  PRACTICAL APPLICATION

LUKE 6:28
28)Bless them that curse you,
and pray for them which
despitefully use you
BLESS THEM THAT CURSE
YOU
Bless those who curse you,
when some one curse a
believer, the believer is to
bless his causer, not rail
back, he is to speak softly,
words and kind reconciling
words
ROMANS 12:14
Bless those who persecute
you, bless and do not curse
1 PETER 3:9
Do not repay, evil for evil or
insult with insult,, but with
blessing, because to this you
were called so that you may
inherit a blessing
JESUS himself, on the cross,
when he prayed that his
murders, might be forgiven,
for they knew not what
they were doing, LUKE
23:34
And his apostle Stephen,
who copied faithfully his
LORD in his own dying
moments are beautiful
thought extreme examples
of what is meant .
ACTS 7:60
PRAY FOR THEM WHICH
DESPITEFULLY USE YOU
Pray for others and pray for
those who mistreat you, in
and attempt to hurt both
our name and our body,
some try to shame, disgrace
and reproach us, they
misuse us, mistreat, abuse,
attack, and persecute us,
JESUS CHRIST commanded
that we should pray for
them, pray forb GOD to
forgive them and for their
salvation
Payer for the persecutor
will greatly benefit the
believer, it will keep the
believer from being hostile,
bitter and reactionary
LUKE 6:29
29)And unto him that smiteth
thee on the one cheek offer
also the other; and him that
taketh away thy cloak forbid
not to take thy coat also
AND UNTO HIM THAT
SMITETH THEE ON ONE
CHEEK OFFER THE OTHER
It is a declaration of great
principle, wisdom is
required ,Our LORD, for
instance, did not offer
himself to be stricken again
JOHN 18:22-23 but firmly
though with lovely courtesy,
rebuked the one who struck
him and PAUL also
ACTS 23:3
When suffering for the
gospel’s sake, for his
personal testimony of
CHRIST, the believer is to
respond to personal abuse
as the LORD teaches
patience in bearing injuries
and affronts , the believer
is to demonstrate moral
strength through a quiet
and meek spirit, trusting
GOD to touch the heart of
his abuser .
AND HIM THAT TAKETH
AWAY THY CLOAK FORBID
NOT TO TAKE THY COAT
ALSO
A Believer should be
engaged and focused in
living to the fulness for
CHRIST, reaching out to a
world lost and consume
with dispute , needing the
peace which only GOD can
bring:
CORINTHIANS 6:6-7
6)But brother goeth to the
law with brother, and that
before the unbelievers
7)Now therefore there is
utterly a fault among you,
because ye go to law one
with another, why do ye not
rather take wrong? Why do
ye not rather suffer
yourselves to be defrauded
1 PETER 2 :19-23
19)For this is thankworthy,
if a man for conscience to
ward GOD endure grief,
suffering wrongfully
20)For what glory is it, if,
when ye do well, and
buffeted for your faults, ye
shall take it patiently? But if,
when you do well, and
suffer for it, ye take it
patiently, this is acceptable
with GOD19
21)For even hereunto were
ye called: because CHRIST
also suffered for us, leaving
us an example, that ye
should follow his step
22) Who did no sin, neither
was guile found in his
mouth
23)Who, when he was
reviled, reviled not again:
when he suffered, he
threatened not; but
committed himself to him
that judgeth righteously
JESUS CHRIST teaches
patience in bearing injuries
and affront, and to seek not
to seek private revenge; but
rather, suffer more than
indulging in such temper.

30)Give to every man that
asketh of thee; and of him that
taketh away thy goods ask
them not again
GIVE TO EVERY MAN THAT
ASKETH OF THEE
Which seems more
agreeing to DEU. 15:7-9 not
by force but by consent,
having either lend them, or
sold them to him, for if it
were taken away by force,
the person so taking them
was to be deemed a thief
and robber and to be
treated as such ,the spirit of
our LORD command is
giving to the Poor
The believer lives in
readiness to give, lend, he
does not lives for this earth
and world, he live for GOD
in heaven, his citizenship is
in heaven, therefore
attachment of earthly things
is only for meeting the
needs of life and helping
others, he exist to help to
give. To those in need
DEMAND IT NOT20
The believer is not to
demand the things he lend
back, if the person needs
them and is going to
resulting to hurt him, if
they are taken back, he
must considered the person
needs and show mercy., he
must be careful not to lose
his chance of winning the
person to CHRIST, no
amount of money is worth
his soul

LUKE 6:31
31)And as ye would that men
should do to you, do ye also to
them likewise
AND AS YOU WANT MEN
SHOULD DO TO YOU DO IT
LIKEWISE
This is the law of nature the
golden rule of all justice,
and may also serve for a
guide to principles of love,
mercy ,compassion and
kindness, men should
consider first what they
would be glad, and think
reasonable, that that they
should do to them, were
they in their circumstances ,
and the others had the
same ability or advantage to
do good to them; and they
should measure their acts
both of justice and love.
The Golden rule is a very
practical statement of
GOD’S love: that is GOD has
done to us as he want us to
do to him, GOD has treated
us just as he wants us to
treat him and everyone
else, the golden rule reveals
the heart of GOD, it shows
us exactly how GOD’S
heart longs for us to live and
act, its one sentence
revealing what love really is
and what life in heaven the
perfect world is like to be, it
shows the believer that ,as
the citizen of both heaven
and earth, they are to live as
the golden rule dictates
while still on earth.
The golden rule is one -
sentence statement that
embraces all human
behavior , the rule includes
all the “law and the
prophets, it demand true
laws law and justice of
behavior of man, it teaches
man not to lie, steal,, cheat,
covert, or injure ; it is
concerned with true love of
positive active behavior, it
looks for ways to do good
that you want other to do to
you; and doing that good to
others
The golden rule teaches the
whole law, for the whole
law is contained in the
words: love your neighbor
as yourself, as every human
being would like to have all
others treat him perfectly:
to love and care for him to
the ultimate degree and to
express that love and care,
the believer should love and
are while of earth, he is to
give earth a taste of heaven,
that men can turn to GOD
LUKE 6:32-33
32)For if ye love them which
love you, what thanks have
ye? For sinners also love those
that love them
33)And if ye do good to them
which do good to you, what
thank have ye? for sinners also
do even the same
SELF DENIAL AND WORLD
BEHAVIOR OF A BELIVER
For if you love them which
love you, what thanks have
ye? What great thanks are
due to you on that account,
you are only a sinner and
unbeliever: but if you love
those who do evil to you ,
you are like GOD, who is
kind to the unthankful and
evil, for even sinners saith
he do the same, that is men
who do not regard GOD at
all.
The believer behavior must
surpass an
unbeliever/sinner’s
behavior
v Unbeliever/ sinner love
those who love them
v Unbeliever/sinner’s do
good to those who do
good to them
v Unbeliever /sinner’s
lend to secure interest
or favor or some gain .
For if ye love them which
love you, what thank have
ye? Or what grace have ye?
there is no fruit, nor
evidence of grace, nor
exercise of the true grace of
love; nor is it any favor
conferred upon the object
loved; nor any reward can
be expected for such
treatment, what reward
have you, for sinners men
that are destitute of grace
of GOD, help
unbeliever/sinner’s
And if you do good to them
which do good to you, as
one good turn deserved
another, what thanks have
you? What grace or
goodness is there in such
action? What glory or merit
is there in it?
For sinner/unbelievers also
do even the same: this is to
be found in the worst of
men, and natural to them, it
takes more than the virtue
and goodness of love and
doing good among men and
sacrifice and self-denial of
one self for the sake of
reaching out to the unlovely
for CHRIST:
v The enemies
v The selfish
v The haters
v The borrowers
v The needy
v The despiteful users
v The thieves
v The cursers
v The persecutors
The believer who loves his
enemies and did good to
those who hate him, might
be said that he even loan his
life to the world
LUKE 6:34
34)And if you lend to them of
whom ye hope to receive,
what tank have ye? For sinners
also lend to sinners, to receive
as much again
IF YOU LEND TO THEM OF
WHOM YE HOPE TO
RECEIVE
But if you lend money to
those from whom you
expect to receive it back,
what credit is that to you,
what favor do you show in
that? Or what grace have
you, this is no fruit no
evidence of grace, nor any
exercise of true grace of
love, nor any reward is
expected for such treatment
For sinners/ unbelievers
lend to sinners expecting to
receive the same amount
back
LUKE 6:35
35)But love ye your enemies,
and do good, and lend, hoping
for nothing again; and your
reward shall be great, and ye
shall be the children of the
highest; for is kind unto the
unthankful and to the evil
BUT LOVE YOUR ENEMIES,
AND DO GOOD AND LEND
HOPING FOR NOTHING
But love that is unselfishly
seek the best or higher good
for your enemies, which is
a command an act of
mercy ,and do good, and
lend, give and lend
according to the law of
CHRIST, and do not let the
absence of immediate profit
make your heart and hope,
expecting nothing in return:
either the principal or
interest, lending to such
persons, from whom, in all
appearance, it is never to be
expected again, for your
reward will be great, rich,
abundant, GOD will blessed
you in your worldly
substance here and will not
forget your generosity and
you will be sons of the most
high GOD .
That such who from
principle of grace, and with
the right view of such act of
kindness and generosity to
their fellow human, and
shall be made manifest, and
declare to be the children of
GOD: since they will appear
to be born of him, and make
partakers of the divine
nature, and bear
resemblance of him, by
their imitating him because
he himself is kind and
gracious and good to the
unthankful and the wicked.
The believer who is
involved in living for
CHRIST:
He shall receive a great
reward, all the believer
suffers and lose on earth
will be restored, he will
receive well beyond what
he has lost, he will receive
enormous reward for
having obeyed the LORD
and having sacrifice in other
to meet the needs of the
dying world, the believer
stands to receive both
eternal life and inheritance
for having obeyed CHRIST
have so served sacrificially
on earth, the believer shall
be part of the glorious work
of GOD, that will take place
in the NEW Heaven and
Earth and shall be acting as
a child of GOD, the privilege
of demonstrating and
showing mercy! Acting as
GOD act, being merciful as
GOD is merciful
LUKE 6:36
36)Be ye therefore merciful,
as your FATHER also is
merciful
BE YE THEREFOR MERCIFUL
The believer must be
merciful, tenderhearted,
kind, compassionate,
generous as your FATHER
which is heaven, who is
good to all, both to the
ungrateful and wicked and
his tender mercies are over
all his works, it is GOD’S
pattern and also is merciful
,being the best of divine
attribute,.
such a person easily
forgets, injuries, forgives
without being asked and
continues good in spite of
ingratitude, so believers
must put up GOD’S bowel of
mercy, compassion and
kindness, GOD can only be
our ideal in his attribute, of
which love is the center,
stop not short at the easier
love, but go on to the
harder; and do this because
GOD does it even to the
unthankful and evil
LUKE 6:37
37)Judge not, and ye shall not
be judged; condemn not, and
ye shall not be condemned;
forgive and ye shall be
forgiven
JUDGE NOT AND YE SHALL
NOT BE JUDGED
JESUS condemned
hypocritical judgment that
degrade another person,
the habit of criticizing
others, while ignoring one’s
own faults, those who
condemn other will be
judged with the same
standard, getting rid of our
own faults before
attempting to get rid of
those of others, and
showing that the faults of
other is not as bad as our
own, and you will not be
judged; believers must first
submit themselves to GOD’S
righteous standard before
attempting to examine and
influence the conduct of
other believers, judging in
an unjust manner also
includes condemning a
wrongdoer without desiring
the offender return to GOD.
JESUS is not denying the
necessity of exercising a
certain degree of acumen to
making valued judgment
with respect to sin in others,
we are commanded to
identify false teachers,
ministers within the church
and to evaluate there
character and evaluate
individual character:
JOHN 7:24
Judge not according to the
appearance, but judge
righteous judgment
1 TIMOTHY 4:1
Now the Spirit speaketh
expressly, that in the latter
times some shall depart
from the faith, giving heed
to seducing spirits, and
doctrines of devils
2)Speaking lies in hypocrisy
having their conscience
seared with a hot iron
2 TIMOTHY 3:1
1)This know also, that in
the last days perilous times
shall come
2) For men shall be lovers
of their own selves,
covetous, boosters, proud,
blasphemers, disobedient to
parents, unthankful, unholy
3)Without natural affection,
trucebreakers, false
accusers, in content, fierce,
despisers of those that are
good
4)Traitors , heady, high
minded, lovers of pleasure
more than GOD
5) Having form of godliness,
but denying the power
thereof from such turn
away
2 TIMOTHY 4:2-4
Preach the word: be instant
in season, out of season;
reprove, rebuke, exhort
with all longsuffering and
doctrine
3)For the time will come
when they will not endure
sound doctrine; but after
their own lusts shall they
heap to themselves
teachers, having itching ears
4)And they shall turn away
their ears from the truth,
and shall be turned unto
fables
TITUS 1:9-11
9) Holding fast the faithful
word as he hath as he hath
been taught, that he may be
able by sound doctrine both
to exhort and to convince
the gainsayers
10)For there are many
unruly and vain talkers and
deceivers specially they of
the circumcision
11) whose mouths must be
stopped, who subvert whole
houses, teaching things,
which they ought not, for
filthy sake
1 JOHN 4:1
1)Beloved, believe not
every spirit, but try the
spirits whether they are of
GOD; because many false
prophets are gone out into
the world
Do not condemn others
when you are guilty and
unrepentant, and you will
not be condemned for your
hypocrisy pardon others
when they truly repent and
change, and you will be
pardoned when you truly
repent and change ,
JESUS made the promise of
reciprocal behavior, of
receiving back what he
gave, if we judge and
condemn and are
unforgiving of others, then
both men and GOD will
treat us the same, if we not
judge and, condemn not,
but rather forgive them,
then GOD and most men
will not judge and condemn
us; they will also be
forgiven,
Offence and trespasses
committed against you bear
with, and pass by injuries
and wrong and shall be
forgiven of GOD
LUKE :6:38
38)Give, and it shall be given
unto you; good measure,
pressed down, and shaken
together, and running over,
shall men give into your
bosom, for with the same
measure that ye mete withal,
it shall be measured to you
again
GIVE AND IT SHALL BE GIVE
TO YOU
Give your worldly
substance to the needy and
poor, persons, as you have
the to opportunity,
according to your ability ,
and as the case requires, we
as believers are to give in
conformity with the
principle of love, we must
give to those in need, GOD
himself will in return give to
us, the measure and
blessing and reward, we
receive is the proportion
how we have generously
given to other who lack and
need
2 CORINTHIANS 9:6-10
To let us know how GOD
favor acts of generous given
and justice we shall
observe, that there are no
good deeds that GOD did
not reward with relation,
the grand characteristic
feature of the believer is in
his generosity, they must be
known among men that
they are givers of bondless
generosity, limitless
kindness to all , unbeliever
and believer.
Good measure- They shall
give you good measure or
full of measure
Press down- the clear point
to measure of grain, so
pressed and shaken that it
could hold no, more, by
given is a constant habit,
and therefore a generous
nature, which applys to
man’s given as well as to
recompense with which the
generous giver shall be
rewarded
Shaken together-To make it
more compact, and thus to
give more
Running over- So full that
the measure would
overflow
Nothing can more concur to
make good measure, than
the shaking of the bushel,
the crowding and pressing
down of the corn or meal
with hand, and the pouring
in till the measure runs
over, so as that which is
here promised, is a plentiful
reward to be generous and
merciful actions, either from
the hand of GOD or GOD
stirring other people to be
kind to the compassionate
and merciful giver
SHALL MEN GIVE IN TO
YOUR BOSOM
This is the reward of giving
to the poor and needy; and
the meaning is that the man
who is generous will find
others generous to him in
dealing with them, a man
who is kind to the poor,
who has that character
established, will find many
who are ready to help him
abundantly when he is in
want:
The believer is to give and
possess a spirit of given and
not to be selfish and
hoarding, if he gives, he
shall receive back much
more, his cup shall be
running over, GOD will pour
all the good things of this
earth into his life, a person
receives what he gives,
what a man put into life is
was he gets out of life.
