7)The world cannot hate
you; but me it hateth,
because I testify of it, that
the work thereof are evil
THE WORLD CANNOT HATE
YOU BUT ME IT HATE
The world cannot hate you
because they are of the
world, belonging to it; they
are like unto it, they were
the worlds own , they have
its interests at heart, the
world men are not
regenerated, renewed and
sanctified, they expect a
worldly Messiah, it hate me
because I condemn its
injustice, pride,, ambition,
way of life and its doctrines,
JESUS was hated by the
world because he
proclaimed that all people
who separated from GOD,
do is evil, as they possess
the same spirit and
principles with the men of
the world, the worlds men
cannot hate their own.
BECAUSE I TESTIFY OF IT
That the works thereof are
evil, being done not
according to the
commandment of GOD, but
the tradition of the elders;
or not from the right
principle, as of faith and
love, but only to be seen by
men,
JESUS was preaching the
doctrine of the Gospel, and
freely condemning them for
the evil of their works, the
corruption of their doctrine
of men, covetousness,
hypocrisy and uncleanness ,
and errors of their life and
conversation of the scribes
and Pharisees; this drew
upon him their hatred and
ill will.
JESUS CHRIST pointed out
the sin of the world, he
pointed out the false
religion of the world, which
is based on hypocrisy ,He
pointed out the corruption
of the world and the
camouflage of the truth of
the world, because of this,
because he is proclaiming
the truth, the world hated
him and would not
acknowledge and accept
him .
Therefore, the world
receives those who look at
CHRIST and mock, ridicules,
criticize, reject and treat
them, His brothers were
part of the world, and the
world does not hate its own,
the world does not reject
and hate, but receives those
who love it, who serve it,
who participate in it, who
approves of his behavior
and who goes along with it.
The world hates, its criticize
,it rebels against the
judgment passed upon it, it
is satisfied with itself and
its own idea of
righteousness, it is satisfied
with its own standard of
wickedness, the world
cannot be saved unless the
evil of the world is
acknowledged and
corrected, it is the task of
the believers to proclaim
the truth as JESUS
proclaimed it.

20)For every one that doeth
evil hateth the light, neither
cometh to the light, lest his
deeds should be reproved
21)But he that doeth truth
cometh to the light, that his
deeds may be made
manifest that they are
wrought in GOD
FOR EVERY ONE THAT DO
EVIL HATE THE LIGHT
Every wicked person the
unbeliever hate JESUS
CHRIST and the Gospel
because they make
manifest his evil deeds,
convicts him of them, and
rebuke him, the
unbelievers the wicked man
choose to practice their
deeds of wickedness, they
are afraid of the light,
because they could be easily
detected, they hate the
Gospel, for it condemns
their conducts, makes
manifest and reproves
them, it convicts them of
sin, men hates the Gospel,
no man who is a sinner
loves it, no man by nature is
disposed to come to it.
Many people don’t want
their lives exposed to GOD’S
light because they are afraid
of what will be revealed,
they don’t want to be
changed, those who refuse
to believe in JESUS CHRIST,
the unbeliever has not
believed, the great sin of
unbeliever is that it
neglects, ignores, denies,
abuses, and rejects JESUS
CHRIST , it is the great
remedy for man’s sins,
refusing to believe in JESUS
is a great SIN,
JESUS CHRIST now stands in
the world to give light, any
person who does not turn
and walk in the light is
naturally in the dark, he is
condemned to darkness,
and to all those who walk in
darkness, the unbeliever is
condemned because his
deeds are evil: immoral,
unrighteous, and
disobedient to GOD, the
unbeliever loves his sin and
does not want to turn and
face the light JESUS CHRIST,
he will not give up his sins,
he love pleasure, comfort,
recognition, fame,
possession, he loves the
things which bring sins, he
love it too much to give it
up.
The unbeliever is full of
pride, he does not want to
confess his sins, he denies
he is in darkness, refusing to
turn to JESUS the light, the
unbeliever is enslaved, in
bondage to sin and gripped
by the world darkness; he
has been in darkness for
very long time he does not
have the strength to break
the enslavement he is
comfortable, fear keeps him
from coming out and facing
the light JESUS CHRIST.
The wicked/unbeliever is
condemned because he
does not come to the light
JESUS CHRIST, he refuses to
come to the light: therefore,
he is condemned, because
he is uncomfortable in the
light, he shuns everything
that presents the light to
him, he hates the light
The person who comes to
JESUS the light escapes
condemnation, the man
who practice truth and lives
righteously escapes
condemnation, he knows
what is right and he does it ,
it is only CHRIST that can
dispel the darkness in a
man’s life, the man who
comes to CHRIST the light
lives close to GOD, he walks
and talk sand listens to GOD
his word and does what
GOD says

cometh from GOD only?
I AM COME IN MY

I have come and clothed
with authority from my
FATHER ,the authority of
GOD and given proof that I
am sent by him, for the
purpose, to reveal his will to
men for their salvation: I
speak, I do nothing but by
the authority of my FATHER
which sent me; nor do I aim
at my own glory, but the
glory of him who sent me:
yet you give no credit to my
words, nor embrace me, as
him whom GOD hath sent
for the savior of man, you
do not accept me, but you
will accept the false teacher
who are more concerned
in rituals regulations,
programs ,recognition,
fame, pleasure , selfishness ,
mammon of the world.
IF ANOTHER SHALL COME
IN HIS OWN NAME HIM
WILL YOU RECEIVE
The false Messiah comes
with the authority of the
word of himself if another
shall come in his own name,
a false teacher setting up
himself false preacher and
teacher, is the deceiving
person with false
leadership qualities and
charisma who has learned
to promise what men of the
world craves for:
possessions, mammon, he
set himself up that what he
says will meet man’s needs,
JESUS says most men will
accept such false teacher
and preachers
HOW CAN YE BELIEVE
Men seek the approval and
honor of mere men, they
seek the acceptance and
approval, the recognition
and honor of other men,
they live for pride, ambition,
and vainglory, and such
becomes the driving force
of their lives, people seek;
the right position in which
to be seen, the right place
to live and work,, the right
car to drive, the right
clothes to wear, the
recognition and fame to be
known, power and wealth
to possess, the right look to
attract and the right gift to
secure honor
They did not seek the
acceptance and approval,
nor the recognition and
honor of GOD, they
measure themselves against
other men, and seek the
praise of men, a
A man cannot believe the
Gospel while he is wholly
under the influence of
ambition, the two are not
compatible, the religion of
Gospel is humility, and a
man who has not that,
cannot be a believer, great
number are deterred from
being believers by pride and
ambition, when a person is
being praised and honor by
others, he feels acceptable,
complete and fulfilled,
therefore, he often sense no
need for GOD, only when a
man measure themselves
against GOD do they see
themselves for what they
are; short of the glory of
GOD ROMANS 3:23 only
then, did seek the honor
that came from GOD ONLY ,
which is the true praise, and
,then they bow in humility
and beg for forgiveness and
cast themselves upon the
mercy of GOD
Those who have true saving
faith will not be motivated
by the love of praise or
esteem from others people,
they will have as their goal
to please the FATHER, to
love the praise of other
people more than the praise
to GOD is disbelieve of the
Gospel.

19)Did not Moses give you
the law, and yet none of
you keepeth the law? Why

DID NOT MOSES GIVE YOU
THE LAW AND YET NONE
OF YOU KEEPETH THE LAW
Moses was GOD’S
instrument in delivering his
law to the people, a law
which none of them kept,
but broke daily, the whole
revealed law of GOD
concerning moral conduct
and daily ritual, was daily
violated of the real Spirit of
which it was intended, there
was universal disobedience,
after CHRIST had vindicated
himself and his doctrine, he
proceeds to reprove the
Jews for breaking the law, 10
which contains the will of
GOD
NONE OF YOU KEPT THE
LAW
Though they boasted of it
as a singular privilege, and
rested in it, and their
obedience to it for life and
salvation, yet daily broke it
in various instance, in
thought, word, or deed: and
those that sat in Moses’s
seat, and taught it, did not
observe and do what they
taught: and many of them,
who were most forward to
reprimand others, for the
violation of it, paid the least
regard to keep the law, and
particularly the law of
Sabbath, which both priest
and people transgressed, in
one point or another
WHY DO YE SEEK TO KILL
ME
A harmless and innocent
man, who never injured you
in your persons and
properties: and which is a
proof of their not keeping
the body of the laws Moses
gave them, since, “thou
shalt not kill” is one of
them, since Moses gave
them the law of the Sabbath
they never kept it
With what right, since this
the case, do you vent your
malice against me going
contrary to the Law of
Moses and continue to seek
to kill me, the intention or
desire to kill JESUS is the
inward proof that the
conscience of the Jews
would admit that they were
not keeping the law which
said, thou shalt not kill,
JESUS said you are the
recipients of the law, GOD
has been very gracious to
you in giving the law, but
you did not keep the law,
you go about opposing and
standing against me, not
surrendering to GOD’S SON
you oppose me, even seek
to kill me GOD’S SON

HATED THEM
JESUS CHRIST exposed the
contrast between the Spirit
of the world its hypocrisies,
denounced its idols and the
standard, the world ‘hated
of them; because this word
is not of men, nor agreeably
to carnal reasons; it
magnifies the grace of GOD,
against the carnal interest,
worldly views and lust of
men
And the world hated them;
the inhabitant of the world,
worldly men, under the
influence of the god of this
world, and led by the spirit
of it, because they are not
of this world, the world and
Satan stands against the
love of GOD, GOD’S love is
true love of obedience, the

against JESUS, neither the
world nor Satan are willing
to serve anyone other than
self , GOD’S love, is a
sacrificial love that gives all
it has, the world self
centered, greed, possession
position, fame, ceremonies
CHRIST demand total
allegiance, while the world
serves anyone than self.
the disciples and believers

as JESUS is not of the world,

18)If the world hate you, ye

IF THE WORLD HATE YOU
KNOW THAT IT HATE ME
The world hates true
believers, the wicked men
of the world and its people
ridicules, mocks, bypasses
overlooks, considers
strange, isolate, talk about
true believers, this world
will despise and hate your
mutual love, will scorn your
love due to higher and
unworldly standard which
the kingdom of GOD was set
up, for know that it has
hated me before you
The world refers to the
unbeliever: the
unredeemed, the lost, those
who have never trusted
JESUS CHRIST as LORD and
Savior, the world stands for
any person whose thought
and life is centered upon,
Lust of the flesh, the craving
of sinful man, food, clothes,
money, immorality, the lust 13
of the eye, evil and immoral
thoughts, coveting, seeing
and desiring peoples things,
pride of life, boasting,
honor, fame, high
mindedness, self
centeredness
The world here has wicked
men, in opposition to good
men who are often in the
scripture called the world
because they are of the
earth, earthly, they delight
and values nothing but
worldly things , and pursue
nothing but worldly designs:
Possession, money, houses,
building, wordily pleasure,
carnality, position, fame,
cars, etc., It is only what the
people of the world heart
desire, and that what
comforts them, while the
believer are pilgrim on earth
with heaven as our final
destination that the
believers focus
We know that it hated
JESUS CHRIST who met with
the wicked and unbelieving
world, of the Jews, how
they expressed their hatred,
not only by words, calling
him a gluttonous man and
winebibber, a sinner, a mad
man one that had a devil,
he is Beelzebub him self
consulting by various means
to take way his life, as
Herod did in his infancy;
which was done, before
they showed so much
hatred to his disciples; and
perhaps with reference to

IF YOU WERE OF THE
WORLD THE WORLD WILL
LOVE YOU
While believers are in this
world they will be hated,
persecuted and rejected for
the sake of CHRIST, the
world is the greatest
opponent of CHRIST and his
followers , true believers
must understand that the
world including the false
teachers and preachers of
religious organization and
churches will always oppose
GOD and the principle of his
kingdom and will remain
enemies until the end, the
reason believers suffer in
the hands of the world , is
because they are
fundamentally different;
they are not of the world
and have come out of the
world , the values standard
and direction of the
believers are at conflict with
unbelievers, whose way
corrupt society, the
believers refuse to
compromise with its
ungodly standards, and set
their affection on things
above not things on earth.
The world hates believers
because they are not of the
world: they bare now the
children of GOD, they are no
more influenced by the
principles of the world,
given to pleasure, wealth,
ambition , earthly, sensual
they are a new creation,,
they are called out from the
world,, believer are in the
world but they are not of
the world, they are
separated from the world
from its: Spirit, religion,
hoarding, carnality,
covetousness, pleasure,
conversation, thoughts
passion, lust and religion,
because of their separation,
the world does not love
believers: it rejects and
hates them.
They are separated the
believers from the society
and placed under the
government of my righteous
principles design for eternal
election for the work of
service, the world hates
believer because it does not
really know GOD, believers
are motivated by the love
of GOD and righteousness;
they reject sin, the world is
deceived in its concept and
belief about GOD, the world
conceived GOD to be the
one who fulfills their
earthly desires and lust, the
world idea of GOD is that he
protects , provides and gives
no matter what a person
behavior is, the true
believer teaches against
this, proclaiming that GOD
is both loving and just, GOD
does love us, but he
demands righteousness of
us, the world rebels
against this concept of GOD
The world hates believers
because they are identified
with CHRIST, the servant is
not above persecution: no
servant is above his LORD, if
the LORD suffered
persecution therefore it is
expected that the believers
will suffer persecution
JESUS for their further
consolation under the
hatred of the world; he puts
them in mind to teach them
humility; self-denial, and
brotherly love, and engage
them patiently to bear the
hatred of men, and all
humiliations and insult from
them for his name sake,
that the servant is not
greater than the LORD: that
CHRIST was their LORD and
master, if they have
persecuted JESUS; as they
did, both by words and
deeds, as before observed,
they will persecute you and
so they did in like manner,
and from place to place, if
they have kept my saying,
which is my doctrine and
words, they will keep yours
also,; that is either they will
attend to it they will make
the same malicious remarks
and put the same evil
construction on your word
as on mine.

yet they manifest hatred for

hatred also for him that

JESUS life and works
convict the world of sin,
men have seen exactly who
GOD is, GOD has been
revealed to men; therefore
they stand guilty of the
most terrible sin of all:
rejecting GOD and HIS SON
JESUS CHRIST, if HE JESUS
had not come, they would
not be guilty of this sin, as
the claim of JESUS to be the
revelation of GOD to be
Equal with HIM, so to hate
HIM JESUS is to hate the
FATHER also.
He that hate me, hated my
FATHER also, the hatred the
world bears to the followers
of CHRIST, is
interpretatively, hatred to
CHRIST himself, and hatred
to CHRIST himself, is no
other than hatred to HIS
FATHER, and indeed all the
hatred that is shown by
men of the world to CHRIST,
to his Gospel, and to his

that is naturally in the heart
of every unregenerate man
against GOD, not only
CHRIST but the FATHER also,
is hated by the world, the

WHICH NONE OTHER MAN
DID
If they did not see that HIS
words were Divine they
might at least have seen
that HIS works were , they
are the works of the SON of
GOD, work of creation and
healing, they met the
evidence of works by the
assertion that he was a
sinner, and possessed a
devil, their hatred led them
to ascribe the highest good
to be of power of evil.
The miracles of JESUS
surpassed those of Moses
and other prophets, in their
nature, he healed great
multitudes, and in no small
way doing good with
miraculous power, He did
all this by his own power,
Moses and the prophets by
the invoked power of GOD,
JESUS spake and it was
done, showing that he had
power of himself to do
more than all the ancient
prophet had done, they
were constant, rapid,
continue, in all places,
where he was, he showed
that he had this power, and
in the short space of three
years and six months it is 19
probable that he performed
more miracles than are
recorded of Moses and
Elijah, and all the prophets
put together .
He involved a greater
exertion of power, he
healed all form of disease,
he multiplying the loaves of
bread, the giving sight to
those that were born blind,
the dumb speak, lame walk,
leper is cleans , devil is cast
out he shows that his power
was superior to all kind of
pain, he raised Lazarus after
he had been four days dead,
Elisha raised the
Shunamite’s child; but it
was by prayer, Peter cured
the lame man ACT 3:6 but it
was in the name of JESUS
CHRIST
But now have they both
seen: the works which were
done and the Messiah,
whose mission from the
FATHER they proved and
hated me and my FATHER;
for their rejection of him as
the Messiah,
notwithstanding the
doctrines he taught and the
miracles he performed,
plainly arose from
stubbornness , dislike, and
hardened hatred against

2) saying, the scribes and
the Pharisee sit in Moses’
seat
3)All therefore whatsoever
they bid you observed and
do; but do not ye after their
works; for they say, and do
not
JESUS SPOKE TO THE
CROWD ABOUT FALSE
RELIGION:
False religion is religion of
hypocrisy
False religion is a religion of
heavy burden:
The Pharisees are official
interpreter of the law of
Moses, they transmitted the
oral traditions that were
associated with the law and
thought to be from Moses,
every one needs to know
what is true and what is
false religion, everyone
needs to have the hypocrisy
and their sin exposed, false
religion is the religion that
claim to sit in the truth in
Moses seat, Moses was a
teacher and interpreter of
GOD’S law and words,
teacher should be held
accountable for how they
interpret GOD’S words
JESUS is condemning false
religion and teachers, said ,
observe and do: harken to
what they say, give diligent
heed unto it, take notice of
it and act according to it if is
in line with commandments,
but do not you after their
works: let the
commandment and the
word of GOD be the rule of
your life ,so far as it agrees
with the law of Moses; but
let not their action be
drawn into an example by
you don’t imitate their
practice.
A man may teach the truth
and yet be not acceptable
to GOD, he is unacceptable
because he is a hypocrite
and does not obey GOD, he
simply does not live the
truth, a man is acceptable
because he walks in the
truth day by day, JESUS is
saying that the claims of
religion and men must not 21
be allowed to lead us,
because both religion and
men may be false.
False religion is religion of
heavy burdens upon men:
So the religionist appoint
weighty burden, refer to
them as rules, regulations,
rituals, traditions, such tend
to be more important than
the true word of GOD
Religion and man exercise
undue authority, lording it
over people, insisting
tradition, ritual and other
man-made burden or load
to be kept.
Some teachers fail to lift a
finger to ease the burden
for the weak and heavy
laden, they are so strict that
they little love and mercy of
GOD

5) But all their works they
do for to be seen of men;
they make broad their
phylacteries, and enlarge
the borders of their
garments
6) Love the uppermost
rooms at the feast, and the
chief seats in the
Synagogues
7)And greetings in the
markets and to be called of
men Rabbi, Rabbi
8)But be not ye called
Rabbi; for one is your
Master, even CHRIST; and
all ye are brethren
BUT ALL THEIR WORKS
THEY DO TO BE SEEN BY
MEN:
They have the praise of
men in view in all their
actions, whatever good they
do, or zeal they show, has
but one motive-human
applause, all they prayers,
alms giving, were all done in
a public manner, that men
might behold them, and
they may have glory and
applause from men; they
sought neither, the glory of
GOD,
It is false religion, which is
religion of show and display,
they change their
appearance, through dress,
and clothing to draw
attention to themselves.

THEY LOVE THE
UPPERMOST ROOM
They love the position of
honor, special seat, and
place of recognition, they
love restricted
neighborhood and clubs,
chief seat in the church , the
front seat, but the love of
such, the love and feeling of
pride because of the place
and position, they love title
and honor,
THEY LOVE GREETING IN
THE MARKET
They loved to be
represented as superiors by
respectful salutations in
public place, where
multitude of people were
assembled together, they
are pleased with special
attention in public place,
and, desire that all should
show them particular
respect, and to be called of
men , Rabbi, Rabbi, because
of their great authority, and
scale of their knowledge:
their reputation of the word
Rabbi Master, literally
signifies great, as its title
given to eminent teachers
of the law among the Jews a
title of honor and dignity,
denoting authority to teach,
seeking their own honor
and glory, therefore an
emphasis the love to take
salutation
BE NOT CALLED ANY ONE
RABBI
JESUS forbade his disciples
and followers to seek such
titles of distinction, the
reason he gave was that he
was the Master and 23
teacher, they were on a
level, they were to be equal
in authority; they were
brethren, and they should
neither covet nor receive a
title which implied either an
elevation of one above
another, or which appeared
to infringe on the absolute
right of the Savior to be
their only teacher and
Master, the true Messiah,
the head of the Church,
LORD of all who had power
in heaven and in earth to
make laws, appoint rules,,
and oblige men to receive
his doctrines and obey his
commands. direction is an
express command not to
receive such a title of
distinction, they were not to
covet it; they were not to
seek it; they were not to do
anything that implied
willingness that it should be
appended to their names,
Everything which would
tend to make a distinction
among them or destroy
their equality, everything
which will lead the world to
suppose that there were
ranks and grades among
them as Ministers, they
were to avoid
All are brethren, but as
been a spiritual relation, the
children of GOD, disciples
and followers of CHRIST,
and so have no superiority
one over another
Believers are brothers, one
is not above or more
exalted than another, each
is to serve and help others,
believers are partakers of
the same grace, and
standing in the same
relationship with GOD,
CHRIST, and one another,
and having an equal right to
the same privileges having
no pre-eminence over
other, having the same
commission, doctrine and
authority, one as the other.

CALL NO MAN YOUR
FATHER
JESUS CHRIST said call not
no man your Father, upon
earth, for one is your
FATHER, which is in heaven
to understand these
command , which is a
condemnation of every title
by which Church rulers may
be distinguished from the
followers which they rule, is
virtually to condemn that
rule itself; in this sense it
belongs eminently to GOD
and it is not right to give it
to people, believers are
equal, only GOD has
supreme authority, he only
has the right to give laws to
declare doctrine, do not call
anyone on earth who guides
you spiritually your Father,
he is in heaven,
GOD and CHRIST are only to
be attended, CHRIST said if
there are to take that honor
and depend on them and
take that honor to
themselves; which did not
belong to them, nor even
choose to be called by such
names, as would lead
people to entertain to high
an opinion of them, and
take off of their
dependence on GOD the
FATHER and CHRIST
himself, for one is your
FATHER who is in heaven
NEITHER BE YOU CALLED
MASTER
They prohibit the disciples
and followers of JESUS from
seeking or receiving mere
empty title, producing
distinction among
themselves, implying
authority to control the
opinion and conduct of
other and calming that
others should acknowledge
them to be superior to
them, JESUS is censuring
that sectional spirit which
began in the primitive
Church, when one said, I am
of Paul; another, I of Apollos
and has continue this days
1 CORINTHIANS 1:12
For in that sense GOD alone
is men’s FATHER, CHRIST
alone the master, pastors
and teachers in the church
are to follow the command
and enjoins his laws; and
none must be owned as
Masters and FATHER, to
impose their laws and
doctrines, which corrupts
human nature with these
swelling titles, but also to
exercise exorbitant
authorities.
HE THAT IS GREATEST
AMONG YOU
If any one among you would
in reality be greater than
another, let him be the
more, kind and readily
cheerfully to serve others in
love, such who will be
accounted greatest, and
stand highest in the favor of
GOD, who should be most
humble, submissive, and
serviceable, but not to be
lord over others, but to
serve others in love. Shall be
your servant ,service is the
way to honor; he that would
be most esteemed ought to
do the most work and the
man that has the most
grace, and the greatest gifts,
ought to employ them for
the use and benefit of
others MATTHEW 20:27
Greatness is measured by
service, not by earthly
honor, when religion is
conceived by man or
influenced by man, that
religion focuses upon ritual,
ceremony, rules, and
regulation and upon honor,
recognition, position and
influence
WHOSOEVER SHALL EXALT
HIMSELF
It is what a person does
himself that determines his
fate; he exalts himself
above his fellow believer by
entertaining too high an
opinion of himself, by
boasting of his gifts, as
preferable to others, and as
if he had not receive them,
by assuming, or eagerly
coveting titles of honor
among men, or by affecting
honor that do not belong to
him, or abusing what he has
, Judgment, he shall be
abased or humbled by GOD,
or men or both ; such shall
lose the honor they have,
and come greatly short of
what they are ambitious of;
they shall fall into disgrace
with men, and are
abominable in the sight of
GOD ,
And he that is humble; by
entering low thoughts and a
mean opinion of himself,
behaving modesty among
men; not being exalted by
his gift, but acknowledging
that they are owing to the
grace and goodness of GOD,
and using them in humbled
manner, for the advantage
of others; not coveting
honor from men nor lift up
what is conferred on him
shall be exalted, the rule is
that we are called to serve
not rule
