JOHN 17:6-8
6) I have manifested thy
name unto the men which
thou gavest me out of the
world; thine they were, and
thou gavest them me; and
they have kept the word
7)Now they have known
that all things whatsoever
thou hast given me are of
thee
8)For I have given unto
them the words which thou
gavest me; and they have
received them, and have
known surely that I came
out from thee, and they
believed that thou didst
send me
I HAVE MANIFEST THY
NAME UNTO THEM
The manifestation of the
name of GOD, by
proclaiming his goodness
and mercy, publishing his
will, making famous all
whereby GOD can be made
known: this CHRIST did both
by his words and by his
works. is making him known
as the only true GOD, and
the glorifying him on earth.
JESUS had revealed GOD’S
name, by “name” is meant
the whole character and
nature of GOD, his law, his
plan of mercy ,all that GOD
is, he is the very revelation
of GOD, the one who
reveals GOD to man
JESUS revealed GOD the full
revelation of GOD to the
people whom GOD had
given him, he shared the
message of GOD, he taught
them no other doctrine but
that which GOD gave him to
teach, by giving them faith
in what I have spoken and
have readily embraced, and
hitherto have resolutely
adhered to and obeyed thy
Gospel
NOW THEY HAVE KNOWN
THAT ALL THINGS YOU GIVE
TO ME ARE YOURS
All things which I have done
and spoken the spiritual
things, the covenant of
grace, with all blessing and
promises, the Spirit of GOD,
with all his gift eternal life
and glory the Gospel
   
strength to procure
salvation of his people and
the judgment of the world ,
are of thee, and
consequently are right and
true, they are fully
convinced, that the doctrine
of salvation which I teach,
the miracles which I
perform, and the authority
with which I am clothed, are
all really derived from thee,
in this, indeed, they have
acted upon the surest
evidence
I HAVE GIVEN UNTO THEM
THE WORDS WHICH THOU
GAVE ME
I have taught them no
other doctrine but that
which thou gave me to
teach, they have received
them, they are fully sensible
that my doctrine is in all
points agreeable to thy
blessed nature and
perfections, they have
received it as such; and
have known surely that I
came out from thee, that I
am not of the false
teachers/fake prophets,
that I was truly commission
by you to reveal thy will to
mankind.
JOHN 17:14
14)I have given them thy
word and the world hath
hated them because they
are not of the world, even
as I am not of the world
I HAVE GIVEN THEM THE
WORD
JESUS CHRIST have not
only given his word unto his
disciples but have opened
their hears to receive and
believe it and bowed their
wills to obedience with it:
so as the word dwells in
their hearts, is ingrafted in
them, and they are turned
   
into likeness of , they have
the commission and ability
to preach it
THE WORLD HATED THEM
BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT OF
THE WORLD
But now they were, and
were guide and led by
another Spirit and were
separated from the world in
their lives and conversation
and called out of the world,
and which brought the
hatred of the world upon
them
The world and Satan stand
against the love of GOD,
because GOD is love is the
true love of obedience, that
gives all one is and has to
meet the needs of a
desperate world in sin and
death , true love so much
that it gives everything to
help those who desperately
who are in need of help
in the world ,are unwilling
to give anything, the Satan
and the world stand against
Holiness and justice of GOD
The disciples of CHRIST
have the word of GOD, it is
GOD’S word that reveals
GOD’s love, a sacrificial love
that gives all it wants
The disciples and other
believers, were not of the
world, even as JESUS was
not of the world, JESUS
came from GOD, out of
heaven, the disciples and
other believer are
regenerated by the Spirit of
GOD and given the very
nature of GOD
The world and the devil
have noting the do with a
   
selfless and sacrificial
nature, a righteous and
godly nature that gives all
and to meet the need of the
diseased and staving and
lost masses of the world
The disciples were needed
in the world, the need was
for them to be kept from
the evil one or from Satan,
they and the believers are
called out of the world to be
ambassadors and
Messenger of GOD in the
world, GOD mission to save
the world depends of their
faithfulness
JOHN 17:17-18
17)Sanctify them through
thy truth; thy word is truth
18)As thou hast sent me
into the world, even so
have I sent them into the
world
SANCTIFY THEM THROUGH
THY TRUTH THY WORD IS
TRUTH
The disciple and believers
are to be sanctified through
GOD’S truth, and GOD’S
truth is said to be GOD’S
word, GOD’S word would
refer to both the living
word, the full revelation in
JESUS CHRIST himself and
to the spoken or written
word,
Sanctification is a
progressive work, which is
carried on gradually; as is
clear from the character of
regenerated ones, who are
first newborn babes, then
young men, and after
father, It consist in his
becoming more like GOD
and less attached to the
world: in his getting the
control over evil thoughts,
and passions, and impure
desire: and in his becoming
more and more discouraged
from earthly things and now
attached to those things

19)And for their sakes I
sanctify myself, that they
also might be sanctified
through the truth
Sanctification is the way of
salvation choosen to reach
the world, JESUS had set
himself apart to please
GOD, and he please GOD in
the ultimate degree no
matter the cost, the glory of
GOD must be dome, perfect
obedience to GOD was the
choosen way of salvation,
being set apart to serve and
worship GOD .
Believers are sanctified
through the truth, that is,
through GOD’S word, it is
the Study and practice of
GOD’S word that believers
are set apart unto GOD, as
   
the believer studies GOD;S
word, he sees more and
more how he is to live, as he
sees, he set himself apart to
live the way GOD tells him
to live.
The word of GOD holds
new instruction for the
believer, every day, the
word of GOD shows the
believer how to conform to
the image of CHRIST every
day, if the believer comes to
the truth to the word of
GOD every day if he wishes
to be set apart unto GOD
JOHN 17:20
20)Neither pray I for these
alone, but for them also
which shall believe on me
through their word
JESUS prayed further
JESUS said, I do not make
my apostles the only object
but for those who shall be
converted under the
preaching of the gospel,
they may need similar grace
of my prayer; I pray likewise
for all such as shall by their
word, whether preached or
written, be brought to
believe on me, in whatever
age or nation; that they
also, being influenced by
the same spirit possessed of
the same love
Believers, for those who
would believe in him from
that moment to the end of
the world, but for them also
which believe, what he
prayed is most loved, you
and for me for all of us who
believed today:
 For the weakest as well
as the strongest
 
For the sick as well as
healthy
 
For orphans and well
children of the family
For the widow and
widower
 
The prisoner as well for
the free
There is the disciple and
believer the person who
proclaim the gospel the
word, so that man can
believe in the name of
JESUS, there is GOD’S word
the messenger is GOD’S
messenger, his ambassador,
Minster, teacher and
preacher, the word he takes
to the world is GOD word,
and we must believe in the
word
JOHN 18:37
37)Pilate therefore said
unto him,arts thou a king
then? JESUS answered, thou
sayest that I am a king, to
this end was I born, and for
this cause came I into the
world that I should bear
witness unto the truth,
every one that is of the
truth heareth my voice
TO THIS END WAS I BORN
AND FOR THIS CAUSE CAME
IN TO THE WORLD
JESUS answered , which
was rightly said; and JESUS
by this words owns and
confesses, that he was one:
adding, to this end was I
born, and for this cause
came I into the world: that I
should bear witness unto
the truth:, the birth was of
a virgin, in very miraculous
manner; and his coming into
the world, which was
by the assumption of
human nature, was to bear
testimony to the truth in
general to the whole
Gospel, the word of truth,
and every branch of it,
which he constantly
preached in life, and
confirmed by his death; and
particularly that he was a
king that have kingdom in a
spiritual sense .
Everyone that is of the
truth; that is of GOD,
   
belongs to the sheep of
JESUS CHRIST will know the
truth as in JESUS, and is on
the side of truth, but
internally approve of it in
his heart, rejoice at it , , so
as to cheerfully obey them
from a principle of love to
him
Every one that is of the
truth heareth my voice:
JESUS CHRIST here not only
affirms that his word had in
it a self-evidencing, self
recommending power
captivating power over their
hearts
