ye shall find rest unto your
souls
30)For my yoke is easy, and
my burden is light

JESUS CHRIST says who are
heavily burdened by religious
rituals that provide no peace,

of GOD, and the Mysteries of
grace, are only to be come
through him; and that he has
all things relating to peace,
comfort, happiness, and
salvation of men in his hand,
he kindly invites and
encourages souls to come
unto him.
That those who come to him
come as sinners, to a full,
suitable, able, and willing

savior; commit their s ouls
upon him, and trust in him
for righteousness, life
and salvation, which they are
encouraged to do, by his
invitation, which shows his
willingness to save and his
readiness to give relief to
distressed minds
LABOR AND ARE HEAVY
LADEN
Those who gran, being
burdened with the guilt of sin
upon their consciences, and
are pressed down with
unsupportable yoke of the
law, and the load of human
traditions, and are laboring
until there are weary, in
other to obtain peace, these
are encourage to come to
him, lay down their burdens
on his feet, lay hold by faith
on his person, blood,
righteousness and sacrifice ;
when true spiritual
consolation , which could
never be attained to by
works
AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST
Spiritual rest here, peace,
ease of mind, tranquility of
soul, through the application
of p ardoning grace, a view of
free justification by
righteousness of JESUS
CHRIST,
JESUS CHRIST gracious
invitation comes to all who
“labor and are heavy laden
with the troubles of life and
the sins of their own human
nature, by coming to JESUS,
becoming his servant and
obeying his commandments,
he will free you from
insurmountable burdens and
spirit will lead you through
life
Jeremiah 6:16
16)Thus saith the LORD,
stand ye in the ways, and
see, and ask for the old
paths, where is the good
way, and walk therein, and
ye shall find rest for your
souls, but they said, we will
not walk therein
GOD’S people have derailed
into wickedness, idolatry,
covetousness and outward
religion, The right part for
living is the old godly way
which is GOD”S through way,
the only way to find peace,
rest and life eternal life is
through JESUS CHRIST
Matthew 10:38-39
38)And he that taketh not
his cross, and followeth after
me, is not worthy of me
39) He that findeth his life
shall lose it; and he that
loseth his life for my sake
shall fine it
AND HE THAT TAKETH NOT
HIS CROSS AND FOLLOWED
AFTER ME:
JESUS GOD should be our
first priority one must be
willing to publicly identify
with him, and loosen our
greedy grasp on earthly
rewards of covetous,
houses, position, leisure ,
popularity, financial security,
rule , regulation , ceremonies
and rituals with out love,
compassion and mercy.
Our focus is life eternal, that
we willingly, cheerfully, and
patiently bear and undergo
those trails , which the LORD
called (Cross) affliction as we
are here on transit in this
world, which is adulterous
and sinful dominated by
Satan and his host
FOLLOW AFTER ME: Led on
by his example, to preach
the Gospel, submit to the
ordinances of it, and cheerly
suffer for it, when called to it
if a man will be the disciples
of GOD
If a man, who would be the
disciple of CHRIST, is not
willing to do all this, but, in
order to avoid it, conforms to
the world, and turns his back
on JESUS CHRIST; is not
worthy of me, he is not right
to stand among his disciples
and followers
HE THAT FINDETH HIS LIFE
SHALL LOSE IT
He that save his life by
denying me shall lose it - -
That man that seek to
preserve his life, and the
temporal enjoyments of it, by
a sinful compliance with
friends and the world and by
denying JESUS CHRIST he will
lose his life eternally.
He that loses his life, that
man is willing to forego the
present advantages of life, to
suffer reproach and
persecution, and l ay down
his life cheerfully for the seek
of JESUS CHRIST and his
Gospel by confessing me
shall save it eternally
Matthew 16:24
24)Then said JESUS unto his
disciples, if any man will
come after me, let him deny
himself, and take up his
cross, and follow me
THE DOCTRINE OF CROSS
IF ANY MAN WILL COME
AFTER ME LET HIM DENY
HIMSELF:
Let him deny sinful self,
ungodliness, and worldly lost
and his former sinful
companions, let him drop
and banish all his notions and
expectation of and earthly
kingdom and worldly lust
TAKE UP HIS CROSS
Cheerfully receive, and
patiently bear, every,
affliction and evil, however
shameful and painful it may
be, to which he should
quietly submit, with zeal,
patience, and self-denial
Mark 10:21
21)then JESUS beholding h im
loved him, and said unto him,
one thing thou lackest: go thy
way, sell whatsoever thou
hast and give to the poor,
and thou shalt have treasure
in heaven and come take up
they cross, and follow me
SIX FOLD COMMANDMENT
Go your way
Sell all you have
Give to the poor
Come to me
Take up the cross
Follow me
Believers must not love
riches more t han GOD, they
must wholeheartedly give
allegiance to GOD and should
not make idol of wealth
The stumbling- block of the
rich ruler is his wealth,
covetousness, he love riches
more than he loves GOD,
which breaks the first and
most important
commandments EXODUS
20:3
He could not follow CHRIST
without parting with this sin
of bondage of
riches/covetousness, they
are his idol on which his
heart was set, and in which
he trusted, he kept all other
commandment and cannot
keep the most important”
thou shalt have no other
gods before me”
He must deny himself by
removing that which will
take the place of GOD,
entering the kingdom of GOD
requires repentance , and
self-denial with our whole
heart to enter the kingdom
Luke 12:8
8) Also I say unto you,
whosoever shall confess me
before men, him shall the
son of man also confess
before the angels of GOD
9)But he that denieth before
the angels GOD
WHOSOEVER SHALL
CONFESS ME BEFORE MEN:
Shall freely and openly
acknowledge himself to be
my disciple, and conduct
himself as such, to whatever
dangers and persecutions he
may expose himself to; him
shall the son of man also
confess- Shall declare to
belong to him
Live moral upright
CHRIST honored life
Look for opportunity
to share the faith with
others
Help others in need
Take stand for justice
Love others  Acknowledge our loyalty to
JESUS CHRIST
Use our lives and
resources to carry out
his desire rather than
ours
But we deny JESUS when we
(1)hope no one will find out
we are believers
(2) Decide not to speak up for
what is right
3) are silent about our
relationship with GOD(
4)Blend with the society
But he that-avoid reproach
and suffering; deny me
before men- ashamed or
afraid of maintaining so good
a cause, shall be denied and
disowned by me before the
angels of GOD
