9)How long wilt thou sleep, o
sluggard? When wilt thou arise
out of thy sleep
10)Yet a little sleep, a little
slumber, a little folding of the
hands to sleep
11)So shall thy poverty come as
one that traveleth, and thy want
as an armed man
HOW LONG WILL YOU SLEEP O (SLUGGARD)
LAZY MAN
When the industrious ants are watchful
and labor, busy getting their provisions, not
only in the day time, but even by night,
when the moon shines ,the sluggard/lazy
man slept away, to the neglect of the affairs
of life, nor concerned for future state.
When will the sluggards/lazy man arise out
of his sleep? And be about his lawful calling?
Doing the duties of gospel, and the business
of life; providing things honest in the sight of
men; things necessary for himself and
family, and to do good to others exercising a
conscience void of offence both to GOD and
man
FOLDING OF HANDS
To lie down a few tossing and tumbling upon
the bed more, with his hands folded about
his breast, a sleeping gesture, and the
posture of sluggard/Lazy man,
Believer must not be slothful/lazy must
work with their heart, with diligent,
discipline and ability to get out of bed, must
be aware of strong work ethics.
This fate of the sluggard of pleasure
seeking which he desires leads on to a
confirmed laziness, which in the end leaves
him powerless, thus his life runs to waste;
and poverty, gradually draws near, like a
traveler; and when it arrives, is like an
armed man, too strong to be resisted
All this may applies to the concerns of our
souls who love their sleep of sin and their
dream of worldly happiness to awaken and
give diligence to secure our salvation

3) JESUS answered, neither hath
this man sinned, nor his parents;
but that the works of GOD should
be made manifest in him
4)I must work the works of him
that sent me, while it is day; the
night cometh, when no man can
work
WORK OF GOD BE MADE MANIFEST
Neither has this man sinned- That the
blindness is not a result of sin, or that of his
parents JESUS corrects the disciples
erroneous belief that every serious affliction
is the result of some sin, sometime suffering
is permitted for divine purpose ,
BUT THAT THE WORKS OF GOD
This things has happened that it might
appear now great and wonderful are the
works of GOD, by the work of GOD, here, is
evidently intended the miraculous power
which GOD would put to heal the man, as
an act of mercy and power.
It has all happened, not by the fault of his
parents or himself, but by the wise
arrangement of GOD
I MUST WORK THE WORK OF HIM THAT
SENT ME
We are destined by GOD to work his works
as long as we live, and until death do we put
an end to our activity our LORD JESUS
clearly states the common human point of
view, and says life is the time for working
and must be more diligent.
WHILE IS THE DAY
While I have an opportunity; while the time
last, which is appointed to work in while the
light lasts, which is given to work
THE NIGHT COMETH, WHEN NO ONE CAN
WORK
As if he had said, I see death approaching,
which, as it put a period in general to human
labors , so will close the scene of such labors
as these, which is the time of doing the will
of the FATHER, and glorifying him on earth,
thus, the consideration of our death
approaching, should quicken us to a diligent
improvement of all doing good before the
night cometh- it will come certainly
Every believer is to work while the time of
his life lasts, for the night of death will
come, when no man can any longer work
out his salvation.

4) He becometh poor that
dealeth with a slack hand; but
the hand of the diligent maketh
rich
5)He that gathereth in summer
is a wise son; but he that sleepth
in harvest is a son that causeth
shame summer
HE BECAME POOR THAT DEAL WITH A
SLACK HAND
The diligent gain wealth by working hard,
the lazy do not work and suffer poverty, the
righteous do not set back idly and wait for
GOD to drop money or life necessities in his
dwelling place .
God provides for those who are diligent and
possess a strong work ethic.
GOD will never bless Lazy, undiscipline
people, that is the person who deals with a
slack hand is the person who do not work at
all, who neglect and careless in his or her
responsibilities
BUT THE HAND OF THE DILIGENT MAKE
RICH
The diligent worker is who are careful and
industrious mind in their business, and do
honest part; these with divine blessing,
frequently grow rich
HE THAT GATHERS IN SUMMER IS A WISE
SON
The wise work in season and prosper, the
foolish sleep in season and miss the
opportunity
Those who are diligent recognize the
urgency and necessity of taking full
advantage of opportunities to work, which is
time of laying them up against future
demand, as the ant is said to do and
opportunities of doing good to the poor and
needy.
BUT HE THAT SLEEPING HARVEST BRINGS
SHAME
The believer must be diligent and be
dedicated and industrious to perform in his
several calling, not to sleep when the
plenteous harvest lies ready for the reaping
hook is extreme laziness, dullness, idleness,
sleepiness that brings shame and poverty.

stumbleth not, because he seeth
the light of this world
10)But if a man walk in the night,
he stumbleth, because there is
no light in him
ARE NOT THE HOUR OF THE DAY TWELVE
A day consist of twelve hours which was
divided according to segments
A man has comfort and satisfaction while in
the way of duty as set forth from the word
of GOD, determined by the providence of
GOD, when man walk in the day, he would
not mistime and focus diligently on the
work, is the day we must work, which is
appointed by the EATHER
The day of his work is illuminated by the
light of heaven, and for him and them there
is safety, labor when the day
it was proper to labor until the close, it is
the proper time for one to work, the night of
death was coming and no work could be
