and saw a great multitude,
and was moved with
compassion to wards them,
and he healed their sick

evening, his disciples came to
him, saying, this is a desert
place, and the time is now
past; send the multitude
away, that they may go into
the villages, and buy
themselves victuals.
16) But JESUS said unto
them, they need not depart;
give ye them to eat
17) And they say unto him,
we have here but five loaves,
and two fishes
18) He said, bring them
hither to me
19) And he commanded the
multitude to sit down on the
grass, and took the five
loaves, and the two fishes,
and looking up to heaven, he
blessed, and brake, and gave
the loaves to his disciples,
and the disciple to the
multitude
20) And they did eat, and
were filled; and they took up
of the fragments that
remained twelve baskets full.
JESUS MOVED WITH
COMPASSION TO HEAL AND
FEED RAVAGING SOULS
And JESUS saw a great
multitude, with bodily
illnesses, which was very
great and many and he
healed of their sickness
*JESUS felt compassion, the
helplessness of the people
penetrate his heart, as he
saw precious human soul
being pressed under the
weight of human problems
and was move to help them
THEY HAVE NO NEED TO GO
FIND THEM SOMETHING TO
EAT
Give what resources you
have- it is your duty to give
and meet the desperate need
of the multitude
We all have the duty and
responsibility to give
whatever we have, no matter
how little or how small to
meet the physical need of
the ravaging world
JESUS COMPASSION FOR
THE NEEDY
It teaches that the little we
have can be made into much
if put it in the hand of JESUS.
MATTHEW 15:32
32) then JESUS called his
disciples unto him and said, I
have compassion on the
multitude, because they
continue with me now three
days and have nothing to eat;
and I will not send them
away fasting, lest they faint
in the way.
JESUS HAVE COMPASSION
ON THE SICK AND NEEDY
JESUS said, I have
compassion for these
people, they have already
been with me three days and
have nothing to eat. I do not
want to send them away
hungry, or they may collapse
on the way
*JESUS met the needs of the
people who are most needful
and neglected by men every
where.
*JESUS CHRIST had to teach
his disciples compassion and
try to stir compassion for the
lost and out cast by trying to
to be griped with a
determination to help
*JESUS said I will not send
them fasting; not because
the multitude ask any food of
him; but he could not bear
the thoughts of dismissing
them in such a condition;
lest they faint by the way; to
their own houses, not having
strength and spirit enough to
travel, and get back home as
they come from far
*These people were so
hungry for GOD’S word that
they spent three days with
CHRIST hungered for GOD;S
word without food just to be
with him.
MATHEW 18:24-
24) And when he had begun
to reckon, one was brought
unto him, which owed him
thousand talents
25) But forasmuch as he had
not to pay, his LORD
commanded him to be sold,
and his wife, and children,
and all that he had, and
payment to be made
26) The servant therefore
fell down, and worshiped
him, saying LORD, have
patience with me, and I will
pay thee all
27)Then the LORD of that
servant was moved with
compassion, and loosed him,
and forgave him the debt
28) But the same servant
went out, and found one of
his fellow servants, which
owed him a hundred pence;
and he laid hands on him,
and took him by the throat
saying, pay me that thou
owest
29)And his fellow servant fell
down at his feet, and
besought him, saying, have
patience with me, and I will
pay thee all
30)And he would not; but
went and cast him into
prison, till he should pay the
debt
31)So when his servants saw
what was done, they were
very sorry, and came and told
unto their LORD all that was
done
32)Then his LORD, after that
he had called him, said unto
him, O thou wicked servant, I
forgave thee all that debt,
because thou desiredst me
33) Shouldest not thou also
have had compassion on thy
fellow servant, even as I had
pity on thee?
34)And his LORD was wroth,
and delivered him to the
tormentors, till he should pay
all that was due unto him
35)So likewise shall my
heavenly FATHER do also
unto you, if ye from your
hearts forgive not every one
his brother their trespasses.

MATTHEW 20: 30-34
30) And behold two blind
men sitting by the way side,
when they heard that JESUS
passed by cried out, saying,
have mercy on us, O LORD,
thou son of David
31) And the multitude
rebuked them, because they
should hold their peace; but
they cried the more, saying,
have mercy
32) And JESUS stood still,
and called them, and said,
what will I ye that I shall do
unto you?
33) They said unto him,
LORD, that our eyes may be
opened
34) So JESUS had
compassion on them, and
touched their eyes; and
immediately their eyes
received sight, and they
followed him.
JESUS HAD COMPASSION ON
THEM
So JESUS had compassion
on them his bowels moved
towards them as a man, he
pitied their miserable and
distressed condition, and
discover the tenderness of
his heart towards them and
touch their eyes and
immediately their eyes
received sight and they
follow him.
LUKE 3:11
11) he answereth and saith
unto them, he that hath two
coats, let him impact to him
that hath none; and he that
hath meat let him do likewise
THE ACT OF COMPASSION
BY BELIEVER
*Help the poor according to
your ability, be benevolent,
and you will
*The average citizen was to
love and care enough to
share his material goods with
those who were in need.
*The giving must be
sacrificial, the giver was to
love and care so much that
he will give with mercy and
compassion by giving what
he had to affect the
devastating world of poverty
The nature of religion is to do
good, this requires self-denial
and none will deny
themselves who are not
attached to GOD
*He answered and told them
what to do, which is not
about ceremonial observance
nor rituals but upon act of
compassion and kindness to
the poor , which is core of
the religion love thy neighbor
as thy self, which involves
love of GOD, and also the
whole law.
LUKE 6:35
35 But love ye your enemies,
and do good, and lend
hoping for nothing again; and
your reward shall be great,
and ye shall be the children
of the highest; for he is kind
unto the unthankful and the
evil
36) Be ye therefore merciful,
as your FATHER also is
merciful.
THE BELIEVER BEHAVIOR
The believer behavior
must surpass a sinner
behavior:
But loving, doing good, and
lending; not to your friends
only, but to your enemies
Hoping for nothing again
lend without interest
*Be ye therefore merciful:
tenderhearted, kind
compassionate, which is the
divine attribute.
ROMANS 12:10
10) Be kindly affection one
to another with brotherly
love; in honor preferring one
another
BELIEVERS DAILY BEHAVIOR
The believer must love
others with pure and sincere
without hypocrisy, honest
and truthful love, not selfish
motive
The believer is to love by
clinching to that which is
good, doing good and rich in
good works, so as to affect
the ravaging world
ROMANS 12:20
20) therefore if thine enemy
hunger, feed him; if he
thirsty, give him drink; for in
so doing thou shalt heap
coals of fir on his head
IF YOUR ENEMY HUNGER
FEED HIM; IF HE THIRSTY
GIVE HIM DRINK; Don’t
render evil for evil, do him
good for evil
THOU SHALT HEAP COAL OF
FIRE ON HIS HEAD will bring
down greater vengeance
from God upon him
PROVERBS: 25:21
If your enemy be hungry,
give him bread to eat. And if
he be thirsty, give him to
drink.
JAMES 2:15-16
15) if a brother or sister be
naked, and destitute of daily
food
16) And one of you say unto
them, depart in peace, be ye
warmed and filled;
notwithstanding ye give
them not those things which
are needful to the body what
doth it profit
IF A BROTHER OR SISTER BE
NAKED AND DESTITUTE OF
DAILY FOOD
If a person is badly clothed
rags, or naked
or needy of daily food, that is
necessary to sustain life
under this two nakedness
and hunger
DEPRIVED OF DAILY FOOD
And destitute of daily food;
have not food sufficient
under nakedness and hunger,
he comprehends all the
human calamities, which may
be relief by the help of
others; as food and clothes
contained ordinary support
of life
A believers is to support
the weak and venerable in
society by providing to the
needy.
