33) But seek ye first the
kingdom of GOD, and his
righteousness; and all these
things shall be added unto
you
SEEK YE THE KINGDOM OF GOD
GOD
SEEK YE FIRST- That is the first
place, and with the greatest
earnestness and concern, as being
the principal things-THE KINGDOM
OF GOD before you strive after
anything else; your first striving
should be the kingdom of GOD
,which is diligently to be sought
after, and to be constantly attended
on, and be preferred to that to our
Necessary food, riches, clothing, or
any enjoyment of life
That GOD kingdom remains in
your heart, the right state of the
heart, which is the grand objects in
the supreme pursuit of which all
things needful for the present life
To seek of GOD is to put GOD
above all things else, is to put GOD
first in our life, to fill our thoughts
with his desire, to take his character
as our pattern of life, to serve and
obey him
The must important thing is to put
GOD first above every thing, rather
than being preoccupied with
material things, our ambition
should be to seek first GOD’S
kingdom, the principle of GOD you
first belong to him
But most importantly seek aims at,
strive after the kingdom of GOD
Let our principal care and study be
how to get to heaven, and how to
promote the kingdom of GOD in the
world , and bring the heart to
subjection to GOD;s will, that the
kingdom of GOD may be in our
heart
SEEK- entails being continually
absorbed in search for something or
making strenuous and diligent
effort to obtain something
AND HIS RIGTOUSNESS
The seeking of these is the making
them the object of supreme choice
and pursuit as revealed in the
Gospel his ways of doing and being
right the attitude and character of
GOD, and is what gives a right and
title to the kingdom of heaven

16)The law and the prophets
were until John: since that
time the kingdom of GOD is
preached, and every man
presseth in to it
THE NATURE OF THE KINGDOM
Since the kingdom of GOD is
preached; the Gospel, and the
mysteries of relating to the
kingdom of the Messiah,the
kingdom of GOD carries the idea of
GOD coming into the world to
assert his power, glory and right
against Satan’s domination and the
present state of this world
The kingdom is primarily an
assertion of GOD’s power in action,
by GOD beginning his Spiritual rule
on earth in the heart of many his
people.
JOHN 14:23
And every man presseth- Publican
and sinners, all are eagerly
pressing into it
ROMANS 14:17
17)For the kingdom of GOD
is not meat and drink; but
righteousness, and peace,
and joy in the Holy Ghost
FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD
Kingdom of GOD does not consist of
meat, drink, and out ward religion
It consist of:
Ø Righteousness
Ø Peace and
Ø Joy in the Holy Ghost
Into which we enter by believing in
JESUS CHRIST, and becoming his
Subjects or which thereby enters
into us, and is set up in our hearts,
IS NOT- Does not consist in meat
and drink- or in any ceremonial
observance whatever but
RIGTEOUSNESS- of Faith, love, and
obedience and holy conduct
PEACE- With GOD of integrity, and
peacefulness of mind
AND JOY IN THE HOLY GHOST-Joy
arising from a sense of the
forgiveness of our sin and favor of
GOD
An essential evidence that one is
experiencing GOD’s is a life of
righteousness, peace and joy in the
Holy Ghost
In other to have the blessing, we
must follow whatever brings them
about, by deny self for personal
pleasure and be committed to
things of the Kingdom laboring in
the doctrine of JESUS CHRIST
observing and doing them.

25)therefore I say unto you,
take no thought for your life,
what ye shall eat, or what ye
shall drink; nor yet for your
body, what ye shall put on, is
not the life more than meat,
and the body than raiment?
DO NOT BE ANXIOUS
JESUS had proceeds to caution his
disciple against worldly cares, these
being inconsistent with the word of
GOD, since ye cannot serve both
GOD and Mammon, obey one and
neglect the other, JESUS CHRIST
does not forbid labor to maintain,
support and preserve, he forbids all
thought and care about it .
REASON WHY WE SHOULD NOT
WORRY
  • Life is more than food and drink
  • Body is more than clothing
  • Men are greater than materials
Don’t be disturbed about material
needs that will distract you from
GOD and faithfully doing his will,
anxious and care are direct
opposite of faith.
Inner mental stability must come
from the spirit of a man and not
from outward physical provision.
To set one’s heart on material
possession or worry about the lack
of them is to live in perpetual
insecurity and to deprive oneself of
spiritual blessing of GOD.

26)Behold the fowls of the
air for they sow not, neither
do they reap, nor gather into
barns; yet your heavenly
FATHER feedeth them, are ye
not much better than they
ANXIETY AND CARE
BEHOLD THE FOWLS OF THE AIR
GOD confidence in the provision of
food, reference to the fowls of the
air, they have no anxiety about the
supply of their wants; they do not
sow or reap; they fill the plantation
with music, and meet the coming
the coming light of the morning
with their songs, not anxious about
the supply of their needs; yet
without hunger, how regular the
almighty GOD fed them and
minister to their wants, which are
numerous
HEAVENLY FATHER FEEDS THEM
How cheerfully and regularly are
their necessities supplied, said the
savior we are more important than
they are and GOD still feed them in
such number, and will not allow us
to want, GOD is the universal
parent that feeds all the fowls of
the air, and we human being are
not suppose to fear, but he will
supply our needs as our lives are of
more important than theirs, and
GOD provides for them
This is not to say, that men should
not sow, nor reap nor gather into
storehouses; but to reprove their
hesitancy and unbelief, that they
have the opportunity of sowing,
reaping, and gathering in , year, by
year, yet distrust the provision of
GOD, when the fowls of the air do
none of these

27)Which of you by taking
thought can add one cubit
unto his stature
ANXIETY AND CARE
Add one cubit unto his stature- No
anxiety will alter our bodily height,
or neither will that anxiety add to
the length of life which GOD has
appointed for us.
With all human anxiety and care,
we cannot increase your stature by
a single cubit, GOD has ordered our
height, who vain a thing is to
distract ourselves with anxious
thought about our body and life< all
thinking will not add a cubit to your
stature; as our being and existence
originates from GOD, so the
increase of our statute depends on
him; as he makes the child to grow
to just the proportion which he
hath intended for such child.
GOD blessing is necessary for this,
and so necessary that no thoughts
no means, will add any thing
without divine blessing, what
reason have we to take any such
thought, no means, will add any
thing without the divine blessing.

that even Solomon in all his

one of these
30)Wherefore, if GOD so
clothe the grass of the field,
which today is, and
tomorrow is cast into the
oven, shall he not much
more clothe you, O ye of
little faith
ANXIETY AND CARE
( WHY ANXIOUS ABOUT RAIMENT
CONSIDER THE LILIES OF THE FIELD)
The consideration is taken from
the care which GOD gives to lilies,
that the growing of the lily, the
flowers of the field beautifully
clothed some in red, the other in
white, it labors not, and it spins
not; yet night and day it grows, with
a beauty with the most magnificent.
Presence, it expands its flourishs
and fills the air with fragrance.
Yet this beauty is of shorten, soon
it will fade, and the beautiful flower
will be cut down and burned, GOD
give so little regards the
bestowment of beauty, which will
soon perish.
Will GOD be unmindful of his
children? Shall they dear to his
heart lack that which is proper for
them, and shall they lack.
JESUS teaching points to the fowls
of the air, flying in their sight, so to
the flowers, in the adjacent fields
and valleys; which he would have
them look upon, with their eyes,
consider and contemplate in their
minds, how they grow, in what
variety of seizes they appear, of
what different beautiful colors, and
fragrans odors they wear and yet
They labor not, as farmers do, in
tilling their land, ploughing their
fields, and sowing them with cotton
out of which linen garments are
made

ANXIETY AND CARE OF THE
WORLD
THREFORE TAKE NO THOUGHT
Be not more distracted and torn to
pieces, as it were, with anxiety and
unbelieving thought saying, what
shall we eat, how shall we be
provided for during the remainder
of our lives?
JESUS warns that such disquieting,
distrusting, distracting cares about
things of this life, there are
temporal things take no thought of
your life, but GOD refers it to GOD
who lengthen or shorten it as he
pleases; our time are in his hand,
and they are in a good hand of the
creator who design them according
to his will
GOD has given us life, and has
given us the body, and what can he
not do for us, if we take care about
our souls for eternity, which are
more than body and it life
