and when thou hast shut thy
door, pray to thy father

father which seeth in secret

PRAYER: Praying to be heard
by GOD

REASON: pray to the Father

LORD, and said, O LORD my
GOD, hast thou also brought
evil upon the widow with
whom I sojourn, by slaying
her son?
21) And he stretched himself
upon the child three times,
and cried unto the LORD, and
said o LORD my GOD, I pray
thee, let this child’s soul
come into him again
22) And the LORD heard the
voice of Elijah; and the soul
of the child came into him
again, and he revived.

neighbor, even empty vessels

4) And when thou art come
in thou shalt shut the door
upon thee and upon thy
sons, and shalt pour out into
all those vessels, and thou
shalt set aside that which is
full
5) So she went from him,
and shut the door upon her
and upon her sons, who the
vessels to her; and she
poured out
6) And it came to pass, when
the vessel were full, that she
said unto her son, bring me
yet a vessel. And he said unto
her, there is not a vessel
more and the oil stayed
7) then she came and told
the man of GOD. And he said,
go, sell the oil, and pay thy
debt, and live thou and thy
children of the rest

handmaid for a daughter of
Belial: for out of the
abundance of my complaint

said, go in peace; and the
GOD of Israel grant thee thy
petition that thou hast asked
of him
18) And she said, let thine
handmaid find grace in thy
sight, so the woman went
her way, and did eat, and her
countenance was no more
sad.

Amoz sent to Hezekiah,

LORD concerning the King of
Assyria, He shall not come
into this city, nor shoot an
arrow there, nor come
before it with shield, nor cast
a Bank against it
33) By the way that he came,
by the same shall he return,
and shall not come into this
city, saith the LORD
34) For I will defend this city,
to save it, for mine own sake,
and for my servant David’s
sake
35) And it came to pass that
night, that the angel of the
LORD went out, and smote in
the camp of the Assyrians an
hundred four score and five
thousand; and when they
arose early in the morning,

Assyria departed, and went

house of Nisroch his god,
that Adrammelech and
Sharezer his sons smote him
with the sword; and they

Armenia, and Esarhaddon his
son reigned in his stead
