PROMISE OF MY FATHER
UPON YOU
The source of the Spirit and
power was GOD, CHRIST is
to send the promise, the
Promise was from the
FATHER, GOD gave the
promise, was to com from
on high ,the promise of My
FATHER that they should be
aided by the power of Holy
Ghost/Spirit, which is also
referred to the promises of
GOD, that is going to be
made in the days of the
Messiah:

v EZEKIEL 36:26-27
v ISAIAH 44:3
v JEREMIAH 31:31-34
And because CHRIST
promise to pray the FATHER
to send the another
comforter, the Holy Spirit
after He had departed to
heaven, who will fit and
qualify them for, and assist
them in bearing a testimony
for Him, take of the things
of CHRIST, and show them
to them and bring to their
remembrance all things
they had seen and heard,
the promise of the FATHER
is to be sent in a very short
time, in ten days time after 
CHRIST ascension, which
will be sent upon them

that will bring power from
on high ,which is the
outpouring of the Holy
Ghost/Spirit, in His
enlightening, renewing and
comforting influence that
began at Pentecost,
BUT TARRY YE IN THE CITY
OF JERUSALEM UNTIL YE BE
ENDUED WITH POWER
For the space of ten days,
here they should tarry and
wait in Jerusalem, and not
to depart, until they be
endured with the power
from on high; the Spirit of
GOD is the Spirit of might
and of power, as well of
knowledge, of
understanding, of counsel,
love and of sound mind ,
whereby they were to be
fortified, and inspired,
which would be given them
by the lineage of the Holy
Spirit, of preaching the
Gospel, with the attended
aid and blessing of the Holy
Spirit encouragement to this
calling of bearing witness by
assurance of the sending of
the Holy Ghost, this was the
Spirit baptism that was
promised to all believers,
the full enduement of
power from on high to do
the work of CHRIST, and
they were not to leave
Jerusalem until after they
had received it, and not
before their reception of it
to enter upon their calling.
Before JESUS sent out the
twelve disciples He gave
   
them power against unclean
Spirit, to cast them out and
heal all manner of disease
commanding them saying
go not into the ways of the
gentiles, and into any city of
the Samaritans enter not
CHRIST and to preach the
kingdom of heaven ,

cannot be adopted as His
Children without His spirit
ROMANS 8:14-17, the spirit
is the power of our new life
it begins a long process of
change making us more like
CHRIST GALATIANS 3:3,
when we receive CHRIST by
faith, we begins an
immediate personal
relationship with GOD, the
Holy Spirit works in us and
helps us to be like CHRIST
The believer must wait to
receive the Holy Spirit,
waiting, focusing one’s
attention onto GOD, which
is believing, trusting, and
focusing one’s life upon
GOD gaining more and
more knowledge of the Holy
Spirit; how He works within
the believers’ heart and life,
learning how to surrender
more and more of his life to
the Spirit’s control and
witness, believers are not
automatically filled, too
many person give their life
to Church, rules, regulation,
programs and rite than to
CHRIST, as they walk around
   
in flesh and sinful nature,
totally unconscious of the
Spirit’s presence and will ,
believer will be baptized
with the Holy, the baptism
is not water baptism John
used, it is the baptism
brought by CHRIST when a
believer is converted or
saved

kingdom and restore it to
Israel? They were thinking
in terms of earthly, physical
Messiah , physical or
material rule for themselves
and their nation Israel, the
apostles had entertained
the common opinion of the
Jews about the temporal
dominion of the Messiah,
that CHRIST is going to set
up His kingdom on earth,
they expected that He
would reign CHRIST
promise the Disciples that
they would sit upon thrones
Judging the people of Israel
MATTHEW 19:27-30 and
the LORDs prayer assures
the kingdom of GOD come
on earth MATTHEW 6:10 ,
that he may rule as a prince
and conqueror, and would
free them the bondage of 
the Romans, Judea was
formerly governed by its
own king and laws: now ,it is
subject to the Romans, this
bondage was grievous, and
the nation sighed for
deliverance, they enquired
of the Disciples evidently,
wilt thou now break the
Romans yoke from our
necks, and restore them to
their former state of
freedom and prosperity as
in the time of David
ISAIAH 1:26 and the
prediction according in
DANIEL 7:27 immediately
erected the kingdom of the
Messiah? Their mind was
still full of a temporal
kingdom to be erected by
JESUS CHRIST, in which the
Jews should have dominion
over all nations; the
kingdom shall be Magnified
and his fame shall fill the
Gentiles ,and they seem to
have expected,
notwithstanding all the
efforts, which the LORD
JESUS made to explain to
them the true nature of His
Kingdom
IT IS NOT FOR YOU TO
KNOW THE TIMES OR THE
SEASON
The Disciples ask when
should be the time, the day,
and the hour of the coming
of the SON of man, when he
shall set up the kingdom in a
more glorious manner; and
the kingdom of this world
shall become His, JESUS
said, It is not for you to
know the times or the
season, which the FATHER
   
hath put in his power; and
not in the power of a
creature, no, not even
angels
MATTHEW 24:36 wherefore
it is vain and sinful, as well
as fruitless, to indulge in
curious inquiry in to these
things; or into the times and
season of what is future; as
of the time of man death, of
the end of the world, or of
the second coming of JESUS
CHRIST, only those things
should be looked into which
GOD has revealed, and put
in the power of men to
know diligent search and
inquiry
The believer’s concern is to
be service and Ministry,
proclaiming the glorious
Gospel of Salvation and
meeting the cry of the world
buried in desperate needs,
CHRIST rebuked those who
wish to enquire into the
timing of the LORD’S return
and the setting up of His
kingdom upon earth,
believers are not to be
focus upon prophecy and
the setting of dates, they
are not to be craving for
release from the world and
for the heavenly position of
authority, the believer are
to focus upon witnessing,
upon sharing the glorious
gospel of Salvation with the
world and living for CHRIST

GOD’S very Spirit was to
dwell within the heart and
life of the believer, the
believer is given a task by
GOD a mission to carry out
on earth, the believer has
no power of his own to
carry out the task, the
power of GOD Himself ,of
His Spirit, is needed, on the
strength of, that CHRIST
promises that ,” You will
receive power when the
Holy Spirit comes upon you,
from heaven, the Spirit of
GOD and His power are
promised, the Holy Spirit
comes upon believers as an
equipping power, equip
them to carry task for GOD
The primary purpose of the
baptism in the Holy Ghost is
receiving of power to
witness for CHRIST of His
doctrine, life, death,
resurrection, and ascension,
which will be testified to
all the world, by their
preaching and holy living,
and working of miracles, the
baptism in the Holy Ghost
not only impacts power to
preach JESUS as LORD and
Savior, but also increases
the effectiveness of
strengthen and deepening
relationship with the
FATHER, SON and Holy
Ghost that comes from
being filled with the Holy
Ghost, so that the lost will
be won over to Him and
taught to obey all CHRIST
commanded which is to
know Him, love, praise Him
and made LORD of GOD’S
chosen people , the holy 
Spirit make more real to us
the growing desire on our
part to honor , love and
please our savior, the Holy
spirit witness to
righteousness and truth ,
which glorifies CHRIST , the
baptism in the Holy Spirit is
the initial point whereby
Spirit-filled believers
receives the enabling of the
Spirit to witness for CHRIST,
baptism in the Holy Ghost is
a baptism into the Spirit
who is Holy, is the Spirit of
holiness, ROMANS 1:4, thus
is given only to those whose
hearts are turned towards
GOD in repentance from
their wicked ways, and
manifest their sincere
commitment to CHRIST
The believer is to witness
where he is first, see to it
that CHRIST is well known
through his home and
community, before moving
on, once CHRIST is well
known, the believer is to
move out, ever pressing
outward from where he is
to the end of the world, the
believer is to see that each
area receives the message
of CHRIST

Pentecost was fully come,
they were all with one
accord in one place

PENTECOST FULLY COME
Pentecost the feast harvest
was the second of the three
great festival of the Jewish
year, the Passover being the
first, and the Pentecost the
second, is a Greek name ,
derived from
PENTECOSTOS=fiftieth part
of a thing, or the 50th in 
order, which is festival of
first harvest, called feast of
Pentecost, which 50 days
after the first day of the
feast of Passover, a festival
is the glorious day of
celebration, a day when
people were to heap praise
worship of thanksgiving for
the harvested crops,
because it was kept on the
fiftieth day after Passover,
and the third, the feast of
Tabernacles,
WAS FULLY COME
The disciples had been
deliberately prepared for
the coming of the Holy Spirit
though out the scripture the
revelation of the Holy spirit
had been step by step, that
is progressive prophecy
shows this clearly
JOEL- prophesied and
afterward, I will pour out
My Spirit on all flesh
JOEL 2:28-29
John the Baptist said, I
baptized with water, but He
shall Baptize with the Holy
Spirit and fire
MATTHEW 3:11,

The word here used, when
the day had arrived, here
means literally to be
completed, the time of
Pentecost had come, or
fully arrived, to account for
what it is related to, that
there were so many
strangers and foreigners
present, which attracted
the largest number of
pilgrims, the promise
influence of the out pouring
of the Holy Spirit were 
withheld until the greatest
possible number of Jews
should be present at
Jerusalem at the same time,
and thus opportunity be
afforded of preaching the
Gospel to vast multitudes in
the very place and also an
opportunity be afforded of
sending the Gospel by them
into distant parts of the
earth, JESUS was crucified
at the Passover time, and
He ascended 40days after
His Resurrection, the Holy
Spirit came 50 days after
the resurrection, 10 days
after His ascension.
This day was perhaps
chosen for the outpouring
of the Spirit upon the
apostles, that there might
be greater number from
distance land present in
Jerusalem, and so the tiding
of the gift might at once be
spread abroad, which
symbolizes the beginning of
GOD harvest for souls in the
world
AND SURDENLY THERE
CAME A SOUND FROM
HEAVEN
Appearing to rush down
from the sky/heaven, which
is expressive of the origin of
the gifts and grace of the
Spirit of GOD ,which came
from above, from heaven,
being unmerited; and so
come suddenly, at an
unawares, being unthought
of, undesired, and
unexpected, and so
certainly undeserved, it was
suited therefore, to attract
their attention no less from 
the direction from which it
came, on account of its
suddenness and violence,
and it filled the house
where they were sitting;
which was the upper room
or chamber.
At Pentecost there were
three observable
manifestations that the Holy
Spirit was descending upon
the 120 disciples in
fulfilment:
1)Audible manifestation,
there was a sound as a
rushing mighty wind, as to a
violent blast rushing down ,
such a wind something
borne along so violently,
and with such a noise, such
sound of this remarkable
phenomenon
2) Visual manifestation,
there appear visibly Cloven
tongues like fire that rested
on each of the disciples
3)The speech manifestation
the 120 were being filled
with the Holy Ghost, they
began to speak with other
tongues as the Spirit gave
them utterance, the other
tongue here, are other
native language understood
by different nations
represented in the crowd ,
this foreign languages
spoken supernaturally by
the Galilean disciples were a
corporate sign the witness
of the universal spread
unto the uttermost part of
the earth, the three
observable manifestation at
Pentecost corresponds
exactly to the threefold
promise of CHRIST to His
   
disciples concerning
receiving power, being
witness and all over the
earth
It burst upon them at once,
yet it is not probable that
they expected it in this
manner,, as this was an
important event, it was
proper that the gift of the
Holy spirit should take place
in some striking and
sensible manner, so as to
convince their minds that
the promise was fulfilled,
and so as deeply to impress
others with the greatness
and importance of the event
AND THERE APPEARED
UNTO THEM CLOVEN
TONGUES LIKE FIRE
And there appeared unto
them, there seen by them,
or they saw, the fire was
first seen by them in the
room before it rested in the
form of tongues on the
heads of the disciples,
appeared at first as flashing
or sparkles , until it became
fixed on their head,
CLOVEN- Divided,
separated, to divide, or
distributed into parts, one
from another and divide
among themselves, broken
up, or cloven into many
parts, and there appeared
unto them tongues which
divided themselves like fire,
and sat upon each other
and it sat upon each of
them or rested in a form of
a gentle flame, upon the
head of each one, the
appearance of fire or flame
is most striking emblem of 
Divinity, GOD manifested
himself to Moses in the
bush which was burning, yet
not consumed

in the midst of thunders,
and lightings, smoke and
fire, striking emblems of the
presence and power

An emblem of the various
tongues and languages, in
which the were to preach
the Gospel, through this
baptism of the Holy Spirit
and fire, the disciple
became more knowing, and
had a greater understanding
of the mysteries of the
gospel, and were qualified
to preach it to people of all
nation and languages, the
Holy Spirit, in his gifts and
grace, is compared to fire,
because of its purity, light
and consuming nature, the
Spirit sanctifies, and makes
men pure and holy, purges
from the dross of sin , error
and enlightens the minds of
men, and give them
knowledge of divine and
Spiritual things and fills
them with zeal and favor for
the glory of GOD and
CHRIST
AND THERE WERE ALL
FILLED WITH THE HOLY
GHOST
That is all the 120 as it
appears at the time of this
wonderful appearance, this
whole company were
abundantly replenished
with both the gifts and
graces of the Holy Spirit, not
only in order of their own
salvation, but also and
especially to qualify them to
be CHRIST’S witness to
mankind, both Jews and
Gentile, thy were filled with
the grace of the Spirit, and
they were under the
sanctifying influence , were
now Holy, and heavenly and
Spiritual, better filled with
the comforts of the Spirit
THEY BEGAN TO SPEAK
WITH OTHER TONGUES
To speak in languages of
their native tongue, which
they had before been
entirely ignorant
AS THE SPIRIT GAVE THEM
UTTERANCE,
They did not utter anything
of themselves, and what
came into their minds , they
were wise and weighty
there delivered, as the word
signifies; even the
wonderful work of GOD, the
great doctrines of the
Gospel’s and through
different language, as the
Holy Spirit gave them power
to speak, they were now
endured with ability of
speaking languages which
they had not before learned
, they were empowered
with supernatural power of
the Holy Spirit with ability to
speak foreign languages,
and languages to them
before unknown,

5)And there were dwelling
at Jerusalem Jews, devout
men, out of every nation
under heaven 
6)Now when this was
noised abroad, the
multitude came together,
and were confounded
because that every man
heard them speak in his
language
7)And they were all amazed
and marveled, saying one to
another, behold, are not all
these which speak
Galileans?
8) And how hear we every
man in our own tongue,
wherein we were born?
9)Parthians, and Medes,
and Elamites, and the
dwellers in Mesopotamia,
and I Judea and Cappadocia,
in Pontus and Asia
10)Phrygia, and Pamphylia,
in Egypt, and in the parts of
Libya, about Cyrene, and
proselytes
11)Crete and Arabians, we
do hear them speak in our
tongues the wonderful
works of GOD
12)And they were all
amazed, and were in doubt,
saying one to another, what
meaneth this?
13)Others mocking said,
these men are full of new
wine
AND THEY WERE DWELLING
AT JERUSALEM JEWS
DEVOUT MEN the word
rendered “dwelling”
properly means to have 
fixed and permanent
habitation , which is always
confined to this
signification; devout Jewish
pilgrims who had come
from all over the world,
gathered from all parts, by
the peculiar providence of
GOD (Devout)had come to
Jerusalem to celebrate the
feast of the harvest
OUT OF EVERY NATION
UNDER HEAVEN
Many how came up to the
feast of the Passover Jews
were dispersed: being the
descendants of those that
were carried captives at
different times, and into
different places; as
Salmanazar,
Nebuchadnezzar, Ptolomy,
Antiochus, and others ,
would remain to the feast of
the Pentecost a large
portion of them are from
abroad
The crowd heard an
amazing thing the disciples
supernaturally speaking in
their own tongue(dialect)
language , the number of
dialect and language spoken
included most of those from
known area of the world at
that time, the purpose in
giving the list seems to
stress that people from all
over the world were present
for CHRIST to save and to
send them back to their
native lands as servants to
proclaim the message of the
glorious gospel, what the
crowd heard in their native,
language they heard and
understand that it is their 
own languages, it was the
wonderful work of GOD, the
personal witness of the
gospel, the very thing Peter
was about to preach to the
whole crowd
There were different
reactions, all were amazed
and astonished marveled at
what happened, some were
perplexed attracted and
wondering while others
were mocking, made fun of
accuse the disciple of being
drunk
ACTS 2:14-16
14)But Peter, standing up
with the eleven, filled up his
voice, and said unto them,
ye men of Judea, and all ye
that dwell at Jerusalem, be
this known unto you and
hearken to my words
15)For these are not
drunken, as ye supposed ,
seeing it is but the third
hour of the day
16) But this is that which
was spoken by the prophet
Joel
17) And it shall come to
pass in the last days, saith
the GOD, I will pour out My
spirit upon all flesh; and
your sons and your
daughters shall prophesy,
and your young men shall
see vision and your old men
shall dream, dreams
18) And on My servant and
on My handmaiden, I will
pour out in those days of
My spirit; and they shall
prophesy
BUT PETER STANDING UP
WITH THE ELEVEN FILLED
We are struck at once with
the marvelous change that
has come over the character
of the disciples , timidity has
become boldness, but
Peter, standing up taking a
leading place among the
disciples as spokesman as
the Spirit gave him
utterance with the eleven,
( MATTHIAS) being chosen
to replace JUDAS ,was now
one of the apostle, now
appearing as one of the
witness for truth, Peter
pointing to the whole
multitude, his sermon is
recorded, to be an evidence
for him, that he was
thoroughly recovered from
his fall, and thoroughly
restored to the Divine favor
, he that was timid,
cowardly manner, who
denied CHRIST, now he was
bold, forward, ardent and
courageous and he rose to
defend the Apostles of
JESUS and CHRIST Himself
he felt that now was the 
time for preaching the
Gospel to the crowd that
had been assembled.
Peter standing up was
filled with the Holy Ghost,
and speak in tongue as the
Spirit give him utterance
that they are not under the
influence of a man-made
induced excitement, he
manifested the utmost
carefulness , the Holy Spirit
made Peter a Changed
person, he spoke with
authority and forcefulness,
as their advocate; he lift up
his voice as one that is well
assured, the account of the
miraculous pouring of the
Holy Ghost , was not acting,
speaking foolish things like a
drunken man, Seeing it is
just but 9 o’clock in the
morning,; for till this time it
was not usual with the Jews,
to taste anything until after
the usual prayer in the
morning, it indicates, that
what follows was just as
much an “utterance” of the
Holy spirit, which was the
work of GOD almighty, just
what GOD has promised to
man it was the glorious
gospel( good news)
promised by GOD, designed
to awaken the hearers to
embrace CHRIST, it was the
fulfilling of the scripture
that was spoken by the
prophet Joel and it shall
come to pass afterward,
that I will pour out My Spirit
upon all flesh, and your son
and your daughters , shall
prophesy and your old men
dream dreams,
   
In THE LAST DAY
These words in the old
Testament ISAIAH 2-2 AND
MICAH 4:1 signifies the
coming of the Messiah, all
the day of the New
testament are the last day ,
men are described of every
sex, age and rank ,
Peter declared before the
multitude of thousands,
that today is the great
prophesy of JOEL 2:28-32
the last days, the day of
GOD’S last work on earth,
the beginning of the last day
of earth history, the final
age of GOD’S plan of human
history, to day is the last
days, the dispensation of
GOD’S grace, the age of the
Gospel, the last day began,
when with CHRIST come to
earth and they will end
when CHRIST returns to
earth, the last day includes
great outpouring of GOD’S
spirit, GOD gives His spirit, it
dwells with believers , to
abide with believers and
dwells with believer forever
JOHN 14:16-17, the
manifestation of CHRIST to
believer JOHN 14:21 and
the abode with believers
JOHN 14:23
GOD pours out His Spirit on
all people, upon sons and
daughters, upon young men
and old men, upon His
servants and handmaidens,
the Spirit of GOD is available
to all, GOD pours out HIS
Spirit with very special gift
the last and terrible day of
the LORD is the day of
judgment, the last day 21
includes the day of salvation
throughout the last days,
during the whole period,
man can be saved by calling
to sense the need to be
saved, he must call upon the
name of the LORD, to know
and believe that JESUS is the
LORD and to be ready to
submit to His Lordship, to
serve Him as LORD.
ACTS 2:37-39
37) Now when they heard
this, they were pricked in
their heart, and said unto
Peter and to the rest of the
apostles, Men and brethren,
what shall wo do?
38)Then Peter said unto
them Repent, and be
baptized every one of you in
the name of JESUS CHRIST
for the remission of sins,
and ye shall receive the gift
of the Holy Ghost
39)For the promise is unto
you, and to your children,
and to all that are afar off,
even as many as the LORD

NOW WHEN THEY HEARD
THIS, THEY WERE PRICKED
IN THEIR HEART
Peter’s address begins with
pointing out the fulfilment
of the prophesy in the gift
of the Holy Spirit, the
Resurrection and Ascension,
that JESUS was the Messiah
that was put to death by His
own countrymen, the
people were with deep and
lively sorrow and felt such a
sense of their enormous
emotional guilt, in the
injuries conviction and they
cried, what shall we do?
Peter’s sermon, the
proclaimed word, was
driven home to the hearts
of the people , they were
convict, prickle sense of
pain and hurt sense of
sorrow disappointing GOD it
was of sin
THEN PETER SAID UNTO
THEM REPENT
Having patiently heard
Peter their heart point to
degree of brokenness it
was a sense of sin , which
result to, repentance,
forgiveness are the pure
condition of receiving the
gift of the Holy Spirit,
repentance that is sin must 
be blotted out, is a
command that every man
must do, to change one’s
life, a person cannot change
by the power of his own
will, by discipline or self
control or by his own effort
or works, the very basis, the
very essential to true
salvation, is being truly
forgiven and receiving the
Holy Spirit true faith, the
inward work the
regeneration work with in
the heart, the inward work
of really believing in the
name of JESUS CHRIST, it is
the absolute essential for
being saved
39) FOR THE PROMISE IS
UNTO YOU AND TO YOUR
CHILDREN AND TO ALL
That is, the promise in
respect of the Holy Ghost,
as the promise was to all
flesh, that the promise is
ample, full ,free; that is
suited to all, and applied to
all, that GOD may extend it
to whomsoever He pleases,
full are the offer His mercy
and is not limited in the
provision of His grace, the
only Hope of the lost sinners
is the promises of GOD, and
the only thing that can give
comfort to a soul that is
convicted of sin, is the hope
that GOD will pardon and
save the sinners
ACTS 4:6-16
6)And Annas the high priest
and Caiaphas, and John, and
Alexander, and as many as
were of the kindreds of the
high priest, were gathered
together at Jerusalem 
7)And when they had set
them in the midst, they
asked, by what power or by
what name have ye done
this?
8)Then Peter, filled with
the Holy Ghost, said unto
them, ye rulers of the
people, and elders Israel
9) If we this day be
examined of the good deed
done to the impotent man,
by what means he is made
whole
10)Be it known unto you
all, and to all the people of
Israel, that by the Name of
JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth,
whom ye crucified, whom
GOD raised from the dead,
even by Him doth this man
stand here before you
whole
11)This is the stone which
was set at nought of you
builders which is become
the head of the corner
12)Neither is there
salvation in any other; for
there is none other name
under heaven given among
men, whereby we must be
saved
13)Now when they saw the
boldness of Peter and John,
and perceived that they
were unlearned and
ignorant men, they
marveled; and they took
knowledge of them, that
they had been with JESUS
14) And beholding the man
which was healed standing
with them, they could say
nothing against it
15) But when they had
commanded them to go 
aside out of the council,
they conferred among
themselves
16)Saying, what shall we do
to these men? For that
indeed a notable miracle
hath been done by them is
manifest to all them that
dwell in Jerusalem; and we
cannot deny it
AND ANNAS THE HIGH
PRIST AND CAIAPHAS AND
ALEXANDER AS MANY
Annas was at the time the
high priest, , He was father
in-law to Caiaphas, the high 
priest, John and Alexander it
is clear that they were
members of the great
council, and mention of
their name, shows that they
are men of authority and
influence , were gathered
together at Jerusalem;
where the great council only
sat, were assembled to
silence the Apostle, Annas
and Caiaphas had been
concerned in the
condemnation of JESUS, and
they have special interest in
arresting the progress of the
Gospel among the people,
the Sanhedrin court
convened the next morning
to put Peter and John on,
the term, ruler, elders and
teachers of the law mean
the Sanhedrin, it the ruling
body, both the governing
council and the supreme
court of the Jews
THEY ASKED BY WHAT
POWER OR NAME YOU
HAVE DONE THIS
In the midst, in the
presence of the council by
what power , by what
name, did you healed the
impotent man?, but there is
more to their questioning
than this, they knew Peter
was preaching the
resurrection through JESUS
CHRIST, they intend to stop
it or risk losing the loyalty of
the people and their
position of livelihood, so
they were seeking
opportunity to accuse and
stop Peter and John , they
expected to intimidate the
apostles by this question 
The believer who is ready
to proclaim will never be
lest alone, the Holy Spirit
will be present to speak
through him
THE PETER FILLED WITH
THE HOLY GHOST
GOD equip Peter and John
with the Holy Spirit, Peter
received a fresh filling with
the Holy Spirit that brought
a sudden inspiration,
wisdom and boldness ,
GOD’S Spirit was ready to
take over and give Peter the
word to say, by which to
proclaim the truth of GOD ,
that the miracles had been
wrought by the Name, or
power, of JESUS of
Nazareth, the Messiah,
whom they had crucified;
who GOD promise to send
to the world it was JESUS
CHRIST whom GOD raised
from the dead that made
the man well, and this
confirm their testimony to
His resurrection from the
dead, which prove Him to
be the Messiah,
NEITHER IS THERE
SALVATION IN ANY OTHER;
For there is none other
name under heaven given
among men whereby we
must be saved, Meaning
Spiritual and eternal
salvation, there is no
redemption in any other
name, that can redeemed
people from the law, sin and
Satan; nor is salvation to
sought and hoped for from
any other , given among
men only in ,JESUS CHRIST
alone
WHEN THEY SAW THE
BOLDNESS OF PETER AND
JOHN, When they saw the
boldness of Peter and John,
which they stood before
them, they observed their
eloquence, articulation and
firmness of mind; not being
afraid to profess the name
of CHRIST, to assert Him as
the true Messiah, though
rejected by the Jewish
builder: and was raising
from the dead; not only
ascribed to Him the miracles
but salvation of men and
declared that there is
none that men can be
saved, it was by the name of
JESUS of Nazareth
And they perceived that
they were unlearned
ignorant men; understood
before; they were
unlearned men, or who do
not understand letters; they
have not been brought up
at the feet of any of the
scribe, or doctors, in the
interpretation of the law of
Moses, and the traditions
and they took knowledge of
them, that they had been
with JESUS
