MATTHEW 16:22-23
RELATED CHAPTERS
22)Then Peter took him,
and began to rebuke him,
saying, be it far from thee,
LORD; this shall not be unto
thee
23)But he turned, and said
un to Peter, get thee behind
me, Satan: thou art an
offense unto me; for thou
Savorest not the things that
be of GOD, but those that
be of men
Peter was strongly attached
to JESUS, he interrupted
him, he could not bear to
think of JESUS death , he
expected, moreover, that he
would be the triumphant
Messiah, in his zeal and
confidence, he seized him
by the hand and said, be it
far from thee, which is: this
shall not be unto thee; it
expressed Peter’s strong
desire that it might not be
and began to rebuke him;
reprove and chide him, but
out of tenderness and
respect saying far be it from
thee LORD, it shall not be
done unto thee; he could
not see how such an
innocent person could be so
used by the chief priest,
and the Messiah, from
whom so much happiness
was expected, could be
treated in such a manner ;
and especially the son of the
living GOD should be killed?
This must not and cannot
happen to you, GOD forbid
it,
The point is this, Peter was
out to stop the cross, he
was urging JESUS to be the
Messiah of power, fame,
and sensation whom the
Jews were expecting, Peter
was urging CHRIST to follow
own human schemes
instead of GOD’S way : and
by such urging he was
tempting CHRIST with the
very same compromises of
that Satan use to tempt,
that of power, fame, and
sensation, Peter was
zealous for GOD, but he was
mistaken and ignorant in
his zeal, he did not
understand that GOD was
planning to save the world
through the death of his
SON.
Such behavior is the way of
the world, it is the natural,
carnal mind, man rebels
against the idea of a
suffering Savior who had to
die for the sins of the world,
a Savioir who demand the
same sacrifice and denial of
his follower, which in the
eyes of Peter is
unacceptable and repulsive.
HE TURNED AND TO PETER
GET THEE BEHIND ME
SATAN
JESUS rebuked Peter, out of
my sight, I say to thee as I
did to the devil when he
tempted me get thee
behind me Satan, for thou
does the work of Satan, the
adversary, in tempting me,
for self- preservation, to
violate my FATHER’S
command, and my
undertaken, and to forsake
the work of man’s
redemption and salvation.
A term of reproach,
springing out of the intense
displeasure with which he
now saw Peter striving, like
Satan, against the purpose
of GOD , the sharpness of
the word indicates a strong
and intense emotion, the
chief of the disciples was
addressed in the self-same
terms as those spoken to
Tempter, it was indeed to
divert him from the work his
FATHER called him to do;,
nothing less than a renewal
of the same temptation , in
this suggestion, that he
might gain the crown
without the cross, and
attain a kingdom of this
world as the prince of the
world (Satan) obtain their
kingdom,
CHRIST saw the recurrence
of the temptation which
had offered him the glory of
those kingdoms on
condition of his drawing
back from the path which
the FATHER had appointed
for him.
THOU ART AN OFFENCE ON
TO ME
That is, a stumbling-block,
thou play the tempter,
casting a stumbling-block in
my way to the cross,
nothing was more offensive
to JESUS CHRIST, than to
endeavor to divert him from
the work his FATHER called
him to do; he had agreed to
do; what he came to the
world this world to for,, and
his heart was so much set
upon, namely, to suffer and
die, in order to obtain
salvation for them
FOR THOU SAVOUREST
NOT THE THINGS THAT BE
OF GOD
Thou art carried away by
human views of the way of
setting of setting up
Messiah kingdom, you are
seduced by carnal affection
and you don’t understand
things that is of GOD, that is
the counsel of GOD in this
matter, quite contrary to
those of GOD: meaning his
sufferings and death, which
were appointment of GOD,
the counsel of his will, the
provision of his covenant,
redemption of the world
BUT THOSE THAT BE OF
MEN
He thought of nothing but
worldly splendor in the
Kingdom of Messiah, and of
the continuation of JESUS
CHRIST natural life, for his
own carnal advantage;
which showed him to be, at
this time, greatly under the
influence of corrupt nature,
THE NATURAL MAN IDEA
OF GOD
Some think that comfort
and pleasure is the path of
life, GOD again is viewed
only as generous grand
father type who gives man
the good things of life and
helps man when he gets in
trouble, GOD’S will for man
is thought to be comfort
and pleasure, ease and
plenty, health and leisure,
again the cross is only an
emblem of love and care for
the world, not of suffering
and sacrifice and self-denial,
the same .pain and glory of
the cross and its purpose of
reconciliation of a world lost
in sin and reeling in
desperate need is over
looked
Some feel that triumph,
victory, position, authority,
power, and reigning
supreme is GOD’S way, this
was the idea of most Jews
and Peters concept of
Messiah, the concept of
power, position and
authority are clearly seen in
movements that stress self
image, self-improvements,
and personality
development, developing
one self image as much as
possible and achieving, all
that one can are said to be
GOD;S plan and path for
man, however,, the idea of
suffering and sacrifice and
self-denial is rejected
Peter was tempting JESUS ,
PETER did not have his mind
or his thought in line with
GOD’S mind and thoughts ,
Peter thought are worldly
and self-pleasing, not
Spiritual and pleasing to
GOD, he is using human
reasoning not GOD
reasoning, the thought that
GOD’S son had to die and
shed his blood for the sins
of the world was disgraceful
to Peter, in his mind, such a
concept was unfit for GOD
Peter was involved with
the very same Temptation
that CHRIST had faced in the
wilderness, all worldly glory,
that was flash across his
mind, the loyalty and
allegiance of men without
the cross was again being
suggested to him, which
was this time coming from
his own disciple when a
man refuse to accept GOD’S
plan for life, he become an
adversary to GOD, he
oppose GOD’S will ,in
essence , man says that he
knows what is best: that he
is wiser than GOD
MATTHEW 16:24
24)Then said JESUS unto his
disciples, if any man will
come after me, let him deny
himself, and take up his
cross, and follow me
IF ANY MAN WILL COME
AFTER ME LET HIM DENY
HIMSELF
A person must will to follow
CHRIST means to desire,
wish, resolved, determine, it
is a deliberate willing, a
deliberate choice, a
determined resolved to
follow CHRIST, the choice is
voluntary; it is made by the
person, it is the individual
who will choose , must
deny self,
The word deny means :
disown, disregard, forsake,
renounce, reject, refuse,
restrain, disclaim, do
without, it means to subdue
to disregard one’s self and
own interest, the call is to
say no to some behavior
and some things, that is
giving up somethings and
doing without some thing,
that means we have to act
positively “yes to CHRIST
and no to self, which means
to let CHRIST rule and reign
in our hearts and lives, to
have CHRIST have his way
completely
The man is to deny his
whole self, sinful self,
ungodliness, and worldly
lusts; and part with them
and his former sinful
companions, let deny all his
own work of righteousness,
and self-righteousness, let
him deny himself the
pleasure and profit of this
world; let him drop and
banish all his notions and
expectation of an earthly
kingdom, put off our
natural affections towards
the good things of this life,
let them be pleasure, profit,
honors or any thing, which
will would keep us from the
obedience to the will of
GOD, , thus CHRIST did: he
seek not his own will, but
the will of the FATHER all his
natural motives and
impulses, so far as they
come into conflict with the
claim of CHRIST
TAKE UP HIS CROSS:
Cheerfully receive, and
patiently bear, every
affliction and evil, however
shameful and painful it may
be, cheerfully bear those
trials and affliction, which is
appointed for him and he is
called unto: to which he will
quietly submit, and carry,
with an entire resignation,
to the will of GOD
In the exercise of grace, as
humility, zeal, patience, and
self-denial: and discharge of
moral and every duty,
yielding a universal
obedience to the
commandment of JESUS
CHRIST and living up as near
as we can to the example
CHRIST, his energy, and
effort, action and work,
zeal, seeking to follow his
footsteps no matter the
cost.
MATTHEW 16:25
25)For whosoever will save
his life shall lose it: and
whosoever will lose his life
for my sake shall find it
FOR WHOSOEVER WILL
SAVE HIS LIFE SHALL LOOSE
IT
Whoever is desirous of
preserving himself from
reproaches, persecutions,
and death: and takes such
method to do it, as by
forsaking CHRIST, denying
his Gospel, seeking favor
with men, in order to
procure to himself worldly
emoluments, honors,
pleasure and life shall loose
it, he will expose himself to
the wrath of GOD, to
everlasting punishment, the
destruction of the soul and
body in Hell
The person who abandons
this life for CHRIST will find
it, that is who sacrifices and
that is willing to forgo all the
pleasures and comforts of
life and to lay down his life
for the sake of CHRIST and
the Gospel, gives all that he
is and has for CHRIST shall
save his life,
But the person who keeps
his life and what he has and
seek more and more of this
life, shall lose his life
completely and eternally:
The person who “Saves his
life”
v By seeking to avoid the
aging of the body and
death and yet denies
CHRIST, that persons
shall lose his life
eternally,
v By seeking to make his
life more and more
comfortable, easy, and
secure beyond what is
necessary and neglects
CHRIST shall lose his life
eternally
v By seeking to gain
wealth and power and
fame by compromising
CHRIST shall losoe his
life eternally
v By seeking craving for
the pleasure of the
world excitements, and
stimulation by ignoring
CHRIST shall losoe his
life eternally
As above, the person who
loses his life for CHRIST,
who sacrifices and gives all
he is and has for CHRIST,
saves his life, and he save it
eternally, the person who
keeps his life and what he
has for himself shall lose his
life, and he loses it
eternally, the call of Call of
CHRIST is just , what he
says: a life of denial that
takes up the cross and
follows in his steps.
MATTHEW 16:26
26)For what is a man
profited if he shall gain the
whole world, and lose his
own soul? Or what shall a
man give in exchange for his
soul his
FOR WHAT IS A MAN
PROFITED
To gain the whole world
Means to possess it as our
own, all its riches, its honor
and pleasures, how awful is
the stake as here set forth,
if a man makes the present
world in its various forms of
riches, honors, pleasures,
and such like, the object of
ultimate interest, a man’s
soul is worth more than the
whole world.
No man can gain the whole
world, is the pleasure and
wealth and power and fame
and nothing compared with
his Soul, there are four
primary reasons why the
soul is far superior to the
things of this earth:
a) Everything fades and
passes away; a person
possesses something only
for a short time
b) Everything cannot be
used all at once, everything
sit and remains unused
most of the time:
v
Clothes sit
v
A car sits
v
Power goes unused
v
Popularity and fame
quickly pass and are
forgotten
c)The human soul is
eternal, the soul never dies
and never ceases to exist, it
shall live forever either with
GOD or apart from GOD
d)The human soul is of
more value than the whole
world
Once a man loses his Soul
is lost, it cannot be bought
back, the man forfeits and
suffers the loss of it forever
cast into Hell, to be shut
from heaven, if a man
possessed all the wealth of
the world, he would not be
able to buy back his Soul,
because it is gone; it has
passed on forever, the man
will never return to earth,
not even for one day, he is
gone forever , that soul is
lost, nothing can be given in
exchange for it, or that it
can never afterward be
saved, there is no
redemption in Hell

thieves break through and
steal
20)But lay up for
yourselves treasures in
heaven, where neither
moth nor rust doth corrupt,
and where thieves do not
break through or steal
LAY NOT TREASURES UPON
EARTH
JESUS CHRIS T says do not
store up for yourselves
earthly riches material
possession , that a person is
not to focus his life on
earthly things, not to set his
eyes and mind and energy
and effort on such passing
treasures. Meaning either
treasures that are of an
earthly nature , there is a
seed of corruption and
destruction within the
world, a principle of or
nature of corruption and
destruction all over the
earth, everything is
imperfect it ages, dies,
deteriorate, decays and
waste away.
The more valuable and
excellent things of the
earth, worldly wealth and
riches: or things and place,
in which these are laid up,
CHRIST here discourages ,
from covetousness, and
worldly mindedness: an
anxious care and concern,
to hoard up plenty of
worldly things for
themselves “ money,
possession,, material things,
houses , cars,, land,
buildings , furniture’,
nothing on this earth is
secured and lasting, its all
corrupt and temporal, it is
aging, wasting away and
decaying.
There are heavenly riches,
there are things of heaven
that believers desire, JESUS
CHRIST call these heavenly
riches, will be such things as
v A blameless life
v Become a true child of
GOD by daily seeking
GOD,S word
v Understanding the will
of GOD, Purpose
meaning
v Focusing on the
kingdom of GOD and its
righteousness
v
The love of GOD and
loving our neighbor by
showing mercy to the
poor and needy
Heavenly riches are
incorruptible, is an
inheritance that can never
perish, spoil or fade, it is
keep in heaven for us
believers, thieves can never
break through heaven; they
can not penetrate the
spiritual dimension, no one
nor anything can take away
a person’s heavenly riches,
that is imperishable,
indestructible seed, a
principle of incorruption in
heaven.
It is easer to covet earthly
things than heavenly
because:
They are seen and can be
handled, they are sought for
by most people, a person is
either earthly mined of
heavenly minded which is
life or death.

MATTHEW 6:24
24)No man can serve two
masters: for either he will
hate the one, and love the
other: or else he will hold to
the one, and despise the
other, ye cannot serve GOD
and Mammon
NO MAN CAN SERVE TWO
MASTERS
JESUS CHRIST warns about
a choice to be made
between two kind of
masters, a man hates one
master and love the other, a
man serve GOD or material
things, he favor, serves,
helps, and love one; and
while he is doing so, he is
rejecting and showing
disrespect and hate for the
other.
There are only two
treasures: the earth and its
treasure or GOD and his
treasure, physical and
material things or spiritual
and eternal things,
everyman without
exception has committed
his life to one of the two
treasures: Mammon or
GOD, he is focusing his
heart, eyes, mind, attention,
thoughts, hands, and energy
upon earthly things or upon
heavenly things, he cannot
serve GOD and money
To serve money is to place
such a high value on it that
we, place our trust and faith
in it, look to it for our
ultimate security and
happiness, expect it to
guarantee our future, and
desire it more than we
desire GOD’S righteousness
and kingdom, the
accumulation of wealth ,
fame,, status, is that it
usually dominates one’s
mind and life so that GOD’S
kingdom and glory is no
longer first.
GOD requires total
allegiance and continuous
subjection of our will to
him,, he ask for full
commitment of our heart
and love for his service, we
cannot serve GOD like that
while under the influence of
the god of money
(Mammon), urging us to
make present, tangible, and
worldly things the object of
our thought and affections
JESUS says we can have one
master, we live in a
materialistic society where
many people serve money,
they spend all their lives
collecting and storing it,
only to die and leave it
behind, their desire for
money and what it can buy
far outweighs their
commitment to GOD and
spiritual matters
JESUS repeatedly warns of
the danger of accumulation
of riches, which can be an
idol, a man either sticks to
or hate on of the Masters,
he has to choose which
master to favor and serve,
the choice is clear, a man
either serve GOD or
material things.
Earthly riches are
corruptible and destroyed,
everything on earth,
everything ages, dies,
deteriorates, and decays,,
things are on earth only for
a brief time, earthly riches
are insecure:
v They can be stolen or
eaten up
v They do not, last; they
waste away
v No person can take a
single thing with him
when he passes from
this world
MATTHEW 20:25-27
25)But JESUS called them
unto him, and said, ye know
that the princes of the
gentiles’ exercise dominion
over them, and they that
are great exercise authority
upon them
26)But it shall not be so
among you: but whosoever
will be great among you, let
him be your minister
27)And whosoever will be
chief among you, let him be
your servant
28)Even as the SON of Man
came not to minister, and
give his life a ransom for
many
KINGDOM GREATNESS
Greatness that is eternal is
GOD, there is no other
greatness other than GOD,
the greatness conceived by
man is artificial : it fades
away, greatness is not
dominion over people, the
disciples still thought the
Messiah Kingdom would be
the restoration of Israel as
earthly nation and power,
the world’s view is
measured by power, fame,
recognition, influence,
authority, dominion and
position, in this world those
who Lord it over and
exercise authority are
considered great men and
women, JESUS says that in
the Kingdom of GOD,
greatness will not be
measured by authority over
others, but by giving oneself
in service, believers must
not try to reach the top in
order to exert their
authority or rule rather they
must give their lives in
helping others and in
laboring for the spiritual
good of all people.
The view is measured by,
buildings vehicles,
machines, and ability to
work and achieve goal , the
world seek these things:
individuals as well as
nations seek after them.,
which many are caught up
in worldly greatness,
seeking some recognition,
position, influence, fame
and wealth.
Greatness is serving others,
the great are they who
minister.
True greatness was
demonstrated by JESUS
CHRIST, the act of
ministering: he came not to
be saved, but to serve, he
was treated as the lowest of
creature by men to whom
he came, they gave him no
place to lay his head
MATTHEW 8:20
LUKE 9:58
JESUS CHRIST is the King of
King and LORD of LORD, yet
he secured his kingdom by
becoming a minister and a
slave to all, he did not lord it
over men, he ministered
and saved men and because
he was slave to all, GOD has
now highly exalted him
(PHIL> 2:8)
CHRIST has met the needs
and provided the ransom
by paying the price to set
them free from the penalty
of sin, for every man and
woman, but everyone has
to accept the offer of the
ransom in their own behalf,
CHRIST has made provision,
but anyone can reject the
offer of ransom, he made
provision for all to be saved,
but he died for many in that
only some receive the offer
of the ransom
Ransom conveys the
meaning of a price paid to
obtain the freedom of
others, in the redemptive
work of JESUS CHRIST, his
death is the price paid for
the release of men and
women from sins
dominated world, the
release from condemnation
and death

HE THAT IS GREATEST
AMONG YOU
That who seek to be
greatest shall be the servant
of all, if any one among you
would in reality be greater
than another, let him be
cheerfully to serve others in
love.
Greatness is measured by
service, giving of yourself to
serve GOD and help others,
not by earthly honor, when
religion is conceived by man
or influence by man, that
religion focuses upon ritual,
ceremony, rules and
regulation and upon honor,
recognition, position and
influence
Service is the way to honor;
service keeps us aware of
others need, and it stops us
of focusing on ourselves, he
that would be most
honored ought to do the
most work; and the man
that has the most grace, and
the greatest gifts, ought to
employ them for the use
and benefit of others,
believers should lead by
serving
He that shall humble
himself, by entertaining low
thoughts, and a mean
opinion about himself ,
behaving modestly among
men: not being elated with
his gifts, but acknowledging
that they are owning to the
grace and goodness of GOD:
and using them in humbled
manner for the advantage
of others,; not converting
honor from men, nor lifted
up what is conferred on
him, GOD will exalt or honor
him
He that is humbled, that is,
he that seek a lowly place
among people, which is
true religion, and GOD will
reward him, and whosoever
shall exalt himself, above his
fellow believer by
entertaining too high an
opinion of himself, by
boasting of his gifts, as
preferable to others or
eagerly converting titles of
honor among men or by
affecting honor that do not
belong to him , shall be
degraded or humbled by
GOD or men , such shall lose
his honor they have, they
shall fall into disgrace with
men and are abominable in

8)but be not ye called rabbi,
for one is your master, even
CHRIST; and all ye are
brethren
9)And call no man your
Father upon earth; for one
is your FATHER, which is in
heaven
BUT BE NOT CALLED RABBI
Don’t let any one call , you
Rabbi(Teacher) for you
have only one teacher, this
is a warning by CHRIST
against the human tendency
to replace a personal
relationship with GOD, by
following an earthly leader,
no matter how dynamic or
even how godly such a
leader is, as soon as people
start looking to that person
rather than GOD, they have
created an Idol.
And all of the brethren are
equal as brothers and
sisters, the new covenant
has only one teacher JESUS
CHRIST, JEREMIAH 31:31-
34, JOHN 14:26
GOD is the FATHER of our
Faith, of true religion, no
earthly founder or teacher ,
CHRIST is our Teacher, One
alone teacher, we are not to
be called teacher, we are
servant of the teacher,
therefore no man is to be
acknowledged as such,
believers are brothers, one
is not above or more
exalted than another, each
stand as equal before GOD
and one another, each is to
serve and help the other
AND CALL NO MAN YOUR
FATHER
Do not call anyone on earth
who guides you spiritually
your Father for one is your

here on earth as father, for
only GOD in heaven is your
FATHER, believers
LUKE 12:15
15)And he said unto them
take heed, and beware of
covetousness; for man’s life
consisteth not in the
abundance of things which
he possesseth
WORDLINESS, SELFIHNESS
GREED
The charge of JESUS was ,
strong, there was a double
warning, that the good life
has nothing to do with
being wealthy, so beware of
covetousness , greedy
desire for what we don’t
have, it includes the craving
for both material things and
fleshy indulgence, it is a lust
so deep within man that he
find his happiness in things ,
it is a strong appetite for
gain: a desire for pleasure
of possessing things for
their own sake instead of in
GOD
The big sin of man is greed
or covetousness, which is
the sin of the world desiring
more and more, however a
man happiness and comfort,
soul and body do not
depend upon what he has;
many poor people are
happy and comfortable with
healthy souls and bodies,
life does not consist in
possession, beautiful home ,
the latest clothes, a new
car, property, money,
wealth.
The covetous me, is
aggressively self-centered ,
he make earthly gains or
riches the desire of his life is
a destructive blunder that
leads to eternal loss, a
man’s natural life cannot be
prolong by all the good
things of the world ,he is
possessed of; they cannot
prevent diseases nor death;
nor do the comfort and
happiness of life, lie in these
things.
Believers are to guard
against the ruin overtaking
the covetous men, such as
Achan, Gehazi and Judas,
they should examine
themselves whether
selfishness and greed exist
in their hearts and learn to
tune out expensive
enticement and
concentrate on the truly
goodly life, living in a
relationship with GOD
LUKE 12:19-21
21)And I will say to my soul,
soul thou hast much goods
laid up for many years; take
thine ease eat, drink, and
merry
20)But GOD said unto him,
thou fool, this night thy soul
shall be required of thee;
then whose shall those
things be, which thou hast
provided?
21)So is he that layeth up
treasures for himself, and is
not rich towards GOD
AND I WILL SAY TO MY
SOUL, THOU HAST MUCH
GOOD LAID UP FOR MANY
YEARS
Much property enough to
last a long while, so that
there is no need of anxiety
about coming to want, they
think that all that is valuable
in life is to eat, and drink,
and be cheerful or merry,
he foolishly promise
himself long life, when no
man can boost of
tomorrow, or know what a
day will bring forth; he
depended on the safety of
his goods thus , their chief
worry is to obtain the
delicacies of the season, the
luxuries of the world: and to
distinguished for splendor
and magnificent style of
living, all that a man lives for
is to satisfy his sensual
appetites of a carnal man
The man was blessed
materially, he had plenty of
good things, that he could
take life easy, eat ,drink and
merry, he became puffed
up, prideful with what he
had done, he began to exult
himself of I and I of my and
my, he is selfish and self
indulgence and extravagant
living:
He thought only of self, of
living at ease and in
comfort, he gave no
thought to helping others,
he forgot that he lives in a
world ravaged with poverty
that was lost and dying
BUT GOD SAID THOU FOOL
THIS NIGHT THY SOUL IS
REQUIRED OF THEE
The man was to die that
night, what an shocking
sentence to a man who, as
he thought, had got just
ready to live and enjoy
himself in a single moment
all his hope was ruined, the
man life was required and
demanded by GOD, the
man was called a fool by
GOD, he lived as a fool, lived
entirely for himself, he had
refuse to think about the
uncertainty of life, and his
soul summoned to GOD and
to give up his account.
THEN WHOSE SHALL THOSE
THINGS BE WHICH THOU
HAST PROVIDED
Not his own, for he can
carry nothing with him: nor
does he know whose they
will be, whether the persons
he designed them for, or
some other whom he hated
, and would have prevented
their enjoyment from them,
the man left every penny
behind, he took nothing
with him, he could take
nothing with him.
SO IS HE THAT LAYETH UP
TREASURE FOR HIMSELF
Such a fool is he had no
divine account : no riches
laid up in heaven , his
affection are all fixed on this
world, and he has none for
GOD, he lay up treasure for
himself- here on earth and
is not rich towards GOD in
act of godliness and
compassion, which secured
a fund of treasure ,lodged in
the hand of GOD
That the man who is
trusting to his riches in this
manner is a fool in the sight
of GOD and he will be a fool
and go to HELL.
That riches cannot secure
their arrogant owner from
the grave, death will come
upon them suddenly,
unexpectedly, awfully , in
the very midst of the
brightest expectation, in a
moment, in twinkling of an
eye ity may come, and all
the wealth that has been
accumulated cannot
alleviate or prolong life for
a moment.
Believers should focus his
life in the path of true
wisdom by seeking first the
kingdom of GOD and his
righteousness, and to be
ready anytime we are called
away to meet our Judge, if
our affection are not fixed in
our riches, we shall leave
them without regret if our
treasures are laid up in
heaven, death will be but
going home, and happy will
be that moment when we
are called to our rest.
