1 KING 16: 31-33
THE SOURCE OF SIN THE
MARRIAGE OF JEZEBEL
30) And Ahab the son of
Omri did evil in the sight of
the LORD above all that were
before him
31) And it came to pass, as if
it had been a light thing for
him to walk in the sins of
Jeroboam the son of Neat,
that he took to the wife
Jezebel the daughter of Eth
baal king of the Zidonians,
and went and served Baal,
and worshiped him
32) And he reared up an
altar for Baal in the house of
Baal, which he had built in
Samaria
33) And Ahad made a grove
and Ahad did more to
provoke the LORD GOD of
Israel to anger than all the
kings of Israel before him
1 KING 21:1-14
THE SIN THE MURDER OF
NOBOTH BY JEZEBEL
1)And it came to pass after
these things, that Noboth the
jezreelite had a vineyard,
which was in Jezreel, hard by
the palace of Ahab king of
Samaria
2) And Ahab spake unto
Naboth, saying, give me thy
vine yard, that I may have it
for a garden of herbs,
because it is near unto my
house; and I will give thee for
it a better vineyard than it; or
thee the worth of it in money
3) And Naboth said to Ahab,
the LORD forbid it to me, that
I should give the inheritance
of my father unto thee
4) And Ahab come into his
house heavy and displeased
because of the word which
Naboth the Jezreelite had
spoken to him; for he had
said, I will not give thee the
inheritance of my fathers and
he laid him down upon his
1 KING 21:17
THE CONSEQUENCE OF
AHAB MURDER OF NABOTH
ELIJAH DECLEAR AHAB’S
CALAMITY
17) And the word of the
LORD came to Elijah the
Tishbite, saying
18) Arise, go down to meet
Ahab king of Israel, which is
in Samaria; behold, he is in
the vineyard of Naboth,
whither he is gone down to
possess it
19) And thou shalt speak
unto him, saying, thus saith
the LORD, hast thou killed,
and also taken possession?
And thou shalt speak unto
him, saying, thus said LORD,
in the place where dogs
licked the blood of Naboth,
shall dogs lick thy blood,
even things
20) And Ahab, said to Elijah
hast thou found me, o my
enemy? And he answered, I
have found thee; because
thou hast sold thyself to

bed, and turned away his
face, and would eat
no bread
5) But Jezebel his wife came
to him, and said unto him,
why is thy spirit so sad, that
thou eatest no bread?
6) And he said unto her,
because I spake unto Naboth
the Jezreelite said unto him,
give me thy vineyard for
money; or else, if it please
thee, I will give thee another
vineyard for it; and he
answered, I will not give thee
my vineyard
7)And Jezebel his wife said
unto him, dost thou now
govern the kingdom of
Israel? Arise, and eat bread,
and let thy heart be merry; I
will give thee the vineyard of
Naboth the Jezereelite
8) So she wrote letters in
Ahab’s name, and sealed
them with his seal, and sent
the letters unto the elders
and to the nobles that were
in his city, dwelling with
Naboth
9)And she wrote in the
letters, saying, proclaim a
fast, and set Nabot on high
among the people
10) And set two men, sons of
Belial, before him, to bear
witness against him, saying,
thou didst blaspheme GOD
and the king, and then carry
him out and stone him
11)And the men of his
city,even the elders and the
norbles, who were the
inhabitants inhis city, did as
work evil in the sight of the
LORD
21) Behold, I will bring evil
upon thee, and will take
away thy posterity, and will
cut off from Ahab him that
pisseth against the wall, and
him that is shut up and left in
Israel
22) And will make thine
house like the house of
Jeroboam the son of ,Nebat,
like the house of Baasha the
son of Ahijah, for the
provocation wherewith thou
hast provoked me to anger,
and made Israel to sin
23) And of Jezebel also,
spake the LORD, saying, the
dogs shall eat Jezebel by the
wall of Jezrel
24) Him that dieth of Ahab in
the city the dogs shall eat;
and him that dieth in the
field shall the fowls of the air
eat
25) But there was none like
unto Ahab, which did sell
himself to work wickedness
in the sight of the LORD,
whom Jezebel his wife stirred
up
26) And he did very
abominably in following
idols, according to all things
as did the Amorites, whom
the LORD cast out before the
children of Israel
THE DEATH OF JEZEBEL
2 KING 9:30-37
30) And when Jehu was
come to Jezereel , Jezebel
heard of it; and she painted

Jesebel had sent unto them,
and as it was written in the
letters which she had sent
12) They proclaimed a fast,
and set Naboth on high
among the people
13)And there came in two
men, children of Belial, and
sat before him; and the men
Belial witnessed against
Naboth, in the presence of
the people, saying, Noboth
did blaspheme GOD and the
king. Then they carried him
forth out of the city, and
stone him with stones, that
he died.
14) Then they sent to Jezebel
saying, Naboth is stoned, and
is dead
15) And it came to pass ,
when Jezebel heard that
Naboth was stoned, and was
dead that Jezebel said to
Ahab, arise, take possession
of the vine yard of Naboth
the Jezeerelite, which he
refused to give thee for
money; for Naboth is not
alive, but dead
16) And it came to pass,
when Ahab heard that
Naboth was dead, that Ahab
rose up to go down to the
vineyard of Naboth the
Jezreelite, to take possession
of it.
.
her face, and tired her head,
and looked out at a widow
31) And as Jehu entered in at
the gate, she said, had Zimri
peace, who slew his master?
32)And he lifted up his face
to the widow, and said, who
is on my side? Who? And
there looked out to him two
or three eunuchs
33) And he said, Throw her
down, so they threw her
down; and some of her blood
was sprinkled on the wall,
and on the horses; and he
trode her under her foot
34) And when he was come
in he did eat and drink, and
said go, see now this cursed
woman and bury her; for she
is a king’s daughter
35) And they went to bury
her; but they found no more
of her than the skull, and the
feet, and the palms of her
hands
36) wherefore they came
again, and told him, and he
said, this is the word of the
LORD, which he spake by his
servant Elijah the tisbite,
saying in the portion of
Jezreel shall dogs eat the
flesh of Jezebel
37) And the carcase of
Jezebel shall be a dung upon
the face of the field in the
portion of Jezreel; so that
they shall not say, this is
Jezebel
2 KING 5:1-13
THE CURE OF NAAMAN’S
LEPROSY
1)Now Naaman, captain of
the host of Syria, was a great
man with his master, and
honorable, because by him
the LORD had given
deliverance unto Syria; he
was also a mighty man in
Valor, but he was a leper
2) And the Syrians had gone
out by companies, and had
brought away captive out of
the land of Israel a little
maid; and waited on
Naaman’s wife
3)And she said unto her
mistress, would GOD my
LORD were with the prophet
that is in Samaria! For he wil
recover him of his leprosy
4) And one went in, and told
his lord, saying, thus and thus
said the maid that is of the
land of Israel
5) And the king of Syria said
Go to, go and iwill send a
letter unto the king of Israel,
and he departed, and took
with him ten talents of silver,
and six thousand pieces of
gold, and ten changes of
raiment
6)And he brought the letter
to the king of Israel, saying,
now when this letter is come
unto thee, behold, I have
therewith sent Naaman my
servant to thee that thou
mayest recover him of his
leprosy
7) And it came to pass, when
the king of Israel had read
2 KING 5:13-19
GOD INTERVENTION
THROUGH THE JEWISH MAID
13) And his servants came
near, and spake unto him,
and said, my father, if the
prophet had bid thee do
some great thing, wouldest
thou not have done it? How
much rather then, when he
saith to thee, wash and be
clean
14) then went he down, and
dipped himself seven times in
Jordan according to the
saying of the man of GOD:
and his flesh came again like
unto the flesh of a little child,
and he was clean
ELISHA REFUSE NAAMAN’S
GIFT
15) And he returned to the
man of GOD, he and his
company, and came, and
stood before him; and he
said, behold, now I know that
there is no GOD in all the
earth, but in Israel, now
therefore I pray thee, take a
blessing of thy servant
16) But he said, as the LORD
liveth, before whom I stand, I
will receive none, and he
urged him to take it ,but he
refused
17) And Naaman said, shall
there not then, I pray thee,
be given to thy servant two
mules burden of earth? For
thy servant will henceforth
offer neither burnt offering
nor sacrifice unto other gods,
but unto the LORD
2 KING 5: 20-27
SIN ELEMENTS
THE SIN OF GEHAZI AND HIS
PUNISHMENT
20) But Gehazi, the servant
of Elish the man of GOD, said,
behold, my master hath
spared Naaman this Syrian,
in not receiving at his hands
that which he brought; but,
as the LORD liveth, I will run
after him, and take some
what of him
21) So Gehazi followed after
Naaman, and when Naaman
saw him running after him,
he lighted down from the
chariot to meet him, and
said, is all well?
22) And he said, all is well,
my master hath sent me,
saying, behold, even now
there be come to me from
mount Ephraim two young
men of the sons of the
prophets; give them, I pray
thee, a talent of silver, and
two changes of garments
23) And Naaman said, be
content, take two talents,
and he urge him, and bound
two talents of silver in two
bags, with two changes of
garments, and laid them
upon two of his servants and
they bare them before him
24)And when he came to the
tower, he took them from
their hand, and bestowed
them in the house; and he let
the men go, and they
departed
the letter, that he rent his
clothes and said am I GOD, to
kill and to make alive, that
this man doth send unto to
recover a man of his leprosy?
Wherefore consider, I pray
you, and see how he seeketh
a quarrel against me
8) And it was so, when Elish
the man of GOD had heard
that the king of Israel had
rent his clothes, that he sent
to the king, saying,
wherefore hast thou rent thy
clothes? Let him come now
tp me, and he shall know that
there is a prophet in Israel
9) So Naaman came with his
horses and with his chariot,
and stood at the door of the
house of Elisha
10) And Elisha sent a
messenger unto him, saying,
go and wash in Jordan sevsn
times, and thy flesh shall
come again to thee, and thou
shalt be clean
11)But Naaman was wroth
and went away, and said,
behold, I thought, he will
surely come out to me, and
stand, and call on the name
of the LORD his GOD, and
strike his hand over the
place, and recover the leper
12) Are not Abana and
Pharpar, rivers of Damascus,
better than all the water of
Israel? May I not wash in
them, and be clean? So he
truned and went away in a
rage
18) In this thing the LORD
pardon thy servant, that
when my master goeth into
the house of Rimmon to
worship there, and he
leaneth on my hand, and i
bow my self in the house of
Rimmon, the LORD pardon
thy servant in this thing
19) And he said unto him, go
in peace so he departed fro
him a little way
25) But he went in, and
stood before his master, and
Elisha said unto him, whence
comest thou, Gehazi? And he
said, thyservant went no
whither
26) And he said unto him,
went not mine heart with
thee, when the man turned
again from his chariot to
meet thee? Is it a time to
receive money, and to
receive garments, and, and
olive yards and vineyards,
and sheep, and oxen, and
menservants, and maid
servants?
THE CONSEQUENCE OF
UNGODLY COVETOUSNESS
27) The leprosy therefore of
Naaman shall cleave unto
thee, and unto thy seed for
ever, and he went out from
his presence a leper as white
as snow
