necessities, and to them that
were with me

things, how that so laboring

weak, and to remember the
words of the LORD JESUS,
how he said, it is more
blessed to give than to
received
I HAVE COVETED NO MAN’S
SILVER, OR GOLD, OR
APPAREL
The believer is to labor and
give, not coveting worldly
wealth
*Paul said I have coveted- I
have not made it an object of
my living among you to
obtain your property, this is
vindication of himself, and
his character, from all charge
or suspicion
*Paul did not covet worldly
wealth, he did not covet
silver or gold or clothing:
v Money
v Clothes
v Property
His mind and thought were
not focused upon wordly
things, Money, Property,
Clothing, and the latest in
transportation he had no
appeal in them, he desires
for something more
important
*The kingdom of
GOD and his
righteousness
*Meeting the
desperate needs of
the world
*Delivering men out
of the slavery of sin
*Sharing the gospel
of life everlasting
The ministers and teacher of
the gospel must be totally
committed to sharing the
gospel, and totally
committed to be involves not
only verbal preaching and
teaching, but the spread of
the gospel through financial
support of others

WORK
He was a craftsman, a
tentmaker Paul labored to at
secular work:

necessities

ministers serving
with him

saying of JESUS that
is more blessed to
give than to receive,
(Not recorded in

2 CORINTHIANS 12:10
11) Even unto this present
hour we both hunger, and
thirst, and are naked, and are
buffeted, and hove no
certain dwelling place;
12)And labor, working with
our own hands; being reviled,
we bless; being persecuted,
we suffer it
THE BELIEVER TO SERVE NO
MATTER THE COST
We both hunger, and thirst,
and are naked; wanted the
common necessaries of life,
food to eat, and clothing to
put on, and gold and silver to
purchase any thing
AND HAVE NO CERTAIN
DWELLING PLACE
Were in an unsettled state,
always moving from place to
place and have no place to
call their own, like the LORD
JESUS who had not where to
his head
AND LABOR WITH OUR
HANDS
Wo do not only labor in
words and doctrine, but we
labor with our hands, that we
might not be burdensome to
believers and the church, our
hands provides for our
necessities
1 CORINTHIANS 9:14-15
14)Even so hath the LORD
ordained that they which
preach the gospel should live
of the gospel
15)But I have used none of
these things; neither have I
written these things, that it
should be so done unto me;
for it were better for me to
die, than that any man
should make my glory void
charge, that I abuse not my
power in gospel
I HAVE USED NONE OF
THOSE THINGS
Though is my right to
maintenance as an apostle,
but I have used none of those
thing- I have not urged and
enforced this right, I have
chosen to support
myself by the Labor of my
own hands.
NEITHER HAVE I WRITTEN
THESE THINGS
I have not presented this
argument now in order to
induce you to provide for me,
I do not intend to ask or
receive a support from you
people.
FOR IT IS BETTER FOR ME TO
DIE: For it were better for
me to die; through want,
with famine, could he be
supplied no other way, than
to take the least from them
or than that any man should
make my glory void, which is
his inward pleasure, joy and
satisfaction in freely
preaching the gospel, being
more blessed than to receive.
2 CORINTHIANS 11:9
9)And when I was present
with you, and wanted, I was
chargeable to no man; for
that which was lacking to me
the brethren which came
from Macedonia supplied;
and in all things I have kept
myself from being
burdensome unto you and so
will I keep myself
I WAS CHARGEABLE TO NO
MAN- Whilst he was among
them, preaching the Gospel
to them, he wanted the
common necessities of life
but did not worry any one for
my provision.
I was chargeable to no man-I
was burdensome for
necessities, which I provided
by myself through laboring as
tent maker.
And when I was present with
you, and wanted, I was
chargeable to no man; for
that which was lacking to me
the brethren which came
2 CORINTHIANS 11:23-26
23)Are they ministers of
CHRIST? I speak as a fool I am
more; in labor more
abundant, in stripes above
measure, in prisons more
frequent, in deaths oft
24) Of the Jews five times
received I forty stripes save
one
25)Thrice was I stoned,
thrice I suffered shipwreck, a
night and a day I have been
in the deep
26)In journeying’s often, in
perils of waters, in perils of
robbers, in perils by mine
own countrymen, in perils
heathen, in perils by the city,
in perils in the wilderness, in
perils of the sea, in perils
among false brethren
27) In weariness and
painfulness, in watching
often, in hunger and thirst, in
fasting often, in cold and
nakedness
THE BELIEVER MOST GO BE
YOUNG MINISTERING BUT
LABORING:
In labor more abundant; in
taking fatiguing journeys,
preaching the Gospel
constantly, working with his
own hand, in stripes above
measure; imprisons more
frequently, travelled more, I
have labored more for the
preaching of it, I have been
often whipped, oftener
imprisoned.
Once was I stoned, thrice I
suffer shipwreck.

shall not drink wine of them

no more; but rather let him
labor, working with his hands
the thing which is good, that
he may have to give to him
that needeth
LET HIM THAT STOLE STEAL

strip away the garment of
stealing, is to cheat, to take
wrongfully from another

and the earth have provided
to meet the needs of human
population

and gifts and blessing GOD
gave to be used for the
welfare of a desperate world
filled with so many who are
less privilege.
A person steal by living
extravagantly , beyond what
he needs,
The demand of GOD is that
we share and meet the needs
o four fellow men
throughout the world, who
are ravaged and desperately
in need.
They keep plenty of them to
provide for their lust(sinful
nature:
§ In clothing
§ In food
§ In jewelry
§ In housing
§ In new Cars
§ In plane
§ In possession
§ In Property
The world is reeling under
the weight of the masses:

starving to death

drinking water

and without
medicine
o Who have no roof
over their heads
o Who have no one to
teach thhem
LET HIM LABOR

that we can have enough to
help others, this is the will of
GOD: working to have
enough to give away to those
in need

the need of one;s family and
to help other with what you
have, which is for GOD’S
purpose, to provide for those
in need
