LOVE, COMPASSION AND
RITUALS
THE LAW OF LOVE-exceeds
all offering and Sacrifices, a
man who is more concerned
about offering and Sacrifice
focuses on rituals,
ceremonies, rules and
regulation more of external
religion of man worship.
The law of love is so great
that is almost secure
salvation as JESUS CHRIST
said so “Your are not far from
the kingdom of GOD
NOT FAR FROM THE
KINGDOM OF GOD
It is when the believer prefer
the Internal to the External
worship of GOD, which
focuses on loving our of
neighbor that rest the law
and the prophet as instituted
by JESUS CHRIST
*Is more than all whole
burnt offering and sacrifice;
that is more excellent in their
nature, and acceptable to
GOD and more useful among
men than all the rituals of
ceremonial law,
*Love of GOD and the Love
of our neighbor is well
pleasing to GOD

SACRIFICE AND OFFERING
GOD HATES
Sacrifice and offering thou
did not desire-when offered
without faith in CHRIST, and
with a wicked mind, to merit
any thing at the hand of
GOD, they were always
abominable to him, and GOD
prefer Love and to neighbor,
obedience to moral law and
the works of mercy to men,
before any sacrifice
Samuel has already
preached the doctrine, to
obey is better than sacrifice
1 SAMUEL 15:22 and
ISAIAH said they are a
wearing and abomination
(ISAIAH 1:11-12) if the love of
GOD to show mercy and
compassion to the needy.

17)The sacrifice of GOD are a
broken spirit; a broken and a
contrite heart, o GOD, thou

FOR THOU DESIRED NOT

GOD did not desire such
sacrifice, he demanded the
expression of deep and
sincere repentance, no
offering without it will be
accepted or secured pardon
THE SACRIFICE OF GOD
The Sacrifice which GOD
desire and approve is with a
contrite and humble heart
A BROKEN SPIRIT- A heart
deeply affected and grieved
for sin, humbled under sense
of GOD’S displeasure, and
earnestly seeking and willing
to accept reconciliation with
GOD
As against or oppose to hard
or stony heart, which
signifies a heart insensible of
the burden of sin stubborn
and rebellious to GOD

FOOLISH WORSHIP
But be not vain and foolish
as to believe that thou hast
lay any obligation upon me
by thy sacrifices or I require
them, but I have no pleasure
in them
However dependable in
external worship, it was
offered as if they conferred
an obligation in giving GOD
his own and degrading view
of him as needing it.
Reproving them for such
foolishness and blasphemous
notions, he teach them to
sacrifice, by the worship
through a sincere heart, faith
and the love of GOD
I KNOW THE FOWLS OF THE
MOUNTAINS I KNOW
WHERE THEY ARE
I know all the fowls of the
mountains, GOD not only
know them he take care of
them, not a sparrow fails to
the ground without his
knowledge, therefore
needed not their turtledoves,
pigeons and the wild beast
that are used for sacrifice are
owned by GOD and under
GOD’S command

TO WHAT PURPOSE IS THE
MULTITUDE OF YOUR
SACRIFICE ONTO ME:
The religionist rejects the
weightier matter of the law,
they diligently observe
ceremonial laws of rituals,
rules, manmade doctrine,
they are vain and useless,
being not acceptable nor
beneficial to GOD
There are such canal
obligation,
WHO HATH REQUIRED THIS
AT YOUR HANDS
Only to offer external
sacrifices, without true
repentance for your sin, with
faith in my promise, with
hearty love to me, and
sincere resolution of
devoting your self to my
service of love ,mercy and
compassion
TO TREAD MY COURTS?
In that unbecoming and
hypocritical way they did,
and with such wicked hearts
and bloody hands
BRING NO MORE VAIN
OBLIGATION
I neither desire nor will
accept of any upon these
oblation –GOD expresses his
strong abomination of the
manner in which it was done.
GOD desired a better state of
mind; he preferred purity of
heart to all this external
sacrifice that is vain offering
of vanity – offerings which
were hollow, false, deceitful
and hypocritical.
IS AN ABOMINATION
Is hateful, or an object of
abhorrence; that is, as it was
offered by them, with hollow
service, and with hypocritical
hearts
only approved yourselves to
men, but on to GOD, who
search your hearts and
actions
LEARN TO DO WELL
Being to live soberly,
righteously and godly, to
learn to maintain good works
for necessary uses, and
particularly to do acts of
generosity to all men.
SEEK JUDGMENT;
Show your religion to GOD,
by studying and practice to
men, and neither give nor
procure any unrighteous
judgment
RELIEVE THE OPPRESS:
Be not only just ,but merciful
and compassionate, the poor
that are oppressed by their
neighbors that are richer and
mightier than they, right
their wrong and deliver them
out of the hand of their
oppressors
JUDGE THE FATHERLESS
Defend and deliver them. Do
justice to them who have
none to take care of them,
and defend them
PLEAD FOR THE WIDOW
Maintain the righteous cause
of the widow that is
deserted and has no one to
plead her cause, and of poor
and helpless persons, against
their unjust and potent
adversaries, whereby you
show love to justice and
mercy, and you fear GOD
more than men,
YOUR RELIGIOUS PROGRAM

SOUL HATE
That is your assemblies
convened regular set time,
Sabbath, Passover,
Pentecost, day of
atonements and feast of
tabernacles my soul hate,
they are a trouble, they are
act of hypocrisy and sin had
become so numerous, I am
weary of them, is a heavy
oppressive burden
WHEN YE SPREAD FORTH
YOUR HANDS
When you ask for help , due
to your numerous sins,
denote crime, and guilt of a
high order- as murderer,
injustice, covetousness,
oppression of the poor,
widow, fatherless, GOD will
not hear them .
When you spread forth your
hand GOD will not answer
WASH YOU MAKE YOU
CLEAN CEASE TO DO EVIL:
Repent, and do work meet
for repentance; cleanse your
hearts and hand from all
filthiness of flesh and do not
contend yourself with
ceremonial work
Either from ceremonial
works done with a wicked
mind, or from outward
immoralities, such as
shedding of innocent blood,
oppressing the fatherless,
poor and widow
Reform yourselves
thoroughly, that you may not

19)Hear, O earth; behold, I
will bring evil upon this
people, even the fruit of their
thoughts, because they have
not hearkened unto my
words, nor to my law, but

there to me incense from

acceptable, nor your
sacrifices sweet unto me

I WILL BRING EVIL UPON
THIS PEOPLE
The fruit of their thought are
wicked imagination and their
heart full of sin .
Because they have not
hearkened onto my words
and my laws, but reject it
TO WHAT PURPOSE IS THE
SACRIFICE
Who please themselves with
hypocrisy, who please
themselves with outward
oblations and sacrifices, .and
though GOD would be
pleased with them, but he
tell them plainly they are to
purpose to him.
Your burnt, offering are not
acceptable, nor your sweet
sacrifice onto me: being
offered with wicked mind,
and without faith in JESUS

host, the GOD of Israel; put
your burnt offering unto your
sacrifices, and eat flesh
22)For I spake not unto your
fathers, nor commanded
them in the day that I
brought them out of the land
of Egypt, concerning burnt
offering or sacrifices
23)But this thing
commanded I them, saying,
obey my voice, and I will be
your GOD, and ye shall be my
people; and walk ye in all the
ways that I have commanded
you, that it maybe well unto
walked in the counsels and in
the imagination of their evil

24)But they hearkened not,
nor inclined their ear, but

PUT YOUR BURNT OFFERING
Put you burnt offerings unto
your sacrifice, and eat flesh,
that is, add one offering to
another; offer every kind of
sacrifice, all is vain as long as
you neglected the
requirement of obedience
and moral purity.
When you have done, eat the
flesh of them yourselves; for
that is the advantage that
comes from them , they are
not acceptable by me
FOR I SPAKE NOT UNTO
YOUR BURNT OFFERING
AND SACRIFICE
But I did not require
sacrifice, unless combine
with moral obedience, all is
in vain as far as it neglect the
requirement of obedience
and moral purity
BUT THIS THING I
COMMANDED THEM
But this thing GOD
commanded obedience to
the moral law, to which was
preferable to sacrifice of the
ceremonial laws
If we are obedient and walk
in all his ways he will be our
GOD and we shall be his
people

For I desired mercy, and not
sacrifice; and the knowledge
of GOD more than burnt
offerings

FOR I DESIRE MERCY AND
NOT SACRIFICE
For I delight in pity and not
sacrifice that is kindness, love
of GOD.
These sacrifices were either
abominable idolaters or
proud hypocrite

By mercy is for man to man,
that act of benevolence,
which must be performed by
us when we have
opportunity, if we will be
children of our FATHER who

THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD
MORE THAN BURNT
OFFERING
Hearty affectionate
knowledge of GOD, which fill
the mind, with his goodness,
Knowledge of GOD’s law,
obedience, mercy and
compassionate as inward
spiritual worship.

13)They sacrifice flesh for
the sacrifice of mine
offerings, and eat it; but the
LORD accepted them not;
now will he remember their
iniquity, and visit their sins;
they shall return to Egypt

THEY SACRIFICE FLESH
They offer sacrifice indeed,
but their sacrifice are not
acceptable to GOD, not being
offered with a godly heart
*These sacrifices, which
according to the law, should
be given to GOD when they
are offered, they did not give
them to GOD, they took
them to themselves, and eat
them, they are canal
offerings, and offered with a
canal mind, without the love
of GOD.

4)They shall not offer wine
offering to the LORD, neither
shall they be pleasing unto
him; their sacrifices shall be
unto them as the bread of
mourners; all that eat
therefore shall be polluted;
for their bread for their soul
shall not come into the house
of the LORD

THEIR SACRIFICE SHALL BE
UNTO THEM AS THE BREAD
OF MOURNERS:
That is the sacrifice is no
more pleasing to GOD
