MATTHEW 19:27-30
27)Then answered Peter
and said unto him, behold,
we have forsaken all, and
follow thee; what shall we
have therefore?
28)And JESUS said unto
them, verily I say unto you,
that ye which have followed
me, in the regeneration
when the son of man sit in
the throne of his glory, ye
also shall sit upon twelve
thrones, judging the twelve
tribes of Israel
29)And every one that hath
forsaken houses, or
brethren, or sisters or
fathers, or mother, or wife
or children, or lands for my
name’s sake shall receive a
hundredfold, and shall
inherit everlasting life
BEHOLD WE HAVE
FORSAKEN ALL AND
FOLLOW THEE
Peter observing what
CHRIST said to the young
man, commanded him to
sell all that he had, and give
to the po
have treasures in heaven,
and come and follow me, ,
and he said We have
forsaken all, we have done
what the young ruler
refused to do , for though
indeed we had not much,
we have left all the little
that we had, and have at all
adventure and followed
after thee with much zeal
and affection what shall we
have therefore? Which
presupposes that their labor
was lost, because they were
to have no recompense on
earth.
JESUS said, I tell you the
truth, you have followed me
in the regeneration, during
this time and in which men
are to be regenerated and
created a new by the
Gospel, and the earth
renewed in righteousness.
It means that a person
who serves and puts CHRIST
first before all, including
families and friends, it must
leave behind all sinful ways,
evil association, that is put
following CHRIST first,
believers were to be
wonderfully rewarded, the
word( regeneration) means
recreation, restoration, new
birth, which was used by
JESUS CHRIST to refer to the
restoration of everything, a
period of time in the future
when he will set up the new
order of things under his
personnel rule and reign,
which is the redemption
refer as the kingdom of
GOD, when the Son of GOD

or, and he should

should have sit on his
glorious throne.
Everyone that has forsaken,
means every true believer
who are self-denial , who
have surrendered so much
,they shall be greatly
rewarded because he left
all; and he has given the
supreme allegiance to JESUS
CHRIST.
Shall receive a hundredfold
in this present time in this
world, the love of GOD, the
presence of CHRIST and the
comfort of the Holy Spirit,
100 time as much peace,
joy and shall inherit
everlasting life , Shall enjoy
eternal happiness and glory
which GOD has prepared for
all his believers, especially
for those who cheerfully
made such sacrifices, as
those who have given their
faith and love to GOD and
Savior
BUT MANY THAT ARE FIRST
SHALL BE LAST
REWARD and JUDGMENT
Many person shall be
switched around; many who
we esteemed or valued the
highest shall be placed last,
and many whom we
thought weakest and lowest
shall be placed first, many
of the rich, like the young
ruler; who were superior in
riches and honor, were first
in this world, of rank and
figure should be last in the
world to come, and
believers, who are last in
this world, being sacrificial
in giving, and distributing to 20
the poor and needy, shall be
first

earth, where moth and rust
doth corrupt, and where
thieves break through and
steal
20)But lay up yourselves
treasures in heaven, where
neither moth nor rust doth
corrupt, and where thieves
do not break through nor
steal
21)For where your treasure
is there will your heart be
also
LAY NOT UP FOR
YOURSELVES TREASURES
UPON EARTH
Believers must guide
against centering our lives
around treasures that are of
an earthly nature and kind ,
the more valuable and
excellent things and place,
in which these are laid up,
as:
House, cars, building,
money, furniture, Change of
clothes, as well as in gold,
siler, land, in abundance of
anything in comfort of live,
JESUS CHRIST here
discourages from
covetousness, and worldly
mindedness; an anxious
care and concern, to hoard
up plenty of worldly things
for themselves and making
no use of them at present
for the good of others , he
said that we are not to store
up for ourselves earthly
riches and material
possession JESUS said man
is not to focus his life on
earthly things, not to set his
eyes, Heart , energy and
effort fading and passing
treasures.
Earthly riches are
corruptible, it stop him
from entering heaven age,
it decays, wasting away, it is
all corruptible and
temporal:
They can be stolen or eaten
up
They do not last: they waste
away
A person cannot take a
single thing with him when
he passes from this world
Things are on the earth only
for a brief time with seed of
corruption and destruction ,
everything things that
dominates a person’s life
and holds it fast to this
earth.
TREASURES IN HEAVEN
Lay up for yourselves
treasures in heaven, that is,
put them into the hand of
GOD in heaven: and this is
done, by liberally giving to
the poor, by which means
men provide themselves
bags which wax not old, and
a treasure in heaven that
failed not, laying up in store
for themselves , a good
foundation against the time
to come, have provision
made for your eternal
riches, ,which are
incorruptible it worth more
than all the wealth in the
world, there are
imperishable, indestructible
seed,, an eternal nature of
incorruption
ACTS 2: 44-45
44)And all that believed
were together, and had all
things common
45)And sold their
possessions and goods, and
parted them to all men, as
every man had need
AND ALL THAT BELIEVED
WERE TOGETHER
They believed that JESUS
was the Messiah; the early
believers were people who
were together who shared
in ministry, were united;
were joined in the same
thing, all had things in
common, that is all their
property or possession, they
are of one mind and of
judgment and doctrine and
agreed in the same

principle, were cordially
assisted each other and
mutually assisted each
others in all things, their
worldly goods, their
possessions and estate no
man called anything
particular his own: and
whatever he had, his
brother was welcome to
use freely, as it was his own
the same call, mind and
purpose
The believer sold their
possessions , they
relinquished their titles of
all their property, but that
they so far regarded all as
common as to be willing to
part with it, and goods and
used the money to minster
or distributed them to the
meet the need of the poor
and the needy
ACTS 9:36-41
36)Now there was at Joppa
a certain disciple named
Tabitha which by
interpretation is called
Dorcas , this woman was full
of good works and alms
deeds which she did
37)And it came to pass in
those days, that she was
sick, and died; whom when
they had washed, they laid
her in an upper chamber
38)And forasmuch as Lydda
was nigh to Joppa, and the
disciples had heard that
Peter was there, they sent
unto him two men, desiring
him that he would not delay
to come to them
39)Then Peter arose and
went with them, when he
was come, they brought him
into the upper chamber;
and all the widows stood by
him weeping, and showing
the coats and garments
which Dorcas made, while
she was with them
40)But Peter put them all
forth, and kneeled down,
and prayed; and turning him
to the body said, Tabitha,
arise, and she opened her
eyes; and when she and he
gave her his hand, and lifted
her up, and when he had
called the saints and
widows presented her alive
NOW THERE WAS AT
JOPPA A CERTAIN DISCIPLE
NAMED TABITHA
Dorcas spent her life in acts
of kindness and charity, she
was full of the love of GOD
Dorcas made an enormous
impact on her community
by being full of good works,
such as making coats and
other garments for the
poor,
She fell sick and died, she
died right in the midst of
her ministry when she was
needed, there were so
many poor and being one of
the few that help to meet
the needs of the poor
The disciple demonstrate
great faith Peter in the
possibility that the LORD
could raise the dead and
meet the cry of their
hearts, they had enough
faith not to bury her, to go
to Peter and ask him to
come and quickly without
delay believing that the
LORD could raise the dead,
he was the servant of the
LORD so was deeply
concerned and
compensates of the cries
that reach his ear and he
responded,.
A deep sorrow was
expressed for Dorcas, a
dedicated believer, on the
arrival of Peter, they took
him into the upper
chambers, the widows
whom she had helped so
readily surrender Peter,
weeping from their broken
hearts began to show Peter
the clothes Dorcas had
made and given them,
pointing to the coats and
garments, they were
actually putting them on
Peter excused every one
from the room, he got ,
alone and seek the LORD,
he had to concentrate and
meditate: his thoughts had
to be undisturbed before
the LORD: the source of
power to raise the dead is
JESUS CHRIST Peter prayed
both for power to raised
Dorcas
ACTS 10:1-4
1)There was a certain man
in Caesarea called Cornelius,
a centurion of the band
called the Italian band
2) a devout man, and one
that feared GOD with all his
house which gave much
alms to the people, and
prayed to GOD always
3)He saw in a vision
evidently about the ninth
hour of the day an angel of
GOD coming in to him, and
saying unto him Cornelius
4)And when he looked on
him, he was afraid
, and said, what is it , LORD?
And he said unto him, thy
prayers and thine alms are
come up for a memorial
before GOD
THERE WAS A CERTAIN
MAN CALLED CORNELIUS
There was a man in
cesarean of Palestine,
where Philip had been and
preached before, about the
doctrine of salvation by
faith in JESUS CHRIST
ACTS 8:40 he is called
Cornelius a centurion of
what was known as the
Italian Regiment one who
was the commander of a
division of the Roman Army,
consisting of 100 men, a
devoted man, who
renounced idolatry and who
observed some of the Jews
rites, who believed in the
living GOD,
A DEVOUT MAN AND ONE
THAT FEARED GOD WITH
ALL HIS HOUSEHOLD
Cornelius had an unusual
reverence for GOD, he is a
devout man who
worshipped the true and
living GOD, a GOD fearing
man from his heart: one
who sensed the presence of
GOD in the world and knew
he was responsible to GOD,
to live righteously, justly,
and morally with all men ,
and the sincerity of his
devotion to GOD is evidence
by the character of his
household that fear GOD
and engaged to do likewise,
he and his household
prayed always in his closet,
and with his family
WHICH GAVE MUCH ARMS
TO THE PEOPLE
He regarded both tables of
the law , both to worship
and love GOD and the love
of the neighbor like our self
He gave much alms to the
people: to the Jews that
dwelt at Caesarea, and
therefore was of good
report among them, and
much beloved by them
IN A VISION
Cornelius was given a
vision from GOD, the vison
involved an angel bringing a
message from GOD, he was
in prayers when the vision
came, which involved an
angel bringing a message
from GOD, he focused his
attention and Cornelius
realized that the angel was
from GOD due the
appearance and his shining
clothes
The message to Cornelius
was that his prayer and
generous alms giving had
come before GOD as a
memorial, as remembrance
and evidence of devotion
before GOD, that is, the
prayer which he had put up
in faith, for himself and
family, and the charitable
actions he had performed
from the principle of love,
were like sacrifice upon the
alter, which ascended to
GOD with acceptance,
which was acceptable
through JESUS CHRIST
ACTS 20:35
32) I have coveted no man’s
silver, or gold, or apparel.
33)Yea, ye yourselves know
that these hands have
ministered unto my
necessities, and to them
that were with me
35) I have showed you all
things, how that so laboring
ye ought to support the
weak, and to remember the
words of the LORD JESUS,
how he said, it is more
blessed to give than to
receive
I had no desire for anyone’s
silver or gold or expensive
clothes, Paul did not covet
worldly wealth, he did not
covet silver or gold or
clothing, he did not desire
or had he made it an object
of his living among them to
obtain properties from
members or money, Paul
had the power to demand
support in the ministry as
reward for his labor yet he
did no choose to exercise it.
His mind and thought were
not focus in worldly things,
money, property, clothing,
house, Cars etc., he desires
for something more
important:
The kingdom of GOD and
his righteousness, meeting
the desperate needs of the
world, teaching and sharing
the glorious gospel of JESUS
CHRIST of life eternal, and
delivering men out of the
slavery of sin ,
The minister and teacher of
the gospel must be totally
committed to teach and
preach the Gospel and
spreading of the gospel
though financially support
of others
You know personally that
these hands, which he then
held up, or stretched out, at
tent making, along with
Aquila’s and Priscilla
ACT 18:2 ministered to my
own needs, for food and
clothing, working in manual
labor and to those of the
people who were with me,
Paul labored at secular
work, he was a tent maker,
which was done to meet his
own provisions, to help
fellow ministers serving
under him and to help the
weak , poor and needy ,
I HAVE SHOWED YOU ALL
THING HOW SO LABORING:
I have thought you by
instruction and example, I
have not merely discussed
about but have showed you
how to do it.
All things In everything I
showed the proper mode of
life of my self-denial and
labor ,by example that by
working hard in this way
you must help the weak,
provide for the needs of
others, the sick, the feeble
and remember the words of
the LORD JESUS that he
himself said, it is more
blessed, comfortable,
honorable , pleasant and it
brings greater joy to give
than to receive
ROMANS 15:1
1)We then that are strong
ought to bear the infirmities
of the weak, and not to
please ourselves
2)Let every one of us please
his neighbor for his good to
edification
WE THEN THAT ARE
STRONG OUGHT TO BEAR:
Who have attained a
greater degree of
knowledge in spiritual
things, have a clearer
judgment, and are from
these misgivings and doubt ,
to accommodate ourselves
to their weakness, brotherly
love and mutual kindness
and patience
Ought to bear, to lift up
The believer must live,
help, support, and live for
the good of our neighbor
so that they may be edified
and built up faith, believer
shas the greatest patten in
the world for denying self
and living for his neighbor

GOD expects the believer to

good work.

to the poor his

justifying the believer’s

may endure forever, GOD

in all ways so that the
believer can continue to

EPHESIANS 4:28
28)Let him that stole steal
no more; but rather let him
labor, working with his
hands the thing which is
good, that he may have to
give to him that needeth
LET HIM THAT STOLE STEAL
NO MORE
The stealer is no more to
steal, theft, the believer is
to stop stealing and strip
away the garment of
stealing, don’t steal
anything that does not
belong to you, a person
steals by taking fraudulently
taking away of another
man’s good, without the
knowledge and will of the
owner, for the sake of gain,
something which is actually
possess or personally
owned by another person,
by hoarding, fraud, cheat a
person steal when he keeps
back what is desperately
needed by others, taking
away what nature and earth
have provided to meet the
needs of human population,
hoarding the knowledge
and gift and blessing GOD
gave to be used for the
welfare of the desperate
world filled with so many
who are less privileged and
gifted .
A person steals by living
extravagantly, beyond what
he needs and yet they did
not live sacrificially, they
keep plenty for themselves ,
indulge their flesh in sinful
nature of Clothing, in
houses, building, cars,,
recreation and in property,
while every day we are
awaken to the world
revolving under the weight
of hunger and starving to
death, those without
adequate clothing, those
who are diseased and
without medicine , those
without roof on their head,
who have no one to teach
them and direct them to
CHRIST
BUT RATHER LET HIM
LABOR WORKING WITH HIS
HAND THE THINGS WHICH
IS GOOD
That every believer should
work with his hands the
thing which is good:
laboring with diligence and
industry, at any
manufacture, trade, or
business, which is honest,
lawful and good have some
calling business, or
profession, by which he may
support himself, an example
is the savior as carpenter
and Paul a tent maker,
Christianity promotes
industry, it is rare an idle
man becomes a believer .
Believer sshould have some
useful and honest
employment be diligent, he
should labor in other to
have the means of doing
good and benefiting others
the poor , sick and aged,
afflicted, they should work
that which is good so that
he should have to give to
those who are in need

they be rich in good works,

19)Laying up instore for

CHARGE THEM THAT ARE
RICH IN THIS WORLD;
They should not value

their wealth, or look down
with pride and arrogance or
suppose that they are any
better people or any nearer
heaven because of they are
wealthy, he must guide
against believing that his
riches or possession make
him a good person, riches
don’t make a person quality
person, so riches and
possession do not make a
person better or more
important than anyone else
The rich man is not to trust
in the uncertainty of riches,
riches are about the most
uncertain thing in life, that
are here to day and gone
tomorrow
PROVERBS 23:4-5
BUT TO TRUST IN THE
LIVING GOD
Every good gifts come from
him; all the gift of nature,
and abundances of
provision , as he give he can
take away, as he gives
richly, largely, and
plenteously; what is
necessary and convenient
and deserve. The rich man is
to trust in GOD fix and set
his heart and life upon GOD,
he is the owner of riches
THAT THEY DO GOOD THAT
THEY BE RICH IN GOOD
WORKS
The rich person is to do
good and to be rich in good
works or deeds the deeds
of the rich man is to
distribute his wealth and be
generous to the necessities
of the poor; making them
common to them, treat the
poor and admit them of a
free conversation with them
GOD expects the rich to do
good and be rich in good
deeds, he is to be generous
and sacrificial in meeting
the need sof the poor and
needy and the dying world,
LAYING UP IN STORE FOR A
GOOD FOUNDATION
AGINST THE TIME TO COME
The only way any one who
is rich can lay hold of
eternal life is to give life to
those who are dying in the
sins and poverty of their
world , for there is no other
foundation laid, that is for
happiness , life and
salvation that can be laid,
which is JESUS CHRIST laying
up a foundation in heaven.
HEBREWS 13:16
16)But to do good and to
communicate forget not; for
with such sacrifices GOD is
well please
BUT TO DO GOOD AND TO
COMMUNICATE FORGET
NOT
The believer should not
neglect to do good, he
must do good sacrificially,
to contribute to the poor
and needy, to communicate
or impact to : that is to
share with them what we
have, that is alms: which
should be attended to: it
should be given or be
exercise to all men in need,
we should show kindness,
and be generous to those
who are in want, and to
take special pains not to
forget this duty, there is
great danger of forgetting
the duty which we owe to
the poor and the needy
FOR SUCH SACRIFICE GOD
IS PLEASED
They are praiseworthy of
the favor of GOD and
eternal life: for what a man
gives in a way of Charity is
but what GOD has given him
yet doing good this way,
when is done in faith,
springs from love, and
directed to the glory of
GOD, is well pleasing to
GOD, he will at present
greatly reward with
temporal and spiritual
blessing; and with
everlasting riches and glory
in heaven

does the love of GOD live in

GOD
Love is expressed by
sincerely helping person in
need , that is by sharing our
earthly possessions with
them, to refuse to give our
food, clothing or money to
help others in real need is
to close our hearts to them
that are in dire need,, how
can a man love GOD who
does not love those who
bears his image? If we have
the more necessities of life
and see a person in need,
how can we close our heart
against him? How can we
shut off feelings from him?
If a person does this how
can the love of GOD dwell in
us? The love of GOD does
not exist within a person
who does not help those
whom he sees in need. If we
are not giving, helping
sacrificially to meet the

word, we do not love GOD
