MATTHEW 19:26-29
26)But JESUS beheld them,
and said unto them, with
men this is impossible; but
with GOD all things are
possible
27)Then answered peter and
said unto him, behold, we
have forsaken all, and
followed thee, what shall we
have therefore?
28)And JESUS unto them,
Verily I say unto you, that ye
which have follows me, in the
regeneration when the SON
of man shall sit in the throne
of his glory, he also shall sit
upon twelve thrones, judging
the twelve tribes of Israel
29)And every on that hath
for saken houses or brethren,
or sisters, or father, or
mother, or wife, or children,
or lands for my name’s sake,
shall receive a hundred fold,
and shall inherit everlasting
life
THE RICH MAN CAN HARDLY
ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM
OF GOD
A rich man- love his riches
and make an idol of them or
supreme desire to be rich,
they trust in their riches,
relying on wealth alone- it is
impossible that he should be
a Christian, for Christianity is
love of GOD than the world
THE DIFFICULTY IN THE WAY
OF SALVATION
That riches engross
the affections
That people consider
wealth as the chief
good, and when this
is obtained they think
they have gained all
That riches engross
the time, and fill the
mind with cares and
anxieties, and leave
little for GOD
That they often
produce luxury,
dissipation and vice,
that it is very difficult
to obtain wealth
without sin,
covetousness, fraud
and oppression
THE REWARDS OF
BELIEVERS- SELF DENIAL

But JESUS beheld them
Looking wishfully and
earnestly at them; signifying
thereby, that knew their
reasoning among
themselves, though they did
not speak out to be heard by
him; and that there was no
reason why they should be in
so much concern, as their
countenances showed or
possess themselves with such
fears:
And he said unto them, with
men this is impossible; for
with GOD all things are
possible to be done by him, if
he will, which are consistent
with the glory and
perfections of his nature: for
as he could, by his mighty
power of grace he can work
upon a rich man’s heart, in
such a manner, as to take off
his affections from his
worldly substance, and cause
him to drop his trust and
confidence in it: he can so
influence and dispose his
mind as to distribute his
riches cheerfully among the
poor, and largely, and
liberally supply their wants,
and even part with all, when
necessity requires it
He can change his heart, and
cause the desire of his soul to
be after true riches of grace
and glory for his need for
Christ and salvation by him
and to deny himself take up
his cross, and follow him, by

submitting to his
commandments
For a rich man must turn to
GOD and his power, GOD is
the only hope for a rich man,
only GOD can break a rich
man’s enslavements to this
earth- Only GOD can convert
and change turn and save the
rich man from the danger of
doom and the doom of
wealth
THE DISCIPLE FEAR? AND
REASSURANCE BY JESUS
Peter Said, LORD, we have
left everything to followed
you!, we have surrendered
all to you, what then will
there be for us? Shall we
receive eternal life? JESUS
CHRIST teach wonderful
truth, he say all who follow
him could be rest assured
they will be enormously
rewarded
REGENERATION
JESUS said that ye which
have followed me in the
generation-During this time
and the state of things, in
which are to be regenerated
:and created anew birth or
being born, when the heart is
renewed again by the gospel
and the earth is to be
renewed in righteousness by
believers:
The believer will
reign and rule with
JESUS CHRIST
The believer will have
a great reward
MATTHEW 3:9
9)And think not to say
within yourselves, we have
Abraham to our father: for I
say unto you, that GOD is
able of these stones to raise
up children unto Abraham
THINK NOT TO SAY WITHIN
YOURSELVES ABRAHAM TO
OUR FATHER
They regarded it as sufficient
righteousness that they were
descended from so holy a
man as Abraham that you are
Abraham seed and free from
judgment of GOD they were
in a state of nationalistic
salvation as they rest much
upon their descent from
Abraham they entitle
themselves to the covenant.
John assured the matter was
a small consequence in the
sight of GOD , that GOD is
able of these stones to raise
up children unto Abraham
To raise up seed, to beget
children for another who are
to be called by his name.
You think that because you
are the only Church of GOD
upon earth, and if you were
destroyed GOD would then
have no seed of Abraham to
show mercy to, and keep his
covenant with, that
judgment shall not come
upon you.
*But mistake it not, that
GOD who raised Adam from
the dust of the earth, and
Children to Abraham from
the dead womb of Sarah,
can, if he please, breathing
and sanctify these stones,
which are before your eyes
and transform them into
children of Abraham to
inherit the kingdom.
JEREMIAH 32: 17
17)Ah LORD GOD! Behold,
thou hast made the heaven
and the earth by thy great
power and stretched out
arm, and there is nothing too
hard for thee
THERE IS NOTHING TO HARD
FOR THEE
NEHEMIAH 9:6
6)Thou, even thou, art LORD
alone; thou hast made
heaven, the heavens of
heavens, with all their host,
the earth, and all things that
are therein, and thou
preservest them all; and the
host host of heaven
worshipeth thee

GENESIS 18:9-14
9)And they said unto him,
where is Sarah thy wife? And
he said, behold, in the tent
10)And he said, I will
certainly return to thee
according to the time of life;
and, lo Sarah thy wife shall
have a son, and Sarah heard
it in the tent door, which was
behind him
11)Now Abraham and Sarah
were old and well stricken in
age; and it ceased to be with
Sarah after the Manner of
woman
12)Therefore Sarah laughed
with herself, saying, after am
waxed old shall I have
pleasure, my Lord being old
also
13)And the LORD said unto
Abraham, wherefore did
Sarah laugh, saying, shall I of
a surety bear a child, which
am old?
14)Is any thing too hard for
the LORD? At the time
appointed I will return unto
WHERE IS SARAH THY WIFE:
indicating that the visit had a
special reference to her,
behold in the tent, attending
to business of family
description of a good house
wife a keeper of home Titus
2:5
ACCORDING TO THE TIME OF
LIFE:
I will certainly return unto
thee, and visit thee according
to the time of life- the time
of birth, when the child
comes to manifest life, that
is, nine months hence, and,
in fulfilment of GOD
promise, Sarah shall have a
son at the time specified.
Sarah hears this with
doubtful surprise, and laughs
with doubt as she has past
child bearing age, she laugh
within her self:
Both Abraham’s body and
Sarah’s womb are expressly
said to be dead
Romans 4:19

thee according to the time of
life, and Sarah shall have a
son
Now Abraham and Sarah
were old, and well stricken in
age, the one being ninety
nine years of age, and the
other eighty nine; and which
is observe to make it more
surprising that they should
have a son at such age and
what follows still more so:
and ceased to be with Sarah
after the manner of women,
her monthly visitors/period
has left her, so that she was
unfit for conception, and
there could be no hope of it
in a natural way.
SARAH LAUGH WITHIN
HERSELF
Sarah laughed within herself,
not a laughter faith but of
doubting , the great
objection from Sarah- I AM
WAXED OLD- And past child
bearing age in a course of
nature , especially having
being barren, which
magnifies the difficulty, and
My Lord is old also, Shall I
have pleasure, in conception,
or rather in having a Son, and
in suckling and nursing him,
and bringing him up.
AND THE LORD SAID
WHEREFORE DID SARAH
LAUGH- By showing that he
knew what Sarah did
secretly, in another
apartment of the tent, which
should have convinced
Abraham of the speaker’s of
Divine presence – Saying
shall I of a surely bear a child,
whilst I am old

IS ANYTHING TOO HARD
FOR THE LORD
Whose power is infinite; or
too wonderful, so wonderful
beyond all belief, that it can
never be thought it will be
done by him, incredible and
impossible that Sarah should
have a child though she is
old?
Is anything too hard for the
LORD? At the time appointed
I will return unto thee,
according to the time of life,
and Sarah shall have a Son
GENESIS 21:1
1)And the LORD visited
Sarah as he had said, and the
LORD did unto Sarah as he
had spoken
2)For Sarah connived, and
bear Abraham a son in his old
age at the set time of which
GOD had spoken to him
3) And Abraham called the
name of his son that was
born unto him, whom Sarah
bare to him Isaac.
THE LORD VISITED SARAH AS
HE SAID
And the LORD visited Sarah
as he had said in a way of
mercy and kindness by
fulfilling his promise and
giving strength to conceive
and bear a child, Isaac is born
according to promise, which
is very difficult and seemingly
impossible
NUMBERS 11:23
23)And the LORD said unto
Moses, is the LORD’s hand
waxed short? Thou shalt see
now whether my word shall
come to pass or not
IS THE LORD’S HAND WAXED
SHORT
Is the divine power
diminished? Since his
creation, when he formed all
things out of nothing, and
what is it then he is not able
to do? Since he wrought the
wonders in Egypt, divide the
Red sea, rained down manna
from heaven, and smote the
rock at Horeb, from hence
waters flowed sufficient for
all this people and flocks and
herds; and he that did all this
could give them flesh that

would suffice them a whole
month.
Thou shall see now whether
my word shall come to pass
unto thee or no, whether I
am able to make good my
promise, a short time will
decide
ISAIAH 50:2
2)Wherefore, when I came,
was there no man? When I
called, was there none to
answer? Is my hand
shortened at all, that it
cannot redeem? Or have I no
power to deliver? Behold, at
my rebuke I dry up the sea, I
make the rivers a wilderness:
their fish stinketh, because
there is no water, and dieth
thirst
3)I clothe the heavens with
blackness, and I make
sackcloth their covering
WHEREFORE WHEN I CAME,
WAS THERE NO MAN:-
That is when I came to call
you to repentance by sending
my servant, the prophets,
there was no man that
regard my message and offer
of grace, and complied with
my will, why was there no
man, he called them to
repentance, but no one
heard his voice.
WHEN I CALLED: them to
repentance and reformation,
there was none to come
None came at my call or
obey my commandment.
IS MY HAND SHORTENED AT
ALL
Is my hand shortened at all,
that it cannot redeem? Or
have I no power to deliver?

BEHOLD THE LORD’S HAND
IS NOT SHORTENED:
The LORD , he is not grown
weaker than former times, as
omnipotent as ever he was:
this is applied to GOD
bringing out the believer
that he cannot save him , his
hands, the sum is to show
that the fault is not in GOD,
for his hand was able to help
as ever, and able to and able
to reach our enemies in great

nor any pleadeth for truth;
they trust in vanity, and

mischief, and bring forth
iniquity:

distance, and to do
everything for us his power is
great as ever and cannot be

lays in their sins.
NEITHER HIS EAR HEAVY; of

and cannot hear.
But the obstruction is our

to them and answered to
