16)And, behold one came
and said unto him, good
master what good thing
shall i do, that I may have
enter eternal life
17)And he said unto him,
why callest thou me good?
There is none good but one,
that is GOD; but if thou wilt
enter into life keep the
commandments
18)He saith unto him,
which? JESUS said, thou
shalt do no murder, thou
shalt do not commit
adultery, thou shall not
steal, thou shalt not bear
false witness
19)Honor thy Father and
thy mother: and thou shalt
love thy neighbor as thy self
20)The young man saith
unto him, all these things
have I kept from youth up:
what lack I yet?
21)JESUS said unto him, if
thou wilt be perfect, go and
sell that thou hast, and give
to the poor and thou shalt
have treasures in heaven
and come and follow me
GOOD MASTER WHAT
GOOD THING SHALL I DO
TO ENTER ETERNAL LIFE
There cometh a certain
ruler whether of
synagogues, civil magistrate,
one from the Sanhedrim or
civil authority, he runs, he
kneels to him paying him
JESUS CHRIST homage as a
superior he salutes him and
believing him to be a worthy
good man and deserving of
reverence and adoration
and he said, good Master
and propose a grave
question:
WHAT GOOD THING SHALL
I DO THAT I MAY HAVE
ETERNAL LIFE?
The young man believed
future state; was a serious
man, thoughtful about
another world, and
concerned how he should
enjoy everlasting life, asked
how he might receive
eternal life, seeking for
righteousness and life by
the works of law; he
expected eternal life, he
declares his desire of an
eternal happiness, by doing
something good to
obtaining it, with the
Messiah:
THE ERROR OF THE RICH
RULER

The rich ruler lived a self
righteous life, he did not
know that the only good
person was GOD and GOD
alone, the rich ruler had a
wrong perception about
the nature of man and saw
CHRIST only as a man, he
saw JESUS as a highly
regarded Teacher, he did
not consider JESUS to be the
SON of GOD, he perceived
JESUS as mere man not
GOD, he thought is one who
attained unusual moral
goodness and by such, he is
capable of teaching the
truth of life and GOD
JESUS TOLD THE RICH
RULER HOW TO ENTER
ETERNAL LIFE
CHRIST corrected the rich
ruler, There is none good
supremely, originally,
essentially, good, there is
only one which is good, the
author and the source of all
goodness; which cannot to
be said to be mere creature
that is GOD, GOD’S very
own son, called the SON of
GOD, GOD alone is perfectly
good, he is the fountain, the
pattern , the Ideal of all
goodness, all goodness is to
be measured by him
IF THOU WILL ENTER INTO
LIFE KEEP THE
COMMANDMENT
JESUS told him to keep
GOD’S commandments, and
JESUS then listed six
commandment that have to
do with duty of his duty
towards his neighbor:
v MURDER: concern over
our neighbor’s life

v
ADULTERY: takes the
body of our neighbor’s
wife from the original
husband STEALING:
concerns our neighbor’s
property
v
FALSE WITNESS:
concerns our neighbor’s
name and reputation
and falsifying of truth
v
HONOR FATHER AND
MOTHER: concerns of
our duty towards
parents
v
LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS
THY SELF: which is the
royal law, having
excellent relations with
all and sacrificially given
to the poor and needy
The rich man claims that he
had obeyed the
commandments that
CHRIST quoted, but he has
not obey edthem perfectly,
not in GOD’S eyes, not in
the Spirit which GOD
tended them to be kept, he
was not generous enough
with others, not giving and
helping like should.
ALL THESE THINGS HAVE I
KEPT FROM MY YOUTH UP
All these things have I kept
from my youth up, I have
made them the rule of my
life, I have endeavored to
obey them, is there
anything that I lack- are
there any new
commandments to keep?
Do you Messiah teach any
commandment beside this
law which I have learned
from the law? In other to be
saved?

JESUS IF THOU WILT BE
PERFECT GO AND SELL
THAT THOU HAST AND
GIVE TO THE POOR
JESUS CHRIST said one
thing thou lackest, he had
not loved his neighbor from
his heart, not from his spirit,
if he had, he would have
helped his neighbor much,
but he failed to love and
help his neighbor anywhere
close to what he should.
JESUS said if you want to be
perfect, that is, really obey
the commandments and
receive heaven, then
demonstrate to all publicly
that you love your neighbor:
then, GO, and sell your
possessions and give to the
poor,
The rich ruler loved the
world: he is rich and
unwilling to give up the
comfort and possession he
had obtained, He love
things of the world more
than he loved people, he
preferred living he refused
to help those who are in
desperate need , the poor,,
thirsty, hungry, diseased,
suffering orphan, widows,
lonely, empty and the lost,
he love dthe things of the
world than he loved eternal
life, he loved position ,
reignition and esteem
power of the earth more
than he loved CHRIST, he
worshiped money and made
it his Idol.
We cannot love GOD with
all our heart and keep the
money to ourselves, loving
him means using the money
the ways that please GOD,
we should however be
willing to give up anything if
GOD allows us to do so,
nothing comes between us
and GOD and keeps us from
using our GOD given wealth
for attending to the needs
of the ravaging world of
poverty.
MATTHEW 5:42
42)Give to him that asketh
thee, and from him that
would borrow of thee turn
not thou away
GIVE TO HIM THAT ASKETH
OF THEEE
Believers are to help those
in need, and readily ready
to help, he must give and
give and learn to trust GOD,
a believer is to live in eager
willingness to give and to
lend to persons who
request help and has a real
need, any concern he has
for this world and its
possession is only for
meeting up the necessities
of life and helping others.
He exist sfor meeting and
helping those who have
needs
GOD command uss to
provide for our own
household, and to do good
to all.
AND FROM HIM THAT WILL
BORROW TURN NOT AWAY
Turn not away or refuse
him not, with a denial: look
upon him with pleasant
countenance, cheerfully
lend him what he wants,
lend freely, hoping for
nothing again, not hoping
for the reward for giving or
lending , indeed the money
itself is not to be hoped for
again, that he is not able to
make a return, good will
comes to those who are
generous and lend freely,
Giving should be done
personally, every believer to
be personally involved in
the lives of others just as
himself JESUS command
believers to get personally
involved to help others and
it should be handled in such
a way that the dignity of the
receiver is protected and
restored
LUKE 3:9-11
9)And now also the axe is
laid unto the root of the
tress: every tree therefore
which bringeth not forth
good fruit is hewed down,
and cast into the fire
10)And the people asked
him saying, what shall we
do then?
11)He answereth and saith
unto them, he that hath two
coats, let him impart to him
that hath none; and he that
hath meat let him do
likewise
AND NOW ALSO THE AXE IS
LAID UNTO THE ROOT OF
THE TREE:
Some people wanted to be
baptized by John the
Baptist to escape eternal
punishment, but were not
ready to repent from sin, or
they are willing to change
the way the live,, GOD is
the divine wood man who
cuts down unfruitful trees,
the axe is already lying at
the root of the trees, the
tree are not yet cut down
but all men are warned
even the axe of GOD”S
judgment is swinging
towards the root of the
trees : so every tree that
does not produce good fruit
is being cut down and
thrown into fire.
There are many trees: some
proud, some bearing bad
fruits while some bears
good fruit, all tees that do
not bear good fruits will be
cut down and cast into the
fire.
AND THE PEOPLE ASKED
HIM WHAT SHALL WE DO
To avoid judgment of GOD,
John warned them to be

careful, not only to observe
the ritual and ceremonies of
religion, but to attend to the
great duties of Justice,
mercy and Charity, he that
hath two coats, let him
impart to him that hath
none; the average citizen
was to love and care
enough to share his
material goods with those
who were in need by giving
them clothing and food the
basic necessities of life, he
would give what he had, the
giver was to love and care
so much that he would be
gripped with mercy and
compassion , such fruit
would be evidence of
repentance, of a truly
changed man who seeks
GOD
LUKE 6:30-35
30)Give to every man that
asketh of thee; and of him
that taketh away thy goods
ask them not again
GIVE TO EVERY MAN THAT
ASKETH OF THEE
Give to every one that hath
the confidence to ask you,
a believer is to help those
who are in need, that he
gives does not turn away
when a person ask, he must
live in readiness to give and
lend, he lives for GOD and
for heaven, his attachment
to earthly things is only for
meeting the necessities of
life and for helping others,
he exist to help and give, to
meet his own necessities
and have enough to help
others in need.
IF ANY ONE TAKES WHAT
BELONGS TO YOU
If any takes what belongs
to you by permission,
having either lent them, or
sold them to him: and not
taken away by force, which
will be regarded as a thief or
robber, but one that takes
them by agreement, and is
able to make a return of
them, of such person ask
them not again, often a
person fails to pay back
what he borrowed,, he
takes and keeps back what
he borrowed, whether food
clothing ,tools, or money,
the believer is not to
demand them back , do not
exact or demand them, but
give him in the LORD’S
release, as the law requires
in DEUTERONOMY 15:2-8
LUKE 6:31
31)And as ye would that
men should do to you, do ye
also to them likewise
AND AS YE WOULD THAT
MEN SHOULD DO TO YOU
This represent the law of
nature and divine
revelation, the golden rule
of all justice and charity, the
golden rule reveals the
heart of GOD, it shows us
exactly how GOD’S heart
longs for us to live and act,
it revealed what a true life is
to be, is one-statement that
embrace all humans
behavior, which demand
true law and justice to
behave.
The golden rules teaches a
man not to tell lies,, steal,
cheat or injure, which
concerned true love , which
focuses on not doing wrong
and more of doing good,
helping, caring and giving
, it is concerned and seek
for ways of doing good that
you want other to do for
you and then doing that
good to others, which is
based on treating every
human being perfectly as
you like others to treat you,
it represents the whole law,
which is contained in one
word:
LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS
YOUR SELF to love and care
for him,, he is to bring
heaven down to earth
having taste of heaven on
earth.

32)For if ye love them
which love you, what thanks
have ye? For sinners also
love those that love them
33)And if ye do good to
them which do good to you,
what thanks have ye? For
sinners also do even the
same
34)And if ye lend to them
of whom ye hope to receive,
what thank have ye? For
sinners also lend to sinners,
to receive as much again
35)But love ye your
enemies, and do good, and
lend hoping for nothing
again; and your reward shall
be great, and ye shall be the
children of the Highest: for
he is kind unto the
unthankful and to the evil
FOR IF YE LOVE THEM
WHICH LOVE YOU WHAT
THANKS HAVE YE?
For if you love them which
love you love you what
grace have ye? Where is
your evidence of grace of
love, having receive favor
and grace from GOD the
Believers behavior must
surpasses an unbeliever , by
loving, doing good, and
lending, he loans his life to
the world, he must behave
like CHRIST: deny and
sacrifice himself in order to
win the world, which offers
them the privilege of being
saved, by the virtue of love,
goodness , doing good ,
sake of reaching out to the
unlovely for CHRIST
BUT LOVE YOUR ENEMIES
AND DO GOOD
But love unselfishly seeking
the best and the higher
good for your enemies, and
do good, and lend, the
believer expecting nothing
in return: do good to those
from whom you have no
expectation of receiving any
favor in return; and lend in
cases of great distress, and
expect nothing in return for
your reward will be great,
rich, abundantly, and you
will be the son of the Most
high: because he himself is
kind and gracious and good
to the ungrateful and the
wicked.
AND YOUR REWARD SHALL
BE GREAT
GOD will bless you and ,
you will receive a great
reward for having obeyed
the LORD and for having
sacrificed in order to meet
the needs of the dying
world, believer will receive
and inheritance of eternal
life, he shall be acting as
GOD’S child, demonstrating
and showing mercy, acting
as GOD acts, being merciful
, he wil
LUKE 11:41
41)But rather give alms of
such things as ye have and,
behold, all things are clean
unto you
BUT RATHER GIVE ALMS
OFSUCH THINGS AS YE
HAVE give that which is
within as charity , share
your content with your
neighbors as act of mercy
and compassion, not as
public display, but as
expression of your
faithfulness to GOD, it is our
duty to make the best use
of GOD given resource to
help desperate poor, GOD
does not cares for
ceremonies, in themselves,
and only care for
Compassion and mercy pure
good will towards others.
According to man’s ability,
and GOD has prospered him
in the world render it, that
which is necessary to give to
the poor and needy as you
propose in your heart let
him give.
Believers should use the
resources GOD has given to
them to be generous by
giving to those who are in
need and the poor around
us, that reveals the purity of
our hearts as internal
righteousness
The giving of one’s heart
cleanse everything, give
what you have, it is your
duty to make the best use
of it and do good, by giving
to the poor, you may show
your repentance for your
crimes in amassing wealth
and disapproval of your
former course of life, and
dispose henceforward to
live honestly.
what is inside the dish gives
meat , drink, your platters
and cups are full of wealth
gotten by injustice and
oppression give to the poor,
the one thing that a man
has which he can give , is
his heart, if he gives his
heart , then he will become
clean in all things, he will be
giving instead of taking,
giving to GOD and giving to
men, man is to give all he is
to GOD, by which he will
become clean within, by
giving all he has to GOD, by
which he demonstrates that
he is clean within..
The duty of those who have
by unjust gains become
wealthy by extortion which
hindered you of being clean,
and who are then converted
to GOD, they may devote
their property to GOD by
distributing it to the poor:
this show the disapproval of
former conduct, and will
show that you are a truly
repentant

has given him to do, he is to
leave his welfare in the

LUKE 19:1-10
1)And JESUS entered and
passed through Jericho
2)And behold, there was a
man named Zacchaeus,
which was the chief among
the publicans, and he was
rich
3)And he sought to see
JESUS who he was; and
could not for the press,
because he was little of
stature
4) And he ran before, and
climbed up into a sycamore
tree to see him: for he was
to pass that way
5)And when JESUS came to
the place, he looked up, and
saw him, and said unto him,
Zacchaeus, make haste, and
come down; for to day I
must abide at thy house
6)And he made haste, and
came down, and received
him joyfully
7)And when they saw it,
they all murmured, saying,
that he was gone to be
guest with a man that is a
sinner
8)And Zacchaeus stood and
said unto the LORD; behold,
LORD the half of my goods I
give to the poor; and if I
have taken anything from
any man by false accusation
I restore him fourfold
9) And JESUS said unto him
this day is salvation come to
this house, forasmuch as he
also is a son of Abraham
Those who sincerely desire
a sight of CHRIST, like
Zacchaeus, will break
through oppositions, and
take pains to see him,
CHRIST, one of the principal
tax-gatherers or head
collector or commissioner of
Custom, having heaped up
abundance of wealth by his
gainful employment
Zacchaeus was a very rich
man, the chief tax collector,
Chief among the publicans
he had the pleasure and
comfort money could buy
his wealth `will restrict him
to enter the kingdom of
GOD, his money was a
serious threat to his
salvation
Bieng desperate to see
JESUS CHRIST, despite his
wealth ,comfort and
pleasure enjoyed by wealth,
there is something lacking
within him , he is empty, he
had a great curiosity to see
him and could not for the
press of the multitude that
were flocking to meet JESUS
, being of a little stature, he
climbed up upon a
sycamore tree , he had to
humble himself to do that,
being of position and
wealth, he was determined
to see JESUS nothing will
stop him, he forgot
everything around him, he
had heard reports about ,
JESUS being the Messiah

10)For the s of man is come
to seek and to save that
which was lost
and perhaps have heard of
JESUS saving and calling
Matthew
AND WHEN JESUS CAME TO
THE PLACE
Where the tree stood, in
which Zacchaeus was,
CHRIST knows his people
and where to find them,
where they commonly
dwell, or where at any time
they are, he being GOD, he
knew Zacchaeus was on the
sycromore tree and JESUS
knew him , he being those
the FATHER had given to
him, and he loved him and
seek to save him,, looked
up, and said to him by his
grace, he called him by his
name , who was total
stranger and reveal himself
to him, which was surprising
to Zacchaeus to hear JESUS
called him be his name
Make haste, and come
down from the tree. JESUS
sees every man, no matter
where he is: in the dark
place of his sin and shame,
in his home and work place,
but JESUS sees the man who
is seeking him, he strived
diligently to see JESUS and
JESUS saw him
Zacchaeus obeyed he was a
sinner and he made haste
and receives JESUS CHRIST
joyfully , but the multitude
knew that Zacchaeus
serving oppressive regime
of alien power of Rome was
a betrayal but Zacchaeus
knew he was a sinner
confessed to the savior
Zacchaeus said to JESUS
that half of his possession
He gave to the poor , as
willingness to do good with
what he had gotten ; which
shows the disposition of his
mind was changed from
covetous oppressor, he
became tender-hearted,,
kind and generous ,he did
exactly what JESUS had said
time and time again, he
gave back to those whom
he had cheated,; he gave
four time what he had
taken, Zacchaeus repented
and changed his life; he
completely turn around
from his sinful life to GOD
and his way of
righteousness and JESUS
proclaimed salvation to his
house hold , the blessing of
the Gospel, and become
interested in the Messiah’s
kingdom, Salvation
commence when people
truly receive CHRIST and
their sins are forgiven; it is
complete when the soul is
sanctified .
JESUS is the one who seeks
to save the lost, who are the
ones perishing, being
destroyed, losing eternal
life, and being cut off from
GOD, a spiritual destitute,
JESUS is the one who sought
Zacchaeus and he put
himself in the position to
see CHRIST
