No man can serve two
masters, whose interest and
commands are directly
opposite of each other,
either you love one or hate
the other
To serve money is to place
such a high value on it that
we may have trust and faith
in money
The danger of accumulating
wealth is that it dominates
one’s mind and life so that
GOD’s kingdom and glory are
no longer important
There are only two treasures
treasure, physical and
material things or Spiritual
things-Mammon or GOD
*Every man without
exception has committed his
life to one of the two
treasures: Mammon or GOD,
he is focusing his heart, eyes,
mind, attention, thoughts
hands, and every upon
heavenly things or earthly
things

MAN NEEDS MORE THAN
BREAD
Man needs more than
bread, He needs more than
physical life and needs
REAL NEED OF MAN,
But Man needs GOD’s life,
he need eternal life and he
needs his Spiritual needs met
through JESUS CHRIST

EARTHLY RICHES:
There are earthly riches,
things on earth that men
desire, JESUS CHRIST call
these earthly riches and
treasure, anything that
dominate a person’s life and
hold it fast to this earth

minded or heavenly minded

flesh do the things of the
flesh; but they that are after
the Spirit the things of the
Spirit

JESUS warns us of another
snare/trap, the love of
money and earthly things:
WHERE MOTH AND RUST
DOTH CORRUPT: where all
things are perishable .
The concern of JESUS CHRIST
is the focus on money,
possessions, martials things,
which we must guard against
centering our life around
house,, cars,, lands, buildings
all things that make up
security and wealth on this
earth
*Nothing in this earth is
secure and lasting, it is aging;
decaying and wasting away,
is all corruptible and
temporal.
Earthly riches are insecure
because They can be stolen
or eaten up, they do not last;
they waste away and the
person cannot take any
single thing when he is
passed from this world

RAVENING WOLVES:
Greedy, hungrily, devouring,
covetousness Who assumed
the appearance of holiness
but full with extortion and
excess
JESUS CHRIST said, watch
out, be vigilant, beware ,
keep yourself, that one of the
things that keep us from
seeking the through life of
salvation and heaven is false
teachers
*The false teacher are out
for personal gain
recognition, ego, recognition,
fame, prestige, position

DECEITFULNESS OF RICHES
CHOKE THE WORD OF GOD
THORNS- are deceitfulness of
riches, which is worldly riches
and deceive in many ways:
Riches- make a person self
confident and keep him from
trusting GOD
Riches- Consume ones’ mind
and make him less concern of
things of GOD and the
Kingdom
Riches- is misplaced and
misinterpreted to leads man
into false idea of security by
worldly blessing

TAKING CARE OF FATHER
AND MOTHER ACCORDING
THE MOSES
Using religion to free
anyone from parental
responsibility
*Using religion as a means of
personal gain
*Man’s tradition and
commandment nullify the
commandment of GOD

The believer must give every
thing to receive eternal life,
one thing that causes many
to lose eternal life, giving to
meet the need of the
ravaging world, he must not
hoard his wealth but
distribute it to the Poor
GOD give riches to help the
Poor and others
