Repentance volves forsaking sin,
this is the essential element in the
true Gospel ,sorrow for sin and
forsaking of it should be preached
among all nations, for all were
sinners, to preach forgiveness as
a core of salvation without the
demand for repentance is false

Pardon or forgiveness of sin,
should be proclaimed that all
people should repent, and those
who are remorseful may be
forgiven
IN MY NAME
By my name Messiah and by his
command coming through JESUS
CHRIST; since the remission of SIN
is by his blood to give both
repentance and forgiveness of sin
to all , it should be proclaimed
that people should repent, and by
that they may be forgiven,
forgiveness is offered by the
authority of JESUS CHRIST to all
nations, and this is what warrant
the offer of the glorious Gospel to
every man

REPENT AND BELIEVE
JESUS preaching is the
proclamation for the arrival of the
kingdom of GOD and that people
should repent and believe the
good news of the Messiah
The appointed period of time is
fulfilled , and the kingdom of
GOD is at hand repent change
your inner self your old ways of
thinking regret past sins, live your
life in a way that proves
repentance; seek GOD’S purpose
for your life
BELIEVE
Trust and believe with a
deep, abiding trust in the good
news regarding salvation
JESUS CHRIST came to proclaim
and bring to completion the
kingdom of GOD, in arrival of
GOD’S kingdom people are called
to repent and turn to GOD
REPENTANCE
Exercise sorrow for sins, and turn
from them, which is a radical
change in one’s life that involves
forsaking sin and turning to and
returning to GOD
THE KINGDOM OF GOD
The establishment of GOD’S rule
in the heart and lives, of the
people, the overcoming of all the
evil forces, the removal from the
world of all the consequence of
SIN, including death and the
creation of a new order of
righteousness and peace
Is not tied to a territory; it is the
arrival of GOD’S reign
dramatically began in JESUS and
extended to his followers

The lost sheep is very applicable
to the great work of man’s
redemption, the lost sheep
represent sinners who departed
from GOD and exposed to certain
destruction and brought back to
him
God and the angel in heaven
have such love compassion and
grief for those who are have fallen
into sin and spiritual death, that
when one sinner repents, that is,
changes his inner self, his old
ways of thinking, regret his past
sins, lives his life in a way that
approves repentance, the Angel
openly rejoice of GOD’S love for
sinners each individual is precious
to GOD

REPENT
REPENTANCE-Implies sorrow for
sin as committed against GOD,
along with a purpose to forsake it,
it is such a view of sin, as evil in
itself, as to lead the mind to hate
it and forsake it,
The mere fact that SIN is evil, and
that GOD hates it, is a sufficient
reason why those who are truly
repentant hate it and forsake it,
false repentance fears the
penalties of SIN; true repentance
fear SIN and hate it.
True repentance is the only thing
in such a state of mind that can
give any relief and true hatred of
it, is the only thing that can give
the mind calm and peace.

19)Repent ye therefore, and
be converted, that your sins
may be blotted out, when
the times of refreshing shall
come from the presence of
the LORD

REPENT
To change the mind for better
morally; to change the attitude
towards SIN , let it, therefore be
your principal and immediate care
to secure an interest in the
benefit obtained by death; and in
order to it, repent of this and all
your other iniquities, that is
turned from sin and Satan to
GOD, in the way of sincere
obedience .
BE CONVERTED
An entire change of heart and
life, change of your conduct; turn
right about face; make a change
in the right direction and begin a
new walk towards GOD
THAT YOUR SIN MAY BE BLOTTED
OUT
That you may be delivered from
the heavy affliction of your guilt ,
and obtain peace with GOD, the
absolute necessity of repentance
is to be sincerely changed upon
the principles of all who desire
that their sins may be botted out
WHEN THE TIMES OF
REFRESHING SHALL COME
Times when GOD shall largely
bestow his refreshing grace, and
that they share in the spiritual
refreshment which nothing but a
sense of CHRIST’S pardoning love
can afford, their repentance and
forgiveness would be the means
of introducing peace and joy

spiritually , true repentance is an
evidence of spiritual life, and it
begins with repentance, for as
soon as ever GOD quickens a
sinner the evil of SIN is exposed
and GOD gives him repentance
for it.
Repentance designs the grace of
wholehearted repentance, which
is attended with faith in CHRIST,
and which was given to the
Gentiles, and with views of
pardon in CHRIST, and springs
from the Love of GOD, that, is
unto life, is a repentance from
dead works, and it also gift from
GOD; is not power of any man.
GOD’S free grace, and a blessing
of the covenant of grace is being
given to the gentiles, show that
the covenant of grace belong to
them also and to the Jews.

AND THE TIMES OF THIS
IGNORANCE GOD WINKED
In times past, before the full
knowledge of GOD , appearing
among the Gentiles, when they
worshiped idols of golds, silver
and stone, taking them as deities
he overlooked them, came
through JESUS CHRIST GOD
overlooked and disregarded the
former ages of ignorance, now
that the full and perfect
revelation has come through
CHRIST appearing
COMMANDED ALL MEN
EVERYWHERE TO REPENT
GOD commanded everyone
there is no exception GOD gave
orders that the doctrine of
repentance, as well as remission
of SINS, should be preached to all
nations to Gentile and Jews
everywhere the whole world, to
repent Of their ignorance, to turn
from their idolatry, and
wickedness, which universal
demand of repentance, called the
“ COMMAND OF REPENTANCE”
to change their old way of
thinking, to regret their past sins
and seek GOD’S purpose for their
lives by believing in JESUS CHRIST
as our LORD and savior
There are no exception, for GOD
will not overlook anyone’s sin, all
must turn from sin to GOD or
from condemnation to life to
receive the gift of salvation

20)But showed first unto
them of Damascus, and at
Jerusalem, and throughout
all the coasts of Judea, and
then to the Gentiles, that
they should repent and turn
to GOD, and do works meet
for repentance

THEY SHOULD REPENT
Three stages of spiritual life are
reflected:
REPENTANCE
(1)The repentance for past sins,
which is more than a regret for
penalties, as is committed against
GOD, is a transgression of his
laws, and as it is in itself
exceedingly sinful, and in its
effects dreadful; and of particular
sins man is addicted to,
immoralities, superstition and
idolatry; and both not of the
outward gross actions of life only,
but of inward sins and lust.
(2) THE TURNING TO GOD,
WORK OF CONVERSION,
which is GOD’S work and not
man’s act, but suggest faith in
him,
But here is designed a turning to
GOD, in effect of the grace by and
acknowledgement and
confession of SIN to GOD, by an
application to him for pardoning
grace and mercy, by a trust and
dependence on him for
righteousness , life and salvation,
and by obedience to his command
and doctrine, turning from false
doctrine , idols and worshipping
of the true and living GOD
(3)THE DOING WORKS MEET FOR
REPENTANCE,
Which is sign of their repentance,
reality of their sorrow, and the
earnestness of their desire was to
proven, by showing our works,
which are done according to the
will of GOD, declared in his word,
that spring from the love of GOD

ROMANS 2:4

4)Or despises thou the riches
of his goodness and
forbearance and long
suffering not knowing that
the goodness of GOD leadeth
thee to repentance

FORBEARANCE AND
LONGSUFFERING
You treat with neglect of GOD’S
kindness, God holds back his
judgment giving people time to
turn from their sin, or do you
have no regards for the wealth of
his kindness and tolerance and
patience in withholding his anger
or restraining his indignation or
displeasure against sin
THE GOODNESS OF GOD LEADS
TO REPENTANCE
Are you actually unaware or
ignorant of the fact that GOD’S
kindness leads you to repentance,
which is a free gift, and which
none but the spirit of GOD can
lead or bring person to, which lies
in an external sorrow for sin, and
in an outward termination from
sin, it is to change your inner self,
your old ways of thinking and
seek his purpose for your life.
GOD’S goodness is abused when
it is not used and improved to this
end

forth to be a propitiation
through faith in his blood, to
declare his righteousness for
the remission of sins that are
past, through the
forbearance of GOD

GOD HAS SET FORTH
GOD has publicly exhibit JESUS
CHRIST as a propitiatory
(reconciliatory) sacrifice for sin of
his people, which was offered on
the cross in the face of angel and
people, it was not hidden ; it was 25
made openly, he was put to open
shame; and so put to death to the
eyes of the inhabitants of the
world
TO BE A PROPITIATION
Redemption by JESUS CHRIST
propitiatory sacrifice of
reconciliation or covering for SIN,
this is the act of GOD whereby he
became propitious to the sinner
for sinner , through faith in his
blood alone can pardon and
cancelled the death penalty , and
to declare his righteousness

2 PETER 3:9
|
9) The LORD is not slack
concerning his promise, as
some men count slackness;
but is long-suffering to us
ward, not willing that any
should perish, but that all
should come to repentance
|
LORD IS NOT SLACK
The delay of CHRIST’S return is
related to the preaching of the
Gospel of the kingdom to the
whole world, GOD want everyone
to hear the gospel and does not
desire anyone to perish eternally,
this does not mean that all will be
saved, all those who reject GOD’S
grace and salvation will be lost
eternally.
The LORD does not delay as
though he were unable to act and
is not slow about his promise, as
some count slowness, but is
extraordinary patient towards
you,
NOT WILLING THAT ANY SHOULD
PERISH
He does not desire it or wish it,
by his nature, which
compassionate, merciful, and
sincerely desire eternal happiness
of all, and his patience towards
sinners proves that he is willing
that they should be saved.
not wishing for any to perish, any
human being, any soul that he
made, that he is not willing for
them to be lost eternally, 26
BUT THAT ALL SHOULD COME TO
REPENTANCE
but for all to come to repentance,
which is a grant as free gift of
GOD’S grace and the spirit send
down into hearts regenerate it
to work-in them, by taken away
the stony heart and giving them a
heart of flesh(regenerated by the
Holy Spirit.
