8)Again the Devil taketh
him up into and exceeding
high mountain, and
showeth him all the
kingdom of the world, and
the glory of them
9)And saith unto him, all
these things will I give thee,
SHOW HIM ALL THE
KINGDOM OF THE WORLD
AND THE GLORY OF THEM
The third temptation of
JESUS CHRIST was to prove
his deity by compromised
his ministry and mission, he
was tempted to secure the
 
if thou wilt fall down and
worship me
10)Then saith JESUS unto
him, get thee hence Satan:
for it is written, thou shalt
worship the LORD thy GOD,
and him only shalt thou
serve
11)Then the devil leaveth
him, and behold, angels
came and ministered unto
him
world without the cross,
without paying the price, he
was tempted to choose
another way instead of
GOD’S way to achieve his
purpose by another route,
he was to be attracted to
use the wrong means for
reaching the end of
universal sovereignty , if he
bowed down and
worshipped the devil, the
kingdoms of the world and
the loyalty of men were to
be his.
JESUS CHRIST was tempted
to compromise his life and
his loyalty, he was tempted
to switch loyalties, he was
offered the world and the
sovereign leadership of the
world if he will just do one
thing; worship the devil, to
acknowledge his
dependence on him Satan
rather than GOD, arrogates
to himself what was GOD”S
alone, which eventually will
allow the world and man to
remain corruptible and
dying with no hope of
eternal life with GOD, it is
to allow the world to
continue as it is, and to
allow the devil to continue
his work within the world in
order to frustrate GOD”S
eternal plan for the world.
There are two things with
the reasoning behind this
temptation:
v JESUS CHRIST to
compromised with the
devil and the world and
the world that is not to
be GOD’S way, GOD’S
way is to conquer the
   
corruption and death of
the world
GOD alone is to be
worshipped, not the devil
nor the world and it power
If JESUS CHRIST had given
into this temptation, he
would have failed in :
He would have secured the
kingdoms of this world
through compromise, not
by GOD’S hands, which was
to by the way of the cross
that is the way of GOD , for
the kingdoms by GOD were
to be eternal
v JESUS CHRIS should
shift his loyalty from
GOD to the devil, he
would have forsaken
GOD for this world and
its prince, Satan.
THE BELIERVER MUST
GUIDE AGAINST SATANS’S
PLOY
believer is often tempted
to compromise both his life
and his work, Satan, the
tempter want s a person to
live for the world only, to
ignore his spirit that is
destined to live for ever, he
wants a person’s energy
and efforts, he want a
person given to over to this
world and this life only
Satan lie and deception: the
kingdom of this world are
only temporary- for a few
short years, the life of a
person and the life of the
world is short, ever short, it
will all end
THEN SAITH JESUS GET
THEE HENCE SATAN
The tempter has now
thrown of the mask, and
   
stands forth in his true
character, our LORD no
longer deals with him as a
pretender but call him by
his right name, Satan,, the
savior met with a decided
rebuke, this was a bolder
attack than any which had
been made before, the
order temptations had been
founded on necessities, and
an offer of the protection
of GOD in great danger: in
both cases likely , here was
a higher attempt, a more
absolute and deadly push
at the divinity of the Savior,
which was the proposition
that the SON of GOD should
worship the devil, instead of
honoring and adoring him
who made heaven and
earth:: that he should bow
down before the price of
wickedness and give
homage to him.
It is written in
DEUTERONOMY 6:13 that it
is expressly forbidden, and
JESUS therefore drove him
from his presence
There was the triumphant ,
victories, JESUS CHRIST
resisted the temptation by
doing what exactly GOD
said, he simply obeyed
GOD: therefore he never
got out the will of GOD, the
devil was defeated , and
temptation and sin were
conquered then the devil
left JESUS and some angels
cam e and ministered to
him , not only furnishing
him with proper supplies for
his hunger, but also
congratulating him on so 
illustrious a victory over the
price of darkness:

From that time on more
plainly than ever before
without reveres , JESUS
CHRIST revealed that the
SON of the living GOD was
going to be killed and
raised again from the dead,
never before had so
extraordinary an event
happed, JESUS was telling
his disciples about his death
and resurrection for some
time, but they had not
understood, they were
blind of the idea of suffering
Messiah, which far
different from their own
idea of the Messiah and the
revelation hidden from
them;

JESUS now taught in simple
and direct words, a new
stage in the revelation of
GOD”S plan for the world
was now to be taking place:
GOD’S SON was to die and
to raise again for the sins of
the world, GOD’S plan for
saving the world was to
take place through a
suffering Messiah, not a
conquering Messiah, GOD’S
Messiah was not going to
deliver a materialistic world
into the hand of his
followers, GOD Messiah
was going to die; and
through death, he was
going to user in the
Kingdom of GOD, making it
possible for his followers to
   
live eternally in the very
presence of GOD himself.
The disciples now
understood more fully that
JESUS was the CHRIST, the
son of the living GOD they
have to learn that the real
way to GOD”S kingdom and
glory was through death,
sacrifice, and self-denial.
The part of suffering had to
be taken not only by GOD’
Messiah but also by the
followers of GOD’S Messiah,
JESUS CHRIST death
required total commitment
on his part, his death was
necessary: he must go, are
strong: a necessity was laid
upon CHRIST, he had no
choice but to go to
Jerusalem and suffer, the
death and resurrection had
been planned and willed by
GOD through eternity.
The resurrection of JESUS
CHRIST was necessary,
JESUS predict his
resurrection is clear to his
disciples, which is a new
experience , no one had
ever risen from the dead
never to die again, it was
unprecedented
GET THEE BEHIND ME
SATAN
Peter was rebelling against
the idea of GOD he could
accept JESUS as the SON of
the living GOD, but as
suffering Savior , such an
idea was repulsive and
unacceptable to him, there
he tried to stop the idea
and began to rebuke JESUS
by stopping the idea of
suffering savior, that this
   
suffering and death must
not happen to you, GOD
forbid, at this point Peter
was about to stop the cross,
he was urging CHRIST to be
the Messiah of power,
fame, and sensation whom
the Jews were expecting,
Peter was urging CHRIST to
follow his own human
schemes instead of GOD”s
way.
By such urging he was
tempting CHRIST with the
very same compromises
that Satan use to tempt
CHRIST, the compromise of
power,, fame, and
sensation , he did not
understand that GOD was
planning to save the world
through the death of his
SON JESUS CHRIST, such
behavior is the way of the
world, it is natural carnal
mind, that is a stumbling
block, your advice and
wishes are and spirit are
not such as sping from a
supreme regards to the will
of GOD or from a proper
view of him.
Man rebels and recoils
against the idea of a
suffering Savior who had to
die for the sins of the world,
a savior who demand the
same sacrifice and denial of
his followers, which is the
world idea
Calling Peter Satan because
he was tempting JESUS,
with the same temptation
CHRIST was faced in the
wilderness, this time
temptation is coming from
one of his disciples, when a
   
man refuse to accept GOD’S
plan for life, he become
adversary to GOD, he
oppose GOD’S will.
The cross is not necessary,
JESUS dying to save the
world was useless plan, it
was not needed, this is
what peter was doing and
saying, he was opposing
GOD’S plan JESUS turned to
Peter and stop him with his
tracks, he charged Peter of
being with Satan, with
speaking as Satan, he has
become as Satan, an
adversary to GOD and
GOD’S plan for his son and
for the salvation of the
world.
SELF DENIAL AND TOTAL
COMMITMENT
JESUS demands total
commitment of a man:
A person must will to follow
CHRIST that is desire, wish,
purpose, resolved
determine, it is a
deliberately willing,
determine resolved to
follow CHRIST, if a person
really wills and deliberately
chooses to follow CHRIST a
person must deny self,
means to disown,
disregards, forsake,
renounce, reject, refuse,
restrain, disclaim, do
without, it mean subdue, to
disregard one’s self and
one’s interest and yes to
CHRIST, it means to let
CHRIST rule and reign in his
life, a person must take up
his cross and follow JESUS
JOHN 6:70
70) JESUS answered them,
have not I chosen you
twelve and one of you is a
devil?
71)He spake of Judas
Iscariot the son of Simon:
for he it was that should
betray him, being one of
the twelve
HAVE I NOT CHOSEN YOU
TWELVE? AND ONE IS A
DEVIL
I the Savior, the Messiah,
chosen you, in mercy and
love, chosen out of the
world Judas was not only o
be saved and to be minster
of CHRIST, Judas was called
a devil, slanderous , a false
accuser, an adversary , and
enemy of CHRIST, Judas was
a betrayal , a profess follow
but hypocrites , has the
spirit, the envy and thee
treasonable designs of a
devil.
Judas was and appeared to
be, in the betraying of his
master, Judas, who
notwithstanding his
profession of faith in
CHRIST, was in the hand
and kingdom of Satan, and
under his influence and
power.

2)And supper being ended,
the devil having now put
into the heart of Judas
Iscariot, Simon’s son, to
betray him
THE DEVIL HAVING NOW
PUT INTO THE HEART OF
JUDAS
The devil, the leader or the
prince of evil spirits, having
now put it into the heart
tempted him to betrayed
his Master, Satan’s entering
into Judas and putting it in
his heart in covenanting
with the High priest to do it
for such a sum.
The devil having now put it
into the heart of Judas
Iscariot, Simon’s son, to
betray him: the person
Satan influenced and acted
upon, for his purpose, was
Judas Iscariot, Simons son,
however, this man was a
disciple of JESUS CHRIST,
   
whom Satan tempted to
betray him, so that we see
that the highest office, and
greatest gifts, cannot secure
men from temptation of
Satan: the manner in which
he tempted him was, he
put, or cast it into his heart,
it was a arrow , and a fierce
one, he threw it into him,
into his very heart; which
shows the access Satan has
into, and the influence he
has upon the mind of men;
his end of this temptation is
the work upon him Judas to
betray his Master JESUS
who choose him to be
disciple and invested in him
the high office into the
hand of the enemies, in
other to put to death. It is
the affair determined by
GOD, known by CHRIST
JOHN 13:27
27)And after the sop Satan
entered into him, that thou
doest, do quickly
There is the warning
against betrayal, Judas was
a disciple, a man who ate
with JESUS and was a close
friend of JESUS
Evil possessed Judas; Satan
entered him,, this was a
critical moment, sitting
there, Judas stiffened and
refused to listen, he
hardened his heart and
made the decision:
v To give himself over to
evil and to do the work
of Satan
v To be filled with the
thoughts of wrong and
of Satan
v To act for sin and for
Satan
v To be controlled by evil
and by Satan
   
Judas made the decision to
do as he had planned, he
gave himself over to evil: to
be possessed by Satan
himself, JESUS charge Judas:
to act quickly, once a
person has made a decision
to desert him, JESUS wants
no loitering around, he
wants the traitor and
counterfeit disciple out
from among his fellowship

11)Of judgement, because
the prince of this world is
judged
This is the judgment of
Satan, which was executed
by JESUS CHRIST upon the
cross, it was upon the cross
that JESUS CHRIST judged
and condemned the devil
in all his authority and
power: the death of JESUS
CHRIST was a judgment or a
condemnation of Satan,
JESUS gained the victory
and subdued the great
enemy of man,
Satan is judged and
condemned by the
obedience of CHRIST upon
the cross, what GOD want
is for CHRIST to die for man,
CHRIST himself said, I do
exactly what my FATHER
commanded me

v  T o receive the
judgment of physical
and spiritual death for
man’s sin
v To suffer separation
from GOD for man
The death of JESUS CHRIST
on the cross break the
power and authority over
death, Satan hold the
power over death, it is its
selfish and sinful influence 
that has brought
corruption, decay, and
death to the earth, but
CHRIST has broken the
devils grip over death
forever, his death delivers
man from the fear and
bondage of death.
That man can be freed
from sin and death, that he
can be forgiven for his sins
and given eternal life
through the death of JESUS
CHRIST
REVELATION 12:9
9)And the great dragon
was cast out, that old
serpent, called the Devil,
and Satan, which deciveth
the whole world; he was
cast out into the earth, and
his angels were cast out
with him
AND THE GREAT DRAGON
WAS CAST OUT
Thus the victory of JESUS
CHRIST is marked by the
overthrow of the great
adversary , the death- blow
is given to the prince of the
world that found nothing in
CHRIST, Satan was ejected
from heaven, which is
referred to LUKE 10:13 I
beheld Satan as lighting fall
from heaven
That old serpent: this is
doubtless refers to the
serpent that deceived eve

He was cast out into earth,
Satan and his followers had
been cast out to return
their no more, the
rebellious angels were cast
out with him, Satan which
deceveth the whole world;
by seducing them to
idolatry and superstition
are cast down from their
former estate, accuser of
the brethren; and forger of
slanders
Which deceive the whole
world; which he did by
   
deceiving our first parents;
from all mankind spring,
and in whose lions they
were when they were
deceived.
SATAN :
Satan is called” the great
dragon, that ancient
serpent His name is lucifer,
he was probably one of the
highest angels created by
GOD , but he fell because
of selfishness and pride
ISAIAH 14:12, he is an angel
of light with such deceptive
and seductive power that
even some minister follow
him, minster who
masquerade as servant of
righteousness.
However JESUS CHRIST has
broken by never given to
the devil temptation and by
never sinning, Satan’s
purpose is is making war
against GOD, he want to be
worshiped , to receive more
power of worship of the
universe as possible, Satan
was describe through out
