1)We then that are strong
ought to bear the
infirmities of the weak,
and not to please
ourselves
2)Let every one of us
please his neighbor for
his good to edification
WE THAT ARE STRONG
OUGHT TO BEAR THE
INFIRMITIES
The believer to bear the
weak along, to support
them, he means those
who have attained to a
good measure of
knowledge and
understanding , to carry
them along as a father or
mother would carry a
child with love and
tenderness,
understanding and care ,
not to please ourselves
but let us please our
neighbor, let us live for his
good and edification , the
believer has the greatest
patten in all the world for
denying and living for his
neighbor; JESUS
CHRIST did not please
himself
LET EVERYONE
PLEASE HIS NEIGHBOR
Let everyone of us please
his neighbors make
himself accommodating
himself to his weakness,
and bear his infirmities,
and deny himself to
please him ,we must
please others, that we
should condescend and
accommodate ourselves
to others, and give them
satisfaction in all things;
at least so far as may
tend to be every man to
please his neighbor, to
edification of our
neighbor , for the
establishment of his
peace, the increase of his
Spiritual light and the
building of him up in his
most holy faith
1 CORINTHIANS 10:33
33)Even as I please all
men in all things, not
seeking mine own profit,
but the profit of many, that
they may be saved
EVEN AS I PLEASE ALL
MEN IN ALL THING
That is in all things within
the law of GOD,
NOT SEEKING MY OWN
PROFFIT
Not seeking my own profit
of worldly advantage of
riches, wealth, the
emolument of life
pleasure advantage,
either the satisfaction of
my own mind or my own
gain, willing to forgo all for
the good of others, but
the advantage of others,
especially in matters that
may in any way affect
them as to their salvation
that they may be saved;
he neglected his own
private advantage, the
believer

3)Let nothing be done
through strife or vainglory;
but in lowliness of mind

LET NOTHING BE DONE
THROUGH STRIVE
Do nothing from
selfishness or empty pride
through factional motives,
or strife the spirit of
contradiction or
contention with personal
glory, wishing to draw the
eyes of others upon
yourself, making
yourselves the subject of
discussion and
admiration, the idea
seems to be that of mere
self-esteem; a mere
desire to honor ourselves
to attract attention, to win
praise to make ourselves
uppermost, or foremost
or the main object, which
is direct opposite to the
love of GOD, but with
in lowliness of mind in
genuine simplicity and
humility ,an attitude of
not being neither
arrogant nor self-
righteous, regard others
as more important than
ourselves, the bible’s
GOD-centered view of
humanity and salvation
places the utmost
importance on humility, to
be humble means we will
conscious of our
weakness and quick to
give credit to GOD what
we accomplish , we must
be humble because we
are sinful apart from
CHRIST and can boast in
nothing except the LORD,
we are dependent on
GOD for our worth and
fruitfulness and can
accomplish nothing
lasting good with out the
help of GOD, as believer
we must live humility
towards one another,
humility reaps
unbelievable benefits,,
humility result in a person
coming to CHRIST and
learning, it result in
conversion, assuring our
entrance into the kingdom
of heaven, humility result
in healthy relationship and
community and social
benefits, it leads better
relation, it encourage and
help others, it motivate
other to grow and do
more, it encourage and
boosts others
The opposite of humility is
pride and arrogance, a
haughty spirit and an
exaggerated feeling of
self-importance;
superiority, self-centered,
overbearing, lording over
Humility requires an
honest evaluation of
oneself, it comes from
knowing ourselves, just
how we really are, it
come from and honest
appraisal of ourselves,
humility begins to come
when we honestly face
ourselves and admit our
self-centeredness,
weakness and courage to
convert and coming to
CHRIST-centered and
people-centered and give
ourselves to the cause
of CHRIST and others.
LET EACH ESTEEM
OTHER BETTER THAN
THEMSELVES
But in lowliness of mind,
let each esteem others
better than themselves;
we are to lay aside
selfishness, treating
others with respect,
considering other’s
interest as more important
than our own,

humbled Himself and
become man he become
a person in the corruptible
world, that knowns little

selfishness, greed, we

life, the same mind that
lead CHRIST to give up
everything He was and
had that very mind has to

envy, disease stealing,
hoarding, extravagance,
immorality if we have to

Do all you can to solve

not only took upon Him

emptied Himself of His

having been made in the

one in low estate not
appearing in splendor, His
whole life was a life of
poverty and suffering, but
the lowest step was dying
the death of the Cross
CHRIST humbled Himself
to the point of utter
humiliation to the very

rewarded GOD highly
exalted Him, CHRIST had
humbled himself in

6)But he giveth more
grace, wherefore he saith,
GOD resisteth the proud,
but giveth grace unto the
humble
BUT HE GIVETH MORE
GRACE
Because of this very
presence of the Holy
Ghost within us, He is the
author and conveyer of all
gift, the grace of GOD will
correct and cure the Spirit
of envy, and of the crimes
which grew out of it, and
various lust which
reigned among men by
nature in us, He confer
more grace
GOD give the humble
believer grace and more
grace, but He opposes
the proud, Grace means
the favor and blessing of
GOD, any favor or
blessing which GOD
gives.
GOD RESIST THE
PROUD AND GIVETH
GRACE UNTO HUMBLE
The proud resist GOD,
the truth about Him, in
their understanding they
resist the truths of GOD;
in their will they resist the
law laws of GOD and in
their passion, the proud
are those who have an
inordinate self-esteem;
who have a high and
excessive self-
importance of their own
excellence or importance,
which may extend to
beauty,, or strength,
attachment of family, or
country, rank material
possession , GOD reject
them who truth in
themselves that they are
righteous, and despise
others, they say I am
holier than you, that are
proud of themselves, their
enjoyments, their gift,
their external
righteousness, their
riches, wealth possession
increase in goods, and
stand need nothing.
But GOD gives grace
unto the humble: who are
sensible of their own
lowness and
unworthiness , and
acknowledge it, who think
the humblest of
themselves, and the best
of others and do not envy
the gift and grace of GOD
bestowed upon others,
but rejoice with them, and
ascribed all they have,
and are, to the free grace
of GOD and innocently
confess the deficiency of
their duties and
insufficiency of their
righteousness to justify
them before GOD now to
these GOD gives grace
which can not be obtained
by work of men: it is the
free gift of GOD is given
of the sovereign will and
good pleasure of GOD, to
whom, and when, and in
what measure GOD
pleases ,

NEITHER AS BEING
LORDS OVER GOD’S
HERITAGE
Neither as being lording
it, over GOD’S heritage,
behaving in a haughty,
domineering manner, an
authority exercised both
wrongly and oppressively
ambitious, for the love of
power, for the sake of
power, over the people,
the believer must willingly
do the will of GOD, he
should not compelled or
coerced GOD’S people,
he must take the
oversight of the not for
personal profit and gain
not greedy for money
BUT BEING ENSAMPLE
TO THE FLOCK
The believer or minster is
to take the oversight of
GOD’S people not as
lord, but by being an
example,
Setting them an example
worthy of their imitation,
and therefore, being of a
meek and lowly, kind and
condescending heart, and
be having toward them
with such gentle, tender,
consideration of their
salvation, the believer has
been assigned to feed
the heritage of GOD, the
very flock that belong to
GOD Himself, not as
dictator, not as false
preacher or teacher, he
must lead people living for
CHRIST, he is to live and
preach CHRIST by living
a pure and righteous life
just like CHRIST lived, he
is to be a model and a
pattern for CHRIST just
as GOD want His people
to be
AND WHEN THE CHIEF
SHEPHERD SHALL
APPEAR JESUS is the
chief shepherd, and He is
going to appear, that is
He is going to return to
earth to reward the faithful
believer
to judge the world for
those who have
discharged their duties
faithfully , shall receive
the crown of glory, which
means that the faithful
believer shall share in the
glory of heaven and be
crowned with a very
special portion of glory by
assigning of heavenly
service ,the crown that
fadeth not away: but the
crown of glory, the reward
to be given to faithful
shepherds, will never
fade, being a crown of
righteousness
CLOTHE YOURSELVES
WITH HUMILITY
All believers are to submit
themselves to one
another, to each other,
they are to acknowledge,
respect, and honor one
another by clothes
ourselves humility, the
picture which JESUS did
in the upper room when
He girded Himself with an
apron and assumed to
role of a servant and
wash the feet of the
disciples, JESUS the
SON of GOD actually
clothed Himself with the
apron of humility and
served the disciples.
The word humility is to
offer oneself as lowly and
submissive; to walk in a
Spirit of lowliness; to
present oneself as lowly;
to act of low degree and
low rank, which is the
opposite of high-minded,
above and better than
others, prideful, arrogant,
superior, haughty, and
self-assertive , the
believer may have a
position, power, wealth,
fame, but he is to carry
himself in a spirit of
lowliness and submission
to ward one and other, he
is to deny himself for the
sake of CHRIST and to
help others
GOD oppose the proud
and give grace to the
humble, grace is favor
and blessing of GOD, the
person who walks humbly
before GOD, recognizing
and acknowledging the
value of others, shall
receive the favor and
blessing of GOD, he shall
be highly favored and
blessed rewarded with
full assurance of being
cared for and looked after
by GOD, that GOD will
walk all things out for his
good while he is on earth
and will be rewarded with
the glorious privilege for
living eternally with
CHRIST
GOD oppose the proud,
the only way to escape
the judgment of GOD’S
hand is to humble
ourselves under His
mighty hand, if we humble
ourselves under His hand
we shall be protected and
lifted up, exalted for ever
and ever
PSALM 138:6
6)Though the LORD be
high, yet hath he respect
unto the lowly; but the
proud he knoweth afar off
THOUGH THE LORD BE
HIGH
PROVERBS 15:33
33)The fear of the LORD
is the instruction of
wisdom; and before honor
humility
The fear of the LORD,
that leads to true spiritual
and gives evangelical
wisdom, it teaches him to
abstain from sin and the
revered for Him and
submission to Him , a
man who fear GOD must
be humble ,is discipline
in and itself , it teaches
people and lead to
spiritual wisdom, and
seek the salvation of his
soul which, teaches him
to abstained from sin, a
man who fears GOD must
be humble ,when people
humble themselves
before the LORD,
changes take place in
their lives, a man who
fears GOD must be
humble, humility leads to
honor and glory, a man
with a lowly opinion of
himself will hearken to
teaching of the wise, and
carefully obey the word
of GOD, and will be
blessed by his ways, he
that humble himself shall
be exalted, such one is
raised to ahigh estate of
grace, and at last to
eternal glory
PROVERBS 16:5
5)Every one that is proud
in heart is an abomination
to the LORD; though
hand join in hand he shall
not unpunished
The LORD detest the
proud and will without
question, punish his
prideful those who rebel
against GOD’S purpose
and insist on following
their own plan though
sinners strengthen
themselves and one
another, they shall not
escape GOD’S judgment
the proud of heart is
abominable to the LORD,
they exalt themselves and
plan above GOD, He hate
their pride and cannot
tolerate them in His
presence they are detest
by the LORD, every
religionist, that trust in
himself that he is
righteous, and despise
the others, that justify
himself before men, is
abomination in the sight
of GOD, they followed the
footstep of their father the
devil, they exalt
themselves above GOD
Although the wicked may
join hands and unite, he
will not prevail and they
will be punished, though
he endeavors with both
hands, will all his might, to
secure himself and
prevent his ruin, he shall
not be able to do it, it will
be of no avail, both he
and they will be destroyed
PROVERBS 16: 18
18)Pride goeth before
destruction, and a
haughty spirit before a fall
Pride is an abomination to
the LORD, it is also the
root of many types of sin,
behaving pridefully
elevates oneself above
others, and even above
GOD himself, it is the
exact opposite of the fear
of the LORD and His two
great commandments, to
love the LORD with all our
heart, soul, mind and
strength and to love other
as ourselves , pride leads
to destruction and
downfall, pride was the
sin of Satan, when he
elevating self above
GOD, self-glorification,
when a man has got to
the height of his riches,
and is swelling with pride
and vanity on account of
it, he is on the face of
ruin, and his fall is
immediate, which was the
case of Nebuchadnezzar,
who while he was
expressing himself in the
arrogance of his Spirit,
being in the height of his
glory, his kingdom depart
from him DANIEL 4:30
PROVERBS 18:12
12)Before destruction the
heart of man is haughty;
and before honor humility
12)Before destruction the
heart of man is haughty;
and before honor humility
their pridefulness cannot
stand against the ragging
storm of life, but people
who humble themselves
lower themselves by
bowing down in
meekness and subjection
to GOD will be honored
and exalted
PROVERBS 29:23
23)A man’s pride shall
bring him low; but honor
shall uphold the humble in
spirit
A MAN’S PRIDE SHALL
BRING HIM LOW
The pride and the self-
recognition, fame and self
-centered, they will
eventually result in
dishonor and humiliation,
GOD’S word declares that
the arrogant will be
humbled through a
painful, disgraceful fall
The lowly in spirit , those
who maintain a humble
spirit will be held in high
esteem, but in this life
and the life to come , they
shall lay hold upon honor,
a man’s pride shall bring
him down, he lost the
image of GOD, GOD
Himself will exalt us
through
BUT HONOR SHALL
UPHOLD THE HUMBLE
But the honor shall
uphold the humble,
whose spirits are humble
and contrite, who are so
the spiritual things, and
are made so by the Spirit
of GOD they are such
who are truly sensible of
their sin, these, as they
are honorable, being
clothed with humility,
which is itself an
ornament of great price
so they are honored with
more grace from the
LORD, shall hold their
honor, shall be honor by
GOD and men, he that is
of a lowly spirit shall
obtain honor, GOD
himself will exalt us
throughout eternity if we
humble bow before Him
and submit to Him, the
great example of this is
the LORD CHRIST, was
meek and lowly in heart,
believers must have the
same mind which in
CHRIST, as believer, we
are to walk humbly on this earth.

FOR THUS SAITH THE
HIGH AND LOFTY
WHOSE NAME IS HOLY
The LORD spoke
forcefully and directly to
the prideful and greedy,
He alone is
the Holy one ,is also the
Merciful one, omnipotent
and supreme Ruler of the
universe that inhabit
eternity , who is from
everlasting to everlasting,
without beginning of days

change of time, who only

Himself and who
constantly inhabit it,
whose name is holy, who
is perfect an essentially
Holy in His nature , his
works, His words and His
ways, not only has a
manifestation of glory on
high, which means that
the LORD, His very
nature, is perfection of
Holiness, is the only living
and true GOD.
But also a manifestation
of grace below, for thus
saith the high and lofty
one, the prideful and
greedy one, that GOD
lives only with those who
humble themselves
before Him, and repent
for having disobeyed His
word ,He does not live
with the prideful those
who exalt themselves
above Him, pride
separate people from
GOD by causing Him to

from them,
He whose name is Holy
one; I dwell on high and

contrite one and him that

hearts of contrite ones
OF A CONTRITE AND
HUMBLE SPIRIT
With Him also that is of a
contrite and humble spirit,
the word contrite means
broken, crushed, beaten,
trodden down and of a
lowly spirit, denote a soul
that is borne down with a
sense of sin and
unworthiness, a heart that
is crushed, with a view of
pardoning grace and
mercy; and such soul are
humble as well as
contrite; have the worst
thoughts of themselves
and the best of others;
they are humble under a
sense of sin and
unworthiness, and submit
to the righteousness of
CHRIST for their
acceptance and
justification before GOD,
and ascribe the whole of
their salvation to his free
grace, it is the mystery of
religion that GOD’S
Holiness places Him at
distance from human
pride and haughtiness
and bring Him near to the
humble in Spirit
