REASONING WHY PAUL DID
SECULAR WORK
(A)- To meet his own
necessities (V 34)
33)I have coveted no man’s
silver, or gold, or apparel
34) Yea, ye yourselves know,
that these hands have
ministered unto my
necessities, and to them that
were with me
33) I HAVE COVETED NO
MAN’S SILVER, GOLD OR
APPAREL: He did not depend
on Ministry support but work
with his hands as tent maker
to take care of himself not to
burden any one
(B) To help Others fellow
Minsters serving with him
(c) To help the weak/needy
(v 35)
* Coveting nothing of this
world
* Given all he had to others
*Sacrificing his own life for
others
35) I have showed you all
things, how that so laboring
ye ought to support the weak
,and to remember the words
of the LORD JESUS, how he
said, it is more blessed to
give than to receive
*His mind and thought are
focus on heavenly things not
world things
* Paul did not covet worldly
wealth
*The Minster and teachers of
the gospel must be totally
committed to share the
gospel and financial support
to others who need help

ordained that they which
preach the gospel should live
of the gospel
15) But I have used none of

written these things, that it
should so done unto me; for
it were better for me to die,
than that any man should

glory of; for necessity is laid
upon me; yea, woe in unto
me, if I preach not the
gospel!
17) For if I do this thing
willingly, I have a reward: but
if against my will, a
