BUT AND IF YOU SUFFER
FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS’ SAKE
HAPPY ARE YOU
If you suffer unjustly,
whether it be for the truth
for professing the Gospel, or
in the exercise of
righteousness, being
followers of them ,which is
good ,if any should be so
wicked as to endeavor to
harm you when you are
doing good, if your worldly
rulers, or any others, should
persecute you for
righteousness’ the believer
is to be so zealous for what
is right and noted for good,
what is right and good is
rebelled against, ignored,
rejected and cursed because
it affect their selfish attitude
towards goodness
HAPPY ARE YOU
Both in the spiritual benefit
you gain by sufferings, your
edification in faith, patience,
humility; the glory of GOD,
who support you under and
carries you through them
and rewards you, in so
suffering, in spite of all the
hateful and outrage efforts
of your enemies, your
suffering both in the
spiritual benefit, believers
should regard it as a
blessing condition; that
might be favorable for
salvation, and they were not
to regard it as evil,
AND BE NOT AFRAID OF
THEIR TERROR
Do not weaken your
blessing by fearing mans
terror in your time of
adversity, be not terrified in
their terror, true Christians,
we have really no reason to
be afraid or alarmed in view
of any persecution or things
that happens to us, that is
one thing that delivers men
from the fears that makes
cowards of us all is to have
CHRIST lodged within our
hearts, GOD is our
protector, and he is
abundantly able to
overcome all our troubles
and to uphold us in all our
trails, to conduct us through
it and to bring us out of it
If the believer is persecuted
because he stands up for
CHRIST , he is not to fear,
GOD will meet his needs,
GOD will strengthen him to
bear the persecution, GOD
will him is his suffering as
to make him far stronger
believer, to make him more
secured for CHRIST

are persecuted for
righteousness’ sake for
there is the kingdom of
heaven

BLESSED ARE THEY WHICH
ARE PERSECUTED– Blessed
comforted by inner peace
and GOD’S love , are those
who are persecuted ,
harassed, hunted, for doing
that which is morally right,
the person who lives and
speaks for righteousness
and is reacted against , the
person who lives and speaks
for CHRIST and he is
insulted, persecuted and
spoken against , and the lot
of all who seek to live in
harmony with the word of
GOD for the sake of
righteousness, those who
uphold GOD standards of
truth, justice and purity and
who at the same time
refuse to compromise with
the present evil world
system or lifestyle , the
person who cares and works
for the true love, justice,,
and salvation of the world,
is actually fought against,
will be unpopular, rejection
and criticism, persecution
and opposition, for they is
the kingdom of heaven both
now and forever.
Believers must beware of
the temptation to
compromise GOD’S will in
order to avoid shame,
embarrassment or lose, the
principles of the kingdom of
heaven , which will never
change; all that will live
godly in CHRIST JESUS shall
suffer persecution because
of righteousness, believers
must suffer persecution
because they are not of
these world, they are called
out of the world, they are in
the world, but they are not
of the world, they separate
from the behavior of the
world, they live and
demonstrate a life of
righteousness, they live
pure and godly lives, having
nothing to do with the sinful
pleasure of a corruptible 5
world, such living exposes
the sin of the world
They shall suffer
persecution because the
world did not know GOD
nor CHRIST and deceived in
its concept and belief about
GOD, who only fulfilled their
earthly desire and lust,
mans idea about GOD is
that GOD protects,
provides, and gives no
matter what a person
behavior is , however, the
true believer teaches that
GOD is love, but he is also
just and demand
righteousness , the world
rebelled against this
concept of GOD , the
persecutors are promised
the kingdom of heaven
reward.

the LORD heareth, and

THE RIGHTEOUS CRY AND
THE LORD HEARETH
Because the LORD hears
the righteous cry out for
help: he delivers them from
all their troubles ,when the
righteous cry for help and
the LORD hears, and rescues
them from all their distress
and troubles, the right to
turn to GOD in troublesome
times is one of the
advantage or benefit of
being righteous, is the
privilege crying to GOD, or
calling on his name, with
the assurance that he will
hear and deliver us through
their inward troubles,
through the workings of
Corruption in their hearts
and out ward troubles,
through afflictions of body,
and the reproaches and
persecutions of men; out of
all these the LORD sooner or
later delivers his people
who cry unto him

MANY ARE THE
AFFLICTIONS OF THE
RIGHTEOUS
Because the LORD delivers
the righteous from all
afflictions, each and every
time, they are subjected to
more trails, religion does
not exempt them from
suffering but it sustains
them in it, it does not
deliver them from trial of
this life, but supports them
in their trail, GOD’S
deliverance comes through
restoration or reversal of
circumstances, he lifts our
spirit above our situation

again; but the wicked shall

FOR A JUST MAN FALLETH
SEVEN TIMES
The warning to the wicked
is a promise of hope to the
righteous: the wicked will
never be able to totally
destroy GOD’S people
because he diligently
watches over them, HE is
their protector and avenger,
the wicked may actually
attack a righteous man
repeatedly seven times, but
GOD will see to it that the
righteous man recovers,
however, if a wicked person
slay a righteous one, the
righteous one will still
prevail the righteous live
eternally, the wicked will be
brought down by his action,
their evil GOD divine

righteous.

BEWARE OF MEN:
Beware of men,
comparable of wolves, that
is be on your guide against
the men of this world,
enemy of the Gospel,
religionist, the state, and
men in general, whose
nature is to act in
opposition to GOD, they will
seek all occasions of trouble
against you, if we are living
for CHRIST , is the subject of
being persecuted , ridiculed,
rejected, disliked, hated,
murmured against, abused,
physically attacked, jailed
and martyred.
Men, people just like
himself, will persecute
believers, men can will do
turn into brute beast when
they do not like something,
their wolf nature begins to
manifest itself, they become
two faced, deceptive,
plotting and cunning , they
attempt to hurt or destroy
believer either by
reputation or by force, the
attack will be over a job, a
position and act or belief,
therefore believers the
believer who truly lives and
teaches and takes stand for
GOD and HIS righteousness
is sometime persecuted by
men, they do not
understand GOD nor HIS
righteousness
They can become two -
faced, evil speaking,
gossiping, slandering,
despising, scold, mock and 8
attack face to face, they can
go so far to try to destroy a
person’s reputation and life,
civil authority will persecute
also , who try to implement
anti GOD policies, believers
all over the world always
have been dragged before
state authorities and
persecute, for they will
hand you over to the courts,
and governors and kings for
my sake, as witnesses to
them and to the gentiles,
the believers persecuted so
that he will be a greater
testimony for CHRIST, that is
standing up for CHRIST in
the face of persecution,
standing firm demonstrates
the truth of the gospel, its
message of love and
salvation
DON’T WORRY ABOUT
DEFENSE
but when they hand you
over, do not worry about
how or what you are to say;
a believer is never left alone
defending himself against
persecution, for what you
say will be given within you
that very hour, for it is not
you speaking, but the Spirit
of your FATHER speaking
through you, GOD gives
what is to be said, he gives
the answer in the very hour
it is to be spoken, GOD’S
Spirit does the speaking,
through the believer, GOD
stands with the believer

sufferings, endures and
continue believing in CHRIST
as long as the trial lasts and

one will receive salvation,

evidence that a person is
really committed to JESUS,
persistence is not a means
to earn salvation; it is the
by-product of truly devoted
life.
That he that endureth to
the end of life, be it longer
or shorter, there is an end
to persecution, it is only
temporary, it will end , a
believers can endure, GOD
will bear him up through the
persecution, he that bears
all these unspeakable
suffering, and who does not
give up and be patience,
will give decisive evidence
of attachment to JESUS,
salvation and deliverance
are waiting for the person
who endures: a life of glory
and reward and shall enter
into heaven

The followers of JESUS
CHRIST should rejoice and
leap for joy, because of
faithfulness to CHRIST and
His godly standard, they are
criticized and rejected,
persecuted because of
righteousness, which is
evidence that the believers
are in true fellowship with
the LORD, even as the LORD
was hated and illtreated,
blessed are you when men
shall hate you for the sake
of CHRIST and when they
shall separate you from
their company .
The persecuted are those
who endures suffering for
CHRIST, which is being
hated, reproached,
excluded having one’s name
spoken against, and cast
out your name as evil or as
evil men, believers suffer
persecution because they
do not belong to the world,
they are called out of the
world, they are in the world,
but not of the world, they
are separated from the
behavior of the world, in
that case, they react against
them.

to godliness, and a
revelation of the
righteousness of CHRIST;
will be opposed by the
world behavior, believers
are exhorted to continue in
the faith in exercise of the
grace of faith, that we must
through tribulation enter
into the kingdom of GOD,
those who commit
themselves to CHRIST
LORDSHIP who will finally
enter the kingdom of GOD
must suffer much
tribulation along the way
living in a hostile world,
they must engage in
spiritual warfare against sin
and Satan’s power.
The present evil world and
false believer will remain
antagonists to the Gospel of
CHRIST, a believer is given
the most glorious
assurance: there was
warning about persecution, 13
the true believer must pass
through, he shall pass
though the tribulation or
trail, the believer will not be
swallowed up by
persecution, the tribulation
will end, he must be warned
unless he becomes
discourage and fall away
when persecution strikes,
he will not be cast into
eternity and lost and perish,
GOD will take the believer
on to heaven to live in HIS
glorious presence

greatest opponent of JESUS
CHRIST, believers are in the
world, but they are not of
the world, they are
separated from the world,
from his spirit, thoughts,
conversation, pleasures,
friends, comfort, religion,
carnality passion and
covetousness , because of
their separation, the world
does not love believers; it
reject and hate them
because they identified with
CHRIST
Believers must understand
that the world, including
false religious organization
and churches, will always
oppose GOD and the
principle of the kingdom,
consequently, the world 14
remain an enemy and
persecutors to faithful
believers until the end, the
reason believers suffer at
the hands of people of the
world, is because they are
basically different; they are
not of the world, and have
come out of the world, the
value, standards and
direction of the believer are
in conflict with the
unrighteous ways of the
corrupt world, the believers
refuse to compromised with
the world ungodly
standards and set their
affection on things above
and not on things on earth
The servant is not above
persecution: no servant is
above the LORD, the LORD
suffer persecution,
therefore, the believer will
suffer persecution, it is
expected, it is impossible for
a true disciple to be above
the his Master or a servant
to be above His LORD, if our
lord suffer persecution, so
will all believers, they will
persecute us for the same
thing and for the same
reason, the true believer
sacrifice himself, and all he
is and has to the LORD, he
strives to conform his life to
the LORD’S righteousness
and principles, which in
opposition to the world,
therefor, persecution is
expected for true believer,
The world hate believer
because they don’t really
know GOD, the world is
deceived in its concept and
belief of GOD, the world

this, GOD demands

WORD AND THE WORLD
HATED THEM
I have given them thy word,
the Gospel, and the ability
to preach it but the world
hates of them because this
word is not of men, nor
agreeable to carnal
reasoning, lust, selfishness,
self-centeredness,
covetousness. It magnifies
the grace of GOD; and
destroys the boasting of
men, itis against the carnal
interest,, worldly views and
lust of men.
The world and the devil
hated the believer followers
of JESUS CHRIST, , who have
the word of GOD, it is the
word of GOD that reveals,
GOD’S love, a sacrificial
love that gives all it has,
which is different from the
love of the world , the world
and Satan stands against
the holiness and justice of
GOD, the disciples and
other believers were born
again by the spirit of GOD
and given the very nature of
GOD, the world and the
devil want absolutely
nothing to do with a selfless
and sacrificed nature, a
righteous and godly nature
that gives all one is and has
to meet the needs of the
diseased and starving and
lost masses of the world

glory in tribulations also;

in our tribulation, which is
all kinds of trials that may
affect us, which includes
such things as pressures of
financial or physical needs,
trying circumstances,,
sorrow, sickness,
persecution; mistreatment
or loneliness, in the middle
of these troubles the grace
of GOD enables us to seek
HIS face more diligently and
produce in us a preserving
Spirit , and character that
overcome the trails of life,
instead of driving us to
dejection,, suffering
produce perseverance ,
patience is a grace, of which
GOD is the author, it is one
of the fruits of the Spirit
GOD grace lets us look
beyond our present
problems to a fervent hope
in GOD and certain hope
AND PATIENCE EXPERIENCE
As tribulations tends to
exercise and increase
patience, so patience being
exercised and increase the 17
love and grace of GOD
communicated to them at
such seasons, the word
trails or suffering means
pressure, oppression,
affliction, and distress,
patience stirs character:
integrity, strength, the idea
of proven experience , of
gaining strength through
trail of life, when a believer
goes through trails and
endures trails , he comes
out of it stronger than ever
before, he is a man of a
stronger character and
integrity
Character stir hope, to
expect with confidence,
when a believer becomes
stronger in character, he
draws closer to GOD and
hope for the glory of GOD
there is the continuous
experience of GOD’S love
through the present of the
Holy Spirit, the Holy spirit
pours out love of GOD in
our hearts, he grows and
matures us in the love of
GOD, increasing our
understanding of what GOD
has done and is doing for us,
he help us to learn more
and more of glorious
salvation he promised, it is
the sense and intimacy of
GOD’S love that is being
stressed: a personal
manifestation, a personal
experience of the presence
and love of GOD his
justification and care for bus
as we walk through life
moment by moment, the
Holy spirit is given to us He
enters our hearts and lives
