rendered not to
“conformed” means not
to put on the form,,
fashion or appearance or
habit, manner character,
the corrupt principle,
customs, living, styles,
dress etc., of others of
this world, the world
which is commonly
referred as the Material
universe, thus, here it
may mean believers
should not conform to
the pattern , habits,
feelings, of a wicked,
luxurious, and idolatrous
age, put an end or
fashioning yourselves to
this world, believers
must learn to yield their
whole self to GOD he
must be transformed and
changed inwardly , his
real self, his real nature,
essence, personality,
inner being must be
changed, and not to be
any longer with its value
and customs of this
world, which, neglecting
the will of GOD, entirely
follows its own;
BE YE TRANSFORMED BY
THE RENEWING OF YOUR
MIND
The believer renewed his
mind, the believers mind
is to be renewed , which
means to be made new,
readjust ,changed, turned
around, regenerated, the
mind of man is affected
has been affected by sin,
is basically worldly that is,
Selfish, self-centered, 12
self-seeking, centered on
the material world,
centered on the flesh and
centered on this life, man
mind is tragically
corrupted by man’s
selfishness and sin, not to
follow the god of this
world Satan, not to follow
the fashion, the evil
desires and lust of the
world, not to follow after
the deceitful wealth of
this world, not to live in
pleasure on earth, not to
follow the crowd, not to
follow the false security
of the world.
Man’s mind has become
corrupt, wicked and evil,
Man’s mind has become
unspiritual, carnal and
hostile to GOD, man’s
mind is empty and
become focused upon
earthly things, Man’s
mind has become
alienated from GOD and
an enemy to GOD, man’s
mind has become
unspiritual, fleshly, Man’s
mind has become
corrupted, defiled
But be transformed
regenerated and created
anew person in CHRIST
by the influence of the
Holy Spirit and
progressively changed as
you mature spiritually, by
the renewing of your
mind, focusing on godly
values and ethical
attitudes, but should
conformed solely to the
precept and laws of the
gospel to fashion their
   
lives after the example of
CHRIST , the believers
mind and image are
renewed as he receives
JESUS CHRIST into his life,
he receives the image and
mind of JESUS CHRIST as
well, CHRIST through the
Holy Spirit change the
mind of the believer to
focus on to GOD, the
believer’s mind and
image are renewed,
changed, upon the world,
they are now centered on
Spiritual matters, the
believer’s mind and
image are renewed,
changed, turned around,
and regenerated to focus
upon GOD, he is to love
GOD with all his mind, the
believer is to keep his
mind upon Spiritual
things, not unspiritual,
carnal things, the believer
is not to gratify the
cravings of his sinful
nature, his sinful desires
and thoughts, the
believer is not to lives,
the way the world lives, in
the futility of their
thinking, the believer is to
let the mind of CHRIST be
in him by walking humbly
before GOD and men
THAT YOU MAY PROVE
OF GOD
The believer must
approve the will of GOD,
that is to follow GOD’S
will, may be enabled to
discern, approve, and
know, so that you may
prove for yourselves what
the will of GOD is to 14

Keep at the utmost
distance from every
person and things
whereby you might be
drawn into evil,
wickedness and contract

If we separate ourselves
and consecrate our lives
to GOD, GOD will become
our FATHER and adopt us
as son and daughters of

from an idolatrous and
wicked world, believers

a distance from wicked
and immoral persons who
are worldly, believer are
not to live like sinners of
the world , they bare not

worshiper of idols, the

received by GOD, and
recognized as his
children, depended on
their coming out from the
world, believers are not
of the world, they are

which means he does not
live according to the

principle of grace; a new,

workmanship created in
CHRIST JESUS unto good
works, which, which GOD

CREATED IN CHRIST
We are GOD’S
workmanship, created in
CHRIST JESUS, for we
believers are His
workmanship His own
master work, a work
created in CHRIST JESUS
reborn from above
Spiritually transformed,
renewed, that means that
GOD quickens the Spirit
of the believer and make
his Spirit alive, whereas
the believer’s Spirit was
dead to GOD, GOD
creates it anew and
makes it alive to GOD,
which means GOD place
the heart of Divine nature
into the heart of the
believer, it means that
GOD actually makes a
new creation of the
believer, it means that
GOD renews the believers
by the Holy Spirit, ready20
to be used , for good
works, we are created to
do good works, GOD
saves man for good
works, the believer is
GOD’S masterpiece, GOD
has prepared in advance
for us to walk in good
works, doing good work is
the very nature of
believers, if a man has
been created in CHRIST, if
GOD has truly worked in
him, the man does good
works, his very nature
dictates it, he cannot do
without it, the believer
just shows that he is
GOD’S workmanship by
the life he lives and
displays, work are
evidence of salvation.
GOD prepared for us
beforehand taking part,
which he set, so we
would walk in them living
the good life which He
prearranged and made
ready for us

new man, which after GOD
is created in righteousness

THE NEW MAN
The new man is called
new creature, or new
creation, regenerated ,
renewed, born again who
has become Spiritually
minded, is a new person
or self-created by CHRIST;
he has been given a holy
nature and incorruptible
life, which is refers to the
condition after the heart
is changed, he now have
new feelings, principles,
and desires, believers are
to present themselves as 21
example, we are to live
full of light, the new man
is created after the image
of GOD, that is of course,
according to or in the
likeness of GOD, he must
have laid aside his old
ways, principles, and
practices, and in
everything concerning
moral character, he is
new, his body is indeed
the same; but there is a
regeneration of the heart
through the Holy Spirit
WHICH AFTER GOD IS
CREATED IN
RIGHTEOUSNESS
He has been given a holy
nature and incorruptible
life, JESUS CHRIST makes
a new man entirely, a
creation by the power of
GOD, when a person
believes in JESUS CHRIST,
really entrusts his life
into the hand of CHRIST,
GOD creates the Spirit of
the person in
righteousness and true
holiness , GOD takes the
person’s faith and credit
as perfect righteousness
and Holiness of JESUS
CHRIST, therefore, the
person stands before
GOD in the righteousness
and holiness of JESUS
CHRIST, GOD quickens or
make the Spirit of the
believer alive, whereas
the believer’s Spirit was
dead to GOD, now is
created and it makes it
alive to GOD, GOD causes
the believer to be born
again Spiritually, GOD 
actually place His Divine
nature into the heart of
the believer , GOD
renews the believer by
the Holy Spirit
COLOSSIAN 3:10
10)And have out on the
new man, which is renewed
in knowledge after the
image of that created Him
AND HAVE OUT ON THE
NEW MAN,
It is said the new man is
created after GOD in
righteousness and true
knowledge of GOD, as
respects His knowledge
of the regeneration to be
attained and increasing
penetration into Divine
truth, being savingly
enlightened, and the will
powerfully inclined by the
victorious working of the
Spirit, which is renewed
in knowledge after the
image of Him that
created him, the new
man’s is not man work for
the outward man decays
in soul and fallen , but the
new man is of GOD’S and
is made not after the
image of the first man
Adam, but after the
image of CHRIST, to which
the believer are
foreordained
COLOSSIAN 4:6
6) Let your speech be
always with grace, seasoned
with salt that ye may know
ye ought to answer
LET YOUR SPEECH
ALWAYS WITH GRACE
A believer’s speech must
be pleasant, kind and
gracious, he must speak
always with grace,
answering and sharing
what it is that makes your
life different, what an
expectation GOD has for
us; to be living a life
different and righteous 
that men ask us what it is
that make us so
different, it must be a
language that result from
the operation of the
grace of GOD in our heart
and speaks the truth in
love, seasoned with “salt”
means ,conversation that
is appropriate for the
moment , pleasant , and
acceptable sound speech
which cannot be
condemned, marked by
purity and not corruption,
graceful speech, however
does not rule out fervent
and stern words, when
necessary , as when
rebuke false
teacher/religionist who
are the enemy of the
cross GALATIANS 1:9
When we walk among
unbelievers, we are to
guard our speech and
conversation we are to
speak with grace, that is
with kindness, courtesy
and graciousness, to
season our conversation
with salt; that is we are to
flavor and turn the
conversation to tasteful
and away from corruption
