PRACTICAL APPLICATION

LUKE 13:23-24
23)Then said one unto him,
LORD are there few that be
saved? And he said unto
them
24)Strive to enter in at the
strait gate; for many, I say
unto you will seek to enter
in, and shall not be able

ARE THEY FEW WHO WILL BE
SAVED
The general tone was as a
result of the kingdom of
GOD message, which
someone alone the way,
asked him LORD, are they
only few people that are
going to be saved?
*JESUS taught that
nationality and ritual had
nothing to do with salvation,
birth and ritual are not
enough to save a person, not
even if ritual is circumcision
for (JEW) or Baptism for (For
Christian) Baptism no more
save a person born with
Christian circles
*Many are curious, but not
curious enough to really seek
after the LORD for personal
salvation, they are ready and
willing to discuss religious
subjects but unwilling to
deny themselves and to
diligently seek after GOD
STRIVE TO ENTER THE
NARROW GATE
The save must struggle to
enter in the the strait gate ,
the way to salvation is only
one way, there is only one
way to be saved.3
The way to salvation is strait
it is not crooked in direction
or purpose, it is straight way
to be saved, a person has to
struggle, make every effort to
be saved
That is to struggle, exert to
the fullest, labor fervently,
whole-hearted dedicated and
effort are required so you
have to work out your
salvation .
The person must believe
totally on the believe of GOD,
that GOD do exist and focus
his heart set upon GOD
Many will seek to enter the
straight gate, but will not
able to, if not struggle, make
effort to pay the price of self
denial because it cost much
to give up the world

18)He that believeth on him
is not condemned already,
because he hath not believed
in the name of the only
begotten SON of GOD
19)And this is the
condemnation, that light is
come into the world, and
men loved darkness rather
than light, because their
deeds were evil
20)For every one that doeth
evil hateth the light, neither
cometh to the light, lest his
deeds should be reproved
HE THAT BELIEVETH ON HIM
IS NOT CONDEMNED
JESUS- STRAIGHT GATE
He that believeth- He that
had confidence in JESUS and
his merit of his Salvation.
The believer is not
condemned, the person who
believe on JESUS CHRIST and
diligently seeking CHRIST,
GOD will save any man who
will believe and seek and
honor his SON
The believer is released from
condemnation because he
believes on CHRIST
The believer believes that
CHRIST died for his sin, in his
place, as a substitute, paying
the penalty for his sin (Which
was Death)
CONDEMNATION4
The unbeliever judgment is
sure, he is already
condemned, nothing can
change the Judgment coming
upon the unbeliever
The unbeliever is already
under the present curse of
sin, he is:
*Separated from
CHRIST
*Excluded from
citizenship with the
people of GOD
*He is without hope
*He is without GOD
in the
world(EPH.2:12
The unbeliever already
stands guilty of all the sins he
has ever committed; he is
already condemned, the
judgment is already
pronounced, because he
believes not in the doctrine
of JESUS CHRIST and receive
Him as savior.
The unbeliever must pay the
penalty for every
transgression of GOD’s Law,
he is already under the curse,
the full of the law
The unbeliever is condemned
because Light has come into
the world, to give light to
men, to enable men to walk
out of darkness of a sinful
and perishing world
The light (JESUS) came to
show men the way the truth,
and the life, that is teachings,
doctrine, instruction that
which GOD give us by
revelation:5
Ø The light shows man
the way GOD intends
for him to live
Ø The light shows man
the truth of life, that
is, the truth of GOD
and of man and of the
world that surrounds
man
Ø The light shows man
the life, that is, how
to save his life and
avoid the things that
cause him to stumble
and lose his life
Ø The truth any man
who does not turn
and walk in the light is
naturally in the dark,
he is condemned to
darkness and all to
those that walk in
darkness
MEN LOVE DARKNESS
The unbeliever is
condemned because he loves
darkness, because his deeds
are evil, and to turn and walk
in the light would expose his
evil deeds for what they are:
immoral, unrighteousness,
and disobedient to GOD
The unbeliever loves his sin ,
if he turns to light we will
give up sin:
- He loves the feeling
of sin
- He loves stimulation
of sin
- He loves the comfort
of sin
- He loves the
recognition, fame , 6
pride, power, the
possession
- The things which sin
brings, he loves them
not to give it up, he is
enslaved in the
bondage of sin and
lost in darkness.

SALVATION
Men are saved by hearing
the word of JESUS CHRIST
not just external hearing but

obedience to the doctrine/

he says.

WHOSOEVER EAT MY FLESH

HATH ETERNAL LIFE
Unless a man receives (eat
and drinks) JESUS CHRIST he
has no life in within him, he
is a dead man Spiritually and
eternally , he walk around as
a dead man: Physically he is
in the process of aging and
dying, and living in the ream
of death
True satisfaction comes from
receiving JESUS CHRIST into
one’s life, and it comes only
through JESUS CHRIST, just as
the real life on earth comes
from eating and drinking
food, so also real real and
abundant life comes from
eating and drinking JESUS
CHRIST:
A believer must receive
JESUS CHRIST in most
intimate and nourishing
sense, in order to have
through life, life that is
abundance and full of:
Love, Compression, mercy,
gentleness, peace, courage,
faith, joy, goodness, strength,
meekness, self-denial.
That is believer who
partakes of JESUS CHRIST
continually, day by day, the
man will eat , upon JESUS
CHRIST, it is the man that is
promised of eternal life,
which includes:
Ø Abundant and
eternal life
Ø The defeat of death
Ø The resurrection
It means to abide, continue,
being of the person dwell,
rest in or upon JESUS CHRIST,
the person receives JESUS
CHRIST into his being, and
CHRIST enter the person’s life
and remains within him

JESUS CHRIST is the source
of abundant life, an
abundant life can flow out
from a person that is rivers of
living water.
JESUS CHRIST is of the HOLY
Spirit, rivers of living water
refer to the Holy Spirit, JESUS
spoke of giving ‘LIVING
WATER’, he meant he would
give the Holy Spirit to a
person, the presence of the
Holy Spirit out of our heart
flows: joy, knowledge,
spiritual gifts or grace, of
course, meant the
experience of abundant and
external life,
Living water comes only
through believing in JESUS
CHRIST, the death of JESUS
CHRIST is the source of the
living water, out of the death,
he was able to rise, and by
arising he was able to
conquer sin and death and to
bring eternal life in all
abundance.
JESUS CHRIST as a living
water purifies, cleanse; it
refreshes and it revitalizes or
energizes.
The holy spirit was present in
in his fullness after the death
and the glorification of JESUS
CHRIST:
- In the lives of
believers all the time
- In its fullness
- In equipping believers
with permanent
spiritual gift
