PROVERBS 26:13-15
|
13)The slothful man saith, there
is a lion in the way; a lion is in the
street
14)As the door turneth upon his
hinges, so doth he slothful upon
his bed
15)the slothful hideth his hand
in his bosom; it grieveth him to
bring it again to his mouth

THE WAY OF THE LAZY MAN THERE WAS A
LION ON THE WAY
The Lazy being sent in the way ordered by
his master to go out to work when he makes
the following excuse to escape going to
work, there is a lion in the way; a lion in the
street; in the way of the farm , where his
business lies or leads unto, which is very idle
excuse, that applies to lazy man they make
not to attend to duty
The slothful man hates every thing that
requires care and labour as he tries all to
excuse himself from real duties by
nonexistent difficulties, having seen slothful
man in the fear of his work, he does not care
to get forward with his business , this is
common to men who will not do their duty,
to pretend they cannot,
Those that are slothful in religion,, will not
take the pain to study and meditate in the
word of GOD but relies in their pastors.
Laziness is a problem within society, no
matter where , lazy people are in efficient,
less productive, more likely to have
accidents, and fail to contribute all they can
to society, Lazy worker produce less, lazy
worker learn less, lazy student learn less,
and lazy property owners have unkempt ,
unattractive, and deteriorating properties.

TITUS 2:9-10

9)Exhort servants to be obedient
unto their own masters, and to
please them well in all things; not
answering again
10)Not purloining (stealing), but
showing all good fidelity; that
they may adorn the doctrine of
GOD our savior in all things

EXHORT SERVANT TO BE OBEDIENT UNTO
THEIR MASTERS
The believing worker must be obey all their
master lawful commands and to please
them well in all things; not only to obey to
serve them, and do what they order, but to
seek and endeavor to do it in such a way as
may be grateful, acceptable, and well
pleasing to them, whereby an interest in
their affection, regard, and commendation,
may be gained; and should be done always,
and in all things, that are not contrary to the
Christian religion, and laws of GOD
THAT THEY WILL BE PLEASING IN ALL
THINGS
That is, be satisfied and contented with
such as they have, and in their state and
condition as workers and cheerfully abide in
the calling wherein we are called
NOT ANSWERING AGAIN
A man who becomes voluntarily a
servant/worker bind himself to obey his
master cheerfully and quietly, he makes a
contract to obey his master not to instruct
him., nor wasting the goods they are trust
with, showing all good trustworthiness to
improve the masters goods, and promote
his prospering .
Not making confident or bold reply to their
master orders, or complains, either in a
flippant or rude or grumbling manners,
which is common to worker, and which
greatly provokes and contradicting the
commands of their masters
NOT PURLONING(STEALING) BUT SHEWING
ALL GOOD FIDELITY
Not to take away for oneself or
approbation to oneself of what pertained to
a common stock, or what belonged to one in
whose employ you are, as embezzlement of
public funds, or apply to his own use what
belonged to his master
THAT THEY MAY ADORN THE DOCTRINE OF
GOD OUR SAVIOR
That they may not be scandal or reproach
to the gospel to which we belong and
approving ourselves as faithful servant of
the LORD JESUS CHRIST

PROVERBS 28:19
|
19)He that tilleth his land shall
have plenty of bread; but he that
followeth after vain persons shall
have poverty enough
|
HE THAT TILL THE LAND SHALL HAVE
PLENTY OF BREAD
The diligent labor and able to provide for
their family needs, the wise are industrious
and willing to work diligently to provide for
their needs, they work their land to support
food for their tables, exercising their energy
and resources on those thing that are
fruitful and honest , as a result there area
abundantly blessed; they have enough food
and surplus to sell
If we work diligently, we will have what we
need and more, but if we waste our time
and resources by following empty, worthless
pursuits or fantasies or easy, get rich-quick
scheme, he will have nothing but an
abundance of poverty

18)Servants, be subject to your
masters with all fear; not only to
the good and gentle, but also to
the froward (CUREL)
19)For this is thankworthy, if a
man for conscience toward GOD
endure grief, suffering wrongfully
20)For what glory is it, when ye
be buffeted for your faults, ye
shall take it patently? But if,
when ye do well, and suffer for it,
ye take it patiently, this is
acceptable with GOD

SERVANT BE SUBJECT TO YOUR MASTERS
WITH ALL FEAR;
With reference to the persons, strict
regards to their commands, faithfulness in
any trust reposed in them, diligence in the
discharge of their duty, and carefulness of
offending them.
NOT ONY TO THE GOOD AND GENTILE BUT
ALSO TO THE CUREL
Not only to those masters that are good
natured, kind, beneficent, and merciful;
that do not use them with rigor and severity;
are moderate in their demand of service;
but also to the froward/cruel ill natured and
rigorous; who exact more labor than is
required; given hard words and hard blows;
withholding sufficiency of food from them,
and keep back the hire of their labors
