SANCTIFY THEM THROUGH
THY TRUTH
Sanctify them:
sanctification in the heart
of a believer is progressive,
it consists OF his becoming
more like GOD and less
attached to the world, in his
getting the dominance over
evil thoughts, and passions,
and impure desires; and in
his becoming more and
more discouraged from
earthly objects, and
attached to those things
which are unseen and
eternal.
Truth was the sphere in
which their sanctification
was to take place, they had
through CHRIST received
the FATHER’S word, which
was truth and passed into
new life, separation from
the world, there is a strong
emphasis “
THY WORD IS TRUTH
All that thou hast spoken,
that is, all that is contained
in the scripture, all the
commandment, and
promises of GOD; His
representation of His own
character, His account of His
mission and death of His
Son JESUS CHRIST,, the
resurrection,, judgment and
eternity all tend to
represent things as they are,
this word they had kept it
had become the focus of
their life, which is the
channels through which it is
to pass to others, believers
become pure and Holy
through believing and
obeying the word of GOD,
he or she has already
accepted forgiveness
through JESUS CHRIST’S
sacrificial death, the
continuous application of
GOD’S word has a purifying
effect on our minds and
hearts, they must be set
apart , separated from the
world and sin for the
purpose of worshipping and
serving GOD, to live for Him
and to be like Him, this
sanctification is
accomplished by our
devotion to the truth
revealed to us by the Spirit
of the truth, which is both
the living word and the
revelation of the written
word of GOD

JOHN 16:13
AS THOU HAST SENT ME
INTO THE WORLD
JESUS CHRIST was sent by
the FATHER in to the world
from the glory which He had
with the FATHER before the
world was to preach the
Gospel, likewise; He had
already sent them the
disciples and believers to
receive enlarge commission
to preach the Gospel, we
are being sent to the world
just like JESUS CHRIST had
been sent in to the world,
He does not pray for the
believers to die and leave
the world, nor seclude

themselves from the world
in communities or
monasteries, so as to
escape temptation, He
didn’t ask GOD to take
believers out of the world,
the primary separation is to
make Holy, to separate
from a sacrilegious to a
sacred use; to consecrate
self wholly to be cleansed
from sin or defilement in
order to be fit to be
separated unto GOD and
His service , believers
should not escape from the
world, nor avoid all
relationship with non
believers, we are called to
be the salt and light of the
world MATTHEW 5:13-14,
and we are to do the work
that GOD sent us to do
As thou has sent Me into
the world, I also sent them
into the world, the believers
is been sent as GOD has
Sent CHRIST applies to all
believer
AND FOR THEIR SAKE I
SANCTIFY MYSELF
And for their sake , on
behalf of the disciples and
believers, JESUS sanctifies
Himself making Himself
Holy without sin, he looked
like a sinner, but was not
one, he was charged and
treated as sinner,, but
perfectly Holy as GOD; he
was filled with the Holy
Ghost, and was holy in His
life and his death offering
Himself as sacrifice unto
GOD by setting Himself
apart to do the will of GOD,
the FATHER had
consecrated Him and sent
Him into the world, even
unto death so that the
disciples and believers may
benefit through His
Salvation for them on the
cross, JESUS suffered on the
cross
THROUGH THY TRUTH
Believers are sanctified
through the truth, that is,
through GOD’S word, it is
through the study and
practice of GOD’S word
that believers are set apart
unto GOD, as believers
study GOD’S word, he sees
more and more how he is to
live, as he sees, he set
himself a part to live the
way GOD tells him to live,
the word of GOD holds new
instruction for believer
every day, the word of GOD
shows the believers how to
be more and more
conformed to the image of
CHRIST every day, the
believer must come to the
truth, to the word of GOD
every day if he must be set
apart unto GOD
Truth is a representation of
things as they are, to see
things, to see things as they
are is to be infinitely lovely
and pure, his commands to
be reasonable and just,
heaven to be Holy and
desirable, his service to be
easy, sin horrible; to see
that life is short, that death
is near, that pride, splendor,
pleasures, wealth and
honors of this world are of
little value, and that it is of
endless importance to be

prepared to enter not the
eternal state of being, that
we desire to be holy

BEHOLD I SEND YOU FORTH
AS SHEEP
The disciples are
commissioned and sent
forth by JESUS CHRIST He
said I am sending you out
weak and defenseless,
among a wicked, ravenous,
cruel, and persecuting
people, it is CHRIST the Son
of GOD who sends us out,
He said listen carefully: I am
sending you out like sheep
among wolves; He is fully
aware of our persecution
that lies ahead yet he sent
the disciples and believers
out, the only hope would
be to look to their LORD,
CHRIST is able to deliver us
through death itself into the
presence of GOD, He
knowns the importance of
the message of the Gospel
of the kingdom of GOD,
which is essential for man’s
Salvation, therefore despite
the rejection and
persecution by many, the
message of the Gospel must
still be proclaimed so that
some might be saved.
The disciples and believers
are sent forth as a sheep, in
the midst of the wolves ,
being commissioned by
CHRIST send them in the
midst of the world that will
oppose the Gospel, He
knows that the disciples and
believers will be persecuted
, therefore they must know
the expected persecution,
he must not be cut off
guard when it comes, so be
wise as serpents, and
innocent as doves , to be
wise, and harmless a doves
means to maneuver quietly
with caution and with
intelligence, to be quick
seeing danger and quick to
escape from it, we are not
to be in our attitude but
sensible and prudent, we
are not be gullible pawns,
neither to be deceitful
swindler, we must find the
balance between wisdom
and vulnerability, have no
self-serving agenda

must study what CHRIST
has said, before we can
understand what he says,
believer must understand
before he can apply lesson
learned, if they are to teach
, they must first understand,
we must all have personal
knowledge of GOD’S
kingdom to effectively live,
preach and teach
Anyone who is acquainted
with the kingdom of
heaven, fitted to promote
it, the disciples and
believers are to imitate
teachers and study which is
instructed unto the kingdom
of heaven, that understands
the nature of the Gospel,
the discipline , the
doctrines, the way and
things pertaining to the
kingdom of heaven; as
CHRIST and His
righteousness, and
regenerating and sanctifying
grace of the Spirit such one,
is like unto a man that is an
householder; that has an
householder or family under
his care, as a teacher of the
Gospel, which brings forth
of his treasure, things new
and old, who is the great
treasury of grace and truth;
from where he receive gifts,
grace ,light and knowledge,
of the word of GOD, the
word of truth, by which the
men of GOD are thoroughly
furnished for every good
work, to treasury of the
Gospel, which is put into
their hearts
THINGS OLD AND NEW
They should be able to
understand things lately
acquired or things that had
been laid up for a long
time, the truth, new and
old, every believer should
be properly instructed ,
which you have gained,
bring it forth to benefit
others , those who preach
should be able to
understand the Gospel, to
defend it, and to
communicate its truths, to
enlighten the ignorant, and
to recover and guide those
who are in danger of
straying away, they are able
to share what they have,

both old and new, they are
to show just how the new
fulfils the old such as new
covenant, new sacrifice of
JESUS CHRIST, it will also
shown just how diligently
we must study if we are to
understand the word of
GOD, the disciples and
believers possesses
enormous treasure; the old
and the new testament and
the old and new revelation,
the old and the new truth,
and the old and new
message of GOD

JESUS SPAKE UNTO THEM
SAYING ALL POWER IS
GIVEN UNTO ME
That is, when the FATHER
awoke JESUS out of death,
His state of humiliation
came to an end, and the
resurrection was the
turning-point at which
JESUS entered the heavenly
glory, in which He is to
reign, the authority and
power intended is that
which CHRIST exercises the
universe is put under Him,
JESUS power or authority is
given by GOD, which is
given to exalt JESUS CHRIST
above all that is in heaven
and earth, the power
includes the power to
forgive sins, to judge,
receive and reject men, and
to save and deliver men
through life and death, as
Son of man and Mediator;
that he might redeem His
people; that he might
defend His chosen; that He
might subdue all their
enemies, and make them
the chosen more than
conqueror, but it is evident,
if He did not possess all
Divine perfections, He could
not exercise it, now to
govern all things in heaven
and earth belongs only to
Him who is the LORD and
maker of them, to have
power over death, and to be
able to raise the dead, is to
have that power which is
only ascribed to GOD alone
and to have power over the
souls of men , and the
knowledge of all heart
belongs to GOD alone,
JESUS CHRIST is empowered
with it and exercise this
authority and power
GO YE THEREFORE AND
TEACH ALL NATION
In view of JESUS CHRIST
authority, He commissions
the disciples and believers
to carry on the work that He
has started with full power
of attorney, the world is
placed under His control, it
is given me in promise by
My FATHER, as the purchase
of His Death, though we are
weak, yet we are strong,
though we may encounter
many troubles and dangers,
yet He is there to defend us.
Believer are promised
authority and power to
proclaim the gospel
throughout the world, He
has instruct us to go to all
nations and evangelize
them, they must obey
JESUS command to wait for
the promise of the FATHER,
which is the power of the
Holy Spirit , this applies to

all believers, the invitation
to salvation is for all alike,
we have the same right,
privilege , promise, and
provision for equipment for
service, so all should help in
every possible way to
evangelize the world
according to our ability and
direction from GOD,
TEACH: Jews and gentiles,
the doctrine of the Gospel,
and the ordinance of it, the
Gospel is adopted to all the
varying minds, and habits
of men,, near and remote,
ignorant or civilized, it is the
duty of the disciples and
believers to make it known
and acceptable in all
quarters of the world
whatever they have learned
from CHRIST , or were
ordered by Him, make them
disciple by teaching them,
way of the kingdom of
heaven, study and
explanation by bringing
them to the faith, to give
instructions, make disciples,
enroll as learner or pupil to
be taught,
TEACHING THEM TO
OBSERVE ALL THINGS
What JESUS CHRIST taught
and commanded must be
studied, to a point of
knowing and practicing,
the duty of the disciple and
believers is to observe all
things that CHRIST
commanded; that is, they
must instruct all nation of
the doctrines taught by
CHRIST, not man’s doctrine
or their own, but the truth
I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS
The Ascension was at
hand: this implied an
absence of His visible
presence, to be replace by a
Spiritual presence, more
perfect, potent, effectual,
that is, by His Spirit, His
providence, His attending
counsel and guidance, He
will strengthen , assist, and
direct them, which is
proves that JESUS CHRIST is
Divine, is GOD and Man,

were called out of the world

another Spirit; and were
separated from the world in
their lives and conversation,
which brought the hatred
of the world upon them,
EVEN AS I AM NOT OF THE
WORLD,
JESUS CHRIST came from
GOD out of heaven , the
disciples and other believers
were born again by the
Spirit of GOD and given the
very nature of GOD, the
world and Satan wants
absolutely nothing to do
with a selfless and sacrificial
nature, a righteous and
GODLY nature that gives all
one is and has to meet the
needs of the diseased and
starving and lost masses of
the world, believers are not
of the world, for the world
have another Spirit, carnal,
loose and worldly men; they
have other affections, other
inclinations other designs
and studies, this constant
contrast between CHRIST
and the Spirit of the world,
was His expose of its
hypocrisies and denounced
its idols, the world hates
believers because their
values differ from the
world’s by joining in their
sins, the world follows
Satan’s agenda and Satan is
the enemy of CHRIST and
His followers
I PRAY NOT THAT THOU
SHOULD TAKE THEM OUT
OF THE WORLD
JESUS CHRIST does not
pray that they might be rich
and great in the world, he
did not pray that the
disciple should be removed
out of the world, to escape
the rage of men though
they were going into trails
and persecution, yet JESUS
did not pray that they might
be removed soon from
them, it better that they
should endure them, and
thus spread abroad the
knowledge of His name, but

be kept from the evil , from
being corrupted by the
world and from the power
and craft of Satan , that they
might be kept from sin,
strengthened for their duty,
the disciples were needed in
the world, the need was not
for them to be taken out of
the world, the disciple were
called to be ambassadors
and children of GOD in the
world, GOD mission to save
the world depended upon
their loyalty and
faithfulness, they had to be
kept and protected and
covered with the armor of
GOD

believers, for the weakest as
well for the strongest, for
the diseased and well for

couple, for the prisoner as
well as for the free ,for all
those who shall be
converted under the
preaching and teaching of
the Gospel, they will all
need similar grace and be
exposed to similar trails, he
did not make His disciples
the only subject of his last
prayer, He prayed likewise
for all such as shall by the
word, whether preached or
written, be brought to
believe on Him, in whatever
age or nation; they are
going to be influenced by
the same Spirit, and
possesses the same love.

as they are all redeemed by

JESUS presence, ever

drawing their spiritual
nourishment and strength

disciples together, and gave
them power and authority

This was the first time
JESUS sent His disciples out
alone, they are called to
come together for ministry,
there are equipped with
power and authority, their
mission is to preach the
kingdom of GOD, the
disciples
AND HE SEND THEM TO
PREACH THE KINGDOM OF
GOD
JESUS announced His
kingdom by both preaching
the kingdom of GOD and
healing the sick,this is the
first time JESUS sent out the
12 disciples to represent
Him by word and deed,
they were to preach the
kingdom of GOD, preaching
met the Spiritual need of
the human soul, they were
to heal the sick, the physical
needs of human body, the
entire nation of Israel
needed to see the evidence
of the kingdom of GOD and
make a decision, JESUS
commission His disciples to
spread the word which gives
account of the kingdom of
the Messiah, about GOD’S
kingdom through preaching
and healing and equip with
the power of the Holy spirit
TAKE NOTHING FOR YOUR
JOURNEY
And he said unto them,
take nothing for your
journey, throughout the
towns and cities , where
they were sent to preach,
they were not to seek
success through personal
appearance and
materialism, they were to
live in utter simplicity and
humility, they are to
concentrate on preaching
and ministering and they
should not be sidetrack,
they should learn to believe
and trust GOD day by day,
become a living example of
what is being preached
faith in GOD, they should
not trust in the things of the
world, avoid the very
appearance of evil, having
your mind upon the things
of the world will distract
you from GOD, do not begin
to trust in the things of the
world , become attached to
GOD and His kingdom
alone; not for money,
house, lands, cars, clothes,
food, buying and selling and

accumulating, be heavenly
minded, and Ministry
centered, so that men may
know there is a far better
kingdom than what the
world offers.

THER SEVENTY
After the appointment of
the twelve disciples,

JESUS CHRIST again sent
other seventy disciples, the
seventy were sent out to
preach immediately two
and two, are appointed for
a temporary objects, they
were to go into villages and
towns, where JESUS himself
will come which He intends
to visit; he send them
before hand to acquaint the
inhabitants of it , and
prepare them by their
Ministry, for the reception
of Him just as John the
Baptist who was the
forerunner who prepared
the way of CHRIST
The number “seventy” was
a favorite number among
the Jews, which reflects the
family of Jacob that came
into Egypt consisted of
seventy GENESIS 46:27, the
number of elders that
Moses appointed to aid him
was seventy, NUMBERS
11:16, the number which
composed the great
Sanhedrin, or Council of the
nation was seventy
NUMBERS 11:25 they
might strengthen and
encourage one another, by
mutual counsel, and they
might sustain and comfort
one another in their
persecutions and trails,
JESUS had many disciples,
many more than just the
twelve often pictured
HE SAID THE HARVEST
TRULY IS GREAT BUT
LABORERS ARE FEW
JESUS said the harvest truly
is great, but the laborers
are few, pray you therefore
the LORD of harvest that He
would send forth laborers
into the harvest; for though
there was such a number of
disciples called to the
ministerial work, and sent
out, there was still need of
more; so great was the
harvest of souls, that the
laborers were yet but few;
and therefore the LORD of
the harvest and whose all
souls are, was to be prayed
unto to send fort more
laborers preachers, JESUS
gave reasons that there was
a great harvest of precious
souls to be reached with the
Gospel, the number was
staggering and the vast
majority are without
CHRIST, reeling to and fro
under the weight of the
problem of a sinful and
dying world
The laborers were few , the
need was urgent; the crop
was ripe, ready for harvest,
some wanted the gospel,
they were actually ready to
be reaped, wanting
purpose, meaning
significant in their lives, they
might not know what was

triggering the yearning and
aching within their hearts;
they might not know how to
identify it, but they were
ready to listen and grab
hold of it, GOD was the one
who had to send forth
laborers, He is the source of
Laborers, and prayer was
the method He used to send
them forth
A generation’s concern
determines how well that
generation get along under
GOD’S care, a generation
that longs for GOD that
seeks after GOD to send
forth laborers, will have
laborers and see a good
deal of righteousness
prevail during their life, but
a generation that ignores
GOD find immorality and
unrighteousness , injustice
and evil getting worse and
worse.

38) I sent you to reap that
whereon ye bestowed no
labor others men labored,
and ye are entered into
your labor

AND HE THAT REAPETH
RECEIVE WAGES
The wages JESUS offers are
the joy of working for Him
he who so preaches and
Souls are converted to
CHRIST there are those
who shall inherit eternal life
receive wage, seeing the
harvest of believers the
greatest that the heart can
know of gathering others
sinners, into eternal life,
these wages to planter and
harvester alike because
both find joy in seeing new
believers come into
CHRIST’S kingdom, the
laborer is given the
privilege of having a
specific part in GOD’S great
work, it may be sowing; it
may be reaping, its all
GOD’S work and it is a
privilege for a man to have
part in it, one man sows and
another man reaps, the
laborer gathers fruits who
are sinners, converted and
turned from error of their
ways which are the fruit of a
Gospel ministry, of the
efficacy and power of Divine
grace accompanying it, for
eternal life, what he does is
supreme value, it is the
greatest work imaginable,
his work is lasting; it is
forever, his work actually
delivers from
condemnation and ever
perishing, it causes GOD to
give them abundant and
eternal life, the laborer
experience the overflowing
joy of servicing GOD, with
other laborer, others here
refers to the old testament
prophets and to John the
Baptist, who paved the way
for the good news, the
glorious gospel
OTHER MEN LABOURED
AND YOU ARE ENTERED
INTO THEIR LABOURS
JESUS CHRIST sent the
disciples and believers
commission them to preach
the gospel, as they have not
labored or toiled in
preparing the way for the
great harvest which is now
to be gathered in other men
like the prophets and John
the Baptist labored along
preparing the way for the
coming Messiah, the savior
Himself by His personal

ministry taught the people,
layed the foundation for the
rapid and extensive spread
of the Gospel, and prepared
them for the success, every
part of the work of the
Ministry and of teaching
men is needful, and we
should rejoice that we are
permitted to bear and be
part of bringing sinners to
the knowledge of our LORD
and Savior JESUS CHRIST
I SENT YOU TO REAP THAT
WHEREON YE BESTOWED
JESUS CHRIST had sent the
disciples out to reap
benefits of the labors, and
to carry on the work of the
Prophets and others before
them, including Himself and
John the Baptist, they had
already baptized many

GOD, he cannot represent
GOD before the world
the peace of GOD , which
passes any understanding
AS MY FATHER HATH SENT
ME SO I SEND YOU
As My FATHER hath sent
me, so I send you, GOD sent
CHRIST on a specific
Mission, CHRIST sends His
disciples on the very same
mission I have now fulfilled
my Ministry, and Am now
going to My FATHER who
sent Me; now by the same
authority that I Am sent, I
sent you, CHRIST’S mission
of His disciples by the power
put in them, qualification
given to them, to preach
the Gospel, convert sinners,
make disciples, the disciples
are sent forth to proclaim
and bear witness to the
salvation of GOD, the
disciples and believer are
witness of the living GOD,
CHRIST is the way the
disciple and believers points
the way, CHRIST is the truth;
the disciples proclaims the
truth, CHRIST is the life; the
disciples share the life, the
pattern of their mission, is
the mission of CHRIST by His
FATHER, which was into this
world, to do his will, preach
the Gospel, work miracles,
and obtain eternal
redemption for His people
, JESUS is the model: and
they will be successful only
as they study his character
and we believers imitate his
example
