it lawful to do good on the
Sabbath days, or to do evil?
To save life or to kill? But
they held their peace

round about on them with
anger, being grieved for the
hardness of their hearts, he

Stretched forth thine hand,
and he stretched it out; and
his hand was restored whole

TRUE RELIGION IS TO DO
GOOD AND SAVE LIFE
The religionist false teachers
don’t attend church to serve
GOD but to observe rules,
ceremonies, rituals, false and
man made doctrine
They are in church to look at
those who don’t keep their
man made rules and
regulation
TRUE RELIGION IS TO DO
GOOD AND SAVE LIFE
True religion is doing good
and saving lives.
JESUS CHRIST show us what
is true religion by doing good
and saving lives by the
healing, is not is rules, and
regulation, not ceremony and
ritual,
True religion is to meet the
need of the person in need,
because if JESUS withholds
the healing, he has withheld
good and the saving lives
True religion don’t live by
rules and regulations,
ceremony and rituals, nor
seek to isolate cut or kill man
but True religion is doing
good and saving lives

UNDERSTANDING THE
REASON OF SABBATH
/SUNDAY
The Sabbath or Sunday is not
rules and regulations, which
false and Religionist look for
rules , regulation ceremony
and rituals.
The Sabbath or Sunday is
given to help man as man is
far more important than
rules, regulation, ceremony
and rituals
*The Sabbath is not for rules,
ceremony and rituals
*The Sabbath was given to
help man
*The Sabbath is to be
governed by JESUS CHRIST
JESUS and the disciple
passed through a corn field
on a day of worship, they
have not eaten and decided
to pluck the ear of corn, to
eat
*Hunger takes precedence
to rules , regulation and
ceremony, which is much
needful JESUS know that the
disciples need food, which
was greater than rules,
regulation and ceremony
He told the story of what
David had done (1 Sam. 21:1-
6) David was fleeing from
Saul, and he and his men
were hungry, not having
eaten for some time, David
went in and request food
from the priest, but there
was no food, they was
only(shewbread) consecrated
bread that was forbidden to
be eaten by anyone other
than priest.
*Despite the law, David took
five loaves, and he and his
men ate the forbidden or
unlawful bread
*JESUS was saying, that a
great man of GOD, and man
after GOD own heart(David),
has broken the ceremonial
law of GOD, yet he was
justified because his need for
bread was greater than
keeping a ceremonial law
*JESUS stated that the
Sabbath was made for man
and not master of man.
Man and has needs take
precedence over any
ceremonial law, as man is far
more important than rules
and regulation, far more
important than ceremony,
rituals and religion, the first
duty of man is to worship
GOD and to meet the needs
of his fellow man.
Therefore, the son of man
JESUS CHRIST is the lord also
of the Sabbath, has the
Sabbath day in his power,
and may rule it as he desires

man which had his hand

what man shall there be

he not lay hold on it, and lift

12)How much then is a man
better than a sheep?

MAN IS IMPORTANT THAN
RELIGION, RULES, RITUALS,
CEREMONIES ETC.
JESUS CHRIST asked, is a
man more important than
religion? That is keeping the
Sabbath/church rules, rituals
and ceremony that meeting
his need.
*Nothing should keep us
from meeting man’s needs
from putting him and his
needs first before all religious
ritual, it is the way the heart
of man can be reached and
satisfied, and the way the
church can stop the loss of
people who are lost in
droves who come from the
front door and leave through
the back door
*The Religionist put
everything before man:
maintaining religion
organization, rituals,
ceremony, customs, service,
order, rules, regulation- all
seems to be more important
to them than meeting man’s
needs, nothing should stop
us from putting man’s
needs first before all needs
before all religious ritual and
ceremony
*The religionist, allows
religion, tradition, ritual,
ceremony become more
important than meeting the
need of human life:
MAN GREATER
JESUS said that doing good
for man supersedes religions
and Sabbath/church rules,
we are to help a person who 6
has needs before we worry
about keeping the rituals ,
rules and religion
They are many ways for us to
go about doing good on the
LORD Day:
Ø Worshiping
Ø Visiting the lost and
needy
Ø Feeding the hungry
Ø Helping those caught
in unexpected
distress
Ø Caring for those who
are sick
Ø Bringing

GOOD
Doing good and saving life
are more important than
religious rituals.
The great ethical principle,
that is not to neglect any
opportunity of doing good on
Sabbath , better to do good
than to do evil on Sabbath
day, implying that to omit to
do good was in fact doing evil
Doing good and saving life
never abuses the Sabbath or
Sunday, in fact, there is no
better day to help and
minster than on the LORD’S
day
*If we do not help people-no
matter the day,even on
Sabbath or Sunday-then we
are withholding good and
doing evil to our neighbor

SABBATH DAY FOR
TEACHING AND PREACHING
JESUS taught in the morning
service Sabbath/Sunday with
authority, his teaching was
not ordinary, not the kind of
teaching the people were
used to hear, about rules,
regulation, tradition, which is
man centered
*They were astonished at his
doctrine the message had
authority
His message had authority of
God’s spirit
His message had a
commanding force to it
His massage had the power
of GOD’s sprit upon it, which
accelerating the word to the
hearts of the hearers

woman which had a spirit of
infirmity eighteen years, and
was bowed together, and
could in on wise lift up
herself
12)And when JESUS saw her,
he called her to him, and said
unto her, woman, thou art
loosed from thine infirmity
13)And he laid his hands on
her; and immediately she
was made straight, and
glorified GOD
14)And the ruler of the
synagogue answered with
indignation, because that
JESUS had healed on the
Sabbath day, and said unto
the people, there are six days
in which men ought to work:
in them therefore come and
be healed, and not on the
Sabbath day
15)The LORD then answered
him, and said, thou
hypocrite, doth not each one
of you on the Sabbath loose
his ox or his ass from the
stall, and lead him away to
watering?
16)And ought not this
woman being a daughter of ,
Abraham whom Satan hath
bound, lo, these eighteen
years be loosed from this
bond on the Sabbath

SABBATH TO DO GOOD AND
SAVE
Thus, the woman needed
spiritual healing as well as
physical healing, she was in
worship despite her
deformity, to seek favor from
GOD upon her life.
She receive JESUS word the
good news woman thou are
free from your infirmities and
the touch, she experience
JESUS word of power of
healing, is the LORD alone
who can heal those who are
bowed down, humiliation
and shame
Sin
*The Religionist got angry,
for healing on Sabbath day ,
misunderstand GOD’s law of
Sabbath, and allowed
tradition and rituals,
ceremony and rules to
become more important
than meeting the basic needs
of human life, the need for
GOD and the need for
spiritual , physical, and
mental help all take back seat
to the religionist, but man
made doctrine
The religionist are not
concerned about the woman
who had a spiritual need, she
was bound for eighteen years
by Satan
*The crime committed by
JESUS was breaking the
Sabbath law by healing in the
day of the Sabbath that is by
working on the Sabbath day
*The religionist problem was
that they had allowed
religion, ritual, ceremony
position, recognition to
become more important
than the essentials human
life: personal need and
compassion, and the true
worship and mercy of GOD
