THE WORLDLY
MATERIALISM
Do not be much concern in
seeking food, drink, clothing
and doubting GOD;S care is
not a challenge but a
command ”SEEK NOT” .
*The believer is to center his
mind and life upon GOD and
the word of GOD given to
him to do, not about making
a living and eating and
drinking
*Seeking after food, drink
and clothing is what the
nation of the world seek, the
gentile, heathen , the lost
seek, they center their life
around getting more and
more of the things of this
world, they talk, thing and
think about food, drink and
clothing
*The believer is not to be
seeking after these things, he
is different, he is to be
seeking the Kingdom of GOD
and his provision and care
TRUE WEALTH
Seeking the kingdom of GOD,
the believer is not to seek
after the things of the world,
*He is to focus his life upon
the kingdom of GOD and the
work GOD assigned to him to
do, he is to leave his welfare
in the hands of GOD
GOD will provide the
necessities of life for the
person who seek GOD first.
GOD give treasure that do
not age, fail, nor corrupt
neither can they be stolen.
TRUE WEALTH- what JESUS
said is revolutionary- Sell
your possession, and give to
the poor, we live in a world
so full of needs, a world lost.
The believer is to fill his
bag(pocket, bank account
with the gift or giving of
money and deed of help, the
believer is to secure the
treasure of GOD’S approval
and souls won in heaven,
these treasures will never fail
nor corrupt nor stolen.

on me, and send Lazarus,
that he may dip the tip of his
finger in water, and cool my

THOU IN THY LIFETIME
RECEIVE THY GOOD THINGS
Eternal life
Death snatched the rich
man from his comfort and
pleasure and for his material
good and wealth of his life,
and he was immediately in
hell the place of torment .
*The rich man was not fit for
paradise, because he lived a
worldly live, while others
were hungry and starving,
diseased, helpless,
unclothed, unsaved and
dying, he possess good things
of life, while other had
nothing.
The rich man was
tormented: Lazarus was
comforted
*The rich man had what he
chose to have when on earth,
he had received his good
things, which is considered
good and saw that Lazarus
had bad things
The rich man was fixed in hell
and Lazarus fixed in paradise.

THE GREAT WARNING OF
JESUS- Noah- Lot
The affairs of men will
always occupied with wordly
affairs of eating, drinking,
marrying , buying selling
planting and building
Man will be going about their
daily without giving attention
to GOD”s work
*The people of Noah’s and
Lot’s days did not believe and
prepared, they are more
concerned with their daily
wordly activities,living and
focusing their minds upon
The world and its things and
the flesh and its pleasures
They were caught unaware ,
unexpectedly and suddenly:
o Then the food came
and destroyed them
all
o Fire and sulfur rained
down from heaven
and destroyed them
all
GOD took care of Noah’s and
LOT, the two believed are
saved from the coming
judgment.

False Teachers thinks religion

who look on his teaching and
preaching as a career and in
business to advance himself
Their major reason to enter
the ministry, to live a good
and commendable profession
and provide good livelihood
for them and their furfure
family
*All whose religion is gain of
riches or reputation
*WITHDRAW THY SELF
FROM THEM- with such men
have nothing to do, avoid
them .
GODLINESS WITH
CONTENTMENT IS GREAT
GAIN
The secret of contentment is
GODLINESS- that is
completely sufficient, which
means to be fulfilled,
satisfied and complete.
A man possessed of true
godliness is a gaining, thriving
man: such as godly, or truly
gracious, they are possessor
of the true, solid, satisfying
durable, and unsearchable
riches of grace; by grace of
the spirit of GOD as faith,
hope, love, kindness to whole
internal religion.

MONEY- IS GOOD AND
BAD
Money in itself is neither
good nor bad; it is simply
dangerous in that the love of
money may become bad,
with money a Man can do
much good: and with money
a man can do much evil.
*With money a man can
selfishly serve his own
desires; and with money he
can be generously answer to
the cry of his neighbor’s need
and he can make it for
someone to to live for GOD.

WEALTH RICHES AND LOVE
FOR MONEY
THEY THAT WILL BE RICH:
they who of a covetous and
greedy desire of being rich in
this world’s goods, will use
any arts, and do any unlawful
things, without any just
regard to the law of GOD,
falls into many temptations
and snares, are exposes to
motions, which is evil
contrary to GOD’S law, have
the tendency to the eternal
ruin of their soul
*They fall into hurtful lust
Canal and wordly lust, the
lust of the flesh, the lust of
the eye, and the pride of life
as- defrauding of neighbors,
oppressing the poor, lying ,
theft, murder, rapine,
violence and injustice of all
kind
FOR THE LOVE OF MONEY
MONEY- The love of money
is the root of all kind of evil:
The love of money cause
people to covet, and
covetousness is idolatry
*The love of money causes
people to wander away from
the faith, to go after the lust
of the world
*The love of money cause
people to pierce themselves
through with many grief’s,
the possession and lusts of
this world do not satisfy not
fulfill a person’s heart and
life, money cannot bring
contentment to a person.
The love of money only
consumes and eats a person
with grief.

RICHES- WEALTH
Wealth will stand as a
witness against us on the day
of judgment- when we hoard
money and live extravagant
and lavishly without reaching
out to ravaging world of
poverty

MAN HOARDING WEALTH
The rich person faces a
intense Temptation so
intense that it will consume
him unless he lives ever so
close to the LORD.
The rich are always involving
in hoarding and banking
money instead of using it to
meet the needs of the
desperate and dying in the
world
The bible never condemn all
rich person, it only condemn
the rich who store up wealth
instead of using it to feed the
hungry,, cloth the naked,
shelter the cold and
homeless, nurse the sick, and
preach the glorious new of
salvation a around the word
that is under the weight of
desperate need
THE GREAT SUMMONS
o Weep and scream if
you are hoarding
wealth
o Weep and scream,
for wealth is not
lasting
o Weep and scream,
for hoarding of
wealth condemns you
o Weep and wail for
the way you are living
The rich person who has it
will contribute nothing to his
generation but
*Produce and building that
rot
*Clothing that is eaten away
*Gold and Silver that waste
away
What a terrible tragedy! To
have done nothing but leave
the world the material things
that age, corrupt, deteriorate
, rot, decay, and pass away
forever and ever, wealth
riches are physical thing it
does not last.

COVETOUSNESS- means love
of money or possession, a
person can love money
property, estate, house, cars
anything on earth.
Which is the desire of riches
and over anxious of care of
worldly things
*The believer’s very thought
is to be free from
covetousness, and focus on
JESUS CHRIST and the
glorious hope of life eternity,
and must not lust to the
things of the world
*A believer is to be content
with what he has. this does
not mean that a believer is
not to improve himself, nor
that he is not to work and
make money, scripture
teaches us that we work and
meet the need of the world

robbery; if riches increase,

TRUST NOT IN OPPRESSION
That is in riches gotten by
fraud , violence,robbrey or in
act of arcing them, neither
must you trust to ourselves
by which you may oppress
others to secure riches
IF RICHES INCREASE SET
NOT YOUR HEART UPON IT
Don’t love riches, to place
your hope , trust and joy in
them, or so as to grow proud

UPON RICHES WHICH IS
NOT-
Look upon riches with greedy
desire, employing, you eyes,
mind and body on it, for
riches are the true riches,
they are not lasting and
durable, in a little time their
will not be, they are perishing
things

20)A faithful man shall
abound with blessings but he
that maketh haste to be rich
shall not be innocent
|
A FAITHFULL MAN_ who is
true to GOD and man, shall
abound with blessing from
GOD, who deals truly and
justly in all his bargains and
transactions with men
THAT MAKE HASTE: More
than GOD allowed him; that
fraudulently and unjust in his
dealing
SHALL NOT BE INNOCENT
Shall not obtain the blessings
which he seeks, but shall
bring curses and miseries
upon him instead of them.
