20)And he lifted up his eyes
on his disciples, and said,
blessed be ye poor; for yours
is the kingdom of GOD
|
BLESSED BE YE POOR:
And looking towards his
disciples, JESUS stood upon
the plain , he lifted up his
eyes, on his disciples and
began speaking: blessed
spiritually prosperous,
happy, to be admired are
you who are poor in spirit,
those devoid of arrogance,
those who regards
themselves as unimportant,
for the kingdom of GOD is
yours both now and forever
These verses are called the
beatitudes, from the Latin
word meaning “blessing”
they describe what it means
to be CHRIST’S followers,
gives standard of conduct
and give difference of
kingdom value from
worldly value, showing what
CHRIST followers can expect
from the world and what
GOD will give them.
The foundation
characteristic is poverty of
Spirit, the consciousness of
one’s own weakness, the
opposite of the illusion that
we are rich and increase
with goods, that the poor
stands better than the rich
for the kingdom of GOD ,all
true subjection to the
kingdom begins with ,that
accurate of lowly estimate
of ourselves, humility is the
life.
JESUS touched on
materialism the things of
the world and rejected the
materialisms things of the
world and warns of the
worldly and materialistic
focus.
POOR IN SPIRIT is:
To acknowledged that no
matter what one has
achieved in this world fame,
riches, power, he is not
better or richer nor superior
to the other person, his
attitude towards other is
not proud and self
important, over-bearing or
superior, that every human
being is a real person like
anyone else,
To acknowledge that one
should approach life with
humility, and that real
blessing of life and eternity
comes only from the right
relationship with GOD, he
journeys through life
through a humble attitude
and Spirit of appreciation
He turns his attention from
the things of this world and
focus on GOD alone.
The opposite of Poor in
Spirit, is having a spirit that
is full of self, self-righteous
focusses on self , which
results to death, while
CHRIST’S righteousness is
life, which promises the
Poor in Spirit of receiving
the kingdom of GOD,
ISAIAH 66:2
For all those things hath
mine hand made, and all
those things have been,
saith the LORD but to this
man will I look even to him
that is poor and of a
contrite spirit, and trembled
at my word

Those Who are spiritually
hungry after righteousness,
is hungry spirit that craves
after righteousness, they
hunger and thirsty after
righteousness, doing good
loving his neighbor
believing in JESUS CHRIST
and sacrificial in giving

For he satisfies the thirsty
and filled the hungry soul
with goodness

Is it not to divide your food
with the hungry and bring
the homeless wandering
poor into your house, when
you see the naked, that you
clothe him, and not hid
yourself from the need of

Blessed are ye that hunger

spiritual sense for he shall

Is a contrite spirit , broken
heart, weeping over sin and
Under afflictions and
pressures of life, and mourn
for sin, who are desperately
sorry for his sin and
unworthiness before GOD,
he has such sense of sin that
his heart is just broken, the
person who really feels the
desperate plight and
suffering of others you
The promise to those who
weep is that they will laugh,
that arise from a deep
seated joy and comfort in
seeing the end of sin and
same , spiritual joy and
pleasure and be comforted
with the consolation of the
spirit.

company, and shall reproach

as evil, for the SON of man

BLESSED ARE YOU WHEN
MEN SHALL HATE YOU AND
SEPARATE YOU
Blessed morally courageous
and goodness are you when
people hate you, and
exclude you from their
fellowship, and insult you,
and scorn your name as evil
for the sake of CHRIST,
when they will separate you
from their company, either
from civil conversation with
them, by which person , but
the world also hated those
who run counter to its
pleasures, the world also
hates them because they
are not of the world, even
CHRIST is not of the world

Believers suffer hatred
because they do not belong
to the world, they are called
out of the world, they are in
the world, but they are not
of the world, they are
separated from the
behavior of the world JOHN
15:19,
Believers suffers hate
because they remove away
the robe of sin, they live and
demonstrate a life of
CHRIST righteousness,
which exposes the sin of the
people, because the world
does know GOD or CHRIST,
they want no GOD other
than themselves and their
lust, they want to do just
what they want, the fulfill
their own desire and not
what our LORD demands of
mercy, compassion and
love.
Believers suffer hate
because the world perceives
GOD to be the person who
fulfills their earthly desires
and lust, they see GOD as
supreme Grandfather, who
always protects, provides
and gives, no matter one’s
behavior, but the true
Believer teaches against
these, GOD love, he is also
just and demands his
righteousness through
CHRIST JESUS, the world
rebel against the will of
GOD to live in right
standing with GOD.
LEAP FOR JOY
Rejoice you in that day
when they should be hated,
reproached, discarded and
accursed: and leap for joy;
the reward , as if the
greatest honor and
happiness imaginable had
been conferred on them ,
for behold, their reward is
great in heaven

24) But woe unto you that are
rich! For ye have received your
consolation
|
BUT WOE UNTO YOU THAT
ARE RICH
In this world goods ,
material possession, they
love them; they have sought
for them, the warning is
strong to the rich,, who
have all good things, not
because you are rich but
because you are not rich
towards GOD LUKE 12:21
Because you are self
centered, selfish and
covetous and only considers
yourself and family without
considering your neighbor,
why are the rich warned
riches remove ones focuses
from the kingdom of
heaven, it is quite difficult
for the rich man to enter
the kingdom of heaven, the
rich man sees wealth are
Idol and their god
(MAMMOM),money, which
they worship JESUS made
the statement ,it is difficult
for a rich man to enter the
kingdom of heaven
MATTHEW 19:23 and you
cannot serve two Masters
GOD and Mammon
( money) MATTHEW 6:24
There is an enticement, an
attraction, an influence that
draws any one who focuses
at possessing wealth, they
are enslaved and in tragedy
for those who refuse to
embrace GOD, wealth
brings ego, making a person
self-sufficient and
independent in this world,
which propels such person
to feel he truly needs
nothing, and such worldly
thought, makes one to
forget GOD and he forget
there are things that money
cant buy peace, joy, love
and all that really matters
within the Spirit of man,
neither can money save on
from disease, sickness,
accident, disaster and
death.

The world revolves in
desperate need, ravaged
with poverty , with people
who are starving,, sick,
homeless, without clothes
and Spiritually lost and with
out CHRIST in this world and
destined for destruction
without knowing CHRIST,
riches tend to make a man
selfish , the more we get,
the more we want, when
we taste the things of the
world, we become afraid to
loose them, then we
struggle to keep what we
have to get more.
JESUS says how hard is it
for the rich, that those who
have no compassion and
take care of their Poor
neighbor, when there are
desperately in need, how
can we expect GOD to have
compassion and take care
of us when we face
desperate need from
heaven, the loving and just
GOD would not meet our
needs for eternal life ,
The rich have the means to
help and save the
desperate poor of the
world, that is why JESUS
CHRIST instructed the rich
young ruler in LUKE 18:22
that he lacks on essential
thing by keeping his money
to himself when millions are
ravaged with sickness, lack
of home to stay, lack of
clothing and are spiritually
lost and ready for
condemnation and eternal
death .
If a man centers his life
upon the things of the
world, his attention is on
the possession, position
fame, house, cars, building ,
he tends to pay more
attention in securing more
and protecting what he has,
he will never give any
thought to heavenly
matters, wealth and wordily
possession normally
consume his thought and
their riches
THEY HAVE RECEIVED THEIR
CONSOLATION( judgment)
The judgment of the rich
man is their wealth on
earth, again the same
warning cry to the so called
rich men of this world is
here re-echoed with
greater force in Lazarus and
the rich man, Thou in thy
lifetime’ says Abraham,
speaking from Paradise,
thou in thy life time
received thy good things,
and likewise Lazarus evil
things, but now he is
comforted, and thou art
tormented LUKE 16:25
The rich have received their
comfort in full on earth,
which they take from their
own works, a very unstable
and short lived one,there
will be no consolation after
this life- no help, no aid,
they are paid in full, they
choose this life. For there is
no true solid comfort but in
CHRIST, and his
righteousness that
administer consolation, and
lays a foundation for
everlasting comfort.

25)Woe unto you that are
full! For ye shall hunger, woe
unto you that laugh now! For
ye shall mourn and weep
|
WOE UNTO YOU THAT ARE
FULL FOR YOU SHALL
HUNGER
The full are those who are
filled with all that the world
has to offer, they are full of
themselves, their own
desire, craving and urge,
they are filled of every kind
of wickedness, greed, evil
full with envy, murder,
strife, deceit and malice,
which ,points to men who
use their wealth for
pleasure , for the mere
gratification of the their
carnal desire.
They loved them, they
sought for them; they found
their consolation in them,
they don’t seek or receive
consolation from the
gospel, they are proud and
would not seek it, are
satisfied with their wealth
not feeling they need
anything better than earthly
wealth can give, they feel
satisfied, and did not desire
the gospel of CHRIST , they
are filled with cares of the
world, affluence of things
of this life, as of themselves,
and seen as their own
righteousness, and so with
self-importance and after ,
vanity and pride, and have
no appetite for spiritual
things, nor do hunger after
CHRIST; and the grace that
is in him
THEY SHALL HUNGER
They are spiritually empty
and full of sin , they have no
desire for the riches that
shall endure forever into
everlasting life, but they
shall be in starving
circumstance, The judgment
of the full will be hunger,
they will leave all that filled
them and die, they will have
no desire filled after this
life, and will have no delight
filled throughout eternity
WOE UNTO YOU THAT
LAUGH NOW
Those who are sinfully
merry, are those who have
no sense of sin, no sorrow
or regret over evil, who are
proudly self-satisfied,
dreamed that they needed
nothing, neither repentance
in themselves nor
forgiveness from GOD, their
joy is carnal and sensual
they laugh all in the world
with comfort, ease,
pleasure, their joy is the
entertainment of their
flesh, they pay little or no
attention to the world
suffering under the weight
of evil and disaster, greed
and selfishness, sin and
death
FOR YOU SHALL MOURN
WEEP
The warning of judgment to
Laugh is mourning and
weeping, is threatened to
such, which is either meant
the vengeance of GOD upon
them in this life, or in the
world to come, where there
shall be weeping, and
gashing of teeth, the time is
coming when you shall
sorrow deeply, in sickness,
in calamity, in the prospect
of death, in the fear of
eternity, your laughter shall
be turn into sorrow, you
shall be cast into outer
darkness,
They are in disaster
because they refuse to face
the reality of a world lost in
sin and evil, a world that
needed their attention and
help, they refuse to help the
needy and poor, those who
suffer and weep so much in
this world, therefore, they
will be left alone in the next
world to weep and mourn
over their great loss

men shall speak well of you!
For so did their fathers to false
prophets
|
WOE UNTO YOU WHEN
MEN SPEAK WELL OF YOU
Woe on to you when the
wicked men of the world
draw attention and esteem
position and place of honor
and recognition , they
speak well of men who
attain such, JESUS CHRIST
says False prophets were
those of whom the world
spoke well of , they covert
worldly recognition and
honor at the expense of
heavenly recognition , the
people of the world will not
praise or applaud CHRIST
teaching; they are oppose
to it and therefore, if they
speak well of you and your
teaching, it is proof that you
do not teach the true
doctrine, if man preaches
false doctrine for true: they
declare that GOD has
spoken, which he had not
spoken.
The false prophets men
who pretend to be of GOD,
who delivers their own
“Doctrines” as the truth of
GOD who accommodates
themselves to the desire of
the people, cannot be
accommodated in the
doctrine of JESUS of self
denial , which is so contrary
to most men’s lust of
materialism , possession
and worldliness.
It is therefore impossible
that most of the world false
pastors, religionist who
practice “MAMMON”
Gospel of prosperity cannot
be reconciled to the
glorious Gospel of JESUS
CHRIST ,as many flatter
themselves and exert to
accommodate their several
lust; so as to interpret the
gospel, that the way to
heaven is made so broad
that it is easy and they
spoke well of them, and
heaped favors, riches, and
honors upon them , which
many believes and a perish
and are condemned.
We are not to be as false
prophets, to acknowledge
and compromise with their
worldliness, the believer
must speak the truth of the
Gospel to all men: all men
need is the Savor our LORD
JESUS CHRIST and their
eternal fate depends upon
their coming to him for
salvation and seeking his
righteousness

27)But I say unto you, which
hear, love your enemies, do
good to them which hate you

BUT I SAY UNTO YOU
WHICH HEAR LOVE YOUR
ENEMIES
But I say you who hear me
and pay attention to my
words; love that is unselfish
seek the best or higher good
for enemies, make it a
practice to do good to those
who hate you, in the
ancient days, people were
commonly taught in the old
world to love their families
and friends and hate their
enemies, JESUS announced
a radical change of new
ethics of loving ones
enemies and overcoming
evil through self-sacrifice of
love for others, not through
violence and hate
JESUS taught us how to live
with other persons, as
member of the new
covenant we are obligated
to live according to the
command, loving our
enemies is not emotional
love but a genuine concern
for their good, and acting in
their best interest, think of
ways of helping them , just
as CHRIST who love the
whole world ,and more for
their eternal salvation. Since
we know the terrible fate
that awaiting those who are
hostile to GOD and his
people,.
We as believer must not
repay evil for evil but evil
for good, to bring them back
to CHRIST , this been
distinctly the spirit of the
highest part of the law and
the old testament
EXODUS 23:4- 5I
If you come across your
enemy’s ox or donkeys
wandering off, be sure to
take it back to him
5) If you see the donkey of
someone who hate you
fallen down under its load,
do not leave it there; be
sure you help him with it
PROVERBS 25:21-22
If your enemy is hungry;
give him food to eat, if he is
thirsty, give him water to
drink
22)In doing this, you will
heap burning coals on his
head and the LORD will
reward you
There are new principle of
life JESUS was speaking to
his disciples and those
believers who will hear and
do the command of our
LORD, that is radical in
nature , which governs
human relation Love: love
your enemies, believers are
to love all men, even
enemies, they are to respect
and honor all men, every
human being have
something that is
commendable, as far is a
fellow human being with
soul to be reached for GOD.16
Believers must have mercy
if they want to obtain mercy
from GOD MATTHEW 5:7,
those who are enemies may
choose to remain
antagonistic, but believer
can still forgive in mercy and
compassion, Loving our
enemies does not mean
standing by idly while
evildoers continue their
wicked deeds, when it is
necessary for GOD’S honor,
the good or safety of others,
or the ultimate good of the
wicked, severe action must
be taken to stop evil
MARK 11:15 ,
DO GOOD TO THOSE WHO
HATE YOU
JESUS have a radical shift
and command that we do
good to them that hate us,
not in words; it actually
does things for the person
who hates,
