REPENT OR PERISH
SUPPOSE YE THAT THESE
GALILEANS WERE SINNERS
JESUS make use of this
occasion by way of warning,
and to stir them up to
repentance.
JESUS said man do not suffer
because they are greater
sinner than others,
I tell you, Nay- JESUS assured
them it was not right to draw
such a conclusion respecting
these men, the fact that the
men came to a sudden and
violent death is not proof
that they are especially
wicked/sinners
EXCEPT YE REPENT:
Except you forsake your sin
and disbelief on JESUS and
turn to GOD.
*JESUS took occasion,
contrary to their expectation,
to make a practical use of
that fact, and to warn them
of their own danger, by
warning the wicked and
entreating them to forsake
their evil ways and turn to
GOD by believing in JESUS
CHRIST
YE SHALL LIKEWISE PERISH
Ye shall likewise perish; or
be destroyed, in like manner,
as these Galileans did:
All men must repent or else
perish
o Suffering is not
always due to greater
sins
o All men are guilty of
great sin, sin great
enough to perish.
o There is only one way
to keep from
perishing: repent and
be converted

REPENT:
Means a complete change
of attitude and conduct with
regards to GOD and sin,
which is accompanied by
corresponding change in
character and conduct by
amending once own way for
past offence, which requires
a change of heart

turning from sin unto GOD.
*but as a result of GOD”s
mercy in leading man to it,
made possible by enabling
“GRACE” given to man as he

THE KINGDOM OF GOD
The kingdom of heaven is at
hand “means”
The kingdom is the LORD”s,
he is the sovereign LORD of
the Kingdom of heaven, his
coming is now; it is
immediately upon us,
therefore, his kingdom or
Sovereign rule is now
REPENT AND GET READY
The kingdom of heaven, is
another world.of another
dimension of being, is not of
this earth.
It is Spiritual; it is not
physical, not something we
can see, look upon, and
handle, the coming kingdom
of the LORD is from heaven,
not the kingdom of this
world.
Only JESUS CHRIST can bring
the kingdom to the earth, the
kingdom is of GOD, not of
man which only believers are
the only one to partake of it
by the Spiritual and internal
grace would be
communicated to many, in
whose hearts it would reign
and make them meet and
make them meet the
kingdom of glory as to meet
the doctrine and ordnance of
it from heaven.

O GENERATION OF VIPERS
A wicked offspring of wicked
parents, deceitful and
mischievous creatures
PHARISEES -were Jewish
religious group that adhered
to both the entire Old
testament and their own
human interpretation of it ,
that emphasis that salvation
come by obeying the letters
of GOD’S law and their
interpretations of that law,
which taught that the coming
Messiah would be an earthly

other nations and help Israel

GOD’S law.

WHO HATH WARNED YOU
TO FLEE FROM THE WRATH
TO COME:
What comes in your mind,
what had move you to it,
who give you the hint, as the
idea of the danger of divine
future wrath to flee from the
wrath to come?
GOD’S“wrath”

astonishment that sinners so
hardened and so hypocritical
as they were should have
been induced to flee the
coming wrath, the divine

BRING FRUITS FOR
REPENTANCE- Are works
that are the proper product
of repentance, manifesting
the sincerity of your
repentance a proper change
of your mind from the love of
sin to inward repentance,
which has its seat in the mind
and heart
AND THINK NOT TO SAY
WITHIN YOURSELVES, WE
HAVE ABRAHAM TO OUR
FATHER:-Do not imagine that
having Abraham for father
will do instead of
repentance, they regard it as
sufficient righteousness to
come from a holy man of
Abraham. is small matter in
the sight of GOD.
It means” that GOD could
raise stone, are raise up
those who should be worthy
children who are to be called
his name believer
THE AXE IS LEAD ON THE
ROOT OF THE TREES
To enforces his appeal, he
informs them that they had
no time to delay their
repentance, because the
patience of GOD was very
near exhausted, and come to
an end, his judgment is at
hand
And anyone that, while he
professes to be one of GOD’S
people, contradicts by being
wicked, and have not
repented genuinely in his
heart is cut down instantly
without further delay and
cast to hell fire
*John the baptize- I am not
JESUS Christ but the
messenger and forerunner of
JESUS CHRIST, sent before
him to Baptize men with the
baptizing of water in
testimony of their
repentance; but there is one
immediately coming after
me, who is preferred before
me, that I am not worthy to
unloose his shoe latchet
He shall baptize men with
another kind of baptism, the
baptism of the HOLY GHOST
and fire
*WITH HOLY GHOST,
inwarding washing away
their sins with his blood, and
sanctifying their hearts, the
Holy Ghost working like fire
purging out lusts and
corruption, and inflaming
their hearts with sense of
love, compassion, mercy

But who may abide the day
of his coming? And who shall
stand when he appeareth?
For he is like a refiners fire,
and fullers soap(Holy Spirit).
