17)Therefore to him that
knoweth to do good, and
doeth it not, to him it is sin
THEREFORE IF A MAN
KNOWS TO DO GOOD
Therefore to him that
knoweth to do good, and
doeth it not, to him it is a
sin, that is he is guilty of sin
if he does not do good, the
duty of a believer is to do
good to others, to promote
a good cause , if he can
consistently with other
duties, relieve the
distressed, the ravaged
poor, the highest privilege
conferred on a believer,
besides that of securing
salvation of his own soul,, is
that of doing good to others
of alleviating sorrow,
delivering the wronged and
oppressed, suppling the
wants of the needy, guiding
the lost to the truth of the
Gospel and sending liberty,
knowledge, and salvation
around the world, when we
know to do good and refuse
to do it, it is sin
IF A MAN DOES NOT DO IT
If a man does not do this
when he has the means, he
sins against his own soul,
against humanity, and
against GOD,: if the good is
not done cheerfully and to
the extent of his means, it is
greater sin, it is an
aggravated , but much
wicked in a man that knows
what is right and good, and
ought to be done, and does
it not and it sin
JAMES 2:15-16
15)If a brother or sister be
naked, and destitute of daily
food
16)And one of you say unto
them, depart, in peace, be
ye warmed and filled;
notwithstanding ye gave
them not those things
which are needful to the
body what doth it profit?
IF A BROTHER OR A SISTER
BE NAKED
The sense is that faith in
itself, without the acts that
correspond to it, and to
which it would prompt, it is
heartless and useless, in
the case of one who was
hungry or naked, what he
wanted was not good
wishes and kind words, but
corresponding action,
brother or sister faces some
need or problem that makes
him or her destitute, they
are unable to properly
dress themselves and
secure daily food ,we see
them and share the word of
comfort with them, we
speak peace ,but this is not
enough, what good is to
give them what they need,
the point is that faith , if it
does not do good works, is
dead, true faith loves and
cares and is compassionate
and reaches out to help the
needy, a person cannot talk
of being in CHRIST until, he
reach out and helping the
destitute of the world just
like JESUS did, such person’s
faith is dead.
No person who really
believes in JESUS CHRIST
unless he is following the
works of love, mercy,
compassion and
righteousness, which
CHRIST did, true faith is an
operative faith, a faith that
really works, if we really
believes in CHRIST JESUS
we will follow HIM, we will
take all that we are and
have beyond our own needs
and give it to meet the
needs of destitutes, who are
ravaged throughout the
world.

then he will have to spend

2 PETER 2:4
this is a description of the
last judgment, the judgment
to come, in which every
man shall be sentenced to a
state of everlasting
destruction of life eternal,
everlasting happiness,, the
wicked and the godly here 5
dwell together, in the same
cities, churches , families,
and are not always to be
known the one from the
other; such are the
hypocrisy of sinners; and
the death takes both; but in
that day they will be parted
forever, JESUS CHRIST is the
great Shepherd ; he will
shortly distinguish between
those that are HIS, and
those that are not.
The judgment will be two
fold, the goats will be cut off
and separated from GOD,
the goat rejected CHRIST,
failed to minister, they fail
to help the hungry, the
thirsty, the stranger, the
naked, the sick, and the
prisoner, they are persons
who do not become
involved in meeting the
needs of the poor and
needy, they are persons
who do not dedicate
themselves to meet the
desperate needs of a
corrupt world, the goats
lived a selfish life, the goats
are people who live a life of
comfort and ease, a life of
no concern and care, a life
of materialism and things, a
life of pleasure , a life of
money and plenty, they
live selfishly while the world
around them is suffering
with hunger and sickness
and death
The goats are spiritually
blind, the goat are
unbelievers who refuse to
see the truth about CHRIST
that he identifies himself
with the suffering masses,

with the pain and needs of
the ravaging poor, they
refuse to see the hungry,
the thirsty, the stranger, the
naked, the sick, the
prisoner, they refuse to see
that they are failing to help
CHRIST when they fail to
help the needy and poor,
they did not take the poor
member of CHRIST into
their houses, and take care
of them, when they were
obliged to flee from their
places of dwelling, or
wandered in the street, they
are called Christians, or
wandered about preaching
the Gospel: had not been
compassionate of the
naked, the sick, without
clothes, and you visited me
not: their conduct,
behavior, and character, are
just the reverse of the
righteous
JESUS CHRIST says to the
goats, Depart from me, the
goat are not condemned for
what they did, but for what
the did not do, their sin was
the sin of omission,
commission, how terrible
the sin is, how many
ravaged poor and needy
were left suffering because
the goats did not help them:
Selfishness, extravagance,
heading, covetousness,
fraud, pride, self
centeredness, will stand
against him at the day of
judgment he neglect to do
what they should have done
the striking deference
between goat and sheep:7
v
The sheep heard come;
the goat heard depart,
v
The sheep are called
blessed; the goat are
called cursed,
v
The sheep are invited to
inherit the kingdom; the
goat are cursed
v
The sheep receive a
kingdom: the goat
receive eternal fire,
v
The sheep dwell in the
place prepared for the
believers, the righteous ;
the goat dwell in a place
prepared for the devil
and the angels,
v
The sheep spend
eternity with GOD and
the goat spend eternity
with the devils and his
rebellious angels
Men who choose to follow
the devil in his evil ways are
choosing to be with the
devil, the judgment is for
eternity , they go away into
eternal punishment, there is
no second chance; the
judgment is unchangeable
The righteous will go into
eternal life, such as are
justified by the
righteousness of JESUS
CHRIST, and who, though
they have done works of
righteousness under the
influence, and by the
assistance of the grace of
GOD and depended upon
CHRIST for salvation and
Life eternal, which is also
permanent and
unchangeable, the sheep
will live their life never
ending in the presence of
GOD, for these shall go into 8
heaven, the place prepared
for them, to enjoy eternal
life, which is a free gift of
GOD, through CHRIST .

16)Let your light so shine

LET YOUR LIGHT SO SHINE
BEFORE MEN THAT MAY
SEE YOUR GOOD WORKS
Let your light, the light of
that doctrine which you
have receive from me, be so
evident apparent unto men,
your pure conversation, and
your faithful instructions, be
everywhere seen and
known that they may see
your good works, the
believer should work to
glorify our heavenly
FATHER, the religionist,
false teacher acted to be
seen of men, true believer
act to glorify GOD, and care
little what people may think
of them, except by their
conduct others may be
brought to honor GOD,
good action will be seen,
and will lead people to
honor GOD, that they may
see your good works:
Meaning their zeal and
fervency, their sincerity,
faithfulness, integrity; their
courage, their diligence,
industry, their strict regards
to truth , and their very
great care and concern to
communicate the doctrine
of grace and glorify your
FATHER which is in heaven:
that is, when the
ministration of the Gospel
has been blessed, for the
illumination of minds of
men, to a thorough
conviction of their state; 9
and for their regeneration,
conversion, sanctification.
Believers are not to stir
men to glorify GOD, they
are not to be only in the
church, but move to dispel
darkness in the world.
MATTHEW 5:42
42)Give to him that asketh
thee, and from him that
would borrow of thee turn
not thou away
GIVE TO HIM THAT ASK OF
THEE
The believer is to be in the
habit of giving, it is the
great Christian ethic to
give, liberally to those who
are poor: who are never
able to repay us, we are to
give according to his ability
JESUS CHRIST a believer is
to help those who have
needs, he should be totally
helped, giving will always be
done with discretion
PSALMS 112:5 so as to give
to those who really in need.
AND HIM THAT WILL
BORROW OF THEE TURN
NOT AWAY
Believer to give to whom
who had need to ask, and in
other to which GOD had
directed, who had had
commanded us to provide
for our own household, the
rule must be interpreted so
as to be consistent with our
duty to our families
1 TIMOTHY 5:8 and its good
to give to a person who is
not able to work
2 THESSALONIANS 3:10 to
give to such person is to
encourage laziness, AND
support the idle at the
expense of the industrious,
those who are able to work
should look for work to 10
support the family and
those in need
EPHESIAN 4:28
If such one is indeed
hungry, feed him, if he
needs anything further, give
him, employment, if a
widow, an orphan, a man of
misfortune, or lame, or sick,
and you are able to help,
which within your means,
never send them away.
So this is true of a poor and
needy that wishes to
borrow, we are not to turn
them away or deny them , if
it is within means, this was
an ancient law of GOD
DEUTERONOMY 15:7-9,
confirmed by CHRIST, as a
piece of his will under the
Gospel
The believer does not live
for this earth and world, he
lives for GOD and for
heaven, his citizenship is in
heaven, any concern he has
for this world and it
possession is only for
meeting the necessities of
life and for helping others,
giving to other who are in
need, giving is to be done
personally for the glory of
GOD
LUKE 3:11
11)He answereth and saith
unto them, he that hath two
coats, let him impart to him
that have none; and he that
hath meat let him do
likewise
HE THAT HATH TWO COATS
LET HIM IMPART TO HIM
THAT HAVE NONE
The answer is that justice
and mercy should be
practice by all people, let
him that has honestly
acquire more than he
needs, impart to him that is
without, in other words,
share what you have with 11
those in need, give and aid
the poor according to your
ability; be benevolent,
whoever, idle or dishonest
person who have the ability
to work, are encourage to
work , if any man provide
not for his own he is worse
than infidel 1 TIMOTHY 5:8
idle and you will by this
show that your repentance
is real, we must help by
showing kindness, to those
in distress those who are
really in need , and are what
may be called love of our
neighbor, and which involve
the love of GOD,
HE THAT HATH TWO COATS
The believer was to love
and car enough to share his
material goods with those
who were in need, given
the basic necessities of life,
the given should be
sacrificial , the giver was to
love and care so much that
he will be grip with
compression and
unselfishness , such fruit will
be evidence of repentance
of a life truly changed, of a
man truly seeking GOD to
forgive his sins
LUKE 12:47-48
47)And that servant, which
knew his LORD’S will and
prepared not himself,
neither did according to his
will, shall be beaten with
many stripes
48) But he that knew not,
and did commit things
worthy of stripes, shall be
beaten with few stripes, for
unto whomsoever much is
given, of him shall he much
required; and to whom men
have committed much of
him they will ask the more
AND THAT SERVANT
WHICH KNEW HIS LORD
The believer who know his
master’s will that is what
GOD commands, his
revealed will; the will of
GOD, which lies in the
declaration of his mercy in
the Gospel, which are the
good, perfect, and
acceptable will of GOD,
requires him to do and did
not do it , in work deny all,
and by every good work
unfit, disobedience , and
reprobate, will be held
responsible for knowing
about the will of GOD and
did not do it, and shall be
severally and justly
punished , they who are
often warned, who have
the doctrine of JESUS
CHRIST, and do not repent ,
shall be far more severally
punished.
Reward and punishment,
the servant who knew the
lord’s will and did not
prepare himself, nor did he
do the will of the lord this
judgment is tragic, for he
knew GOD’S will, but
deliberately rejected it,
therefore, he will be beaten
with many blows, that is,
due much judgment and
punishment.
The men who did not know
the LORD’S will: therefore,
having the means of
knowing it, though neglect
of them, not attending to
them, and making use of
them ,they were not able to
prepare themselves and
comparatively have little
knowledge, and did not
commit things worthy of
stripes ; or punishment they
should have, nor were they
able to faithfully serve the
LORD, will suffer a
punishment proportionately
light, and it shall be more
tolerable for them in the
day of judgment, than for
those who knows and do
the will of GOD.13
For unto whomsoever
much is given, of him shall,
much be required, the more
knowledge a man has, the
more practice is expected
from him: and the greater
his gift are, the more useful
he ought to be and diligent
in the improvement of
them, and to whom much is
committed, the greater
increase and improvement
it is expected he should
make
LUKE 6:35-38
35)But love ye your
enemies, and do good, and
lend, hoping for nothing
again; and your reward shall
be great, and ye shall be the
children of the Highest; for
he is kind unto the thankful
and to the evil
36)Be ye therefore merciful,
as your FATHER also is
merciful
BUT LOVE YOUR ENEMIES
AND DO GOOD AND LEND
HOPING FOR NOTHING
But love that is, unselfish,
seeking the best or higher
good for your enemies, and
do good, and lend, and give
and lend according to the
law of CHRIST, and do not
let the absence of
immediate profit make you
lose heart and hope
expecting nothing in return;
either principal or interest,
for your reward will be
great, rich, abundant,
All the believer suffering
and loses will be restored a
what he has lost, he will
receive an enormous
reward for having obeyed
the LORD and having
sacrificed to meet the need
of the dying world and well
beyond the will be sons of
the most High; he shall
receive both eternal life and
inheritance for having
obeying CHRIST because HE
himself is kind and gracious
and good to the ungrateful
and the wicked , so
believers should be kind and 14
gracious and good to the
ungrateful and wicked,
which is modeled by GOD
Himself
Believers shall form the
new heaven on earth by
having part in the glorious
work of GOD, by been
tenderhearted, kind,
beneficent to all men
friends and foes showing
mercy, acting as GOD act,
being merciful as GOD is
merciful
ROMANS 15:1-2
1)We then that are strong
ought to bear the infirmities
of the weak, and not to
please ourselves
2) Let every one of us
please his neighbor for his
good to edification
WE THEN THAT ARE
STRONG OUGHT TO BEAR
THE INFIRMITIES OF THE
WEAK
Now we who are strong ,
who have attained a greater
degree of knowledge in
spiritual things, and in their
convictions and faith ,ought
to patiently put up with the
weakness of those who are
not strong, for the good of
others and not please
ourselves ,take them upon
ourselves, act as if they
were our own, and, at the
same time by our sympathy
relieve the weak, love for
others should govern the
conduct of people who are
strong in faith, not to make
it our main own object to
gratify our own will , we
should not please ourselves
in either entertain spiritual
pride, we should be willing
to deny ourselves, by
promoting the happiness of
others
LET EVERYONE OF US
PLEASE HIS NEIGHBOR
The believer has the
greatest pattern in all the 15
world for denying self and
living for his neighbor, not
seeking to secure for him
sympathy in those things
which would be injurious to
him, but in all those things
whereby his welfare would
be promoted, for even
CHRIST did not please
himself, we must please our
neighbor for the good of his
soul; not be serving his
wicked will, and pacifying
him in a sinful way, we are
not to please man contrary
to the Gospel of CHRIST, if
we therefore seek not to
please men , we are not the
servant of CHRIST, HIS
whole life was a self
denying and self-displeasing
life.
To the edification of our
neighbor, for the
establishment of his peace,
the increase of the spiritual
insight and building him in
most holy faith, grounded
on the example of CHRIST
Himself.
ACTS 20:35
35) I have showed you all
things, how that so laboring
ye ought to support the
weak, and to remember the
words of the LORD JESUS,
how he said, it is more
blessed to give than to
receive
I HAVE SHOWED YOU ALL
THINGS, HOW SO
LABORING
In everything I showed you
by example that by working
hard in this way you must
help to support the weak
Paul labored at secular
work, he was a craftsman, a
tentmaker ACTS 18:3 Paul
did not covet any mans
silver or gold or apparel, his
mind and thoughts were not
focus on the worldly things,
a teacher of the Gospel
must be totally committed
to sharing the Gospel 16
through helping other who
are in need
GALATIANS 2:10
10)Only they would that we
should remember the poor;
the same which I also was
forward to you
REMEMBER THE POOR
Helping the poor, the need
for believers to care for the
poor, which is a constant
term in scripture, the world
is filed with poor people, we
are to help and care for
them according to our
means, we are not only
willing but was indeed
zealous to do so
GALATIANS 6:2
2)Bear ye one another’s
burdens, and so fulfil the
law of CHRIST
BEAR YOU ONE ANOTHER’S
BURDEN
Sympathize with and assist
each other, show
compassion towards each
other, be ready to carry the
heavy loads of one another,
in all their weakness, and
trails carry each other’s
burdens includes helping
needy people in terms of
sickness, financial stress,
carry one another’s
burdens, take them upon
yourselves by kindly
sympathizing like our LORD
himself was said to bear the
physical infirmities of those
whom he healed MATTHEW
8:17 and in this way you will
fulfill the requirements of
the law of CHRIST, even the
law of love, which HE
particularly and especially
enjoins, in the new
commandment, and make it
the distinguishing marks for
all believers, the law of
CHRIST would not allow us
to reproach the offender,
or rejoice in his fall, we
should help him to take up
his load of infirmities that is
the law of love JOHN 13:34
The law of CHRIST is the
law of ministry and love
CHRIST gave and sacrificed
himself to reach out to man,
we cannot bear the sin of
man but we can carry the
burdens of each others to
be compassionate, to share
the promises of GOD, to
sympathize , be merciful,
pray and forgive

THINGS WE MUST DO IN
GIVING
The character of a righteous
man , one of his
characteristics, is that he
has scattered abroad, he
has been a large and
generous giver, he has
given cheerfully to the poor
of such man blessing is
pronounced that his deed
of generosity, but righteous,
in the distribution of them
according to the
commandment of GOD, that
shall remain for ever
He must be willing from the
heart, he must not give
grudgingly, he must not give
of compulsion, he must give
cheerfully, .
GOD expect the believer to
give sacrificially so that he
can give more and more, it
is clear that GOD give to the
believer so that, the
believer can be generous
and scatter GOD blessing all
aboard, the believer can
give , and GOD will increase
the gift given be the
sacrificial giver, the
believer’s righteousness,
just deeds, goodness,
kindness, gift, , the believer
giving endure for ever.
GOD will enlarge the
harvest of the believer’s just
and good deeds or
righteous or righteousness
GOD will enrich everything
in all ways so that the
believer can continue to
give liberally , that the
believer is to meet the
desperate need of the
world, he is to be a channel
though which GOD sends
HIS blessing to the world,
giving sacrificially depends
upon one thing: believing,
truly that GOD is able to
take care of us that GOD will
provide the essential of life
and blessing abundantly
