10)And the brethren
immediately sent away Paul
and Silas by the night unto
Berea: who coming thither
went into synagogue of the
Jews
11)These were more noble
than those in Thessalonica, in
that they received the word
with all readiness of mind,
and searched the scriptures
daily, whether those things
were so
12)Therefore many of them
believed; also, of honorable
women which were Greeks,
and of men no a fe
SEARCH THE WORD OF GOD
DAILY (SPIRITUAL
RECEPTIVITY)
Believers are to carefully
expound on the word of GOD
with diligence by personally
studing the scripture to shift
up and down the truth of
every word and every
scripture and doctrine
should be properly examined
with the word of GOD.
The people of Berea where
exemplary in their attitude ,
for they were open-minded
and eager to lean, good
listeners, diligent Bible
student, and thoughtful
people, teachable in things of
GOD, who searched the
scripture for themselves to
verify the message they have
heard, always to compare
what they have heard with
what the bible says, if it
contradicts the word of GOD
BELIEVER MUST:
§ Must receive the
word of GOD with all
readiness and open
mindedness
§ Search the Scripture
daily to know the
truth
§ Compare what is
written and believe in
what is written in the

Scripture and abide in
it
As the result of their
examination in search of the
true word of GOD in the
Bible, they not only heard
Paul preach , but daily
searched the scriptures and
compared what they read
with the facts related to
them
2 CORINTHIANS 3:14-16
14)But their minds were
blinded; for until this day
remaineth the same veil
untaken away in the reading
of the old testament; which
veil is done away in CHRIST
15)But even unto this day,
when Moses is read, the veil
is upon their heart
16)Nevertheless, when it
shall turn to the LORD, the
veil shall be taken away
BUT THEIR MINDS WERE
BLINDED
They the religionist their
minds were hardened for
they have lost ability to
understand for until this very
day they don’t understand
the true sense of the
scripture and the doctrine
with regards to the Messiah .
In the Manifestation of
JESUS CHRIST the Messiah,
the veil is removed, that is
the veil of blindness by the
his Spirit of grace, and
through the light of the
Gospel of JESUS CHRIST,
shining into the heart; and so
dispels that blindness and
ignorance which is in the
understanding, whereby the
books of the Old Testament
are understood appear, to
agree exactly with the Gospel
of CHRIST, in the book of the
new Testament and at the
reading of the old covenant,
they shut their eyes to the
light, they become blind to
the fact of the Old covenant
that CHRIST is the end of the
law

THE VEIL SHALL BE TAKEN
AWAY
When the unbelieving
nations and individuals shall
be converted, that their
blindness is remove and they
turn to GOD, and shall
understand his promises and
refer to the LORD JESUS
CHRIST as the incarnate SON
of GOD, and the true Messiah
that is the way to salvation
and eternal life
2 CORINTHIANS 9:6-9
6)But this I say, he which
soweth sparingly shall reap
also sparingly; and he which
soweth bountifully shall reap
also bountifully
7)Every man according as he
purposeth in his heart, so let
him give; not grudgingly, or
of necessity; for GOD loveth
a cheerful giver
8)And GOD is able to make
all grace abound towards
you; that ye always having all
sufficiency in all things, may
abound to every good works
9)As it is written, he hath
dispersed abroad; he hath
given to the poor; his
righteousness remaineth for
ever
BUT THIS I SAY HE WHICH
SOW: Believers can give
either generously or
scantily it is the spirit of
giving that counts
FOR GOD LOVES A CHEERFUL
GIVER
Cheerfulness in giving is
weighed with giving
reluctantly out of sorrow or
in respond to pressure
THINGS A MAN MUST DO IN
GIVING
o He must give willingly
from the heart
o He must not give
grudgingly
o He must not give of
compulsion
o He must give
cheerfully
A man that sows little must
expect to reap little, if he
sows a small piece of land he
will reap a small harvest; or if
he is stubborn In sowing and
wishes to save his seed and
will not commit it to the
earth, he must expect to reap
little.

Money given in alms, money
given to aid the poor and
needy, is like a seed
committed to the earth, it
will be returned again in
some way with an abundant,
not with of grief; with pain or
uneasiness of mind nor of
force, so the money given to
object of compassion will
increase as GOD will reward
his people from heaven
abundantly for their kindness
to the poor, and all self
denial.
EVERY MAN ACCORDING TO
HOW HE PROPOSED IN HIS
HEART
The main idea in this verse
is, that the act of giving
should be voluntary and
cheerful, it should be giving
as offering of the heart, the
inborn prompting of a
benevolent heart is giving
generously, when it is the
object of charity,
TO MAKE ALL GRACE
ABOUND TOWARDS YOU
GOD can give you such
abundant blessing enjoyed in
time and eternity, that you
will not feel the loss of a
generous contribution to his
service, who is able to furnish
you abundantly with what is
needful for the supply of
your necessities, all kind of
favour, he is able to impart to
you those things which are
needful for your welfare and
having
ISAIAH 55:3
3)Incline your ear, and come
unto me hear, and your soul
shall live; and I will make an
everlasting covenant with
you,even the sure mercies of
David
INCLINE YOUR EAR AND
COME UNTO ME
GOD command us to come
to him with our ears wide
open listen, to be obedient,
that is to attend to his
command and embrace his
promises and you will find
life, it stands oppose to death
of sin- to spiritual and eternal
death, I will make an
everlasting covenant with
you.
GOD will bind himself to be
our GOD, our protector, our
guide and redeemer, this
covenant will be made to all
who come to him, even that
covenant which was made
first with Abraham, and
David concerning those
glorious and sure mercies or
blessing which GOD hath
promised to his people, one
and the chief of which
mercies was giving through
CHRIST to die for our sins,
and rise again, which
concerned him and his
eternal kingdom
I will give all the unfailing
love I promise
JAMES 1:25
25)But whoso looketh into
the perfect law of liberty, and
continueth therein, he being
not a forgetful hearer, but a
doer of the work, this man
shall be blessed in his deed
BUT WHOSO LOOK INTO THE
PERFECT LAW OF LIBERTY
The believer who looks
carefully into the perfect law,
the law of liberty, because it
is clear, concise, full, having
no deficiency, that shows the
way to the freedom from sin
and the bondage of
ceremonial law the way of
serving GOD freely, as
oppose to the ceremonial
law, which was yoke of
bondage.
That he fixes his eyes upon,
it, examine with accuracy,
and search all things,
meditate and do not move
away from the hope of the
Gospel, nor carried about
with divers and strange
doctrine: but established in
the faith, stand fast in it and
abides by it; or continue
looking at it faithfully, not
becoming a careless listener
who forgets.
But takes things he hears
and see, being conscious of
the weakness of his memory,
implores the divine spirit to
being to remembrance and
bring to mind with fresh
power and light, what he has
heard, but an active doer,
who labor with love and
patience, who obeys, he will
be Blessed and favored by
GOD in what he does in his
life of obedience
HEBREWS 2:1
1)Therefore we ought to give
the more earnest heed to the
things which we heard, lest
at any time we should let
them slip
THEREFORE WE OUGHT TO
GIVE THE MORE EARNEST
HEED TO THINGS WE HEAR
Because we are heirs of a
better covenant,
administered not by Angels
but by the SON of GOD, to
whom as Mediator and
absolute dominion is
assigned
Believers must pay close
attention to GOD’S revelation
to us in CHRIST, because of
GOD’S final revelation in HIS
SON JESUS CHRIST, we must
beware of that which is
wicked and evil and pay
much close attention than
ever to the things that we
have heard, directly from
JESUS CHRIST or from his
apostles, we have to attend
to those things at all times,
so that we will never forget
them; never to be indifferent
to them, so that we w do not
in any way drift away from
the truth
