our LORD JESUS CHRIST, that,
though he was rich, yet for
your sake he became poor,
that ye through his poverty
might be rich
YE KNOW THE GRACE OF
OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST:
The LORD JESUS CHRIST was
rich, he was the son of GOD,
possessing the very nature
and being and fullness of
GOD.
*We know the grace- the act
of gratuitous love whereby
the LORD emptied himself of
his previous heavenly glory
for the sake of mankind
HE WAS RICH,
Being the heir of all things,
the LORD of the whole
creation all thing was put
under his feet
HEBREW 1:2
YET FOR YOUR SAKE HE
BECAME POOR
The LORD JESUS CHRIST
became poor, yet that he
might accomplish the work of
our redemption, he took
upon him self, the form of a
servant, stripped himself of
his robes of glory, and
clothed himself with the rags
of flesh, denied himself in the
use of his creatures, had no
where to lay his
head(House), was
maintained and ministered to
him by the substance of his
creature
*GOD became a humble man
*The LORD took on flesh and
blood
*The Holy GOD took the
place of the lowest
*The LORD became the
lowest
*The LORD became the
subject
*The perfect one became the
sacrifice of sin
*The life became the
substitute for death
THAT YE THROUGH HIS
POVERTY MIGHT BE RICH:
And all this that you might
be made rich, with the riches
of grace and glory; rich in the
love of GOD, and in the habit
of divine grace
*JESUS CHRIST willingly
sacrifice so much to help us,
we ought to sacrifice so
much to help those in need,
just as JESUS CHRIST gave
everything for us when we
were in desperate need, so
we are to give everything to
meet the need of those who
are desperately lost in this
world.

sin for man
