I WILL NOT REPROVE THEE
FOR THY SACRIFICE OR
BURNT OFFERING
That they were continually
offering up before the LORD
even multitudes of them,
though to no purpose, as
they are offered up without
faith and in hypocrisy: and
could not take away sin and
make atonement for it,
besides ought now to have
ceased to be offered,
CHRIST the great sacrifice
being now offered up
I WILL TAKE NO BULLOCK
OF THY HOUSE
That he will not accept of
none such sacrifice being
not agreeable to the will of
GOD, the people had
difficulty in keeping a godly
perspective of the nature of
sacrifice, GOD did not need
their offering, he is already
the owner of all the earth
and every beast and fowl,
the sacrifice were for the
sakes, so that they would
understand that sin equals
death and atonement come
by the blood
IF I WERE HUNGRY, I
WOULD NOT TELL THEE
GOD is totally self
sufficient, he can take care
of himself without the help
of any one else’s, he is
already the owner of the
earth and every thing in it,
why should he take their
bull and goats when he
owns the cattle’s on a
thousand hill?, he is the
creator and sustainer of the
whole world, GOD doesn’t
hungry of food but hunger
for the people
righteousness
Worship is not giving GOD
some thing he needs, not
about fulfilling rituals,
regulation ceremonies, GOD
created us for a relationship
with him,, he showed his
love and grace on us,
redeeming us from our sin,
GOD wants us to worship
him from thankful hearts
that overflow with gratitude
for all he has done for us.
ISAIAH 1:11
11)To what purpose is the
multitude of your sacrifice
unto me? Saith the LORD: I
am full of the burnt
offerings or rams; and the
fat of fed beast; and I
delight not in the blood of
bullocks or of lams or of
goat
TO WHAT PURPOSE IS THE
MULTITUDE OF YOUR
SACRIFICE ON TO ME
What are your multiplied
sacrifices to Me without
your repentance say the
LORD, I have had enough of
your burnt offering of rams,
and the fat of well-fed
cattle’s without your
obedience, and I take no
pleasure in the blood of
bulls or lambs or goats
offered without repentance
GOD charge his people with
deceptive, empty, ritualistic
worship, they refuse to
obey his word and were
living sinful lives, to bring
sacrifice to bribe GOD to the
remove the punishment ,
and give them life to go on
in their sin,the people
coming before him to
worship are hypocrites ,
people who profess to know
GOD but whose hearts were
far away from him, their
worship is but outward
show, their sacrifice had
become nothing more than
ritual, formal and insincere
ceremonies that GOD hates.
JEREMIAH 6:20
20)To what purpose
cometh there to me incense
from Sheba, and the sweet
cane from a far country?
Your burnt offerings are not
acceptable nor your
sacrifices, sweet unto me
TO WHAT PURPOSE
COMETH THERE TO ME
INCENSE FROM SHEBA
The people’s worship was
unacceptable due to their
hypocrisy, though they were
giving costly offerings and
bringing expensive incense
from Sheba and sugar cane
from a distant land, they are
still living wicked,
hypocritical lives
Things GOD reject:
v Incense from Sheba in
south Arabia
v Sweet cane from far
country
v Burnt offering of all
kinds
v Sacrifice sweet savor
offerings
The reason GOD rejected
rituals, Sabbaths, new
moon , and other forms of
outward worship as stated 
in ISAIAH 1:13-14, was that
these were substituted for
personal holiness and
morality, there is this
misconception, that was
primarily interested in
outward and formal
religious rites, ceremonies,
such as circumcision,,
Sabbath day observance ,
and animal sacrifice, GOD is
basically concerned with the
attitude of our heart
HOSEA 6:6
6)For I desired mercy, and
not sacrifice: and the
knowledge of GOD more
than burnt offerings
FOR I DESIRED MERCY
What GOD clearly wants
from his people was mercy,
that is steadfast and loyal
love that response to the
Love and faithfulness of
GOD and those who will
acknowledge him in their
lives
I desire mercy: compassion
and charity towards men, a
godly humanity, in this I
delight, GOD desire for
people not to be
hypocritical in their worship
and service, but rather, to
be merciful and truly know
him, religious ritual is not
accepted it is not carried
out with an attitude of love
for the obedience of GOD, if
ones heart is far away from
GOD, ritual is empty and a
mockery, why do you
worship, what is the motive
of your offerings and
sacrifice
MICHA 6:6-8
6)Wherewith shall I come
before the LORD, and bow
myself before the high GO?
Shall I come before him with
burnt offerings with calves
of a year old?
7)Will the LORD be pleased
with thousands of rams, or
with ten thousand of rivers
of oil? Shall I give my first
born for my transgression,
the fruit of my body for the
sin of my soul
8)He hath showed thee, O
man, what is good: and
what doth the LORD require
of thee, but to do justly, and
to love mercy, and to walk
humbly with thy GOD
WHEREWITH SHALL I COME
BEFORE THE LORD:
It is not religion or rituals
that makes a person
acceptable to GOD, people
sought to approach and
become acceptable to GOD
through ritual and
sacrifice:
v By offering up animal
sacrifice and make up
them acceptable to
GOD
v
By giving large offerings
to please GOD
v
By offering human
sacrifice the first-born
child to entice GOD to
forgive their sins and
make them acceptable
to him
People practiced the ritual
of their religion, they went
through religious activities,
but their heart were very,
very far from GOD, as they
believe they could live as
they want, by stealing,
laying, covetousness,
deceiving, cheating and the
craving for sinful pleasure of
the world, and believe they
could appease GOD with
their offering and sacrifices,
they reject what was good
the teaching of GOD Holy
word.
WHAT IS GOOD AND WHAT
THE LORD REQUIRES
TO DO JUSTLY:
To render to all their dues,
to, superiors, oppress none,
their person properties, to
be true and just to all,
people should treat one
another fairly, honestly,
restriction against cheating,
stealing dishonesty, bribery,
extortion,
GODS way of justice is to
seek to-do good to one
another to help each other
at the time of need, and the
provision of welfare to the
widows, fatherless ,
stranger and the poor
TO LOVE MERCY
To be kind, merciful, and
compassionate towards all
that need your kindness,
the love that seeks to do
good to others , to persons
in distress , To relief the
poor, to clothe the naked,
and feed the hungry and be
concerned in such exercise
TO WALK HUMBLY WITH
THY GOD
To walk with humility, and
to keep the heart sincerely
humble toward GOD, think
highly of him, his words,
commandment and laws
they were to be free from
arrogance, pride, self-
centeredness, egotism, they
are to trust GOD and
acknowledge him as the
source of their live as they
walk throughout life day
after day, to always seek his
mercy and forgiveness
AMOS 5:21-22
21) I hate, I despise your
feast days, and I will not
smell in your solemn
assemblies
22)Though ye offer me
burnt offerings and your
meat offerings, I will not
accept them; neither will I
regard the peace offerings
of your fat beasts.
I HATE I DESPITE YOUR
FEAST DAY:
Impure and unholy they
are, whatever they seem to
be, and therefore the LORD
hated your ritualist worship,
they openly professed that
they believe in the LORD,
and wanted to offer up
praise and thanksgiving to
him, but their worship is
false, it was charade,
mockery, of true religion, it
is hypocritical, even though
they gave generous offering
and made many sacrifice in
the name of the LORD, they
leave their hearts with sins: 
which GOD would never
accept
MATTHEW 9:13
13)But go ye and learn
what that meaneth, I will
have mercy, and not
sacrifice, for I am not come
to call the righteous, but
sinners to repentance
GO YE AND LEARN WHAT
THAT MEANS
The religionist are
generation that laid religion
upon rituals, sacrifice and
traditions, they justify
themselves and thought
they needed no repentance
JESUS said I want to show
mercy and not offer
sacrifice:
JESUS was warning the
religionist and those who
think they are more
accepted to GOD than
others, that he came to be
where the spiritually sick
are, he had come to earth
for the same purpose that a
physician enter a home: to
help the sick, and he came
to have mercy and not to
lead people to make
sacrifice, what he wants is
not sacrifice, but the lives of
those who needs his mercy
Sacrifices offered in
religious worship are not
what he came for, he came
to show and bestow mercy
upon sinners, any person
who knows that he is a
sinner and desire GOD’S
mercy, GOD call is for mercy
and not sacrifice, GOD
wants the persons life, he
want to cleanse the
person’s life to make him
acceptable for heaven and
to GOD
MATTHEW 12:7
7) this meaneth, I will, have
mercy, and not sacrifice, ye
would not have But if ye
had known
what condemned the
guiltles
Go and learn what the
scripture means: the
religionist do not
understand “what this
means” they did not know
the true meaning of GOD’S
heart and word, they did no
have merciful heart: they
are compassionate and
understanding of human
needs, .
GOD desire mercy and
compassion for those in
distress, and not animal
sacrifice, for did not come
to call to repentance the
self-righteous, who see no
need to change, but sinners
those who recognize their
sins and actively seek
forgiveness
That GOD prefers mercy
before sacrifice, GOD is
more interested in a
person’s loyal love than the
observance of external
rituals, you will not have
condemned the innocent

a more excellent ministry,

BUT NOW HATH HE
OBTAINED A MORE
EXCELLENT MINISTRY:
CHRIST has a Ministry, the
service of a higher order,is
the minister , he has
obtained this ministry of his
FATHER, he was called from
eternity, excellent one than
that of the Aaronic
priesthood, on the account
both of his ministry and
covenant, who offered
according to the law, as
much as the new covenant
is more important than the
old,
The new covenant is
founded on a better
promise, better than the old
because of the better
promises, the old covenant
was not full and complete, it
indeed no far enough to
meet the needs the
weakness is here
discovered:
The old covenant could
reveal sin but not remove it,
and being defective it could
not save nor justify guilty
sinners
v It failed to meet the
deepest needs of sinful
man, sin had made it
ineffective
v The real cause of the
covenant’s weakness
was man’s sinfulness:
therefore, GOD finds
faults with them
The new covenant
eliminates the weakness of
the old/first covenant, if the
first covenant had been
faultless, there would have
been no need for a new
covenant, man failed to
keep the old law/covenant
because the law was not
able to infuse the power to
keep the commandment
GOD had to introduce the
new covenant or else man
would be lost eternally,
which he said” I will make a
new covenant, this is the
glorious Gospel, the
wonderful news, which is
differs entirely from the old
covenant
The new covenant is an
inward power, a spiritual
power within the inner man,
which gives man,
v The power of a new
mind and heart
v The new covenant
through its Mediator,
the LORD JESUS , renews
a man mind and heart
Which is in reference to the
new birth, when a person
approach GOD through the
new covenant that is the
LORD JESUS CHRIST and
accept the terms of the new
covenant( belief) GOD
renews the person mind
and put his laws into the
persons mind and GOD
renews the person’s heart
and writes his laws upon his
hearts.
A new heart and mind
means that he will be
accepted by GOD and given
eternal life, he will be
delivers from sin,
corruption, and death of
this world and from the
guilt, judgment,
condemnation, of GOD in
the next world.
The new covenant frees the
heart and stirs assurance
and confidence in the mind
of the true believer and
gives him absolute security
A new mind and heart
means that we have the
desire and power to follow
and obey GOD and keep his
laws, as the new heart stirs
us to love GOD because he
renew us, and our love stirs
us to seek his face
continually,
CHRIST within us, does
have the power to forgive
and stirs us to arise and
follow GOD anew and
afresh
, by which sacrifice he merit
the Holy spirit, to enable
man to perform the
conditions which GOD
requires from him, to
repent, and believe, and
obey the Redeemer, and
wholly to rely upon his
sacrifice for GOD’S favor, as
by his intercession he
secures to them all the
blessing of GOD for time
and eternity
.I WILL BE THEIR GOD AND
THEY WILL BE MY PEOPLE
This means that we are
accepted by GOD, which
means that we can
commune and fellowship
with GOD, we can pray and
share with GOD, we can call
upon GOD when we need
mercy and grace to help in
the time of our needs, we
can have care, provision and
protection, that we can
have delivering power over
temptation and trails

human priest or Mediators,

Mediator the LORD JESUS
CHRIST, this now means
that the privilege to know
GOD is now open to all
races and nations of people,
the new convent is
universal: they will all know
me, 
From the least of them to
the greatest, the rich and
poor, black and white, red
and yellow, leader and
follower, believer and
unbeliever, religious and
non-religious, male and
female, slave and free, child
and adult, all can now know
GOD, there is no longer any
priest among men that will
stand between GOD and
Man ,there is only JESUS
CHRIST, the Mediator of the
new covenant and a better
covenant, when a person
comes to GOD through
CHRIST, he is accepted by
GOD and given the glorious
privileges of knowing GOD
face to face
HEBREWS 8:12
12)For I will be merciful to
their unrighteousness, and
their sins and their iniquities
will I remember no more
FOR I WILL BE MERCIFUL TO
THEIR RIGHTEOUSNESS
AND THEIR SINS AND
INIQUITY
The power of forgiveness of
sin, is based upon the
mercy of GOD, forgiving of
sin means that GOD
remembers our sins no
more ,he removes them
from his mind, we are not
forgiven because of works
or the law, GOD does not
accept us and forgive our
sins, because we do the
best and try to be good, he
forgive us because JESUS
CHRIST died for our sins,
because he has already paid
the penalty for our sins and
we ask GOD to forgives us
through the sacrifice of
JESUS CHRIST and when we
ask for forgiveness GOD
forgives us, his mind and
memory never ever think of 
them again, they never
come back to his memory or
seep back into his thought,
all throughs the sacrifice of
the LORD JESUS CHRIST

first old, now that which
decayeth and waxwth old is
ready to vanish away
The new covenant makes
the first covenant old, GOD
has given a new covenant:
therefore, this means that
the first covenant is old:
that is, it is obsolete and no
longer of use, out of use,
annulled because it is ripe
for disappearance and to
be dispense with, the old
covenant has been set
aside, now we are to follow
after the new covenant that
is bound up in JESUS
CHRIST, which never
destroy the law but fulfilled
the law.
JESUS expresses the Law,,
he symbolizes the love and
grace of GOD and the law of
GOD as well, we no longer
look to the law nor follow
the law, we look to JESUS
CHRIST and follow him, but
in following him, we follows
the righteousness and
holiness of GOD as well as
the love and grace of GOD .

3)But in those sacrifice
there is a remembrance
again made of sins every
year
4)For it is not possible that
the blood of bulls and goats
should take away sins
BUT IN THOSE SACRIFICE,
THERE IS REMEMBRANCE
GOD established the old
covenant, under the first
covenant, the blood of
animals were sacrificed for
man’s sins, the animal had
to be pure and flawless,
having no flaws or impurity
when it was sacrificed it
symbolized, that sinless life
was bearing the sin of men,
that man’s sin were being
laid upon a sinless life who
was bearing the guilt and
condemnation of sin for the
man’s life, but only a
temporary provision or
Atonement for sins of the
people:
Ultimately, a human was
needed to serve as a
substitute for humanity,
thus CHRIST came to the
earth and was born as a
human so that he might
offer himself in placed it is
only human who is free
from sin could take our
punishment for sin and
perfectly satisfy the demand
of GOD holiness and justice
Animal sacrifice could not
take away sin; they provide
only a temporary way to
deal with sin, it was not
possible that the law could
take away sin, make perfect,
or purify the heart, it could
not eradicate sin in a way
that would offer permanent
cleansing and peace with
GOD ,the practice look
forward until JESUS came
to deal with it permanently,
The offering of animal
sacrifice were actually, a
remembered of sin, not
removal of sin, every time
an offering is was made the
person was reminded of his
sins remined that his sins
stood between him and
GOD, that they had to be
atoned for time after time
for ever if it was ever to be
accepted by GOD
The offering of animal’
sacrifice was powerless to
take away sin, powerless to
make a person acceptable
to GOD, powerless to give
man fellowship and
communion with GOD
because:
Animals have different
natures than men, animal
life cannot stand and
represent the life of men,
animal cannot live the life of
men, here is no way
possible for the sacrifice of
an animal’s life to equal the
sacrifice of a man, they are
of different nature than
men, Animals were not the
ones who willingly choose
to sin and neglect, ignore,
rebel, reject, and abuse
GOD, therefore, they cannot
possibly pay for the penalty
and the judgment of men’s
sin
HEBREWS 10:5-6
5)Wherefore when he
cometh into the world, he
saith, Sacrifice and offering
thou wouldest not, but a
body hast thou prepared
me
6)In burnt offering and
sacrifice for sin thou hast
had no pleasure
WHEREFORE WHEN HE

The perfect and eternal
person was prepared by
GOD himself, to willingly
sacrifice himself for the sin
of man, he had to be perfect
so that he could be the ideal
person, the ideal person is
the only Person who could
stand for and cover all
other men, he sacrificed
himself died for the sin of
men, his death covered the
sin of men and accepted as
the perfect sacrifice for
man’s sins
He also had to be eternal in
order to cover sins
eternally, being eternal,
presupposes, that he covers
everyone eternally.
It is the reason GOD himself
in the person of his SON our
LORD JESUS CHRIST had to
be the sacrifice for our sins,
only GOD is perfect and
eternal: therefore, only
GOD could be the perfect
and Eternal sacrifice for our
sins, that is the reason GOD
prepared a body and sent
JESUS CHRIST into the
world, this is the reason for
the great incarnation of the
LORD JESUS CHRIST that he
actually prepared a body
and sent his own dear son,
who has the full and perfect
nature of GOD the FATHER
in to this sinful world:
Come to take our sins and
their guilt and
condemnation upon himself
v Came to offer himself as
perfect sacrifice for our
sins
v Came to take our sins
offer us so that we could
be counted perfect and
made acceptable to
GOD
v Came to show us the
mercy and the love of
GOD
v Came to give us eternal
life, a life that could
fellowship and
commune with GOD

The perfect sacrifice was
JESUS CHRIST doing the will

and covers man , therefore
JESUS CHRIST makes the
perfect sacrifice for man the
sacrifice that will be
acceptable to God forever
and ever
This is the reason that
man’s only acceptance
before GOD is JESUS
CHRIST, GOD accept no
person unless he comes to
him in the perfection of the
ideal righteousness and
sacrifice for sin, the only
ideal righteousness and
sacrifice for sin is the SON of
GOD himself, even the LORD
JESUS CHRIST
SACRIFICE AND OFFERING
AND BURNT OFFERING AND
OFFERING FOR SIN
Sacrifice and offering, and
burnt offerings thou would
have no pleasure therein
All kind all the sacrifice,
which could be offered by
man, In the old covenant
could not purge away sins
so they are imperfect and
insufficient, and are
abolished, and the
abrogation of them is
expressed in strong terms as
that GOD would not have
them, and that he took no
pleasure in them, which are
offered by the law
HEBREWS 10:9-10
9) Then said he I come to
do thy will, O GOD, he
taketh away the first, that
he may establish the second
10)By the which will we are
sanctified through the
offering of the body of
JESUS CHRIST once for all
THEN SAID I
The perfect sacrifice made
it necessary for GOD to take
away the old sacrifice
system abolish the
ceremonial law and change
and abrogated the
priesthood of Aaron take
away that which was first
namely sacrifice, offering,
burnt offerings and sin
offerings, these he has
removed and rejected as
insignificant and useless
that he might confirm and
establish the new
covenant the unchangeable
priesthood of JESUS CHRIST.
According to the will of GOD
The old sacrifice for sin
were inadequate and
powerless to take away sins,
if sin is to be removed,
there had to be a perfect
sacrifice
THROUGH THE OFFERING
OF THE BODY OF JESUS
CHRIST ONCE AND FOR ALL
The perfect sacrifice sets us
apart through the offering
of the body of JESUS CHRIST
once and for all, he is the
perfect ideal man, he
offered his body as sacrifice
for sin, and that for this
reason the people of GOD
are sanctified, their sins: are
perfectly expiated, the full
pardon of them is procured,
their person is completely
justified from sin; and their
conscience purge from it.
It was a perfect sacrifice,
being perfect, it was
completed, fulfilled, and
finished, it is perfectly
satisfied the holiness,
righteousness, and justice of
GOD one and for all
That is when any person
come to GOD by JESUS
CHRIST, the sacrifice of
JESUS CHRIST is applied to
the person, the perfect
sacrifice of JESUS CHRIST
covers the person’s sins and
he is counted sinless by
GOD, which allows the
person full fellowship and
commune with GOD live in
the presence of GOD now
and live with GOD for ever
life eternity
HEBREWS 10:18
18)Now where remission of
these is, there is no more
offering for sin
Now where there is
absolute forgiveness and
complete cancellation of the
penalty of sin, there is no
longer any offering to be
made to atone sin
There is no more offering
for sin, if those sins are
wholly blotted out, there is
no more need of sacrifice to
atone for them, any more,
there is no need pay a debt
again, there is no needs of
repetition of CHRIST
sacrifice, nor will he be
offered up any more, nor of
repetition of legal service,
ought they to continue any
longer, CHRIST sacrifice
superior sacrifice, has made
it the entire sacrificial
system of the old covenant
obsolete
Where sin is remitted,
there is no need of any
offering for sin any longer 
CHRIST’S offering is
effective for all past,
present and future sins, but
on condition on proper

ROMANS 12:1
1)I beseech you therefore,
brethren, by the mercies of
GOD, that ye present your
bodies a living sacrifice,
holy, acceptable unto GOD,
which is your reasonable
service
BODIES A LIVING
SACRIFICE
The body is to be offered to
GOD, the believer is to
present his body as a living
sacrifice, which is offering of
his body is to be living
sacrifice, which is the
picture of the old
testaments believers taking
animals and offering them
to GOD, the believer is to
make the same kind of
sacrifice offering to GOD,
the believer offering is his
body, he is to offer his body
as a living sacrifice as:
v A continuous, constant
living for GOD
v
A continue living right
righteous, holy pure,
clean and morally for
GOD, the body does not
pollute, corrupt,
contaminate itself wit
the worldly lust, not
craving of sinful nature,
pride,, the lust of flesh,
the believer is to
dedicate his body to live
for GOD
v We are to offer our
bodies as dead to sin
and pursing GOD in holy
passion and focus
v To live a holy live
worship and devotion to
GOD, which requires
separating our self from
the pattern of the world
The believer is to give up
selfish ambition and desires,
proclaiming the Love of
GOD and help the ravaging
poor and needy in our
society and to serve GOD
and him alone
The believer is to dedicate
his body to GOD as a living
sacrifice in everywhere, in
the home, field, workplace, i
, restaurant , church, plant ,
his body is to be a living
sacrifice to GOD, sacrificing
to GOD in every act of
human body, we must be
quickened and alive to GOD,
and not dead in sins and
trespasses the world, the
believers body is the temple
of GOD, therefore every act
of the believer’s body is to
be act of service to GOD,
which is pleasing to GOD
Our sacrifice is reasonable
in light of all GOD’S mercies
our service is Spiritual, not
offering of animals but
ourselves in spiritual service
, which is pleasing to GOD
