we are debtors, not to the
flesh, to live after the flesh
13)For if ye live after the
flesh ye shall die; but if
ye through the Spirit do
mortify the deeds of the
body, ye shall live

THEREFORE
BRETHREN WE ARE
DEBTORS NOT TO THE
FLESH
So then, brothers and
sisters, we have an
obligation, but not to the
Flesh, to sin and its
corrupt nature, not to our
flesh our human nature,
our worldliness, our sinful
capacity, to live according
to the impulse of the
flesh , to the corrupt
propensities and
passions, we are not
bound to such indulgence
is death and destroys,
but we are bound to live
to GOD, and to follow the
leading of His Spirit, our
nature without the leading
of the Holy Spirit is
death .The Spirit gives the power
to put evil deeds to death,
believers are in debt to
the Spirit, not to the sinful
nature, not to the flesh,
believer are not obligated
to the sinful nature, the
sinful nature has done
nothing for man, nothing
in real value, it is sinful
nature, contaminated by
sin, it is unspiritual and
fleshly minded, it cause
man to die, it is the
opposite to life and
peace, it has a mind that
is as odds with GOD, it
cannot please GOD, a
man owes the sinful
nature nothing, he is not
in debt or obligated to the
sinful nature, for the sinful
nature brings nothing but
grief and suffering, a man
is a fool to focus his life
upon such a weak thing
as the sinful nature.
IF YOU THROUGH THE
SPIRIT
If the influence of the
Spirit be in us, CHRIST is
in us, He dwells in the
Hearts by faith, grace in
54the soul is its new nature;
the soul is alive to GOD,
the righteousness of
CHRIST is imputed
secures the soul, of the
believers, believers are
obligated to the Spirit, is
the Spirit who has done
so much for man, the
Spirit which we are so
indebted, the Spirit of
GOD, is the Spirit of life,
has freed us from sin and
death, fulfilled
righteousness in us, pull
our minds to Spiritual
things, give us live and
peace, live and dwells in
us, removing us from
sinful nature and
identifying us as being in
CHRIST, gives live to our
mortal bodies and
assurance of redemption
on the last day
Believers must put sin to
death; destroy sin and it
must cease to be active in
our lives, the corrupt
inclinations and passions;
called deeds of the body,
if a man puts to death the
misdeeds of the body

means the evil deeds, the
evil lust and passion, the
desire and urges that
leads to sin and shame,
destruction and death,
because they are
supposed to have their
origin in the fleshly
appetites, the result of
failing to put to death
sinful nature of the body
is Spiritual death, the
power to put to death the
evil misdeeds of the body
comes through the Holy
Spirt, both we as
believers and the Holy
Spirit have to be involved,
each doing His part if he
wish the evil misdeed of
the body to be put to
death, if we do not want
the evil misdeeds of our
body destroyed, if we
want to continue in living
in sin of the sinful nature,
if we want nothing to do
with the Holy Spirit, then
the Spirit will have nothing
to do with such person,
GOD love us so much
that he will not force us,
He will not override our

choice, but if we honestly
will to follow the Spirit and
honestly will to destroy
the misdeeds of our body,
the Holy Spirit will step in
and give the power to do
so, he will break the
power of sin and subdue
the strength of it.

THE SPIRIT ITSELF
BEARETH WITNESS
WITH OUR SPIRIT
The Spirit of adoption is
here seen, as it were at
His mysterious work,
Himself testifies gives
evidence and confirms,
together with our Spirit
assuring us that we
believers are Children of
GOD, the Holy Spirit
imparts to us a
confidence that through
CHRIST and with JESUS
CHRIST, we are now
Children of GOD, it
means that the Holy Spirit
furnishes evidence to our
ear hear that we are
adopted in the family of
GOD.
The Spirit is the power to
testify, bear witness with
our spirit, that we are the
SON of GOD the Holy
Spirit quickens; makes
alive our heart with
perfect knowledge and
complete confidence that
we are children of GOD,
the Spirit pours out the
love of GOD in our hearts,
he spreads the
knowledge that GOD
loves us and spread it all
through our being, the
Spirit is the deposit or
guarantee that we are
Children of GOD,
AND IF CHILDREN
THEN HEIRS
The Holy Spirit testifies
that we are the heirs of
GOD, this expression
means that we shall be
partakers of that
Inheritance which GOD
confers on His people,
that Inheritance is His
favor here, and eternal life
hereafter, If GOD is truly
our FATHER, then we
inherit of promise the

promise made to
Abraham, that is, the
promise to become the
citizens of a great nation
of people that will inherit
the new heaven and
earth, then we inherit
what He possesses, we
are heirs of
righteousness,, we are
heirs of glory, we are heir
of grace of life, salvation,
eternal life, the Holy Spirit
is the one who seals the
truth to our heart.
AND JOINT HEIRS WITH
CHRIST
CHRIST is by eminence
the SON of GOD, As
such, He is heir to the full
honor of GOD, believers
are united to Him, they
partake of His glory, they
are the sons of GOD in a
different sense from what
he is, he is by nature and
high relation, they are
adopted in to GOD’S
family, the Holy Spirit
testifies that we are joint-
heirs or co-heirs with
CHRIST, that we are
conquerors over suffering

many men in the world
will oppose them , the
world and their nature
opposes the believer by
their very nature, the
believer stands and
proclaims righteousness
of CHRIST and self -
denial, the sacrifice of all
one is and has, the world
opposes such a life and
message they desire to
stamp it out, the person
who is truly a follower of
CHRIST proclaims and
stand for CHRIST ,
therefore He suffer the
persecution of the world
even as CHRIST did,
because he does suffer
with CHRIST, he will
share in the glory of
CHRIST as well

LIKEWISE THE SPIRIT
ALSO HELPETH OUR
INFIRMITIES
In the same way the Spirit
comes to us and help us
in our weakness, we do
not know what prayer to
offer or how to offer it as
we should, but the Spirit
himself knowns our needs
and the right time to
intercede on our behalf
with sighs and groanings,
when believer do not
know how to pray, too
deep for words the Holy
Spirit helps the believe in
prayer, the believer is not
left alone to cope with
problems, even when you
don’t know the right word
to pray, you as believer
don’t need to be afraid to
before GOD, the Holy
Spirit prays and
intercedes in harmony for
us according to GOD’S
will
The Holy spirit helps our
weakness, helps us in all
weakness, if we truly
sincere and are wrestling
to pray, then the Spirit
help us to control
concentration,
distraction,, wandering
thoughts, emotional
changes and affections,
the Spirit take s our mind
and emotion quiet and silence them, stirs and
excites them, draws and
pulls them, direct and
guides them, He leads us
to pray as we should,
controlling and subjecting
the sinful nature and
concentrating upon the
prayer, the Holy Spirit
Himself prays for us with
groaning that cannot be
express in words,
sometime the struggles
and suffering of life
becomes heavy we just
cannot bear them, the
Holy Spirt takes these
great moment of payer
and help us in our groans
before the LORD, we are
not able to outer the
words; therefor, the Spirit
intercedes for us with
groans that cannot be
utter, the believer’s great
need is to come before
GOD and to come often in
such intense prayer

WHAT THINGS FOR
THE SPIRIT
GOD recognizes the

voice of His own Spirit,
because the prayers that
the Spirit prompts are in
strict accordance with His
will, knows the desires
which the Holy Spirit
excites and produce in
the Hearts,, it is particular
to GOD, neither good nor
bad, can search into the
hearts of men; one man
cannot know the heart of
another; nor any man fully
know his own; this is the
prerogative of GOD
MAKETH
INTERCESSION FOR
THE SAINTS
GOD searches the heart
of us all, there is no
exception, He knows
exactly what is within our
hearts, He can read and
understand what our
groans and needs are, He
aids and directs believers,
the person for whom he
intercedes are believers,
whom CHRIST’S is made
sanctification and
righteousness imputed in
them, according to the will
of GOD, as the searcher

of hearts, He watches the
surging emotion of them
in prayers, the Spirit is
given according to His
will, it is His gracious
purpose to grant His aid
to all who truly love Him,
the desire which He
excites, in the heart of the
believer are those which
are according to His will;
they are such as GOD
wishes to exist; the
contrite, humble and
penitent, pleading of
sinners for mercy, He
guides believer in their
prayers, the Holy Spirit
prays for us believer
according to the will of
GOD, there is perfect
agreement between the
Holy Spirit and GOD the
FATHER

NOW WE HAVE
RECEIVED NOT THE
SPIRIT OF THE WORLD
Now we who are
believers, have received
not the Spirit of the world,
which is of wordly
wisdom, the Spirit that is
in worldly, carnal people,
and which guides and
governs them: a Spirit
which is earthly, sensual
and devilish, which of
carnal and unregenerated
of the unbelieving person,
the sinful carnal
disposition of the men of
the world; which is Spirit
of covetousness,
uncleanness, pride,
malice and error; or
carnal wisdom of the
world,
THE SPIRIT WHICH IS
OF GOD
But the Spirit which is of
GOD; the Holy Ghost,
which proceeds from the
FATHER and SON, is the
gift of GOD to the
believers ; and whom they
receive through the
doctrine of faith into their
hearts, as Spiritual
illumination,, faith,
comfort, adoption, truth,
and as a seal of future
glory,GOD’S
wisdom ,GOD and the
things of GOD is revealed
to believers, which GOD
has given His spirit, that they might know the
things that is freely given
to us of GOD, only the
Holy Spirit knows the
things of GOD, only the
man who receives
CHRIST, who is born
again by the Spirit of
GOD, is quickened, made
alive to understand
Spiritual things, GOD has
revealed true wisdom to
us by His Spirit, we are
under the teaching’s and
influence of the Holy
Spirit, that we might fully
understand and
appreciate, the Spirit
given to us believers, in
order that we might fully
understand the grace
which GOD has conferred
on us in the Gospel, the
Divinity of the Holy Ghost,
observe, that he knows all
things, and He searches
all thing, even the deep
things of GOD, no one
can know the things of
GOD, but His Holy Spirit,
who is one with the
FATHER and SON, who
makes known Divine

revelation, only the
believer who set his mind
on Spiritual things can
understand the mature,
deep thing of GOD
THE THINGS THAT ARE
FREELY GIVEN US-
That we might know the
things that are freely
given to us who has
given Himself, His SON,
and all things freely along
with Him, as justifying
righteousness, remission
of Sin, which are
conferred on us believers,
as a matter of grace of
favor, mysteries of
wisdom, the blessing of
redemption, pardon of
Sin, justification,
sanctification, the Divine
favor and protection, and
the Hope of eternal life, all
which were provided for
them.
NOT IN THE WORDS
WHICH MAN WISDOM
TEACHES
Which things we speak,
with great, and glorious,
and certain truths, we the
apostle preach and
explain, not in the words
which man’s wisdom
teaches, not such as
human philosophy or
eloquence would dictate,
they do not have their
origin in the strategies
Of human wisdom, and
they are not expressed in
such words of dazzling
and attractive rhetoric as
would be employed by
those who pride
themselves on the
wisdom of this world
BUT WHICH THE HOLY
GHOST TEACHES
COMPARING SPIRITUAL
THINGS WITH
SPIRITUAL THING
But which the Holy Ghost
teaches, that is the words
which the Holy Ghost
impart to us believers,
GOD desire to
communicate His wisdom
to humanity concerning
salvation, centering in
CHRIST as the wisdom of
GOD, it is only through
the Holy Spirit that GOD’S
truth and wisdom were

revealed to humanity, the
Spirit knows only the
thought of GOD, GOD
revelation was given to
the chosen believers
through the indwelling
presence of the Spirit,
believers understand
Divinely inspired word of
GOD as they examine its
content through the
illumination of the Holy
Spirit, the Spirit of GOD
inspired both the thought
and language of the
scripture, not a single
writer uttered false word,
GOD words was
protected from error and
falsehood by the Holy
Spirit.
Comparing spiritual things
with Spiritual: the things
of the Spirit of GOD; the
doctrine of the Gospel;
with the Spiritual writing of
the old testaments,
whereby their truth and
harmony are
demonstrated, speaking
as the oracles of GOD,
preaching according to
the analogy of faith,

Himself, the Holy Spirit

Gospel of GOD the Holy
spirit guides and directs
us, teaching us to
compare and combine
spiritual things with
Spiritual things, we use
the word of GOD to
interpret the word of GOD
the Holy Spirit keeps us
from all error, when we
seek and read the
instruction of GOD and do
not understand them, we
use Scripture and the
Holy Spirit give us

BUT IF YOU BE LED BY
THE SPIRIT
But if you submit to the
teachings and guidance
of the Holy Spirit, he
leads into all truth as it is
in JESUS, in the way of
faith and truth, and in
paths of righteousness
and by degree of grace
into the doctrine of the
Gospel,, to be regarded,
by such who are led by
the Spirit to CHRIST,
which is the end of the
law for righteousness;
they are entirely freed
from its condemnation,
you are not under the
law , you are under a
different dispensation of
the Spirit; you are free
from restraint and
constraint of the
ceremonial law and under
the control of the Spirit of
GOD
The believer is led by the
Spirit, when yielding to
the Spirit, to turn away
from the flesh’s evil desire
s, thus putting sin out of
his daily life, which
indicates voluntary
submission, the Spirit led person is not under the
law, the believer does not
need the restraints of the
law because his moral life
is governed by the Spirit
however, the true believer
has another Spirit of the
Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit
is given the power to
overcome the sinful
nature in the believer he
constraint the power of
the believer to sin, the
believer who listens to the
constrain and walks from
the object of pressure,
and call upon GOD for
courage to stay away, is
the believer who walk in
the spirit, the sinful nature
keeps a man from doing
what he would, every
person has experienced
the power of the sinful
nature and done
something that he did not
want to do , he fought
against it, knew it was
harmful or hurtful yet he
did not resist the sinful
nature, he gave in to the
power of the sinful
nature, the flesh the sinful

nature refuse to keep the
law, the flesh causes us
to fail no matter how
much we try.
The Spirit of GOD is the
answer; being led by the
Holy Spirit will frees us
from the sinful nature and
from the condemnation of
the law, the Holy Spirt
free us to live as CHRIST
lived, the believer actually
lives in CHRIST, and the
Spirit of life which is in
CHRIST frees the
believer from the fate of
the law of Sin and death

THE ANOINTING WHICH
YOU HAVE RECEIVED
OF HIM ABIDES IN YOU
The Holy Spirit is the
anointing, the Spirit of
grace, which we have
received out of the
fullness of grace which is
in CHRIST it is He who
abides and remain in us,
that means it influence on
your heart and life and
will keep you from
dangerous error, all
believer who are led by
the Spirit of GOD aregiven the anointing, that is
the Holy Ghost to help
lead them to the truth, as
we believers abide in
CHRIST and submit to
the word of GOD, the
Spirit helps us to
understand the
redemptive truth the Holy
Spirit seals us guarantees
and assures us that we
do abide and remain in
CHRIST.
CHRIST had promised to
send the Holy Spirit to
teach His followers and to
reminds them of all that
He had thought them , as
a result believers have
the Holy Spirit within them
to keep them from going
astray, in addition they
have the GOD inspired
scripture against which
they can convey Divine
revelation to stay true to
CHRIST, we as believer
must His word and His
spirit, let the Holy Spirit
help us to discern the
truth from error, CHRIST
live in us though the Holy
Spirit and we as believers

we also lives in CHRIST,
which means we place
our total trust in Him, rely
on Him for guidance and
strength
JOHN 16:13
YOU NEED NOT THAT
ANY MAN TEACH YOU
Not as if they had
absolutely no need at all
of human teaching, but
that we having the
internal principle of light
and life in us, which is the
Holy Spirit, who will teach
us bring things to our
remembrance, they had in
themselves a living,
ingrafted word, enabling
them to teach and
Commune
TEACHES YOU ALL
THINGS
That is all such necessary
and essential things to the
life and bring believers to
the doctrine concerning
the Messiah, sanctifying
influence and the
operation of the Holy
Spirit
